Man, not gonna lie. I was scared and a bit skeptical about going here. Seems someone had bump on to my driver side wheel and threw my steering alaingment all off. I know how the mechanic industry is and how they get bad reps. But giving that I needed my car running asap, I had no choice but to trust my car here. I tell you what, I'm glad I did come here, Ralph, Anthony, and John are great and amazing. They were all friendly and made me feel that I was in great hands that they would take care of my car and get me running the same day. Yes, there was a repair that needed to be done, but I'm glad they have financing options available. Ether way you can trust your car at this location there great and will point out what the car needed. Thank you, guys, and the Mechanis you guys did a great job. Will definitely return

Every time I come here, I am greeted by John and Ralph. They have awesome customer service and are very professional. The mechanic, Anthony was very thorough and did the repairs in a timely manner. I know some places will try to rip you off, but NOT here. They are honest in what needs to be done on the car. I have never had an issue and I will continue to bring my Rav4 here. I was just here on Saturday and I always leave satisfied. I would definitely recommend this location for your repairs. I won't even trust the dealership with my brakes but I will trust Midas especially since they offer the lifetime guarantee.

I've been using this Midas for over a year. I admit that they're a little bit pricey, but they are doing great job. They have great communication with customers, they always explain nicely what should be done and give full report. I've done my coolant system there, my bearings, oil change, my breaks and sensor for check engine light. I recommend them especially if you need your car dine same day.

I’ve been having my vehicles serviced at this location for several years now. I don’t have any complaints about the service. I’m always treated respectfully and fairly. John is always honest about service recommendations and lets me decide if I want to get the recommended services at Midas or take it elsewhere. They’re also honest about what services I need to go to the dealership for. The service technicians have always brought me to the shop to show and explain to me any involved services repairs I may need and why but still allow me to make an informed decision. Went today for an oil change and brake flush. John was very polite and helpful. He advised me on what my car needed and expectations. He also vented the office, sprayed with lysol, cleaned the door handle and touched areas with disinfecting wipes. He even brought a chair out for me to sit. And offered to take it back in after 10mins of airing the place. I felt more safe HERE than a hospital! Thank you so much for your guidance on my vehicle and your safety precautions. I'll DEFINITELY be going back again!!

Quick, courteous, and worth every dime. I am the family genealogist, and I went to Newark to look up some headstones of my ancestors. On the way home, as I was about to get onto Garden State Parkway, I hit an enormous pothole and blew the sidewall out of the driver tire in my rental car. Normally this would not be a big deal; I am perfectly capable of changing a tire on my own, provided I can get the tire up off the ground. But the car in question had one of those useless pill jacks and a TINY crank, which wouldn't even reach out from under the car at the closest point of the chassis to the wheel that was also anywhere near the outside part of the frame of the vehicle. I tried valiantly to jack it up, but when you don't have the tools, this isn't going to work. So I ended up having to drive to the nearest tire repair shop. According to my GPS, that was the Midas on Springfield in Irvington (and it was only about 2 miles from where I was). I limped the car along to the shop, praying I wasn't going to bend the rims on the wheel, and pulled in. They were fairly busy and it was close to the end of the working day for them, and I genuinely felt bad about showing up that late, but in this particular case I didn't have much choice. The man at the desk asked me to give them "a few minutes", and I sat down with a book and my knitting, fully expecting that with the number of clients and vehicles that they had ahead of me that I would be there for two hours. Fifteen minutes later, the guy came back, told me they didn't happen to have that size of tire in stock, but they were able to put the spare on for me (which I sincerely appreciated). Now, my family was pretty unhappy when I said I was going to Newark. Granted, it has a fairly high rate of crime. But at NO POINT did I feel like I was in any sort of danger when I was at this shop. Everyone was perfectly courteous to me and seemed genuinely happy to help me. I wasn't able to make it to all the headstones (have you *SEEN* Holy Sepulchre!?!?), so I will certainly be making a return trip to Newark, and if I have any sort of vehicle difficulty, this is the shop I am going to seek out (assuming I have the luxury of choosing). And I feel confident referring my family and friends there too, should they find themselves in the same position.

It’s a good place to get work done on your car.It’s a bit expensive but you’re definitely getting your money’s worth so whatever your priorities are, just consider that. They didn’t have snacks though.
