This is the most reliable place in the area for any Auto Service.. besides my work place :) Xtreme Auto I have my 2016 GMC Sierra truck with alignment issues and needed a second opinion to fix it, they have expert and honest technicians who helped me with the possible causes of the problem. previously I have already brought another's cars for alignment and repairs prices are fair and do not overcharge for services It is the first time that I come after they remodeled and I like it The waiting area has a lot of space, wifi coffee ☕ and clean bathroom

This place rocks. My service person was Dan. He is the man to talk too. Love this place it totally changed my whole attitude today. Tires I got were continental extreme contact DWS06 96 Y. Amzing tire and amazing staff would recommend to everyone forget les swhab forget discount tire. Les shwab was gonna charge me $1152 for their own carp brand reputation tire. Discount tire system was down and I wasted 30 minutes before they said anything. Dan hooked me up $882 out the door that is for 235/45/18. Jim bacon is my number 1 tire place now. Keep it up. I have nothing but great things to say about this business! When I had a slow leak in one of my tires and the dealership didn't have an opening for over a week and a half (new-ish, 2021 vehicle), Tire Pros squeezed me in the next day at 9a. Checking in was easy, the associate was friendly and the waiting room was clean with a few seats. Sure, the waiting room is small and workers are in and out grabbing tires from the racks you're sharing the space with, but in all honesty - nothing terrible. After about a half hour, an associate called my name to provide me with the status of my tire - which had an irreparable leak (due to its location). And although I decided not to replace my tire, Tire Pro did provide me with a very reasonable quote for a brand new tire with labor included. They did not pressure me into buying a tire and honored my decision. They also didn't charge me for their time, but ensured me that if I decided to come back it would be the same price they quoted me. Excellent business with true Tire Professionals!

They were amazing! My first using their service. I saw they had good ratings on Google Maps so I thought I would give the a try. They charges less for oil change than their original estimate. They rotated my tires for no additional charge. They even replaced a missing lug nut for no additional charge. Free wifi in their nice clean waiting room. Friendly and helpful staff. I will for sure be back. Convenient location flight off TV Hwy and 217. You guys know how to make someone trust you and want to come back. Thanks!

I'm a Vanlifer working the Beaverton area. On Christmas Eve 2022, during the ice an snow, I got stuck. I broke my brake line frantically trying to put on chains and get out. I end up eventually getting out(without chains or fully functional brakes), and made it to a safe spot to ride out Christmas. I called Jim Bacon's the morning of December 26th. They were able to schedule me for the 27th. They had my brake line fixed good as new in about 2 1/2 hours and charged me less than $300 for parts and labor. That kind of work and cost is invaluable to a Vanlifer. I even offered to pay an $50 as a tip, help buy the shop lunch, the clerk declined.....classy move. I hope somebody reads this review and decides to give them a call.

Great locally owned tire shop. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They remodeled last year in the showroom and the front of the store and it looks very nice. Their prices are extremely competitive and offer different financing options which is a great benefit. They also do auto repair work now as well. Jim Bacon's has been there as long as I can remember and it's nice to have an independently owned store in Beaverton. Easy access and they have a great web site where you can check out all the different brands of tires they carry and can get a price quote sent to your email. Following an accident our truck sustained significant damage to the wheels, tires and underbody of the vehicle. We contacted several shops that either told us the vehicle was not worth repairing or the wait for service would be weeks. We had recently put in a new engine so the vehicle had a lot of value to us. We are also a one car family and relying on a rental for weeks was going to cost us more than we could afford. On a referral from the body shop I contactacted Jim Bacon Auto Service. The mechanic we spoke to offered to take our vehicle the same day we could get it towed to the shop to make a repair assessment. Within an hour we had the truck towed to the shop. By the end of the day we were called with the damages and cost to repair. The Mechanic assured us the vehicle could be repaired and set a very fair price. They also told us it would only take 4 days. The service was so good we asked them to take over some other maintenance we had scheduled with another shop prior to the accident. Jim Bacon was very fair and honest. They pointed out that an expensive repair another shop had recommended was not necessary, which saved us hundreds of dollars. They were prompt and patient in answering our many questions. They also completely repaired the vehicle in 4 days at a price far below than what we were expecting. Our truck is like a new vehicle and the quality of the work done is evident inside and out. We only wish we had used Jim Bacon Auto for all our other auto service over the years. They will definitely have our business from now on.

