I always go to Greitens. They are a thorough and honest shop. The diagnostic report with photos makes it easy to understand what is being serviced and why. Mike provides outstanding customer service and talks me through all the recommended repairs so I know exactly what I'm getting and how much it will cost. They've serviced my car for years - tires, brakes, leaks, struts - you name it. I'm always so happy (and confident) with how my car runs after I leave the shop.

I had recently moved to the neighborhood and in no time I was in need of routine maintenance. I found Greitens just blocks from my house. They are the friendliest mechanics I ever met. The prices are comparable to others . i have an older vehicle which i love so I've taken my truck there a few times to keep it gong. Mike and Kevin know my schedule and often have the work done in time so i can carry on with my day.. They know me by name and they even give a "THANK YOU" goodie bag when the work is done. The service is just fantastic.

I can't say enough good things about my experience. My issue was diagnosed and corrected perfectly and in a fraction of the time I was originally quoted. Not only did they not try to sell me something I didn't need, they actually recommended against the service when I asked if I should be getting a tire rotation. This was my first time using Greitens and as long as I'm in the area, they will be the only shop I go to. I try to do simple repairs on my own but my power steering gave out and while I knew it was the return line, I was over my head for how to access it and complete the work. I called on a Wednesday and they didn't have availability to look at it until Friday so I dropped it off Thursday night. By noon on Friday they had sent me their inspection report and called to say it was ready for pickup. One of the hoses within the return assembly had split and instead of replacing the entire assembly, they were able to just replace the hose that split which saved me about $150 in parts alone. Only paid for labor and sure enough, steering is back to how it should be. My experience is evident that this place cares more about their customers being satisfied than they do about making overhead on parts (aka stealerships). Combine that along with their inspection reports (email photos of each part of the inspection) and their overall professionalism, this is the place you can take your vehicle and know you're getting people that are going to repair car as it if was their own.

WOW, can’t recommend them enough! They were able to fix my brakes, clean my fuel system, and replace my wiper blades for HALF the price originally quoted to me by another mechanic. They work extremely quickly too - had my car ready in half a day. Not to mention they gave me a thank you bag with snacks when I picked my car up. They’ve earned my trust and I’ll definitely be back for any future work I need done!

Took my car to a dealer and they tried to convince me it was about to fall apart any minute, wanted 3k + labor for repairs. Took it here, left it overnight and got it back first thing the next day, right as rain. Spent less than a 1/4 of what the other place insisted on. They took pictures of everything they did (no I didn’t need an entirely new transmission, and so on) and gave detailed notes. Honest and straight forward. Can’t recommend them enough.

They serviced my old ford every time it needed some TLC (last visit was wiring repair) and more recently my Toyota (brakes). I had trouble finding a place that did emission testing and tag renewal, due to Covid. I found this place on google search. I called before I went there to make sure they still offered this service, which they do. The man that answered the phone was very pleasant. I then went there to have it done and I was very pleased. The establishment was very clean and all the people there (Employees) were extremely nice and friendly. It was very fast too, even though they were busy. I think it took about 5-10 minutes. I was expecting to see a dirty place and not very friendly people because that is how most places have been but to my surprise, it was one of the best auto places I have ever been too. I have a usual mechanic place that does the work on my car but I haven't been happy with them for awhile now (They have new employees that don't really know what they are doing and they have made some mistakes. I have been wanting to find a different place to have work done on my car and now I have one. I plan to take my two vehicles to Greitens Auto Service when needed to try them out. I was nervous about finding a new place but I feel 100% comfortable with Greitens. 😊

Wonderful service! Unfortunately, our vehicle started spewing oil all over while my wife was driving to work. I had read reviews online previously, just preparing myself so if my wife ever had car trouble while at work, I would know exactly where to take our vehicle. I am here to say that my experience was just as wonderful as the other reviews online. They took our vehicle in, sent us updates with photos and best of all, I was preparing myself to pay double! Had a great first visit to Greitens! They do a free inspection on every visit, and I was surprised by the level of detail and pictures that come with the online inspection report. It’s even color coded with their recommendations. Very easy to understand. Mike was very friendly and explained things in layman’s terms to me. Work was done quickly and probably at 50% of the price the Mazda dealership quoted me - brake pads/rotors, coolant flush, fuel induction cleaning, oil change. Wow! I will definitely be back.

