This was my first visit to your establishment. I had read many favorable reviews about Honest-1, so I thought I would try you out. My first impression walking in was how clean and dignified the waiting room area was. The service was great. I have not driven the car much since the work was done, but I feel confident that the service was very good. I also enjoy that you send out texts/emails on the progress of the vehicle during its time in the shop, so I can adjust my schedule to when the vehicle will be done. Thank you.

Huge Thank You! I have been bringing my car into Honest 1 auto care for years. I have always had great service. This time with regular maintenance check I needed a little extra as The thermostat on my vehicle went out a few weeks ago. My schedule did not allow me to get it in to be fixed as quickly as I would’ve liked. I so appreciate honest 1 for working me in. I can put my boots back in the trunk! Everytime I come here I have such an amazing experience. Patrick and Brandon are always so personable and remember little tidbits about me that make my experience second to none. Feels like a mom and pop shop. My car always has wonderful repairs, so you know everyone working in the shop is passionate about their work. Honest 1 was exactly what their title says…honest. They were reliable and trustworthy with their diagnostics on my vehicle. It was complicated and lengthy but they gave me detailed and understandable daily updates. It was much easier to make repair decisions with those detailed updates. I bought a used car a couple of weeks ago, and needless to say the dealership definitely did not look at my car before they sold it to me. So I decided to go with this highly recommended establishment. 100% Professionalism and kindness from start to finish. Had oil changed for the 3rd time. Always a great service for the price because multi-point inspection of vehicle is included with oil change. Really appreciate the photos they take of all parts that have issues and these photos are included in the inspection report that is sent to my mobile device.

I just moved here from Montana and started a new job, unfortunately my car was having issues and was undrivable, I also do Uber on the side so my vehicle is important. Honest1 took great care of me, they helped me with a ride home after dropping it off and also a loaner vehicle so I could get to work. They worked on my vehicle warranty and got the repairs approved for me with a 100$ deductible . What a great group of people I never ever wrote a review in my life but I had to . A plus service 5 star thanks guys.

Had a car breakdown..we were out of towners. Called them and they got us in right away! Even picked us up in a loaner and let us use it until our van had a final destination. And so friendly and genuine! Would recommend to anyone!

Clean, socially distanced, everybody at the front desk wore their masks. They are always very efficient & friendly. Feels like an inclusive atmosphere where I feel safe & confident waiting inside by myself. Brandon at the front counter works so hard and consistently goes above and beyond. I was also pleasantly surprised I wasn’t pressured with an elaborate sales tactic to do any upgrading on my simple oil change appointment. As a sales person myself, it felt very organic & I really appreciated the recommendation (since my oil change WAS a few miles overdue 😂). All in all, I’d choose this location every time for my oil changes & other suggestions because they ARE truly honest 😊

Bought a pre-owned car for my daughter and wanted to get it checked out. Gene did a thorough inspection and evaluation of all major systems. Brandon was incredible at communicating the issues and how best to prioritize which needed to be fixed right away and what could wait. They sent a report with detailed pictures of what was worn/broken/ in need of replacement. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The inspections that are provided show recommended service, but I've never been pressured to have additional work done; and I love that they break down recommendations based on urgency. When I needed to get in on short notice before an unexpected trip out of town, they helped me get squared away in time. This shop sets a high bar for service, which is why it is the only place I take my vehicles.

I wasn’t sure what happened to my tire and I called them and told them the situation, they have me to stop by as soon as possible to help me to check it! And found out that there’s a nail stuck in my tire. They asked me where I got my tire and let me know some very useful information that I didn’t know. Have me to reach out to them to see if there’s any road hazard before I decide to see if I want to spend the money to fix it. But also let me know they can help me if I could drop the car there. Honest1 is great, customer service is awesome and they don’t let make me feel that they just want to get money out of me.

I Called yesterday to see if i can have them check my car out and today they had a open spot at 1pm so i swinged by and the staff was so amazing! They did a quick run through with my car and told me what has to be fixed and the totals. They even offered me a lyft back to work meanwhile they fix my car. The best part is that they fixed my car in less than 3 hours after i dropped off! Highly recommend this shop!

