I made an appointment but got a call fron Steve who suggested I bring it in immediately as they had an availability. Brought it in with a leak in the A/C, went to lunch, got a call and options were given. They replaced the leaky component and evacuated/recharged the system. Good to go and not too terribly expensive. So far no issues with the A/C. They listened to my concerns regarding treatment of the car as it isa bit different.

They have always been fair, honest & reasonable with the general maintenance of my vehicle. Their customer service is Diamond Club status. When a mystery issue arised, they did due diligence, found core problem and refused to charge a dealer quote of $700 for specialty part. They offered EQUAL QUALITY repair for less than 25% of dealers specialty part quote. THAT'S INTEGRITY! FRIENDLY continues to retain my loyalty!

I had called several auto repair shops to see how much it would cost to get my tires rotated. Every single repair shop were charging anywhere between $9.99 to 49.99. When I called Friendly Auto Centers, I was expecting to be told the same amount. I had no idea that they rotate tires as a courtesy! No short cuts were used. They did a complete tire rotation. It was hard to believe, but they were true to their word. They definitely made a future customer!

Customer service was great. Daily they called or texted kept me about the status of the repair. On our RV transmission. They didn’t try to sell me on additional service or parts that were not necessary. Also very easy to work with. Night drop was convenient too and allowing me to pick on weekend when they were closed was great. Price was reasonable for quality work and thorough inspection. Will definitely be using them again for our other vehicles as well. Thanks

I have been taking my truck to Friendly for several years. They have always been reasonable and straight-shooting without the constant upselling you get in other places. When I bought my next car, I had no qualms taking it in for an oil change and will use them for any future work needed. They are both Friendly and trustworthy!!

Fixed an oil leak, and steering. They also reconditioned the headlights and replaced a blinker free of charge. After the leak was fixed the first time I had to bring the truck back 2 more times as truck still leaked oil from different spots. They had great customer service. The owner Steve is great. I’m hoping the missed oil leaks are an anomaly and can be corrected with a little more training of the mechanic working on the truck. I’m will continue to use Friendly automotive as my mechanics.

I was very pleased they could work us in on such short notice. All the other shops were booked out over the holiday. I also liked that they gave me a quote in advance of doing any work so I could see everything up front. A shuttle home was also nice so I didn't have to Uber.

Thought I had a transmission leak so I took it in they quickly figured out it was a coolant leak from a hose below the turbo dripping down the transmission. They ordered the parts and had the job done the next morning no issues. Only thing I didn’t like was the text communication for updates on the truck and quotes. I get that’s how their system works it just felt less personable than a phone call with someone explaining what they found.

Tune up, flush radiator, oil change, tire rotation. Debra and Arik(spelling) at the front desk greeted me like I was their brother. Told them what I needed. Debra generated a written estimate that I signed before the work started. (I loved that part). She was very pleasant to work with. Picked it up later that day and Arik was just as impressive. It wasn’t a penny more than the estimate. I can feel the difference in my car. It now feels healthy again. Nice work to those in the trenches that performed the work. For me there is an extra bonus by living in Tower Point. Can walk or drive the golf cart there. I have found my mechanics for life. You will not be sorry. Try the for your next auto needs.

Needed an alignment I scheduled with same/next day availability. I went in checked it in got just my alignment done instead of other places that do a whole inspection on your car and take triple the time! When my car was done I paid and was ready to go. The whole process was simple, easy and fast! Definitely coming back for future work!

My Nissan Armada wouldn't start .I chose friendlys because it was close to home and they offered free towing. They towed my car off within an hour and had diagnosis and an estimate within a couple hours. The price seemed a little high for a crankshaft sensor replacement, but my car was fixed and driving the next day. (They also informed me that my car needs another $2000 in repairs) Not happy to hear that but I will be bringing my car back to them. The convenience and piece of mind is worth it.

The young lady in the office recommended a restaurant within walking distance for breakfast; she also gave me a ride back to the shop in their courtesy car. Price for the oil change was very reasonable. As a part-time resident of AZ its nice to know I now have a dependable service station for all my car needs.

