I talked with Josh the most, but everyone here was outstanding--very friendly and down-to-earth people. Check-in and pick-up was seamless. The e-mails/texts updates with the details and photos of issues was helpful, informative, and appreciated. In both interactions (check-in and pick-up), the employees were courteous and welcoming. Great place! Come check them out for your auto needs.

I’m not sure who worked on my car, but I talked with Nick on the phone. I am very happy with our experience there. My previous mechanic wrote us an estimate for a “necessary and immediate” work, that would be almost 3k. My husband didn’t see any indication of those things for over 10 months, so we wanted to get a second opinion. They said that none of these things needed to be done, and we ended up paying only $200 for an oil change and brake fluid flush (corrosion). They could have easily said that it all needed to be done and we would have payed for it. They posted pictures of everything they found and were very transparent. It is almost an hour drive for us, but we definitely will be bringing our cars to Christian Brothers in Lakeville from now on! Thank you for making me feel safe and gaining my trust!

Every interaction I have had- whether making an appointment by phone, receiving text message updates, using the shuttle service or dropping off/picking up my vehicle- has been a positive experience. Christian Brothers Auto is not necessarily the cheapest place to use but I would choose to pay more for the friendliness, comfortability and ease of mind they provide any day of the week. Christian Brothers is the most trustworthy place around. The staff is amazing and always seem to go above and beyond. They treat their customers like family. I never feel pressured to have work done - and they're great about letting us know the things that are urgent and those things that can wait. As a female, who doesn't know a lot about cars, I feel comfortable with their recommendation on what work should be done. I never feel like I'm going to be forced into unneccesary work. First time trying this automotive place and I was highly satisfied! They took in my car, I left and when they finished the inspection I got a link texted to me that brought me to a website that told me all that they checked and the importance of what should be fixed to what was less of an issue. Each item also had a video I could watch that told me what the part was they were going to fix and the importance of it. Not knowing much about cars seeing the videos really helped my understanding of why it needed to be fixed. Super friendly people they really made me feel like I was a long time customer!

Christian Brothers has been amazing! We bought a used car and it has been nothing but a nightmare however they always helped us any way they could. That car is now scrapped but they continued to assist us with getting rid of it, taking a little stress of the situation! The staff is always friendly and pays attention to detail which is great because when I need something explained they know exactly what they’re doing. Beyond grateful for them.

6/2/2022 I have since brought my car back in and advised them on the issues since I last had it in their shop. They seemed genuinely concerned and checked the car out again at no cost and provided a loaner. They did make a couple of finds that appear to have mostly taken care of the issue I was having. Although it was a bit of a struggle to get to this point, they did stand behind their work and again, did seem that they really wanted to do the right thing. Hoping that future visits here will go more smoothly. 5/26/2022 Original review was wrong. My repair was not done correctly. Just had this shops repair corrected elsewhere. Will bring it back to show them and give them a chance to provide comment. Will update if they can offer reason or solution but for now this repair visit here was a total face plant!! Nice people but very poor communication. Dropped my vehicle off for a repair on Friday. Service advisor informed me they would likely have it completed by EOD. I understood however that this was not a guarantee. Never heard anything all day from them. My wife called at 4:00pm and they advised they would check status and get back to her. They never called either of us back. My car ended up sitting there all weekend as they are not open on the weekends. Called them Monday as soon as they opened and talked to service advisor "Jim". He was very polite and apologized for the lack of communication. He called me back an hour later and advised the car was being finished and that he would call me back shortly when the shuttle was available to pick me up. After 2 hours passed, I decided just to walk to the place to get my car. They advised when I arrived that "they had tried to call me to tell me that they could pick me up but the line just rang through". ??? I had no missed calls and when I verified my number with them, they had my correct #. Incredibly poor communication that messed my weekend and Monday up without a vehicle. This is a very clean shop with nice people that appear to be quite professional. . Near as I can tell, my repair was completed correctly. This is why I am giving 3 stars rather than blasting them and leaving 1 star. Appears others may have good luck here but I certainly did not. Be sure and discuss communication with them and get follow up expectations settled before using their services would be my advice.

I had an issue with a bracket hanging down underneath my car. Christian Brothers Automotive is very close so we ran up there 2 hours before they closed without an appointment. They came outside We explained our issues and he looked at it and got a tech to pull it in the shop. We went inside to nice waiting room and were offered a beverage of choice. We exchanged info and in a few minutes had pictures of the issue and a plan to fix . We were in and out well under an hour and with a reasonable price. Will be back as well as We Highly Recommend to others.

My experience is always exceptional when I've taken my car to Christian Brothers. It is a very welcoming place, an explanation if what will be done is always part of the process, as well as an approximate charge for the service. When the service was going to be more than an hour, there is someone to take me home and then call when the work is finished and they are ready to pick me up and take me back to the facility. They take time to explain what has been done. The staff is very friendly, competent, professional. I would highly recommend Christian Brothers.

