I recently bought a used car with Rowe Ford. Dealt with Susan. I am autistic and unable to make phone calls. I sometimes have to stim (hand flapping, strange mouth noises, rocking, repeating words that are in my head) and while I am extremely intelligent, it takes me a lot of time to process information and I have a hard time thinking under pressure.
I say all of this because I was blown away by the service I received at Rowe Ford. I was not pressured, I was not looked at strangely by ANY of the staff, they worked with my inability to talk on the phone, they explained everything that I needed explained, Seth took my incessant questions like a champ and was very professional and helpful before I even came in, Susan was incredible - I enjoyed our time together, she made it comfortable and as stress free as being in a loud building trying to purchase a car could possibly be, and during the purchase Liz was even sweet enough to warn me about the loud printer before she fired it up.
I love my car and I can't express enough how wonderful they were. It's not often that I get to just be myself and still be treated with respect and dignity as a full grown adult.

He went out of his way to help with warranty issues and was able to connect with Ford Corp to cover a transmission issue that we had just missed the extended period for coverage. I have always been treated very well at Rowe Ford. I went in for an inspection sticker and some other quick issues. The service manager asked how long before I wanted / needed my car back. I asked for 2.5 hours. I was called within that time period. I had to go back another day to have a power steering pump changed out for the car to pass inspection. I made an appointment for the next day and since it was going to be a lengthy job, I decided to leave the car and would wait for them to call me when it was done. The only problem I encountered was at the 6 hour mark, I called to see if the car was done, however it hadn’t been started yet. I was frustrated at the lack of communication. I understand current difficulties about getting people to work and getting parts, I just would have appreciated hearing that my car would not be ready that day. I was able to pick up the car the next day at the predicted time and was compensated for the unexpected “wait” time. Like I stated initially, Rowe Ford has always done a great job on my vehicles, but if they could communicate in a more timely manner that would be an improvement. Customers shouldn’t have to badger the service department for information or timelines.
Perhaps hiring someone to take care of communicating with customers and let the service managers and technicians take care of the vehicles and set up a type of triage. Thank you

On 12/23/21 we Picked up my Wife’s 2022 Ford Maverick, it's the Hot Pepper Red one in the Pics (ordered July 2nd). All I can say is this, my Wife LOVES it. Apparently, I did good (she said). I wondered if this Truck was going to live up to 6 months of waiting....it did. The looks, Amazing, the ride, Excellent, the interior comfort, very very comfortable (XLT AWD with The Luxury Package). The ultimate dollar cost/value, again, excellent. Very Happy and Louie was GREAT explaining how to use all the buttons, from the heated seats to the Ford360 System and everything in-between. Thank you Lou;) Go test drive one if you can, you just might like it as much as my Wife does. Oh and when I parked it next to my F-150 at home, it looked like my Truck had a baby, an adorable baby, that is;)
07/02/2021 Put a formal order in for The 2022 Ford Maverick (I was the FIRST formal order at Rowe Ford Westbrook, nice) I met with Eric Young in sales to do the paperwork.
Another reason I like going to Rowe Ford Westbrook is that The service staff there is excellent. Rich, Matt and the other service managers always greet me by name and with a smile. They do Excellent work with very competitive prices and have top notch mechanics (Tucker just to name one) and the parts department team is great also.

Dealer was unable to duplicate the issue (car would go into limp mode, engine at idle and no transmission). Based on the codes I provided they recommended replacing the throttle body, even though I had already done so (granted it was a Chinese umbrella aftermarket part). And....the very next morning after driving it home, it did the exact same thing.
I should point out that the customer service e was top notch. The service writer kept me informed every step of the way and laid out all my options. Even some outside the box options given the supply chain issues. But their diag was far from top notch.
UPDATE: Rowe Ford really stepped up and made things right (and then some). I am extremely happy with my overall experience and cannot recommend their service department enough. Thank you!

