There are a lot cars to pick from and an online listing of what they have and its location. Im sure Katrina wiped them out in 2005, so there aren't many older cars. They have a diverse staff which I'd bet speak Spanish and Vietnamese (there are large communities of both in this area). The prices are good and many have standard prices for nonspecific stuff like hoods, engines, transmission doors...

I definitely must give credit where credit is due. I visited the boulevard today in New Orleans. I drove from Baton Rouge for a specific vehicle. Unfortunately the part that I needed off of the vehicle was damaged. I returned empty-handed, without my part, but was incredibly impressed by their employees. Jessica, Lexi, and I believe his name is Ken went way above the call of duty and totally exceeded my expectations. Jessica gave me her personal phone number just in case I was notified that another vehicle that matches my needs were to come in, that way I would not have to drive all the way to New Orleans again to just be disappointed. Lexi search their inventory to try to help me find another vehicle that might possibly have the part I needed. Can pulled up the year make and model of my vehicle, and informed me of every make sure that Lexus Mitch that I could find the parts I needed. I have a Lexus RX 330, and he informed me that the same parts could also be found on the 2007-2009 Lexus RX 350 or the 2007 through 2009 Lexus 400H. I left there with so much more information than I came in with and these three employees completely exceeded my expectations with gigantic smiles on their faces the whole time. Thank you so much guys for your excellent service. You turned what could’ve been a bad experience into an amazing experience!

Had forgotten this place existed. I've been climbing in and out of my passengers side door for months. Was frustrated pricing parts online and just wrote 'a part' inyo the search engine and it was kind enough to remind me a little elbow grease and luck and now I'm headed home to fix this once and for all without spending a fortune. When I got here I was greeted by the very professional Jesse(I hope I spelled that right). She was very professional(and pretty), and she signed me up for the Pull-a-Part VIP club account in no time at all. Called Pull-A-Part to come get my 2007 Ford Fusion that has been sitting outside for 6 months. They showed up so fast and I was so surprised with how much money I got for the car. All around a great experience. I would definitely recommend them if anyone has a junk car that they need picked up. I think the guy said his name was Chucho (not sure if that's spelled right). It's nice to go into the yard looking for the parts needed but it's quite disappointing to see that half of the employees see you as a burden not as a customer. I do online shopping for a living and I care about any customer wanting to collect their items (and I stay minutes after closing with good disposition) Today I arrived at 4:43 pm and as I'm about to enter the building a guy yells at me "we close at 5" (until recently they were open till 5:30 pm). Inside the property, as soon as I found my car being 4:48 pm , the burglar alarm went off and also a police-like siren which made the area very inhospitable for my daughter and myself We headed out at 4:55 pm so minutes before closing time... Ironically, I have been telling some of my customers at work about Pull a part recommending that place to them Ouch

Ok I'm serious when I say pull apart is my most visited places I shop at when trying to find the right parts for my cars, can't nobody beat their prices, mater of fact, I'm headed there now to find my parts, yes you heard me, in route now on a holiday😎 cashier Griselda AkA Gi-Gi has been there for years and I see why, always helping her customers with a smile and very knowledgeable with that type of business, which is important. Pretty cool place. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The cars were organized by manufacturer, which was really helpful. I walked in and asked the first employee I saw how the place works and she was very helpful in describing it to me. I was able to print out a sheet that told me what isle the cars I was looking for were on. It took me a few minutes to figure out how the yard was laid out, but I found the cars in a matter of about 5-10 minutes. I took my tools and disassembled the part I needed, took it up to the counter and paid. The whole visit took about a hour and cost me about $15, it was a dealer only part that would've ran about $90. You can't beat that! I will be returning to Pull A Part in the future for hard to find parts. My only gripes would be that the cars frames were resting on top of 4 car rims being used like jack stands. That made me a little nervous but upon closer inspection it looked to be spot welded. I still wouldn't get under one of them without jack stands. Last, I wish they would've had more late model cars, but I'm sure that's hit or miss depending on when you visit.

I've heard about Pull-a-part auto yard several times from close friend and other police officer. I was online at othet auto sites trying to buy parts for my truck and found the prices to be very highh. So I drove to pull-a-part and found everything I was going to buy from other places and both employees l had the chance to meet was very, very helpful, Gigi and Daniela. Was quite happy with the service and bing my first trip was truly amazed at the amount of inventory they had. My only suggestion to them, and to anyone going here, Research your part before heading out. I was told that they didnt have the door handle I was looking for but when I went out looking for another part they did have I found the first one on a different vehicle. The part was interchangeable between the two trucks. After coming home I found that they did have several vehicles that might have had parts for my truck. Ill know to look now before going but still was able to find what I needed. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars was that the computer system should have know that these were interchangeable.
