My daughters car needed tires and was making a grinding noise. Made an appointment online (very easy) and got right in at our appointment time. They quoted the tires right away and called later with the reason for the grinding noise which they fixed and noted the alignment was off and quoted me the cost to reset the alignment. Battery and brakes were good. I was really impressed by their speed and open communication about prices. Great service.

I had the most positive and encouraging experience here! I found a screw in my tire and wasn't sure if my car was safe to drive. My husband was out of town and my kids needed to be picked up from school. I called Jensen, and they told me to come in right away. I was SO relieved as the other places I called couldn't get me in until the afternoon and told me it would take an hour and a half to look at the tire. At Jensen, I was treated with kindness and also observed how nice they were to all the customers who came in/out. They took such good care of me! I was in and out in less than 30 minutes! They didn't even charge me for looking at my tire! I highly recommend Jensen Tire & Auto Monroe Street for their customer service. Thank you guys again for taking such good care of us and caring for our safety!

Everyone was so amazing and accommodating in a travel crisis!!! Our air conditioning went out, the compressor needed to be replaced and we were driving across the Midwest going West!!!! Instead of telling us they had no time to help us (like another place in town did) they went out of their way to get the part quickly delivered and replaced the compressor to get us back on the road. Customer service generally wins my choice on where I go for things regardless of cost, and this place has me. From the moment I called them on the phone through the time I got my truck and left they were very nice and very responsive. I needed an oil change and for them to inspect a noise I was hearing on my front end. Their price was very competitive with similar shops but I will now keep going back to them for what I need. I’ve taken my car here a couple of times. They are friendly and prompt and even the time I needed a new tire they didn’t make it a big deal when I went with a cheaper option to match my existing tires. Three stars because the last two times I’ve gone there the tech left oily footprints in my car and the seat needed wiped down as well. I know it’s a dirty job, I have a dirty job myself. I just think they could do better. Still taking stuff here, it’s closest to my house. Same review just updating to say I think they’ve improved the oily seat problem.

Nick and his team on 168th off Harrison are always top notch! I have bought tires and brakes from Jensen for years. The work is always done great and the team is honest. I brought my truck in thinking I needed new brakes and much to my surprise the breaks were fine, just needed a balance and adjustment. That saved me a lot of money and they could have easily changed them and charged me but they called to say it was a $0 cost event because I bought the tires with them in the past. This is why I always go back to them…rare to find good honest companies this day and age. Jensen and specifically the team at 168th are awesome!

I called Jensen tire and 168th and Harrison to look at a slow leaking flat tire on our car. I called at 20 after eight after being told that the dealership couldn’t see me until 3 PM and drop the car off at nine. At 11:30 the technician called me back and said that it was a puncture wound they patched it everything was fine. They charged me zero dollars for the service. I know in some cases that some of the Jensen tire dealerships are getting some negative publicity, but in my experience they’ve always treated me well and treated me fairly.

What a pleasant surprise! Had a nail in a “run flat” tire off our Tesla. Have heard horror stories of people trying to get these tires repaired. Not so with Jensen Tire. We went to Tuffy Auto in January and they told us we needed new rear brakes. They then told us we also need a new serpentine belt. I told them we better not because they (Tuffy) had replaced it less than a year ago. Fast forward a few months, Jensen was recommended for our brakes by friends. I made an appointment online to replace the rear brakes. Jensen called me back (did not stay at the store) to tell me that the brakes are fine on both the front and back. I greatly appreciated their honesty as they could have still replaced my brakes and I wouldn't have known they were actually good. Will be going back with any other needs.

My tire sensor came on over the weekend so I stopped at Jensen Tire (168&Harrison) before work on Monday. They were able to look at my tire and repair it right away - it was a nail! When they said I was all set to go, they also said there was no charge!!! So, they took me as a walk-in appointment, completed the repair right away, and didn’t charge me! Have you ever been in the worst way and needed help from a auto repair shop...? I have to many times and it hasn’t always been good, amen. If you come to Jensen auto, and especially if you get Ethan or Scott, in any scenario you can know you will have the best service, honest answers, and unbeatable pricing. This store on about 168th and Monroe st is Awesome!!! They never try to up sale me on things I don’t need. They do inform me ( with evidence and details) things that I should do. I have tried a lot of mechanics in this area and Jensen Tire is my choice. Their service is consistent and I have never had a problem. Things are done right the first time. I have never had a problem with a repair. I have heard people say they are to expensive. I will be the first one to say that they are not. Believe me when I say that I have shopped around. A lot of companies in this area should advertise “We do it right because we do it twice”!!! I have been through them all. Jensen Tire is where I go. Very convenient and reliable.

I need to express my overdue and sincere thank you to everybody at Jensen Tire @ 16755 Monroe St. The entire crew including the garage crew provided expectional and prompt service. I had a complete set of tires and alignment finished within 2.5 hrs. I give a special thanks to Jay, the manager; whom provided me with his knowledge on the best fit, price, warranty and rebate for my new shoes on the Lexus. Their prices are very competitive and much more reasonable than dealerships. LISTEN UP! The staff was friendly, approachable, and was a top notch pit crew! I had zero haggle from Jensen Tire like most service centers for example, trying to upsale me on things that were not needed. ( If your reading this then you know what I’m talking about). However, as I have come to expect and assured from the past experience, Jensen Tire at this location are the very best found within the Metro area. There’s no other place I would take my car today, in fact I will be bragging about the abilities of Jensen Tire at any opportunity.