So I've been going to Jim Bacon's tire pro's for about 15 years now. My wife and I have three daughters and a son, we have used them for brakes jobs, new tires, oil changes. The reason for us to continue to take our business here is Jenny. I work for a customer service based company that takes customer service very serious and when I'm out in the world I watch how other companies conduct their business as I know exactly what to look for and will make future decisions based on how my family & I are treated. Jenny understand how thing's work and she does a great job at it. She understands that we have used their services for many vehicles over the years and that not only loyal customer's but all customer's should be taken care of. Jim Bacons did a full brake job on my F-150(4 new rotors and brake pad sets). The initial cost was on the high end in my opinion. I had a minor issue with the work and had to bring it back for a follow up. The issue was found quickly and was repaired at no cost to me. I believe Jim Bacons went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the work at the end of the day. The work was completed within the timeframe promised and communication overall was clear and detailed. Recommended!

Once again I was in need of new tires, Jim Bacon's has always treated me well. I have multiple times had to stop in and get a nail removed, never an issue. So when it is time to purchase tires, which I have done twice this year for my SUV and Truck , it's never a second thought of where I will buy. I bought a car for my daughter; it needed tires and a “few” other things. We originally came to Jim’s shop for tires and had an appointment scheduled with the dealership to handle other repairs. After a thorough evaluation by his tech, I was quoted for repairs + some other items of safety concern. Craig, at the front desk, was very knowledgeable and helped us get a great deal. I cancelled with the dealership and my daughter’s car was fully repaired, safe to drive in just a couple days. The work was more extensive than I anticipated but all justifiable and far more reasonably priced than the dealership. They are very clear about what products they’re using and how much time it will take. Their mechanics are well-experienced and if they can bundle things into the labor to save you $$, they will. If you’re a nice person who doesn’t want to be taken advantage of, I recommend this shop, but I also suggest you not be naive; auto work is expensive. Kindness is mutually enjoyed here. I've never had a bad experience with Bacon's! Had to get my car towed last night. Advised that they can take their time with the service but they are hurrying to get it done. My starter went bad & they're were quick to act on getting this done. The prices are always reasonable compared to going to any other place I've been to. UPDATE: difference was refunded next day. I appreciate the response and followup. I will reach out for a quote on tires due to this level of concern and response. Was quoted $1000 to do shocks and struts for my car. I made an appointment, dropped off car, and when I came to pick up car, they charged me $1200. Brought up the issue and desk agent said retail was $1300 so I got a good deal. Need new tires but won't bother with a place like this. Everything else was good so not going to overreact by giving 1 star. Just won't be going back. If you do, get quotes in writing and confirm before dropping off car.

Always a pleasant experience with the staff, no matter how unpleasant the car news is. Honest and dependable shop. My only possible complaint is in regards to the financing options which feels relatively unimportant in regards to the shop, it is a factor if you need financing.

Was quoted $239 at les Schwab to dismount 4 tires, remount 4 tires, and balance. They said it would have been $99 if I had purchased at les Schwab which I did. Could not find a receipt. Jim Bacon was $80 FOR THE SAME SERVICE. Awesome!!!

We happened upon this local shop earlier in 2020 when we had a flat and were in a bind. They were super helpful, got us in right away and got as a new tire at a very fair price. So, when it came time to replace all 4 tires on our car this summer, we came back! And I’m glad we did. I stopped by the business because it was the nearest place to check on a sudden noise coming from underneath my car. They quickly checked it and said it is something that can be fixed quickly but that they didn't have the car jack available at the time until later that day. When I got there at the time allotted they appear busier than ever. However, Jenny had a crew fix my car right away and I was out of there in 15 minutes. She refused to charge me; I am just so grateful and amazed at the professionalism and generousness that is this company. It certainly made my day that these busy people were able and willing to help a stranger that so happened to stop by there. Recently had a tire go flat after a dealership appointment where they left the valve core loose. After two hours of runaround from others, I called Jim Bacon's. Jenny immediately offered support and solutions. She sent a technician to my location with some tools to help me put a spare tire on my vehicle. He was quick, efficient, and professional. When we returned to the store, they replaced all four tires - which only took about 30 minutes. The team stayed a little past closing to complete the job so I wouldn't have to come back another day. After the awful experience with the dealer, I ended up coming home on a positive note and singing the praises of this location and staff. THANK YOU so much! Good place to get special tires like Finnish Nokian. When you get here, try to deal with Jenny Bacon. Others seem to be confused and disorganized, or just may enjoy chatting with you for extensive time about all kinds of automotive topics you may not care for too much.

