I called and asked for a quote. They told me that they would have to diagnose the issue but gave me a rough estimate of $364. I asked how much to do the diagnostic and they told me it would be free. I even said “are you sure? I’ve taken my car to other places and they charged me for that.” Person said, no we don’t charge for a diagnostic. So I brought it there, it ended up being $2000. I couldn’t afford that so I went to get my key and they charged me $140 for the diagnostic. I get they need to cover their time, but I should have been told that the diagnostic was only free IF I got the work done through them. I don’t appreciate being lied to, especially when I asked if they were certain. It was so misleading and I didn’t appreciate that on top of the issues I was already having.

Called today because the check engine light came on, they got me in over lunch, and got everything diagnosed quickly. I chose to not get the work done right now due to personal finances, but they gave a fair price and when I am ready I will go back to them to get the work completed. I am from out of town and last night I hit a pot hole and ruined a tire. These guys where quick to fix me up this morning and back on the road. I called them just after 8:00am and they had me out of the shop by 10:15. They could not have been friendly. I got two tires and need two more since they didn’t have them so I will get the other two tires next month when I am back in town.

I asked them to do an inspection, which they did. I specifically asked them to check the brakes and the wheel bearings. They found nothing wrong with either of those. They told me I still had 7 to 12 mm left on the brake pads. They explained that brakes on Prius cars last longer because of the regenerative braking, which I should have known. They were very pleasant, didn’t tell me I needed something I didn’t need, and didn’t charge me anything. This is the kind of business that seems to actually do what is right.

First response from Don was, “Sure, we’ll get u taken care of, what size?” That’s not the answer I got earlier from a couple of their competitors. I had a busted window regulator that caused the window to fall down randomly I had to keep it duck taped up which just caused a further mess. I brought it in during work to see if anything could be done. They were able to fix that and replace the parts AND fix a problem I had previously with my tirerod ends, and fix the alignment within 5 hours before I got off of work which is amazing. The price was also extremely fair. Would definitely recommend.

Quick & efficient staff. In and out in a matter of 20 minutes, with 2 replacement tires, & a full rotation.Very friendly. I didn't specify the use of sticky weights, so I got the old style pound on. I will be having this issue taken care of in the near future. Had I specified this preference, I`m sure they would have made the appropriate accommodations.

Jensen at 20th & Harney always does a good job for me. The desk attendant is always courteous. Never takes too long for them to complete the work. No sales pressure, but they let you know what maintenance your car likely needs and provide a summary of such with estimated costs, which is helpful. Filled my wiper fluid for free without me asking, which is cool. As far as I can tell, they are honest and their prices are reasonable.

I had a great experience at Jensen Tire & Auto. Both people who I worked with were very thorough and explained things very well. They did not try to take advantage of my knowledge of cars/tires. The employees gave me options and explained all my choices. I came in needing new tires. Other places I was priced at $800-900. Jensen was able to do it for around $600 and they had some instant and mail in rebates they also gave. The labor fees were very inexpensive. I called in one morning and was able to get in that afternoon. I will be definitely bring my business back in the future. I was very pleased with my experience.

I had a tire that was losing air. Coming home from work, I decided to stop in and get it checked out. They were fast and professional and quickly concluded that I had picked a nail. They patched the hole, and refilled it with air, and carefully added air to a few of the others til the sensors all matched. I really appreciated their attention to detail. I had a bit of an emergency. My 13 y/o son had found a screw in my driver’s side back tire and decided to pull it out, which caused it to visibly and audibly leak air fast. This car is so rusty that we can no longer jack it up ourselves to put the spare tire on. I rushed it to Jensen Tire & Auto. They got us right in and put the car on their lift before the tire was completely flat. At my request, they also checked our passenger side front tire, which had had a slow leak (& turned out to have a nail in it). They patched both tires while we waited (maybe an hour?), and only charged me about $24. I was so grateful for their honesty, efficiency, and professionalism. We were completely at their mercy, and I had worried they might try to tell me I needed to buy a whole new set of tires or price gouge us. Nope! This was my first time going to Jensen, but I was very impressed! I won’t hesitate to go back, and I plan to tell everyone I know about the great experience I had there today.

I've been here twice. Both very positive experiences. One shop turned away my Camaro as it was "too low" and they were concerned w damaging my vehicle. Jensen on 84th and Center took me in right away and didn't have any issues putting my car on a lift (no damage!). Recently I stopped in unannounced for a tire repair. Originally I requested to make an appointment via their contact us on the website for a leaky tire. I received an email stating that they are very busy and may not be able to squeeze me in. Then wanting to know more specific time frame. I responded that I work right across the parking lot so anytime Monday through Friday I could drop it off in the morning and pick it up in the evening. After two weeks of no response I called the shop and made the appointment over the phone for the next day. I dropped my car off at 8 AM and at 3:30 PM I had to call to check the status. Was told my car had been done for a while but I was never called or texted. Communication could greatly improve as this is such a convenient location for me.

My truck has 120k miles on it so it has some quirks, I thought maybe I had a bad battery or alternator because it died for a second while driving it. Rather than sell me on a bunch of unneeded parts, they ran a diagnostic and only found one code, which wasn't a threat to my truck, so because they didn't find anything or fix anything they didn't charge me a dime. Stopped by my local Jensen shop due to having a tire losing air pressure. Was greeted and asked all the details of what was needed to repair. Tech got my car within 5 minutes and the repair took about 15 minutes, they found a nail in the tire and fixed it. I liked how they took care in placing plastic in the car seat prior to driving it and returning it. Took my boyfriend's Nissan Rogue in to just get his brakes replaced and they ended up finding an issue with the CV-joint. I had no idea what that was so they explained the issue to me, even taking me into the employee break room where there was a poster of it so I could get a visual of what he was talking about. I wish I could remember the fella's name who explained that to me because he was a huge help in understanding that info and even helped me out with a price estimate. The only name I remember is Steve who was at the front desk when I originally entered. I didn't have another car to take me home, but Steve offered me the TV remote and gave me some bottled water. The friendliness and knowledge of the staff here is INCREDIBLE. Not to mention low and reasonable prices. Was able to get an oil change, tire alignment, replaced breaks, new turn signal bulb, tires filled, and professional estimates for a little over $500, compared to the Nissan dealership estimating a price that was three times that amount! Any future car repairs I need will be done here! Thank you to everyone for the help!

I’ve trusted Jensen for a while since it’s been a consistency in local shops in moving from Lincoln to Omaha. I don’t know that I have ever been told I need synthetic oil in my car with less than 60,000 miles on it. I went ahead with it, not thinking much about it but it turns out the difference is in the price. I immediately could see this was an up-sell incentive situation for the gentleman at the front desk. Disappointing.

Cheap and good service provided at this place. Went there for oil changed, and the technician found another issue with the car that needed to be took care. He gave me the choice to have it repaired or no. After repair, I could tell that something good was done. Would recommend to anyone who looks for cheap and good service.

I called Jensen Tire at 4:50 pm on a Saturday, regarding a flat tire I was bringing in. I was just blocks away with the tire and needed it repaired that day. They close at 5 pm. My child lives at the UNO dorms and didn’t realize they had a flat until 4:30 that day. We hurriedly ran it down to the 84th & Frederick location. Ryan, Retailer Manager, said he’d be ready for the tire. Got there at 4:55, tire was inspected and needed replacing. Ryan looked up our account, saw we had Road Hazard Tire Coverage. (Note: Road Hazard Tire Coverage well worth the cost!) He processed the paperwork, while the worker(s) fixed up the rim with the new tire. We were out of there at 5:10 pm with new tire ready to go. Awesome experience!!!