I had a tire deflate abruptly and limped into Jensen on 168th and Harrison. They diagnosed the problem (nail puncture), repaired the tire, and had me out of there in 30 minutes with no charge. I have used many times. Majority of the times things go just fine once in a while they forgot to work on my car or forgot to do or check something I asked them to. But overall I like the convenience of the location and their prices are typically better than a dealership. Edit: My original review was a 4, I've deducted 1 star. I called to get a price on shocks and schedule my truck. The manager was going to see when he could get the shocks in and call me back. Never called. In the past I've taken one of my vehicles in for work that should have taken and hour (oil change) and called 8 hours later only find out they forgot about me. Management has messed up other times too. I like the location, I can walk home, and prices are fair. Work is typically good. But management can frequently be a problem. I'll continue to use Jensen, but it wouldn't take much to take my 6 cars elsewhere. This review only pertains to 167th and Monroe street. I have no experience with other Jensen's.

Everything was perfect, kind courteous, clean and they did the flat repair for free. Far more than I expected. Until I left and the low air warning light was still on, so I thought well maybe since they had the tire off it might have messed with it a little. So I waited until the morning and it was still on, checked with gage and tire had 31 lbs of air in it. Not any were near what the vehicle recommends, it should be above 45 to make the light go out and not more than 51 for the tire.

Daughter hit something in the road and tire was not repairable. I previously purchased tires about 2 months ago from Jensen and got a great deal. I had noticed when I purchased the tires that my tires came with road hazard protection. I did not know that I would have needed it so soon. I dropped the wheel and tire off at 1:30 and they had a new tire mounted and balanced within an hour. I went back with the car and the service manager offered to put the tire on for free. Great customer service. When the tire tech handed my keys to me, he told me that the spare was back in the trunk and everything was fastened down. The best part it cost me less than $50.

Jensen Tire was Great! I took my car in after I replaced my front brakes. I had blown a brake line. It did take some time for them to get a chance to look at my car. Later I got a call that a brake line blew. They said it would be ready the next day. I've had other shops tell me this same thing. But Jensen called me by 9:30 the next morning with the car ready to go. I appreciated the kind and quick service I got. I'll recommend them anytime 😊 Months down the road. My car was running extremely rough. I had ideas that could be causing the issue but couldn't be certain. I took my car in thinking sensor issues and possibly a bad timing chain. Jensen did a complete diagnostic check. Found two sensors. But the engine tapping I heard was confirmed. The Technician was blunt and honest, in the nicest way. He did not try to talk me into wasting money. He said he wouldn't be comfortable changing me to replace a couple of sensors when he could here the engine knocking. With some other issues he said he would recommend getting rid of the car. But I could have the sensors replaced if I chose to. I have known my car was heading out. It's 20 years old. I greatly appreciate the honesty of these Techs. I will continue to come to them for any issues I may encounter in the future. Thanks again Jensen team!!!!!!

I had to get a tire patched because it was leaking air. I dropped my car off at 1:45pm, with no appointment and they called me within two hours to say I needed a new tire. I got the new tire which was reasonably priced and went home, all before 4pm. Very quick service for a walk-in. Overall, very pleased with my experience with them.

The customer service and business practices for my visit were exceptional. I spoke with Ryan, Ron, and Ethan. I had my car towed there using their service which was just a charge on my bill for 75. They diagnosed the problems and gave me an estimate. I didn't feel I could afford that with all the labor and asked if they could email me the estimate so I could research if it was something I could DIY. I ended up choosing to diy and said I would come pick up the car in a few days. I was willing to pay for the labor with their diagnostics and making an estimate and even offered. They only charged for the tow, which really impressed me! And throughout this entire time the courtesy and service in their communication was exceptional and didn't change when I told them I would do the service my self. They didn't give me a line trying to have me get it done by them. I really appreciated all that considering other mechanics have. I highly recommend this location based on this experience.

I went in with a tire that had a very slow leak. Even though the waiting room was full I was told they'd look at it as quickly as possible. I don't far (1.5 miles) so I walked home. I had only been home a few minutes and the shop called! Unfortunately the sidewall of the tire was damaged. The service rep went over all options. Their was zero pressure to choose one option over the other. I chose to have all 4 tires changed. They were fast, professional and reasonably priced.

I like the honesty I get at Jensen. I Have had many different things done on my truck from full brakes to oils changes. My last visit I was told what it would cost to change my transmission fluid and the price was fair. They stated that my transmission lines were leaking at the fittings and the lines were on backorder from fiat. Jake told me the small leak was nothing to worry about “my type of truck is prone to it” and my fluid levels haven’t even dropped yet. Jake at the desk is very personable, knowledgeable and practices covid guidelines very well to keep his customers safe. I usually schedule ahead of time and arrive early, but you're still looking at about 1 hour for an oil change and tire rotation. I've been using Jensen for years. There have been several times where I've gone in fearing the worst where they could have charged big bucks, only to tell me it was something way simpler and cheaper. I once took in a van with 80k miles for a vibration coming from the back. They could have easily said the rear shocks were messed up (or something similar) and charged me hundreds of dollars, but instead they called and said one of the tires was out of balance and it would cost $30 (or some small number) to get it fixed. I'm sure your friend's friend is cheaper, but I trust these guys for all the jobs I can't do at home.
