This place is great! I've never gotten undercoating on a vehicle before. It was easy to make an appointment, and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They communicated very clearly about all the steps of the process, and how to maintain it afterwards. They started working on the vehicle right away and had it running with the heat on for me when it was done! It's such a relief to get this service done and not have to worry so much about rust from all the winter salt. I would absolutely recommend this place, and will be coming back next year!

Rust Check Portland did a fabulous job on my dads car!! Cody very kindly greeted me and everyone else that walked into the check in area and was very efficient getting me checked in. He is very educated on the services they provide and goes above and beyond making sure the customers know they, as well as their vehicles, are taken care of. He was so personable and had great energy. As for the service itself, I couldn't be happier. It was fast, effortless, and it was a job well done. I'm not sure what the man's name is that was actually taking care of the vehicle but he was also incredibly nice!! My dad has been coming here for a few years and I can see why!

I always feel a sense of relief and reassurance after my appointment at Rust Check, I love when they tell me that my 2009 Volvo looks great underneath because we all know rust is the cancer for cars. Cody and his crew are all so nice, friendly, professional.....just top notch. Can't recommend enough. It's fast, affordable, easy to schedule. Maine is tough on vehicles, this is beyond worth it.

I brought my 2010 Corolla in to get an undercoating for the first time, and I am extremely glad that I did! To start, making an appointment was very straight forward and I was easily able to find a date and time that worked for me. I was greeted promptly upon my arrival and they began work right away. The employee that was at the counter was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions about the process and explain to me how to maintain my car's undercoating in the future. It only took around 30 - 40 minutes for them to work on my car. To top it off, it was seriously affordable and I can tell they did a really solid job at coating just by taking a glance under my car. I haven't had good luck with rust in the past (winter road salt is brutal!), therefore I am so relieved to have that protective coating to keep my car on the road and will definitely be coming back next year to get a fresh coat. I highly recommend bringing your vehicle to Rust Check, you will not be disappointed!

Rustproofing is probably the single best investment you can make in terms of preventative maintenance particularly in Maine.

Their pricing is significantly less than what I was quoted for a Fluid Film application at another shop. I was overall pretty pleased with the service and how thorough Cody was about the procedure. But I was a bit dissatisfied when I jumped back in my truck to find that the steering wheel was covered in the oily rust check substance. I also noticed that there was a thick coating that covered the whole exterior of the the truck from windshield to side windows. I’m sure that’s just overspray but that was a bit annoying. Overall I would recommend Rust check but I would hope they would be more careful with the interior of customers vehicles.

I absolutely recommend going to see Cody at Rust Check! Vehicles are a huge investment for most people, and taking steps to keep them in good condition is very important in the Northeast where the salt used on the roads in the winter, as well as the salt air (on the coast), can eat away your car. Rust Check is extremely reasonably priced, convenient, and a must if you love your car. Salt damage can happen in a very short amount of time, and anything to mitigate that is worth every penny. Cody explains everything, was very accommodating to my schedule, and just so nice! (He even laughed at my dumb jokes.) To top it off, I got a hand written thank you note in the mail from him! These days, very few businesses even bother with something so personal and kind. Cody has a customer for life with me and I'll tell everyone about him and his business.

I bring all of my vehicles to Rust Check in Portland, ME. I have brought everything from my 2 year old pickup, to an older rust bucket for my Daughter. It is worth every penny. The product they use works better than any undercoating I have ever done seen over the life of the vehicle. You go to Rust Check once a year, they pressure wash everything, and apply brand new protectant. The yearly cost is very reasonable for the piece of mind. I have a 2012 Honda Accord that I have been bringing to Rust Check for years, and I have zero rust issues with the old girl.