I realized I had a flat tire on the off-ramp of 217 and pulled into the first driveway, which, by luck, happened to be Jim Bacon's Tire Pros. The lady working was courteous and the mechanic filled all my tires, patched not one, but two, screw holes, and in just over 30 minutes in their comfortable lobby, I was on my way again. The best part was that the service was on the house. They made an unexpected and stressful situation go as easily as possible. The next time I am in need of auto work, I will be coming here. This shop is EXCEPTIONAL! I started going here with all of our family vehicles years ago after the dealer started some shady practices. They have "Tire Pros" in their name but they are so much more than that! They do all kinds of work on cars, oil changes, etc. They are fair, honest, female owned & they offer a Veteran's discount! My tires were purchased at Bacons by the previous owner of my truck, and I had a tire going low every few days. I took it to them after I located the leak at the stem and they replaced it. The funky part was that the purchase wasn't in the system, but they repaired the problem at no cost nonetheless. I am very pleased with Jim Bacon’s Tire Pros. I went to their website and requested a quote for new tires, balancing, alignment and the installation of new rotors and break pads (that I purchased online, not from them). They got me a quote back within 24 hours and had my 2013 Shelby GT500 in the shop soon after. I was told it would take 5-6 hours and it was ready for me in 4. Friendly and quick service!! I called Jim Bacons Tire and the told me to come on by and despite being busy werw able to repair my flat at no charge. Now that's good service!! Went here after dealing with another shop that wouldn't listen to me about my car. The previous place took over a month to fix my car and just reset my computer. Upon taking my car to Jim Bacon they told me up front what would be best to start and then called with a cost of repairs. They listened to my concerns and completed what I wanted as well as found other things that the previous mechanic didn't do. Car is now running great like it should've from the start. Can't recommend Jim Bacon enough. These guys are very good at what they do. Highly recommended.

Great customer service and friendly staff. I have been here twice and while both times I was in for something minor, their professionalism was great. The first time I went in I needed a flat tire removed from my spare rim. They didn't charge me a dime and worked it in in between their other scheduled work. The second time was for switching out TPMS sensors from one set of wheels to another. They had a very clever and quick process to do this work and only charged me $10/wheel to do it. They had time in their schedule to work it in on short notice, didn't try to up-sell me to new sensors, and got finished with the work within 45 minutes when 2 hours was expected. Another shop I called said they needed the vehicles for 2 days, didn't have any availability for over a week, and wanted to charge me 4x as much.....I like Jim Bacon's Tire Pros and you will too.

I’ve been here twice and neither time really got a friendly welcome, which is fine because I’d rather have a sincere “what do you want” attitude over a fake “Hi, how can I help you today”; as long as the work on my car is solid and competitive pricing (which it is). The only reason I’m marking down one star is because I’d expect a tire store to reset a low tire pressure indicator on the dash board. It was simple enough for me to RTFM, but it didn’t feel like a full service worthy of five stars.

I lived in SW Portland for seven years and this was my go-to place for tires, suspension, alignment work, etc. I have never, not a single time, walked away from this store feeling anything less than 100% satisfied. Each and every time I'm quite certain that these folks have spent longer working on my cars than they've billed me for (I had a few "complicated" issues). Super professional and competent. I now live in Hillsboro and will definitely go out of my way to visit them for my needs. My last encounter was over a tire vibration issue on a brand new car that the dealership completely dropped the ball on and made it seem like it was a "normal" issue and/or my imagination. Within 20 minutes Jim Bacon's Tire Factory had given me my keys back and told me the tires were defective. They handled the warranty claim and exchanged my tires without a single issue. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough. It's a gem.