This was my fifth purchase with Rowe Ford in Westbrook and in light of the fanatical pandemic, another pleasant experience was no small task. Normally, Cyndy was my "go-to" (since retired from Rowe), but the salesman I decided upon was up for the job. Matt Moody was knowledgeable and the very definition of a patient professional. He communicated and computed several offers for the vehicles I was interested in and not what he may have favored. We went back and forth a few times as the F-150 trim I wanted was being sold faster than I could write a check for. But in the end I have a better truck than what I was looking for.
Teamwork was also phenomenal in closing. Nobody wants to sit in any dealership all day waiting for your paperwork and spanking new vehicle to be ready to take home. Matt simultaneously helped and coordinated with staff to get the truck ready and financed. The Financial Manager; Chris Blanchard signed and folded paperwork faster than superman on laundry day. I was surprised when he recommended but did not try to force the issue of compensation insurance on me - typically unseen in an F&I.
Once again, I'm very happy with the thorough experience at Rowe and looking forward to the exceptional service team at Ford Quick Lane for my continued business with them. Jeff Hanson

He was "product knowledgeable" and was able to answer our questions concerning the F-150 Eco-Boost truck we were contemplating buying. Daniel bent over backwards to make us feel comfortable during the sales process. We truly hope this quick note conveys to you how much we enjoyed (if that's possible in a truck sale and this was). Daniel's positive attitude, happy demeanor, and his confidence in the Ford products. It was a pleasure for us to have done business with him and we truly hope the next time we buy a vehicle that Daniel is still there to assist us. Rowe Ford has a real "Jewel" in this individual. Took our F 150 in for 30,000 mile service and a cabin filter change and was pleased with time to complete the work. The complimentary wash was a nice plus. While I understand the push to sell extra services ($), I was surprised at the recommendation to flush front and rear differential lube at 30,000 miles. Ford recommends 100,000 miles unless the truck has seen “- - heavy load full throttle towing” which this truck has not seen. At $310 quoted for this service I would expect the service writer to at least explore how the truck has been used before making a blanket recommendation to flush and change the lube.

I broke down on memorial day . I had my truck towed to Rowe they were closed for the holiday so I called Tuesday. They told me they couldn't look at it until Thursday. Three days with no truck I wasn't happy but what could I do . The service department called me back. The same day they and told me my starter needed to be replaced. I was so happy I said please do it. They called me back at 4:30 pm and told me my truck was ready. So only one day without truck.I was a very happy customer . I have a 2011 F350 that serves double duty for me. I tried bringing it somewhere else for an oil change once and had to being it back to Rowe commercial service so they could fix everything the other place messed up. Another time I had blown a fuel line on the highway had it towed over and they had it back to me very quickly. One of the fuel lines came loose soon after, they came out towed me to the shop, had it back to me the same day, and gave me an oil change for the trouble. Never going to take my truck anywhere else. Best service I have had in the last 20 years.

Excellent completion of Ford Escape lease agreement..I leased again a new car, a 2022 Ford Escape, SE. .Eric Young was my Ford rep as he has been for my last three leases..this is my fifth lease at Rowe Ford, all Escapes.Eric and finance manager plowed through the paperwork , background checks, finance materials…Eric connected my phone and an iPad to this car and explained the numerous bells and whistles of this new car. I had reserved a vehicle that was very much in demand and I did this in the middle of a car shortage. Other dealers were changing the terms on customers and marking the vehicle up as much as 30% to 35%. Legally there wasn't anything preventing Rowe from doing this but they kept their word and gave me a great deal. There was nothing stopping them from tacking on a really big admin fee or raising the price other than their honor and respect for their customers. I feel very lucky to have ordered from Rowe Ford and to have worked with Lou Couture. Great experience overall. They had my back.

I had been looking for a Ford Bronco Sport for months! Every Ford dealer I went to jacked up the base price to the highest degree making it impossible. I had originally gone to Ford in South Portland and they tried to get me to buy a USED Bronco with 15k miles on it for $35,000. They were so rude and eventually just started saying “its not in your budget stop asking” Finally my Mama went to Rowe in Westbrook after so many attempts and let downs. Daniel made us feel so at home. He helped her with every question and worked with her to find a price that worked for both parties. Even including taxes and everything else which was not even a question in South Portland. He was always willing to talk with us and never made us feel belittled or pressured. I have always said Id never buy a ford, today I drove off the lot with my brand new Ford Bronco Sport. Daniel made me feel so special he had me take a picture with me and my family with the car. he told me it would be something id want later in life and im so thankful he did. My overall experience at Rowe was a little rough. I had to take my truck to the dealership two different times to get a part replaced because they ordered the wrong one. The second time instead of sending me home with a still broken truck Hedi put me in a rental so they could fix the broken part when it came in the next day. This saved me from spending another day waiting around in the lobby. It was greatly appreciated after all of the back and forth. The reason I am giving Rowe four stars is because of the customer service I received. Hedi was absolutely wonderful and Rowe is lucky to have her.