Friendly Auto is my new go to place for my vehicles. They are Friendly and they have great service as well. I got an oil change recently and they found a few small issues. Instead of saying I need to repair them today I was given a few option including a timeline to repair in the future as needed. I am so pleased with my expirence I was greated right away given an amazing price on oil change and found out that I had a bigger problem then needing oil change and that it was covered under warranty I didn't know I had and I was given number for where to go and a option to not pay for the oil change this is the best experience I ever had at an auto shop that I just happen to find that's right down the street for me you guys saved me over 300 $ by telling about my warranty I did still pay for oil change they ended up changing it again that day when they fixed my problem at dealer but that was money well spent I will always come here any time I need help with my car even gonna refer anybody I here having car trouble

I'm so happy I found this shop. I picked them based on reviews. I'm a senior that drives a 04 Jeep Wrangler that's my pride and joy. A shop I'd been going to for 6 yrs said I needed a new AC compressor at $1700. I thought this was suspect because the entire system was 4 months old. So I asked FAC what the cost would be and they said $985 but let us check it out. It turns out a previous mechanic put the orifice tube in backwards and my bill was just over $600. I asked them if they could install my own parts (heavier duty parts) and they said no problem. I belong to 3 Jeep groups and I would recommend Friendly Auto Care to any friend of mine.

First time using this business and definitely will come back for any car needs. I have already been recommending them to friends, family and co-workers. I spoke to Manny on the phone and in person very friendly and knowledgeable as was everyone there that I spoke to. I brought in my car the same day for transmission issues they worked on it immediately and I picked it up in only a couple of days. When Friendly Auto Repairs online site says, where every car leaves with a smile, it is not only words is is 100% fact!!! They are outstanding in every aspect!!! They know exactly how a business should be run and for care of customers. From making appointment, questions and through picking up car. My husband and I are 65 and 66 years old and Friendly Auto is the FIRST honest shop we ever found. I felt that in a sense they saved our life. Our car was down and we were walking to grocery stores and desperately needed a break in life. Friendly Auto replaced a fuel pump and battery in my 2000 Ford Taurus. They started on it earlier in morning than our appointment was for!!! It was ready that SAME day!!! Another shop wanted to keep it several days to check it out??!! The gentleman on phone was so nice and so polite. They sent me texts and emails with estimate and updates. They actually called when my car was finished!!! Never have I had a shop do that. My car was so clean and they even did an awesome cleaning on the wheels. Dusted inside also. I could not believe all this care!!! So YES my baby DID come home with a smile!!! To some in today's world it may seem a small thing, but when we picked up my car they gave us a calendar and key chain with measuring tape. How cool and how nice!!! It reminded me of days gone by with that extra little nice touch to appreciate the customer. If you had bad experiences with shops like us, PLEASE trust my review and call Friendly Auto. They deserve your business and you will be as happy with them as we are. They are a top grade shop in every category and HONEST. Did not try to upsell me. Only what was needed. Time for my 2nd oil change since using Friendly Auto Centers. Booked an appointment for the following day; waited for the oil change in their lounge. Changed oil and advised me air filter was very dirty as well (it was overdue for a change I am sure), so got that done at the same time. Aric kept me advised as to how things were going; was in and out in a fairly quick amount of time. Have referred four family members to Friendly Auto Centers and all have been pleased with the service. One interesting thing I noticed - they are not open Saturdays which does seem to be a bit of a surprise (not that I would necessarily need that since my schedule is always flexible; some people may find this to be a negative if they work all week). Friendly Auto Centers Is one of the best auto mechanics I’ve gone to in several years. They are up front with you and answer any and all questions you might have. I went in a week after my initial appointment to ask some general questions and they were more than helpful even taking the time to hook my truck up to the monitor to check on a couple things for me. Friendly Auto was outstanding in helping me out! The window mechanism had broken on the drivers side door of my van. I really didn't know who to go to and called several places. Manny called me back after a fairly short time and was absolutely outstanding in easing my concern for where and how to get this fixed. He was quite certain right away what my problem was and set an appointment for the next day for the repair. I arrived and was receive a very friendly greeting! The gave me a ballpark estimate, confirmed cost once they knew exactly what it was, told me an approximate time when it would be done! They nailed EXCELLENT SERVICE in every way!!! Friendly is pretty much the only mechanic that’s worked on my wife’s 07 Beetle and not actually caused an additional issue while working on the car. That alone makes them worth worth it to me- you can count on the fact that they actually know what they’re doing! I’m sure you can find other places that will charge less for certain repairs, but the mantra of “you get what you pay for” certainly rings true in the car world- you’d rather pay a little more and make sure it’s done right rather than going elsewhere and having a serious issue the next day.

