This is my first review of any business. My experience was that great. This is also the first time one of my vehicles have not been to a dealership. From my interactions with Carl, my service manager, to the mechanic who noticed me in the lobby, ( which was spotless) stopped what he was doing to come out and greet me , to when I picked up my car and found it it had been washed, (which I was not expecting) this place is a class act. Only go there if you value professionalism, great customer service, communication, competency and honesty. There was one thing they didn’t do that I asked for. Why didn't they? My vehicle didn’t need it. Imagine that. This is my experience at what cost me half as much as it did at dealerships.

These guys are awesome! My GLE350 started to not shift into reverse or drive gear at times. Called them and they gave me a wednesday appointment. By chance i was by them on a tuesday morning and just left the car thinking i would get a call on a Wednesday. I called Carl and he said to bring it down ( I live in Payson Az)and they would see what they could do. They found the problem and also fixed a couple of other problems as well. Bought 2013 SL550 and experienced rumbling when driving. After one quick test drive Zach diagnosed problem, worked with our warranty company and repaired within a week. They also provided interim service required. It runs beautifully now. The pricing is very reasonable and way better than MBZ dealership. They recommend using MBZ manufacturers part but don't upcharge by an arm and a leg. Thank you Zach and company, b.

I first became aware of this business when the owner happened to drive by me at the side of the road with a flat tire. He quickly went home and came back with the necessary tools to get me back on the road. When I moved to Scottsdale sometime later I brought my Mercedes to him for service and repairs. In all my time, this has got to be the best service I have ever had from a car repair shop. The prices are much lower than a Dealership and they really take the time to talk to you, explain the situation and give you options, with no pressure whatsoever. Five Stars. My Benz had an intermittent check engine light that was difficult to diagnose. Zach and MBZ took their time testing sensors, inspecting parts and getting to the bottom of the mystery. A less professional shops would have changed parts at random, crossed their fingers and charged me for guesswork. MBZ, on the other hand, performed a thorough diagnosis and changed ONE part. The price was reasonable. The shop is as clean as an operating room. Don't take your Mercedes anywhere else in Scottsdale or greater Phoenix.

Had the rear AirMatic suspension bellows replaced on my wife’s C300 Coupe. They did it same day (once the parts arrived) with OEM parts for half the cost I was quoted by the dealer. They even noticed the fob battery was low and replaced it gratis, and provided courtesy transportation. Taking your MB to these guys is a no brainer. I’m very impressed.

Professional, competent, friendly. The ignition module in my 2006 Mercedes SLK350 became intermittent, then failed. Scottsdale European is one of the few third party service centers certified by MB to handle ignition and other theft-deterrent systems. Carl at SE got me in on very short notice, did a quick diagnosis, confirmed the failure, and ordered the new module. Our GL450 broke down in Phoenix while visiting family and needed to be towed to a shop for repair. We didn't know where to take it but cold-called a few places. No one could see it for at least a day. I noticed Scottsdale European Service's perfect five star rating and gave them a call. Not only did they take the GL in immediately but started digging into it to figure out the problem that same day! I highly recommend SES! They got it in quickly, diagnosed the problem (and a few others!) fixed it, and had great communication. A web and text based mode of communication that was amazing and I really appreciated!

Scottsdale European Service has been taking care of my Mercedes GL-450 since 2018. On this occasion the rear suspension needed attention and they changed and installed new shock absorbers, suspension air bags, compressor, filter and an oxygen sensor. Our car died while my wife was driving. Fortunately she was near our home and was able to get the car going in order to get home. Carl was willing to get the car in very quickly as we had out of town family coming in and took the time to have the car looked at. A low pressure fuel pump in the gas tank needed to be replaced. They took the car in right away when we drove there and fixed the car with the new fuel pump and we got it the next day. I needed a wheel alignment and my Service A was due as well. I didn’t want to go to the dealer where service has progressively gotten worse over the years so I searched online and what caught my eye was “vehicle pick up and drop off” the fee for that was minimal and it would’ve cost the same to Uber back and forth. What a great find. I am new to the area and was not expecting to find such a great independent Benz mechanic in N Scottsdale. Shop is clean and everyone that works there is really nice and welcoming. I originally brought my AMG in for an A service but they also performed a full visual examination to ensure that my car was in top running condition. In that inspection they did recognize some other items needing attention but at no point did they pressure or expect that I get them repaired, at their shop or at all. It was literally just an FYI. I did elect to have those items addressed and these folks not only did a great job on everything but were also very fair on pricing. I'm thanking to have found these guys and look forward to having them service my car for years to come.