So I did extensive damage to my 2018 f150 by sideswiping my mailbox.
Rowe was one of the few places that could do the aluminum welding my truck required. After setting a date and dropping my truck off they pushed back the start date a week because they were busy. Before my truck was done I went to Rowe to pay my 500 deductible so I could pick up my truck when completed at any time, even after hours. I was told there was nothing due. Ok I left.
Then when my truck was done I was told there was a 500 balance. I picked up my truck and drove an hour home. On my trip I noticed a wind noise from passenger door, my tailgate lock and backup camera not working, a screeching noise coming from some speaker in my headboard.
I called Rowe and they arranged to pick my truck up. In the meantime it rained and my cab was soaked inside. Apparently the windshield leaked.
They took the truck along with my list of problems. They had the truck another couple days. They fixed most things to my satisfaction although I still have a little wind noise.
I gave them 4 stars only because they came and got my truck and redelivered it to me.
Otherwise I think it should have been a 3.
Just going to trade it for a new truck when inventory picks up.

On 3/2 I brought my truck in for a piece hanging under the truck and because of a miscommunication, when I got home the piece had not been fixed. They fixed another small piece that needed a clamp. I called that afternoon and let them know how upset I was because it is a 100 mile round-trip for me. I had to go to Portland the next day so I stopped in to discuss this. I showed them the piece that needed repair or replacement. They immediately took the truck in and replaced the damaged part, at no charge fir the part or labor. They were very apologetic and went out of their way to make things right. We have always had excellent service at Riwe Westbrook over 3 vehicles, and for us it is worth the drive to get the best.

I could not believe the customer service I got. From the commercial side where I dropped my car off by accident because I didn't know where to go on a Sunday. They tested my car with 5 different people and only charges me very for 1 hr of labor. Even walking across the parking lot people not salesman even said hello take care happy new year. 5 stars on politeness 5 star on going extra mile for me 5 stars for treating me like a pearson not a dollar bill and 5 stars for making me feel like no other dealership could and that is being welcomed. Had a great experience at Rowe Ford. My wife and I were looking for a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport Outer Banks. The selection in all of New England was minimal at best. Rowe actually had three of them on the lot! Our Salesman, Lou, was very informative and helpful. He explained everything there was to know about the vehicle and had it ready for us to test drive when we arrived at the dealership. We loved the Bronco and were given what we thought was a very fair trade in price for our car. We do have a small issue with some scratches in a couple plastic pieces on the Bronco, but Rowe has offered to replace those pieces free of charge without any hassle. Overall it was a great buying experience.

And my financing person was excellent, she broke things down easily and honestly with what payments will look like. I don't know how much money they paid for the truck, but I knew the market value and I was very happy when it came to the final price. The entire vibe was very straight forward, no typical shady lines like "Oh man at this price we're actually losing money! Plus there's 7 other people who called about this car today!!" I can't stand that type of pushy sales person and staff, and I didn't get a single feeling of that once at Rowe. I understand that dealerships are trying to make a profit, but the best deals are honest and open where both parties are very satisfied, and I can't speak for Rowe - but I am a very satisfied customer. I would highly recommend Rowe Ford Westbrook, ME to anyone in the market for a vehicle and a sincere and respectful sales experience.