Our friends recommended Friendly Auto on E. Main St. in Mesa. So we tried it. Our drive to get to Mesa was over 2000 miles. We had had battery problems on the way here as well as a few little issues like an indicator light that had popped out of place. We booked an appointment for a Thursday so we could pick the car up for the weekend. It was amazing that we only described the problem once. Arik remembered everything and typed it into their records. So when we dropped the car off a few days after we made the appointment, they were prepared. Everything was fixed on time and at a great price. I really appreciated the time the mechanic took to explain the problem and the action they took to solve the problem. It was at least a ten to fifteen minute conversation about what to watch for in the future, and preventative actions that we can take when we leave the car here for the hot summers. We are really pleased that we have a place where we can take our car. Highly recommend Friendly Auto Center on E. Main St.

My minivan started making some grinding sounds intermittently recently. My brother-in-law recommended Friendly Auto Center in Mesa near to where I was staying. I called and talked to Erik and was told that I could bring the vehicle right in and I did. As always, the vehicle didn’t cooperate by making the sound for them that day but I appreciated that they took it out several times to try to figure it out. I was very impressed that I was kept in the loop about what was happening. Although it was disappointing that the noise and issue didn’t make itself known that day, I left as a happy customer because the friendliness, communication and honesty were so refreshing! If/when the noise starts again or if I have any other vehicle repair needs, I’ll definitely go back to Friendly Auto on Main Street in Mesa with confidence that they will get the job done and with a smile.

I've been taking my truck to this shop for 4 years now and am always happy I did. Whether it's a simple oil change or a major part replacement, the staff at Friendly's are always helpful, timely and trustworthy. My truck always drives better when they're done with it and I've never had a problem with their work. I won't go to any other service center for my truck maintenance and repairs.

I had to get some work done on my brakes and rotors. I originally was irritated because what I thought would take a single day ended up taking almost three. But the reason was due to difficulty finding parts. They tried 9 different kits and finally found one that fit. They did great work on my vehicle and even let me use a loaner due to the length of time it was taking. But what really let me know they care is they replaced a set of hubcaps for me (something they did on their own as a kindness). I feel they do excellent work and really care about me, not just the vehicle or getting paid. Thank you so so much!!

Because of the excellent service/work on all my vehicles over the last couple of years by Friendly’s I specifically drove my truck from the Northwest to have them fix my steering. Once it was determined that the rack and pinion needed to be removed and replaced we set up a appointment. I was only dissatisfied with the lack of communication on the status of my truck as it entered the second day of repair. In the past Friendly’s has always provided status on my vehicles.. I did receive an apology and a clear understanding of what repairs were done on the truck. I hope this was only a communication hiccup. I have total trust in their business.

Dealership told me I needed my engine rebuilt (about $8500). Brought my car to Friendly Auto and they were able to repair my issue without having to rebuild and saved me thousands!! Can't thank them enough. They could have gotten me for a rebuild - I wouldn't have known any better - but they are a business of integrity. I was trying to get my oil changed and kept getting the answer of I needed an appointment everywhere I called. Well my work schedule is very hectic and I don't know from day to day when or of I am working let alone where. I drove down main and pulled in to turn around and seen Friendly's so I went in just to see how long it would be before they could do my oil change. To my surprise they got me right in and out within 45 minutes and had me in a waiting room fit for a queen while I waited. They text and emailed me what was wrong also when they did a check overall of my car and asked before doing any work to it. I even got a free tire rotation. They didn't even try and up sell or talk me into buying anything I didn't need.

I thought we needed rear breaks, but all it was was a break cover that was hitting the rotor. They didn't charge us for the diagnostics. Incredible! I would definitely recommend them. They also recharged our AC at a reasonable cost.