I could have written this review praising Christian Brothers Automotive Lakeville after any of our previous service appointments. However, today (Friday) I felt they went above and beyond the excellent service we'd previously had. Thursday afternoon as the temperatures were dropping and the snow was falling, the blower motor and resistor on our 2010 Mercury Milan Hybrid decided to quit working. I called CBA at 5:50pm Thursday and spoke with Nick Hebert. He told me they were completely booked on Friday, but they would work us in because we needed heat! They diagnosed the problem very quickly, sent their own driver to Ford to get the parts instead of waiting for delivery and by 1:15 pm the car was repaired and ready to be picked up. Fantastic! Then as the car was being brought to the door, Nick noticed the front tire looked low, so they checked all 4 tires and added air. How many repair shops would have even noticed?? Great work and thanks for caring so much about your customers...ALWAYS!

I had a great first-time time experience here. My car started running poorly and needed a significant amount of work. I got a thorough report of everything that would probably need replacing. My estimate ended up being more than the final cost because they told me that not everything needed replacing and one part was actually cheaper than what the quote said. Fast forward weeks later, and I have another (unrelated) issue. Jim remembered me from before and waived the diagnostic fee. I was shuttled by Jennifer to pick up my car and she was so nice (along with everyone else I've come into contact with here). I always appreciate the soda/water offer for the road when I pick up. The shuttle service is super convenient, especially since I don't always have a ride otherwise. Highly recommend!

I moved from north Metro to Lakeville in the last year, so I "lost" the family-owned automotive place I had gone to for the last 15 years and I was very concerned about being treated fairly and honestly. When my older car needed some work done, I researched and found CBA to be highly recommended. The reviews were 100% correct. The technician (Brandon) did a full diagnostic of the car, and then walked me through what should be prioritized as I knew I couldn't get it all done in a single go. They also send you this super nifty breakdown via email and text of EVERYTHING, including estimated cost, WHICH is pretty awesome.Brandon was kind. professional, and extremely patient with my questions. From the front desk staff (Nick) to the gentleman who brought me my car (I didn't get his name, mea culpa) I felt like a guest in someone's home, rather than a customer at an auto repair shop. Highly Recommend. Top notch customer service and fair prices. No wonder why they're always busy. :)

My Christian Brothers Experience was fantastic. I walked in to set up an appointment and they told me they were booked for a few days but that if I wanted to drop my car off the next morning for a few hours window (7-notn), they would get my oil changed in between their scheduled appointments within my drop off window. I decided to go without the drop off option. I get there' right away in the morning and they tell me they could get my car done right then and there if I wanted since they had a bit of time. Awesome surprise. They offer to give me a ride home and pick me up when my vehicle was ready. I decided to just stay and wait. They offered me coffee, and drinks while I waited. They were done with my car in 45 minutes. They give you a fully detailed workup of your car and what needs to be done. They include pictures of their work as well. What a great idea. I will be taking our vehicles to them from now on. The staff were super friendly as well. What a great experience.

Wow, wow, wow! From the second I pulled into the parking lot till I left, everything was professional, organized, and a incredible experience. Upon pulling in, I got greeted by a employee who was doing something in the parking lot. When I walked in, I got greeted by friendly faces in a clean, welcoming lobby. They even offered to drive me to the nearby coffee shop when I said I was heading there. They communicated clearly and when I got the run down on my vehicle, he shared the details without trying to sell anything or push services. The pictures and full vehicle report they send is incredible and thoroughly done. Couldn’t ask for more. The oil change program, buy three get one free is a amazing bonus. We have had many positive experiences at Christian Bros. Automotive. Their customer service is great. I love the clean and comfortable waiting area, the courtesy shuttle for those bigger repairs that take longer, and the convenience of scheduling online. During a larger repair I was shown pictures and given a very clear explanation of what needed to be done. They communicated with me directly about timing and gave updates when necessary. Costs were clearly outlined and competitive. I cannot recommend this place more highly!

We had brought our vehicle in for air conditioning issues. Within 2 hours they found a cracked AC hose cost around $500 to fix. Unfortunately that wasn't the only issue. They also determined after fixing the hose and testing that the AC Compressor itself had to be replaced. Nick, our service advisor was able to get it repaired at a reasonable cost that fit in our budget. Kudos to Nick and the entire Christian Brothers team!

Super impressed by the service. I called them up at 7:30am with a screw in my tire and was wondering if they had an opening to get it fixed. They advised that they didn't have openings, but I could leave it with them for a few hours and they could fix in between jobs. They advised that they had a shuttle service that was available if I could drop off. I dropped vehicle off my 8am, by 10:30am my tire was fixed and they were had a person that could pick me up. By 11am I had my vehicle back at home. I definitely will be going back to them for service, they were impressive!