I'm am very happy with the oil change service but when i saw what i was charged for 4 lugnuts, I pretty near fell off of my chair. My wife had to bring the car for service as I had to work. The lugnuts were swollen ( cheap 2 piece jobs) which l understand had to be changed but I was charged $391.00 for 20 lugnuts. I explored NAPA, Amazon, ebay and even Tasca Ford in RI and the same part numbers only came up to $30 as the most expensive for 20pcs!!! I've never been gouged for anything at Rowe Ford before and I hope this was a mistake. My wife not knowing the difference paid for them thinking it was something badly needed. I was a heavy equipment operator and mechanic for 44 years so I'll wait for an explanation from Rowe Ford. I've dealt with you and only you for 6 years since we moved to Maine but now......!!!

When I arrived the truck was sitting right in front of the sales department with my name on it. I was introduced to the salesman Leif and we hit it off right away. Talking with him was more like two friends catching up rather than a sales pitch. He was very personable and friendly with a great sense of humor. He answered all questions adequately and professionally and if he did not know he hustled around the dealership until he had an answer. The finance director Chris was also very friendly and had a good sense of humor. Typically, I get anxious when talking about finance etc but Chris was very cool and relaxed. I usually have a good sense for when salesman etc are being courteous just because they have to be or because they want to make the sale. Leif and Chris both seemed very genuine and committed to their work. When I am ready for another vehicle I will definitely be coming back to Rowe Ford Westbrook!

Happy to elaborate. I picked up my Ford Explorer after a month - (4,000 miles and needed a new transmission). The car was driving pretty roughly so when I dropped it off, I went straight from home to the service/dealership. I left it with just under 1/4 tank of gas. When I picked it up, I was told just before I got in my car that o should “head straight to the gas station”. The service mechanics had to drive the car multiple times to make sure it was repaired. I totally get that. I did not expect to pick up my vehicle, with my child in tow, and get in my car that said “zero miles to empty”. Given the fact that this dealership had my car for over a month, parts were delayed and showed up broken. I never complained once. One would think that someone could have thrown in a couple of dollars of gas so I didn’t have to worry about making it to a gas station.
That is basic common sense and basic customer service gone wrong. Hey, even add the $2 to my bill but why leave a customer’s car literally on fumes when it was left there with gas in it???
That is not good service.

They Checked on it and ordered parts and scheduled installation within a week. All was completed in a few hours. They do a great job and get you in and out efficiently. I needed some repairs done during COVID, and the safety measures taken went above and beyond (including pick up and drop off, and the guy even made sure to put my hand sanitizer in the rental vehicle when he dropped it off). Here we are two years later and wound up in need of a Ford dealer again...as luck would have it we were in southeastern maine again! We went back to Westbrook Rowe Ford. Once again we had an excellent experience! We arrived 15 mins before our appointment and were taken right in. They had our RV for 20 mins and informed us that we needed an alignment and some other things but that the alignment needed to be done first. Because of the size of the RV they could not do the alignment .They even suggested where we take it which turned out to be a great suggestion. They gave us a detailed list of what the RV needs , but no bill. 50 stars are in order here! Thanks again!!

I recently purchased a certified truck from Rowe Ford in Westbrook and was very surprised and pleasantly pleased with the sales experience. It was just the opposite of the stereotype picture many of us have. My sales person, Liz Atwater, was outstanding and very professional.
Liz knew her products extremely well, listened carefully to my needs and concerns, and did an excellent job matching the two. The few times she did not know the answer, she did not try to BS it; she went to the source and got the right info. She was very well organized; her follow through on commitments was very good and I never had to remind her.
Rowe had a nice selection of trucks, and, unlike some of their competitors, easily and willingly brought a truck for me from their other facility. The truck was all ready for my test drive and was well prepared.. There was no standing around, no waiting, no excuses.
Importantly, Liz was very patient and low key and not at all high pressure, never pushing something that was not a good fit and never seeming to push a sale.
The sales manager and business manager were also very courteous, professional, and helpful. Their followup has also been good.
All in all, I highly recommend Rowe Ford in Westbrook, and Liz Atwood for a very satisfying sales experience. Obviously, the final verdict will be when I pick up the truck and drive it for a while, but I have a lot of confidence that aspect will also go well.