I have been using this service for years they always get you in on time and do a very thorough job of checking everything out on the vehicle and sharing what needs to be repaired. They are not pushy they advise you of the repairs under there to help you when you need them I would definitely recommend them. I got a free oil change certificate in the mail. I called to schedule an appointment and there really was no strings attached. I went to get the oil change and everything went smooth I waited in their lovely clean lounge it had great AC and comfortable chairs. The owner came in and discussed my car . I had told them about some issues I was having and they addressed them all . Showed me under my car and I was satisfied that they were being honest with me. I scheduled to have my brakes done the following week along with a few things they were gonna just throw in no charge. Even though my car is only a 2004 PT cruiser they treated me and my car like a million bucks ! Thanks guys I will definitely be using you all for my car needs.

I honestly love going here, for one the customer service is awesome. You feel the family vibe from the start to the end. My most recent oil change ended up a little stressful for me simply because I learned my car is due for some repairs BUT the woman who spoke with me was knowledgeable and gave me great advice on what repairs would be critical to get done sooner rather than later and what I can wait a little bit on. She calmed my stress and I walked out thankful that at least I have the knowledge and I could trust that they didn’t just want to do work on my car when I didn’t need it (like most other shops). The oil change I had before that was given to me for free for no reason at all, amazing. I truly enjoy taking my car here because I know it’s in good hands! I brought my car to Friendly Auto Centers for an oil change knowing that I will be saving money compared bringing it to the car dealer. So when I arrived, they told me it will take only 45mins to an hour. And so, I just waited. And before an hour passed, i got a text from them with a link to a report with pictures they done to my car. And I found out that I need to change my disc pads/rotor too. And so I agreed and they told me that it will ne done around 1:30pm. And to my surprise, they offer me a car so I can go back home and do my thing. And around 1:19pm, got another text that my car is done. I was looking for a mechanic shop for a little while and finally I ran into Friendly Auto Centers on a Google search and started going through the reviews which were awesome and so decided to give them a shot. I must say that I was super impressed with Steve and his entire staff that I got a chance to interact with, they were all very professional and extremely friendly. I was also very impressed with the shop it self and even more with the lifetime warranty on parts and labor!!! This shop went above and beyond and provided me a loaner vehicle for a couple of days while the repairs were being completed on my car. (The loaner Ford Taurus I was provided could definitely be in better shape and I advised the shop.) But I was still very happy that they had the loaner option which I was able to pick up after hours and drop my car off then as well. I feel for the amount of work done on my vehicle I paid a very reasonable amount and I so far I am very happy with the work completed. Our daughter and her family recommended Friendly’s to us so we thought we’d give them a try. When my husband called he spoke to Eric and told him we needed a battery for my 2015 Genesis. He was told it had to be special ordered (because of COVID batteries for the Genesis weren’t in stock). When it came in a couple days later, we had to delay bringing in the car because both of us were sick and they understood completely. Had my car towed in for a non start. Was told the AC system needed to be replaced, was quoted a very fair price. Was also told the thermostat needed to be replaced. Was told that they needed the car for a few days, they gave me a loaner car for the entire time my car was needed. Went to pick up my car and was told that the thermostat wasn't replaced because there's nothing wrong with it. Everyone is beyond AMAZING!! I highly recommend this shop and staff.

Friendly and professional. My only complaint is that I brought my truck in to get a full analysis done and as the mechanic pulled my vehicle into the garage there was a loud squeaking noise (part of the reason I brought it in). I thought for sure the mechanic would mention something about that noise. There is also another noise that occurs at low speeds while going over bumps (I think it is worn out sway bar links). However, the mechanic did not mention anything about either of these concerns. It would have been nice if I was asked "is there anything specific you would like us to look into?" That aside, the customer service is great, the vehicle analysis report was very well documented and the waiting area was nice. I would try this shop again. If I do decide to bring my vehicle back, I will be sure to not hand over my keys until I am able to talk with the mechanic or someone who can relay my concerns to the mechanic.