They made everything super easy, which is great because I have a lot of kids and it’s tough to take all of them with me places. It was nice that Jennifer was able to drive with me to my house so I didn’t have to take my car seats out of my van (and definitely nice that she dropped my van back off when it was finished)! Needed a fix for a leaking tire asap and decided to try Christian Brothers Automotive, as our regular mechanic wasn't available. We couldn't have been more pleased! Friendly and welcoming, even when we had two little ones with us. Comfortable waiting area with items to entertain the kids, and we were updated on our car frequently while waiting. They took great care of us and our vehicle. Truly excellent service, we will definitely be back!

I would highly recommend Christian Brothers Automotive because of their friendliness and customer ethics. They took the time to patiently explain to me each mechanical issue my vehicle was having. They also have a nifty program where they take photos of the vehicle's issues & text you a link to those pictures! They helped me to prioritize the things that needed fixed right away & which things could wait to be fixed. I'm also impressed with the involvement they appear to have in the community & charitable organizations! They are doing a Toys For Tots toy collection where they give you a discount if you bring in a new toy. They also contribute gift certificates for silent auctions to places such as Amnion Crisis Pregnancy Center; this is how I initially began bringing my vehicle there in addition to my neighbors who recommended Christian Brothers Automotive. I'm very impressed with their work, friendliness & professionalism, & I would highly recommend anyone to check them out!

Christian Brothers Automative recently opened up near my home (~1 year ago) and I've always been inclined to try them out. The staff was extremely friendly from the time I scheduled my appointment, to when I picked up my car after service. I had heard wonderful things about Christian Brothers Auto - and now I had a chance by recommendation from fellow friends to try them. They treated me as if I was their favorite customer and with such kindness and concern. They were wonderful, and did not do what so many other auto repair shops do which is charge you for things you do not need. They only did what was needed and very reasonably I might add - no hidden costs whatsoever. They were really concerned about my safety. I had to take a bus from downtown Minneapolis where I live to pick up my car the next day and they met me at the bus transit in apple valley with their courtesy shuttle, and brought me to my car. They are such a blessing - they are all so kind (not to mention the dish of individual chocolates they offer their customers!) And when I picked up my car, they had a fresh bottle of cold Ice Mountain spring water waiting for me in my car - with a personal note thanking me for trusting them with my car. I know that I have found my personal mechanics for any vehicles that I have. I had brought my car in once before to get an estimate to fix the handle on my trunk the same day as getting two other estimates that were between $190 and $275. Christian Brothers sprayed the handle with lubricant (FREE of charge) and it’s worked fine ever since. That sold me on an honest automotive shop! I definitely will use them again.

Christian Brothers is the best repair shop in the Midwest!!!! I was traveling from Fargo, ND to Red Wing, MN to visit my family and encountered some major problems with my van. I had my van towed to them after being recommended by AAA and it ended up being the best experience I have ever had at a repair shop. This morning, my power steering on my car went out. I did some googling and read a ton of reviews and decided to bring it to Christian Brothers Automotive. I’m usually pretty skeptical of mechanics shops cause they’ve lied to me, repeatedly, and tried to get way more money out of me than my car actually needs. Walking in as a single woman, I’m always nervous that I’m going to get talked into spending a fortune. These guys were not like that, at all! They found a used part and quoted me around $700 to fix it. The owner gave me a ride home and saved me an Uber fee. Then, they referred me to a reasonable rental company so that I’d have a vehicle while waiting on the part. After I had already agreed to pay for the fix, they called me to tell me that there’s a recall on this part for my car and they gave me the number for a company that will do it for free. I know that that was the right thing to do, but I don’t think that all mechanic shops would’ve done it. Oh, and they checked over the car and made sure that the rest of it was in good working order. When all was said and done, they only charged me for half an hour of labor and sent me on my way. There was never any pressure to put any more work into it than what it truly did need. They explained everything really clearly, every step of the way and they just seemed very trustworthy, to me. I’m definitely using these guys for my car issues, from now on, and I can’t recommend them enough!

Outstanding service! Fast, friendly, and fairly priced! I noticed my car was making an unusual noise and brought it into Christian Brothers Automotive. We dropped the car off on a Thursday night and got a call midday Friday to report the car was all set. Upon arriving to pay and pick up the car, we were told the repair was free. Granted they only had to clamp (or tighten?) a heat shield, but I still feel like most auto shops would charge a flat fee for assessing and fixing a problem. This was our second interaction with this business (first being a fast, fairly priced brake pad replacement) and we now know we won't go anywhere else for car repairs!

Immediately, I knew I wasn't going to get the run around like you typically find from other shops. So, after some talking he was able to squeeze me into his busy schedule for that day without any problems.