Man oh man are these guys awesome. If you’re comparing auto shops, your search stops here. 11/10 recommend. I own a older car so l’ve been in and out of many shops. These guys are hands down the best place I’ve ever brought my car. The level of professionalism and transparency is top tier. In ONE DAY they were able to repair my front axle, inner and outer tire rod ends, order and replace my tires, AND take care of some minor tech issues. Pricing was VERY fair and Patrick offered sincere advice. The only shop I’ll bring my car to now. They’ll see me soon to get some final items taken care of. Well done.

I came across this shop by chance when looking to get an oil change done! It’s a little drive from my house & there are closer Honest1’s to my location, but I’ll still continue to go here because I feel comfortable & the staff is great/friendly! I enjoy the text updates about my vehicle & what inspection results they feel you should take care of soon as well as which ones were good. Very in depth! And the gentleman always help with more information if you need. I also stopped for a tire rotation, I originally picked an appt at 1 but called and asked if the earlier one was available. It was taken unfortunately but they still allowed me to stop in quick. It took less than a half hour & it was complimentary! While the previous time I went to the dealership where I bought the car for a rotation & I waited for over an hour and it was like $40..

I went in this time with a different vehicle, expecting to pay quite a bit to get several different things done. After they completed the inspection, they gave me a direct, no bs assessment of the car, what needed to be done, and asked if I really wanted to put that much into this older vehicle. They could have pushed and told me to complete the work, but choose integrity and saved me money. This is professionalism and why I will be returning as a customer!

Made an appointment online the day before, was super easy and convenient. Dropped my car off, received a very, very detailed report including photos and videos of the inspection they did with my oil change. I was very impressed with that! I went in for an oil change and wheel alignment, unfortunately I could only get the oil change until I fix my tye rods, but I definitely plan to go back for that wheel alignment. I had a serous electrical issue with my 10 year old vehicle. The wiring harness was shot and when they checked with Acura for the part found that it was backordered - and I was number 671 on the list!! Faced with the prospect of a vehicle I could not drive for weeks or months, the great folks at Honest One West rewired 25 wires from scratch and made the right connnections to get my vehicle working properly again. It is so nice to have a shop that is convenient, trustworthy and does not pressure me to do "extra" work. They really went above and beyond on this one and I am very appreciative.

Guy with beard is great. This is the only place I now bring my truck (until it isn't) *edit which I guess is now. I really like the car report card with photos. They actually tell me stuff that can wait and told me my back brakes were great while another mechanic in a private shop said I'd need them replaced real soon. My in cabin heater issue hasn't been resolved after 3 visits. I believe it is the truck fault not Honest one's. But it does seem to perform worse each time I leave. I'm going to get a 2nd opinion and try my luck at Walsteds. Edit. I did bring my truck to Walstads. Walstads insist my heater core was never flushed and the hoses have never ever been off. Honest one said they did flush the heater core. Last 2 of 2 oil changes. or 100% of the time I've had oil drips on my garage floor the day following.

I had a blown out fuse which affected my shift stick and brake lights. I asked for that to be repair and to also fix the wiring on the back license plate with a light bulb that was hanging down. The fuse was fixed, but not the wiring. I didn’t notice it until I got back home. It would be nice if the employees smiled and engaged in conversation their customers.

I have gone to Honest1 Auto care for all my auto needs . ( I have a 2004 Cadillac srx) that has had a lot of problems . It a 2004 so I guess it is expected. But everything i have ever had done it at Honest 1 has been top quality. And they have always taken great care of me and have fixed things that I didn't even know about. The front end did a good job provided a loaner and kept me up to date on repair. Prices seemed high, but the work needed to be done. I was extremely disappointed when a day later my low engine coolant light came on and it didn't look like any was added and that was the reason the car was brought there. My daughter needed repairs done, but didn't know what the problems were. They ran a diagnostic check and informed us within 24 hours what the problems were and emailed a copy of the estimate for us to review and decide on what we needed to get done. I had a second opinion (free, no charge) done on my brakes and my brakes were fine. They didn't need replacing. My car has 57k miles. The day before a well known car dealership said my brakes were shot, and I needed new pads and rotors at a cost of $550 per axle. They said the rotors were rusted and couldn't be saved. I was looking at an $1,100 repair bill. That's alot of money for a senior citizen on social security. A huge THANK YOU to Honest-1 auto care in Eagan. They saved me from paying for a repair I didn't need. They more than lived up to their name. I will definitely go back when I have a real repair. The pics they said of my car during repair are great, but the technician selected the wrong value for the text that accompanies the picture in the canned form they use. Not a problem. I called and they explained to me what happened and fixed the error. I am definitely going back because these folks care about their customers and take pride in their work. I have been to other shops that felt like Luke warm about. This shop however gets a solid recommendation from me.