My 2018 Fird Transit Connect was towed to Rowe at noon on Wednesday September 1st. It would not start, a problem that I already had an appointment for Wednesday September 8th. Normally when it didn't want to start it would finally catch and I could continue on. When this happened the A/C would blow hot air, the temperature gage would drop to C and the outside temperature would read 20 °. After driving for 15 minutes A/C and readings would go back to normal. All that being said, I received a call from service at 9:30 on Thursday September 2nd. asking what the problem was. I explained the whole thing. My issue with all of this and Rowe Service in general is communication. I had to call Kyle Smith (the only person that know the word communication) to ask him to get someone from the service department where my van was to please call me and let me know what is going on. I still have heard nothing. I could not get a loaner car, so I'm here with no means of transportation and I take care if my 93 year old father. To say the least, I'm not pleased.

How to put this, they tried not to sell me stuff ie a tire, because mine was fine, and recommended a balance. Other places would of tried to make me get 4 new tires. I am happy i went here. Great work was done to my vehicle. It is hard to find an honest place to take your vehicle to get work done. But I am happy i went here.

30,000 mile service on my truck as well as dio some issues I am having. Unfortunately, they can't figure out why my truck is acting like it is. Almost a misfire or slip on acceleration. All testing says truck is running right but driving it says differently. Not for any lack of trying as they did put the effort in. Next step is to call Ford but nothing on Rowe. Their service was great.

Brought my car to the service center for a recall on the doors, they didn’t answer their phone after 15+ calls so I just went there physically (they were all next to their phones) When I got my car back my door handle fell off and my horn didn’t work. I tried to call again several times over the course of 3 days and they never answered the phone. Finally I tried a different line (scheduling center instead of main operator) and they were super nice and scheduled service right away. Inspections with Rowe have always been fine, but the service center on its own definitely has to work on answering the phones.

Salesman said the 3 yr old truck with 29k miles was a "certified used Ford" with a warrenty...it was NOT. He said it would be cleaned & detailed when I went to pick it up...it was NOT. Salesman was out the day I went to pick it up, NOBODY knew I was coming to pick it up & no paperwork was ready when I got there. They DID include a Ford warranty at no cost to me, BUT the paperwork was incorrect, shortchanging me 25k miles of a 75k mile warranty. Rowe argued that the paperwork was correct, I contacted FORD myself & confirmed that I was right. I corrected the warranty paperwork per FORD and sent it back to Rowe. I have since cleaned the stained interior & returned the previous owner's personal paperwork to Rowe. I have NOT heard back from Rowe since.

I recently purchased a 2015 Altima S with the help of Lou Couture. I had no intention of buying this vehicle or even thought I would have any luck being able to leave the lot with one. AMAZING service! I was traveling to Acadia with a camper when my brake controller died. Rowe Ford had the part. I installed it in the parking lot with tools lent to me by Richard (I hope that's his name). Once installed, the new controller wasn't working. Another tech jumped in and reenabled the controller and it worked! The old one had locked out the gain function when it failed amd had to be reprogramed. Anyway, Rowe Ford saved my families vacation! I'll be honest the process was stressful, but not on their account. Lou was there for us every step of the way. He made every effort possible to make sure everything went smoothly, and I'm sure that was no easy task.
I'd like to re-iterate that any stress was due to our personal circumstances. I'm absolutely astounded by the paitience and accommodation of everyone on the Rowe Sales team. I place my full trust in them. They secured a very resonable financing plan for us and my wife and I are really happy with it.
There were a lot of outside circumstances that affected this deal but Lou Couture and all the great people at Rowe Sales pulled through for us. Big thanks to all of them!

Another 5-star experience at Rowe Hyundai in Westbrook. We've had a multitude of problems with another dealership for our other car, so the excellence at Rowe Hyundai stands out even more.
I used the night-drop slot to drop off my car for a state inspection and oil change. At 8:15 a.m. the next morning, they called to tell me everything that needed to be done on the car to pass inspection. They also let me know that in a few months I would need to replace my front brakes, gave me an estimate of cost on some other repairs that I could wait a month or two to complete, and told me they'd call me back when they were finished with the oil change, small inspection repairs, and a safety recall.
Not only did they call a few hours later to tell me it was ready, they were great about working with me to pick up the car. When I arrived to get her, she was freshly washed on the outside and the floor was even vacuumed. LOVE IT!
The other awesome thing about Rowe is their Owner Advantage program which lets you earn cash rewards and free oil changes.
They have finally completed most of their remodeling project, and Hyundai now has its own service center rather than using the Ford side of the dealership. Make sure you go to the right entrance!

