I had the BEST experience at this business. The staff were so helpful, so happy to be doing their job. It was my first ever oil change. They answered all my questions, they were able to use the oil I brought and I was only charged for their labor. I wish I could remember the technicians name who helped me, he was also a manager his name stared with an "H". He was amazing! I told him I might just stop by when I need a mood boost because their energy was so positive! Thanx Take 5, I will definitely be back.

They treated me so right! The guy, I didn't get his name, took his time to explain to me about the different kinds of oils. They gave me a cold bottle of water and even changed my air filter, which I didn't know it was located under the passenger side dashboard. Anyways it was great experience and I will be returning for my future oil changes

Best service I have ever received! The crew was organized and had very positive attitudes. The service was quick and thorough. They checked my fluids and aired my tires no charge, and they have a top off policy for oil- I can stop by any time and they will check my tires, add fluids, and top off oil if needed. They guided me to choose to best oil for my car and they didn’t try to convince me to get the most expensive type. They even had a treat for my dog! My technician was Miguel, and the manager, Justin, checked to make sure I was happy with my visit and cleaned my windshield for me. I will definitely be back.

The ONLY Take 5 in New Orleans I go to. The line may be long, but they’re lightning fast and friendly. It literally only took 5 minutes once they get started (like it’s supposed to). Don’t waste your time at any other location. This one is IT.

I really enjoy visiting this location, it’s actually the only one I go to. I used to live close, now I live on the other side of town I still come here. The wait can be lengthy sometimes, usually the lanes move at a similar pace so that helps. You don’t have to worry too much about someone getting there after and leaving before. I’m petty, that irritates me so much! 🙃 They just always seem to go the extra mile, they give you cold bottles of water when it’s hot, they provide updates, and are really great at explaining the services and I feel that they’re very honest about what is needed. Everyone I’ve ever encountered was so kind! I would highly recommend! Thank you!

I went to Mossy dealership to get a full diagnostic they performed an oil change. What they didn't do was put the oil pan screw in tight which caused the oil to leak out. I went to Take 5 and they caught the problem immediately and took great care of the issue. I will only go to Take 5 to get my oil changed from now on.

Been searching for a good oil change place in New Orleans and after many people recommended Take 5, I went. They offer you water while you wait and the efficiency of this staff seems a bit out of place for the area! You know, because they are on it! Miguel was my connection there and he was super nice. Got an oil change and at his suggestion, replaced a windshield wiper that I had been meaning to for quite a while now but kept forgetting. His upselling helped him and me! A mundane task that was pretty good in the end!

They didn't have the oil filter for my car in stock, but they checked my oil and added a quart free of charge to make sure I would be safe driving around for the next few days until I could try again to get the oil changed. And got my kids fruit snacks also, which was great too.

If you've lived in New Orleans for a while (or even for a bit) you probably know the service at most places is absolutely abysmal. Not the case here!! The employees are phenomenal - so nice, so prompt, just great. They up sell you a bit, like any business, but they aren't pushy at all. They are QUICK, it's never taken me more than a few minutes. I love that you don't have to get out of your car, and you can watch them do it. I've known multiple people who have had their oil changed elsewhere (NTB - looking at you) and they forgot to properly refill the oil and destroyed the engine. They actually bring the dip stick out and show you that the oil has been filled properly at the end of the service. Also, free water while you wait! Be sure to check online first for coupons, got $7 off my oil change today. SO NICE to finally receive excellent service in New Orleans!

I love that I can drop by any time to get my tire pressure checked and them refilled and I can also get my fluids checked and topped off - for free! My car was in desperate need for an oil change. I saw this place as I was driving and it looked clean, easily accessible and also in the perfect location to finish errands. When I pulled up I was asked what brought me in and also offered a cold bottle of water... which was right on time. The service was prompt, recommendations were given to me concerning my vehicle. I love the employees at this location. They always check everything on my car and fix a lot even if I'm just there for an oil change (because she's really old). They tell me before they change or do anything. They recommend the higher price oil but it's always on sale somehow too. I've never been disappointed and always feel like I'm in such good hands. It's not often I leave from running an errand happier than when I started and this place is an exception. They're the best!

I'm an out of towner who needed an oil change before my 800 mile trip back to East Tennessee. Everyone was super friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. No high pressure sales pitches for unnecessary maintenance, but I DEFINITELY needed my air filters changed and they hooked me up. Tev was my above the hood agent, and he treated me like we'd been besties for life. Everyone was masked and following COVID-19 safety measures. I'm pandemic paranoid and I felt safe throughout my experience. With 2 cars in front of me when I arrived it took about 35 minutes total. Free bottled water upon arrival. Highly recommend to locals and travelers. I got a 50% off coupon on their website which made my high mileage synthetic blend oil change $33 plus tax. What a deal! Thanks y'all!

Always very friendly and professional service. What I like about this place is of course the efficiency, but also the fact That they don’t try to push too much to sell any extras. The filters, wipers etc. are being recommended for replacement only when needed.

The staff and service is inconsistent at best. I had my car serviced there several times and the air pressure has only been checked once. I am constantly trying to be up sold on windshield wipers and engine air filters. One positive is that they are fast. Sometimes i think to fast and i wonder if the job was done properly.

Excellent service! They get give you free water and most time the oil change and the waiting are actually under ten minutes. This is not the cheapest place to get an oil change in town. You pay a little more for convenience and great service but it is worth it.

Went to the shop on South Carrolton... Service was fast and VERY thorough! It was my first time going, but unlike others on here...I was asked and shown every detail about my car. I was shown why they recommended I purchase wipers, I was shown the fresh oil which was just placed in my car, I was told the pressure of my tires and how much they needed to add. I am not sure if this is new protocol the shop may be trying, but keep it up! It made me feel confident that my car was genuinely taken car of.

Fast. Easy. Convenient location. I came here in part because they helped me (free of charge) when my old car overheated nearby last year. It helped that they're open until 8 p.m. The staff was friendly and I was offered a free beverage as soon as I arrived (and offered a refill before I left!). They explained all my oil options (first time changing the oil in the new car), and then explained all of what they did at the end without trying to sell me anything extra. They provided a detailed receipt showing what was done and all the other points checked throughout the car. A quick windshield wash and I was done! A conventional oil change will run you about $37-$40 with of course higher options up to $75. Seems like they regularly have coupons on the website too of you're looking for a discount.

The final outcome to the service of my vehicle was great. However please take note that upon entering the parking lot I was the only vehicle and was summoned to drive into the designated area and then another car drove in after me. The gentleman that instructed both of us instantly went to secondary car and started gathering info Then another worker came to my car about a minute later. I proceeded to watch them prepare second car.... so I asked the man worker who was assigned my car is it a standard procedure to take cars in order. He said yes and then I informed him I came before the other vehicle but could not understand why the gentleman who appointed me a parking spot went to the second vehicle first. All though I have my theory about this but I will not dignify or acknowledge his oblivious actions. Once acknowledged by the guy designated to handle my car, he notified the guys preparing to attend to the other car to take care of me first. I don’t mean to sound petty but it was so blatant of an act.