I called in to get my hood looked at because it wasn't latching properly. They took a look at it and it was an easy fix. One of my tires needed aor and they filled that because they noticed it. I didn't even ask. I went home and my step daughter's car battery was dead. I drove it to them after I jump started it. They took care of the battery right away at a great price. Brandon was professional and so was the mechanic. I didn't catch his name but he was great as well. I will go back here when I need to service my cars. The service they provided was exceptional.

I came in with the impression my heater core and or radiator needed to be replaced because my heat was not coming out. A full diagnosis was made which was awesome because this is the first shop that sent a full report with top priorities on what needs to be replaced as well as full descriptions with PICTURES AND VIDEOS! I’ve never seen any shop do this which gained a lot of trust. They suggested the HVAC system needed to be replaced and actuator instead of the heater core or radiator (proved the other shops wrong). As well as top priority in the driver side ball joint. After this all my problems with my car went away. Heat came back and suspension feels so much better. I even had an alignment done here because their price was the best around! This is the first shop I feel I can fully trust and will continue doing future business with. Also thank you for all the LYFT rides and loaner cars that were provided. Helped a lot since my job consist of a lot of driving. Thanks for everything, you guys rock!!!

Honest 1 of Eagan was very impressive, first off the waiting area is clean and welcoming. The staff were quick to get every question answered in a matter that is easily understood. I had my engine light come on and the inspection was very impressive and thorough. I got detailed information regarding that inspection in writing via text link including pictures and explanation of why it could wait or why it's critical. They fixed my leaks, but missed one in the top of the radiator, so replaced it at no cost due to their warranty on their work. All in all it was the best experience I have ever had when it comes to expensive repairs. I'd recommend them to anyone. A big shout out to Brandon and the staff at Honest 1 in Eagan.

Every time I bring my car to Honest-1 Auto Care I am well taken care of. They provide a Lyft or a loaner car so that I do not have to try to coordinate transportation. Brandon always takes the time to explain what services are needed based on priority, the cost, and how long it will take to do the repairs. I really like the status reports that are sent via text and email. I have been going to Honest-1 Auto Care since they have been in the area and I have NEVER had a bad experience. It is not fun to have car problems but they make it easy and less stressful.

We were traveling to the twin cities to watch for some baseball games. My vehicle had a significant issue with power steering. I checked the area where we were staying and found you business to be highly rated and reccomended for auto repairs. I took my vehicle to them first thing the following morning and explained my unfortunate circumstances. James and the gang jumped right on it unfortunately the diagnosis wasn't great, major issues, but they could get it done by the following day, even though I could tell they were neck deep in other work needing completed. But that they did, I was able to pick my car up the following afternoon, the repair was less then the original estimate. Nice place, good courteous staff, I reccomend them.

What I like about this place is that they are very customer service oriented. The people at their front desk's are cheerful, knowledgeable, and helpful. As a single woman I appreciated the time that Brandon took to sit down with me and explain what was going on with my car and what was going on during the repair. They quoted me and then matched a competitor's quote even though my car was dead and stuck at their shop. They had no reason to believe I could take my car to another shop, so matching a competitor's price was above and beyond. They communicated via text and provided updates when anything was done on my car. I appreciated being able to see all of the information in a timely fashion. After I picked my car up, they called me to come back because one of the technicians forgot to do something. I appreciated this because it's way better to be safe than sorry. Great experiences over the last few visits. Great prices. They stood behind their work. Easy/open communication. Flexible hours. I have not had a better experience with any other garage. They suggested putting a new/rebuilt transmission into my car to fix an ongoing clunking problem (which it eventually did). I called around for a quote before allowing them to continue and was not able to find anyone lower in price. The initial rebuilt transmission they put in failed within a week. It was a part failure, not labor related. No “New” transmissions are available for my 1999 car so a poorly rebuilt transmission from their supplier was a known risk. Parts, Labor, Rental Car, Oil change, Tire rotation were covered. It was relatively low-hassle while the second transmission was being put in. They have also provided additional (a lot) diagnostic time at no-cost for me since that visit for other car issues.