The staff was friendly, got right to the repair, offered to swap the wheel back on for me to replace the spare, and sent me on my way free of charge! Found this golden nugget of tire heaven. Stopped in with a flat tire. I suspected my car was out of alignment. I was able to get flat repaired at no cost and a great deal on the alignment. The waiting room was stocked with ice cold water and tasty popcorn. The staff was very friendly, best of all the time estimate was accurate. I most definitly recommend this to anyone looking for a pro tire experience.

I just love these guys. We go here year after year to change our summer to winter tires. And we have purchased a number of sets of tires from them. For about 10 years, we have been using Jim Bacon's and I much prefer them to the guys up the street. Now Jimmy knows who I am and I can trust, I'll get good service. Jim Bacon’s can get you in almost any time you need them to perform service. I have had two sets of tires, they provide the first year of road hazard FREE on many tires (maybe all!). I trust their service and know they back their work fully. BONUS FOR JIM BACON TIRES: The dealership where I bought my car had NOT properly placed my oil cap on after an oil service, which caused multiple check engine error codes to trigger, and my check engine light came on, plus I had performance issues from the dealership mistake. Jim Bacon’s found the issue and corrected it for me, building even more confidence in what they do when I take my car. They will even check your car maintenance schedule and advise of work needed. I’m definitely leaving a 5 star! My tire pressure was at 12! And I’m not from around this area, I had no clue where to go. They were the closest place to the area I was in. They closed at 6pm and I got there at 5:30 and luckily they helped me. They found a nail in my tire and fixed for me with no charge! So nice! I’m so thankful they did that!

The crew here works hard to get you in and out fast. I popped in to make an alignment appointment after getting in an argument with a curb, expecting a couple days as it was around three pm, however a pleasant surprise awaited me when (Jimmy?) Told me they could get me in and out within about an hour. The alignment was still true, and they only charged me for a check. 10/10 will come back.

EDIT: after complaining on social media, I was quickly given an apology and refund and honestly now I feel like a jerk. Shoulda said something while I was there I guess. I wouldn't give you jerks a star if I had the option. I went in for their half off oil change deal and it worked out once before but this time was stupid. They had my name and car on file so they should have known what oil I needed when I called to make the appointment. When I Bri g my car in they remove the old oil and wait an hour to tell me that not only do they not have the new oil but it also wasn't a part of the half price deal (even though it had been before) and wanted to charge me over twice as much as I would be charged at another store. They knocked of 50 dollars because they messed up but it was still more than 20 dollars more than other places. I sat there for an hour and a half and would have raised hell had they not made me late for a work meeting.

What kind of customer service provider closes all day on Sunday and doesn't have hours of operation after 6pm on any day? This means most people who work a normal 9-5 job have a slim window for Jim Bacon to honor a warranty issue. On the flip side they match add prices, although when I went there to get my tires they were too busy to do the free tire alignment check that comes with the purchase of a set of tires. We were visiting the Portland area and needed an oil change. Jim Bacon's Tire Factory was recommended so we made an appointment. The service was excellent. The girl at the counter even pointed out a possible problem with one of our tires that the service representative noticed during the oil change. She did not try to sell us a tire, she just wanted to inform us of a potential problem with our tire. The personnel at the store were very friendly and professional. If we lived in the area, we would use Jim Bacon's Tire Factory for our auto needs.

Do not believe any bad reviews here. This is a family business and the owners are the most genuine and honest people you will ever meet. They go above and beyond. The owner has also collected me from home after a miscommunication. It must be exhausting having to deal with people, when they are having a bad day. And life does that once too often. And usually it's our own fault letting things slip and leaving things to the last minute. I wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else! They want you to be as safe as possible out there in this crazy world and will not sell you anything that you do not need.

Just got a basic oil change today(had a 18.00$ coupon. super cheap!)and everything from the service at the front to the quick waiting time was perfect. Only issue is there internet wifi was down. i tried all the Addresses offered on my tablet but the ip address wouldn't connect. anyways good stuff, ill be back for all my other car issues and update my review if anything further is needed to be addressed