So as much as I always read the reviews, I rarely write one. However, this business bares a 5 star review in my opinion. I met the owner and his manager (I think) at a networking event. It was my first time and his first time at this particular event. Is it karma.... I have a 2006 BMW 650i. She only has 76,000 miles and I just love the car. She started leak oil. The mechanic that I’ve used for over 15 years quoted me a price of over $12,000 to fix the leaks because the seals had dried out and they would have to remove the engine to get to all of them. As much as I love the car, she’s not worth putting that kind of money out. After talking to Steve at Friendly he asked if he could give me a bid and of course I said yes. I was treated very kind and professional while still being friendly. I will never go anywhere else for my car repairs. I am a single woman and felt respected and never felt like I was handed a line. My car has been fixed for 1/3 the price and I’m so excited to be able to drive her again. Friendly Auto are my car repair guys.

Absolutely awesome, I went in a couple days ago for an oil leak and the nice people took it in right away to look at it and found my heater valve leaking coolant. They even took me under the car and showed me next thing I knew I had an appointment first think in the morning on monday. Friendly auto should be renamed HONEST Auto. It’s extremely rare to find an auto mechanic shop who isn’t trying to rip you off. So I took my car into another establishment that was closer to my house to have the tires rotated.. They would not rotate the tires because they said my car needed $2800 in work done. I took it to Friendly Auto Centers and Steve personally looked at my car and compared it to what the tire place gave me. The only thing that needed to be replaced was the car battery. Not only that but Steve contacted the tire place and let them know that all the items they listed did not have to be replaced but most items were in really good condition. Than the tire place called and apologized and blamed it on being busy. I will never take my vehicles into another establishment other than Friendly Auto. They are the best and very honest. Thank you Steve for taking care of me.By the way I won't name the tire place but it's similar to Cheerio. 😁😁

Steve Rozansky, owner of Friendly Auto Centers went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me solve a brake light issue. What took this other shop (Meineke) 2 visits for a total of 1.5 days to tell me they couldn't fix the issue because their "machine wasn't reading any problems", took Steve 2-minutes to diagnose. Low brake fluid was the cause of the dash light. Machines don't provide all the answers, sometimes you have to use your eyes and rely on your experience. Would recommend... Took advantage of a free oil change & check up coupon I received .. Expected that I would be told that I needed work done ( most places seem to add some work $$$ that they feel is necessary) .. not the case here .. Thank you Friendly Auto crew! My parents used their Uhaul services to move my brother and his family a couple of months ago .Then when we were moving my parents they were mislead to another Uhaul place on the same street and didn't realize it. Then on moving day we tried to call and confirm the reservation and no one answered, then when we drove over they were closed! I told my dad how supportive and accommodating Steve and Friendly Auto usually are with our car issues (which we drive a long distance for because they are honest and not rip offs). When we drove over Manny was helping and welcomed us in and Eric went above and beyond to not only rent us a Uhaul truck but he up sized for the same price and put everything together and had us driving away in LESS time than if we would have walked in somewhere else with reservations! I asked a few questions regarding my used car search and called for a specific question. They were so nice and gave me great advice. I did purchase a car and went to the shop to get it checked out. I truly am so thankful for them. I was just your average customer that got oil changes here because i intinially found them on Groupon. They always gave me great fast service and never try to upcharge me or comvince me to get unnecessary services when Ive had them look into other issues with my Jeep or Cadillac. The last time I had to get a oil change tho it was the day after one of the worst days of my life. It was in beginning of December and I was trying to just keep normal and do my regular activities so as not to set into a heavy depression. But clearly it was written all over my face how drained I was. While they wete doing my oil, I ended up having a hole that couldnt be repaired and had to have it replaced. Apparently that was just the thing that pushed me over the edge and I burst into tears. The gentleman behind the desk I believe the owner...poor guy lol. He said you seem pretty upset, told him what had happened and he just said, "Dont worry bout it no charge, just go get your tire fixed and Merry Christmas." As small of a gesture as that seemed. It was massive to me right then. So not only did they earn a customer for life but I tell everyone on the east side to go to them.

Steve is honest, straight forward, a straight shooter and gives you the fairest prices, with the best possible turn around times and will usually bend over backwards to throw in some freebies on the side for bigger jobs. In fact, the bigger the job the more understanding he has of the importance of those small things that add up, and he has a way of making those problems disappear. And when he has made you wait, he apologizes and has his own little ways of making it up to you. Steve defiantly makes big city seem small town.