Honest-1 is the only repair shop I've gone to that hasn't patronized me or assumed I'm incapable of understanding my own vehicle. They have always done great work and they get it done pretty quick. I love that they take the time to show me what they see and explain in detail what it means and what they need to do, and they have never done work without my approval like other shops have done. Before finding them I would either do my own repairs or just find the cheapest option, but they have so thoroughly impressed me that they are the only place I'll take my car now.

I had an appointment to change my power steering pump. They did an inspection before we got started and found that I also needed hoses and a rack and piston. They were open about the process and were even able to send pictures of the inspection to my phone. Not only that but they actually let me walk under the vehicle and they showed me the issues they found that weren't related to the power steering. I'm amazed that an inspection of this level was no cost to me and that they were so detailed with it. Brandon at the front was very knowledgeable and professional. The only down fall is that they are pricier than other mechanic shops ive been to. I ended up going with another place for about half the price. However ,I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a professional auto shop.

I know you're not suppose to trust someone who says, trust me or, I'm honest, but Honest-1 dispelled that myth. I had a brake lined replaced by their vw mechanic. The new brake line ended up being bad so I brought my car back in. Shaun, the manager, immediately brought my car in to have it looked at, they decided that it was indeed a faulty hose and ordered a new one. The owner personally gave me a ride home and apologized for my inconvenience. They replaced the brake line again and dropped my car off at my house so I wouldn't be inconvenienced again. All of that at no additional charge. This was my first experience with this honest one. It was great service. I definitely found my new mechanic. Last month I noticed water leaking under my daughter's car. At first I thought it was just condensation from her running the air conditioner. Upon further inspection, A warning light came on in the car, not knowing what it meant, I called Honest 1 with my concerns. Let me tell you, I will be bringing my car in to this shop from now on out. It is not too far from my house so I decided to give them a go. Huge Thank You to Rob & the crew at Honest 1!!!! This past summer we put a new washer pump in our daughter's car. My daughter tells me that it stopped working. I didn't know if she meant it had quit or if the washer fluid reservoir was empty. I immediately called Rob at Honest 1 and asked him if he could research the vehicle and let me know if the pump was under warranty. He got back to me right away, told me that yes it was under warranty and to bring the vehicle in and let them see what the problem was. They got her vehicle in and found that the reservoir was empty! They filled it full of washer fluid, made sure it worked, checked the air in her tires and gave her a complimentary car wash! She was on her way within minutes! Incredible service! I had an issue with an extended crank where previous shops wouldn't touch the car until they heard it (which sounded just like a normal startup but longer). This was a problem since the car only did it on a cold startup - where it had to be shut off for hours, and even then wasn't consistent. This Honest-1 location went right to work diagnosing the most common offender, a problematic fuel pump, and got right to it. They were also straightforward that a rust issue could have caused something to break off and cause more work. Fortunately, this didn't happen, but I was happy that I would have had a heads up in case it did. Their work has been solid and my car problems minimal.

I scheduled an appointment online, and then had someone call to confirm my appointment and what services I would need completed at that time. He even asked how to pronounce my name! I was able to wait in the clean comfy waiting area. They even have excellent WiFi service while you wait! Had to bring my problematic pontiac in because now my power steering was leaking really bad along with the Coolant. It was getting so bad that it was finally time to bring it in. It's very frustrating and stressful not having heat in my car 50% of the time, especially in the winter. Tom is the one that really helped me out, I told him I was very tight on money because I'm going on a trip soon this February, so he helped me decide what they could fix that would work within my budget. They fixed my power steering and most of the major issues, all under my budget. All I have is one more big thing to fix but it's not a huge concern at that moment but I'll definitely bring it back in once I have enough. I had a brake problem that required immediate attention and this place did an excellent job of getting it repaired and at a very fair price. Throughout the process the communication was second to none. I was being kept in the loop about what was happening and possible causes and needed repairs. At no point did I feel they were trying to upsell me on unnecessary components or repairs. Additionally, they offered me a ride home instead of having to call someone. First of all, they have great customer service and I always have full synthetic oil change and they have a great deal for that. They also inspect your vehicle for any further problems (21 point inspection). Right now, I am in eden prairie but i am planning to drive to eagen for an oil change at their location.