I applaud this dealer for the professionalism and courteous behavior from all parties involved in the transaction. This was my first time servicing with Rowe Ford and they impressed me from the start! The team was super busy when I arrived and they never stopped smiling (even though I know they were stressed) they kept upbeat, they walked me through the process and told me what everything was going to cost, they even allowed me to call a couple local shops to check their prices (they were the lowest price of the 4 other Ford dealers I called). All in all it was a great experience and I want to say thank you!

Rob Finley made this experience smooth, quick and without the normal sales pressure non sense you find at most places. Jerrel in service is top notch and a pleasure to deal with. Rowe stood out as the best of the best in my recent car-shopping experience. I cast a pretty wide net this time around, considering Toyota, Ram, Chevy and GMC trucks in addition to Fords. That meant I met with a lot of dealers, and Rowe Ford was consistently the easiest to work with.
Special kudos to my salesman, Ryan Griffin who made every effort to find me the right vehicle, was very knowledgeable and found exactly the right balance of following up and being responsive without being pushy.

I brought in my Ford F-150 truck for service yesterday not realizing all the work it would need to pass inspection. I knew it was in rough shape, but not as bad as it truly was. I had a lot of questions and concerns because I am supposed to be closing on my first home tomorrow. Richard Haines in the Service Dept. helped me out tremendously with everything and eased my mind on the repairs we needed to have done. He was able to walk me through the process and answered all my questions. I may end up purchasing a new truck in the next month or so, but in the meantime, it was nice to feel like I had someone assisting me and talking over my options without just throwing numbers at me. Some dealerships and car repair shops give you the runaround, but I never feel that way at Rowe and I always look for Richard to help out when needing service. I highly recommend customers speak with him whenever they go in.

Great experience buying at Rowe Westbrook. Nate Cloutier was our salesman, and I would highly recommend asking for him. I also dealt with Kevin Callnan, as my first contact through Internet sales - Kevin's good communication got us through the door.
I would also say all of the other folks at Rowe that we dealt with were friendly and courteous. I would recommend researching the vehicle you are considering prior to going in (that would be any dealership, not just Rowe).
I'm not sure that car buying is ever a pleasant experience, but the folks at Rowe made it as pleasant as possible. I would definitely consider returning there for future business.

I applaud James Mathews, Thaddeus Green, and William Valle for the exceptional customer service I received in my recent 2018 Hyundai Tuscon purchase. Early on in our negotiation my husband passed away. Back in 2017 I had gotten my first financed vehicle and unfortunately got a lemon, a 2006 Jeep which I paid $7000 over priced for. When I went to call the salesman a week later, they let me know he quit.
I took that as a learned lesson.
So, when my husband Brian and I decided we wanted a new vehicle, I knew I wanted things to be different. I knew I wanted Brian to look it over, test drive it, and watch ample amount of reviews on whatever vehicle we were looking at.
When we walked into Rowe Ford in Westbrook we were instantly greeted by Peter Macridis and something about him just seemed so genuine. We all talked for awhile and discussed what Brian and I were looking for and we fell in-love with the first vehicle we test drove, our new (to us) 2017 Ford Escape. The following day, I called the bank I had my Jeep loan through, they let me know I still owed a lot more than I thought on my Jeep. I called Peter and he spoke to Chris who is the financial officer there at Rowe Ford and my worst nightmare had happened…. The bank we were approved by when giving my estimate on the pay off for the Jeep, explained that the pay off was too high and they wouldn’t be able to up the new loan for the Escape. My heart dropped for a brief second and then it rose again when Peter and Chris said they would figure out the money situation and that everything would remain the same!!! We left the lot in our new vehicle that day!!
I really cannot express my gratitude to these two. I never thought that a car dealership would be so gracious and willing to work to make sure we would have our new vehicle no matter what!! Anything that had come up, Peter was so quick to relay information and get back to me when he had new answers. I loved the customer service at Rowe Ford in Westbrook, and I am sooo happy to be apart of the Ford family!