I love the visuals of the problem and importance of repair in colored zone along with the price, my business is valued, Carl has stayed 15-20 minutes beyond shift when I've been in a traffic jam, late for an appointment that I was late for as a result of a detour on the 101 I asked if I should reschedule and he told me no problem, upon arrival they had everything ready to go the auxiliary battery was repaired in 10 - 15 minutes. From walking in to receiving the keys to my car, MBZ exudes customer service. I only received the services I needed and got estimates for future recommended services. The prices are very reasonable compared to any Mercedes dealer but the quality work is still top notch. The communication I get from the beginning of a quote to updates from text that gives me a website to show the status of my vehicle. The location is ideal, it's next to either a Chevron car wash I can chill at, a massage spa, or take a short Lyft to nearby restaurants or Starbucks/Dutch Bros. They also walked me through getting a dealer warranty for a leaky gas smell. Mercedes fixed it for free and I would not have known this without MBZ. I needed my left rear view mirror lamp replaced someone had pulled it off, the Mercedes-Benz dealer told me it would be over $2- 5,000, because they would have to order the entire rear view mirror from Germany, that they did not replace just the lamp , I had to replace the entire rear view mirror, it was not done separately, the amount did not include labor. I found a number of other auto shops that service Mercedes Benz , however, none compared with the impeccable track record of customer satisfaction that MBZ of Scottsdale presented! Zach gave me a price that was significantly lower than what the dealer offered. I had questions to the glow of the , I was able to interrupt his busy schedule, with and offering me to bring it in as soon as I could , 4 them to check it out, nothing was wrong with, he brought me back to where the technicians were with it disassembled and ask how they could make it better, and wanted to understand what they could do . I concluded and agreed with them it was a okay and I will be back for future services , such as my B service which is upcoming . I live in Tucson and was looking at buying a Mercedes C300 from a Phoenix dealer. I needed someone to complete a vehicle inspection for me and after researching potential Mercedes specialists in Phoenix I found this business. I called Zach and discussed my needs and he was able to inspect the car the next day. Zach and his mechanic thoroughly went through the car and after 2 hours gave me a full inspection report listing a dozen deficiencies that needed to be addressed. He also took pictures of some of the trouble areas that I was able to show to the dealer. These deficiencies were fully documented in his invoice and I was able to present them to the dealer for correction. Zach charged $200 which I felt was very reasonable as Mercedes Benz of Chandler wanted $500 to do the same inspection. I was impressed with his shop and how thorough he was in evaluating the vehicle. I would highly recommend MBZ for anyone looking for a Mercedes repair shop that cared about the customer needs as Zach demonstrated.

Have brought my 2013 C300 here twice and both times I walked out with relief on my face. You know how bringing a car in can be dreadful? Well, bringing my car here I know I can trust them and know they will do everything in their power to save me money. I had brought my car to two other places for a broken door handle. The quotes were very high, but I decided to ask again while doing a normal service. MBZ's quote was approximately a 1/3 of the others. And while the guy told me it may take over a day, which I was prepared for, I received a text with an invoice about 3 hours later, saying it had been finished. I have a 2004 SL600, which is notoriously one of the most finicky and difficult to maintain cars in the world. Needed some fairly major repairs, and Zach at MBZ came highly recommended. He did not disappoint. The car was finished ahead of time, at the quoted price. On December 20, 2019 as I started my vehicle I heard a cracking sound that subsided, however, upon shifting to drive my steering tightened and battery light flashed across the dashboard as being the problem.... I knew the problems I was experiencing were many, and all I could see were many dollars signs I was not prepared to spend, or to be without my vehicle for the repairs, as I drove my car to a safe place. I called MBZ Scottsdale getting Carl who gave me a preliminary of what he thought it might be and I should not be driving because it was not safe, but could not determine till I got it in for a look. Thankful, they were open for a full day and working up to the day before Christmas Eve. Carl called me once my car arrived of the problem with the pulley and all the MBZ, tech talk (to fix it ) it and an estimate, I know would of been 5x or greater at the dealer, not to mention appointment time, parts availability or an excuse to perhaps work on the car after the holidays, I could breathe easily and go back to my merry mind set in preparation for Christmas.... Needless to say with no expectations, the wonderful MBZ-technicians repaired my vehicle on Monday Dec., 23, 2019, Carl called at 3 p.m. to say I could pick up my vehicle, informing me they are closed day before Christmas Eve and after Christmas, so I would not be able to pick it up till the Friday, all of which I completely understood and I was just extremely grateful it was fixed and at a feasible price . MBZ closes at 5:30 pm and I was concerned not getting there in time since I was coming from the West Valley, this, was the second time that MBZ was willing to wait for me to arrive after 5:30 pm understanding traffic or the need for me to have my vehicle back.... Had a "hood open" sensor light on my 2005 benz. Took it to MBZ Scottsdale Service and Zach examined my car. Thinking I would need to have the sensor replaced or worse. Zach came back 10 minutes later and it was fixed! Turned out the sensor was out of alignment. Zach said "No Charge", that was unexpected and very cool of him. That says a lot about his integrity. There are many choices from which to choose your car care service needs. Most of the time you simply surrender your keys and grit your teeth wondering how much this one is going to cost and more importantly , are these guys really telling me the truth. I have taken my vehicles to MANY different shops enduring the aforementioned machinations only to come away highly unsatisfied "Gruelich's" to I wonder if these guys are using me as an ATM machine "Schumacher European." I get it.... if you are in business you are SUPPOSED to make money off of your customers but if you fail to deliver what was promised you should make it RIGHT or negotiate faithfully to refund the customer's $. Unlike Gruelich's who were polite but unyielding to keep my money from a "repair" that did not fix the problem MBZ Scottsdale were really awesome. I paid about 45% less than the dealer and drove the car home, put it up on ramps and inspected the brake work. It was performed as promised. Give them a try and who cares if they do not give out loaner cars! An Uber or Lyft.. is twenty bucks but you save so much $ using these guys that it is a good thing! Thanks guys!