I truly enjoyed our first visit to Honest 1 Auto Care. My family and I just moved here and we were terrified to have issues with our car and not knowing anyone here or much about the town. We called 5 numbers off Google. Honest 1 was number 5. They were quick and efficient. Brandon answered right away and said bring it in and we will get you in and out. And he honestly did. I shared concerns I had about being taken advantage of by other repair shops and he reassured me that they were honest ppl ( hence the name lol). Our family got in our cars to drop of the car. We signed in on the iPad and dropped off the keys. I was so surprised to receive photos and a description via text and email by the time we arrived home. The inspection was done they found many issues but I truly appreciated how they rated each problem by what was needed now and what could wait. We approved them to start working on the car and went to the local children's museum by the time we got inside the museum the car was done. This was mind blowing everyone else I called were requesting to keep our car for a week and it was like Honest 1 fixed it in mere minutes....seconds! We will be back to get every thing recommended on the list. Our other car needs work to and although we are not financially ready to fix the issues I am very curious about the inspection invoice because I thought todays repairs would cost us a fortunate and to my surprise it didn't cost too much. I am excited about our experience and we will be back. It was like Uber Eats for Cars :)

My breaks were so rusted that they litterally fell off my Tahoe in their shop they were so wonderful and cared about my safety over price tags! But more importantly, recently, I just went to valvoline in which apparently a bad oil filter was installed and within the next 5 miles my engine was covered in oil car was smoking it was telling me to turn off engine. I was not happy! After valvoline fixed and replaced it. I got an engine wash at Paradise. But then... I came here back to HONEST auto, and they were just that above and beyond! They looked over my car to make sure that no more damage was caused. They answered some questions for me and made sure my car was safe for me and my children! They truly made me feel confident that I was able to drive my car again. Great team, truly honest, and truly cares about cars being safe!

On Thursday afternoon, January 26, my wife had no power steering when she came home. She had to muscle the steering wheel to drive her van. I had limited time because I work the afternoon shift but I was able to add all the power steering fluid I had on hand and the steering worked fine...at least I thought. The next morning, my wife had no power steering again. She woke me up at 7:00 am, which was early for me since I get to bed around 2 am, because she needed a ride to work. On the way to her job, she suggested I try Honest1 Auto Care because they are just down the street from our house and the repair shop we have used for the last 20 plus years is at least 3 weeks out on their schedule. After taking my wife to work, I went to the auto parts store to pick up more power steering fluid because, no matter what I did, I would need to drive the van somewhere. Before going home, I went to Honest1 Auto Care to talk with them about our situation. Even though they initially indicated that they were about a week out, they asked if I could bring the van in for them to look at it. They were going to fit it in! I drove home, put power steering fluid in the van and immediately drove back. They called an Uber to drive me home...and they paid for it! I needed to pick my wife up from work around 12:45. At some point well before noon, I called Honest1 to see what they had found. I was prepared for the worst. Our van is a 2005 model with over 226,000 miles. They had found that the power steering high pressure hose had disconnected from the pump. They reattached the hose and were cleaning up the power steering fluid that had gotten all over everything. Also, they were letting it run to make sure this fixed the problem. Before leaving the house to pick up my wife, I called Honest1 to see if the van was ready. It was, and the total cost was $101.68. I was so happy! When I took my wife to work that morning, my "ox was in the ditch" so to speak. Not only did they get my ox out of the ditch, but they did it at, what I considered, a very inexpensive cost. I was truly blessed and thankful! From my initial contact with Honest1, I worked with Brandon. He was very understanding and extremely helpful throughout the process. I was impressed by how clean and organized the place was. I was especially impressed by the layout of the work area. It appeared that it would maximize efficiences. Given the success I had with this experience, I plan to take my vehicles to them in the future when they need repair.