Far different from other shops I have visited, I was provided a very thorough inspection report with pictures of the items that needed attention regarding my vehicle entirely. Not only did they prioritize the items using a color coded system green (good) red (need immediate attention) yellow (needs consideration); but all was done seamlessly by text and email! The timeline was a week shorter than as was expected for my repairs and I also paid less then expected bc they managed to find a way to repair and save me money! The level of service I have received at Greitens is second to none! Couple of things stand out to me: 1. Ease of getting an appointment whether through online scheduling or telephone. There’s always ample time slots and I rarely wait for more than a day or two to have my car seen. 2. Expertise. Mike and Kevin know/understand my vehicle. They make sound recommendations without trying to force products or services that may not be necessary. 3. Customer Service. As usual, we were impressed with the service and care that we got at Greiten’s, as we have been regular customers for many years now. We were leaving to go on a trip and needed some work done on our family van ( which has over 265,000 miles on it!), including an air-conditioner repair. We found that Kevin and Mike helped us get our vehicle done as quickly as possible under the circumstances so we could be ready for our trip. They were reassuring about the work and warranty provided as well. We recently acquired a third car for our son who will soon be driving and we feel confident that Greiten’s will be doing all the maintenance in the future for that vehicle as well.

I relocated to Milwaukee Oct '15. Having worked in the cutthroat auto industry in CA for 10 years, I did my research to find the best non-dealer service shops in town. Kevin & Terri Burke's Greitens topped my very short list. After my first visit, I didn't even bother trying other shops. I've had a '00 Accord, an '04 Sienna, and a '09 Lexus RX350 serviced. Some of the more significant repair orders (ROs) have entailed AC compressor / relay, CV boot, brakes & rotors, strut / shock suspension, alternator, thermostat, O2 sensors, transmission flush, fuel system cleaning, coolant flush, serpentine belt, power steering belt, water pump, timing belt, and battery. They have loaner vehicles should you need one. You'll receive a comprehensive inspection report via email after your visit. At the desk you'll find Mike as cordial and customer service orientated as they come. Quite frankly, it's rare to find an establishment that consistently markets itself well while exceeding customer expectations; Greitens delivers.

I received a very helpful email detailing recommended service for my truck, on the day I dropped it off. I was told it would take 4 days, for all that, and was actually completed in 3. The customer service was excellent, and the price was reasonable. Overall, I am very pleased!

I was amazed at how quickly the nice people at Greitens got me back on the road. My check engine light was flashing so I pulled in. The nice young man behind the counter took a quick look at my car and I guess he had some sixth sense; because , he popped open the hood and says " there's your problem" and he pushed on a wire and the car started running better. He said that the connector on the coil had come loose. I greatly appreciate it the help and I was able to make it safely back to Maine. Very nice experience.

Received a pre-purchase inspection on a vehicle I was looking to purchase. I was out of state and requested an in-depth review of the vehicle. I spoke with Mike, he was extremely helpful throughout the process and provided updates along the way. They went above and beyond my expectations for the inspection. Mike even provided pictures with arrows showing items I should know prior to purchase. He showed me damage that I had not been notified by the seller. Mike even went out of his way to provide more information on great places to look for other pre owned vehicles. Great service for new residents of the area. Mike answered my questions about how the weather would affect my car and made recommendations about preventive care to keep my car in shape. Honest is the one word to sum this shop up as. I brought my 2008 Chevy Cobalt in with very little knowledge about cars. These people could probably have taken advantage of that but didn't. They were honest with me and didn't tell me I needed things that I didn't. They also made sure I had a loaner vehicle to use. I know where I'm coming for future repairs and maintenance. This was the second time going to Greitens, the first was for a routine emissions test. They so friendly and helpful with that experience that we decided to use them again for a problem with a leaky tire. You every have that feeling the work that was supposedly completed on your vehicle was not actually done? Well you won't get that feeling at Greitens thanks to the mechanics, the overall sense of professional integrity, and especially Mike. Exceptionally patient man. I was using a reactivated credit card which was given us some trouble and Mike was gracious enough to get on the phone with the company to complete the transaction. Trust me it wasn't as simple as it sounds- 30 minutes at least. It was the worst but he was the best. I thank you and my car thanks you.

Looked around online for a place to service my Audi Q5. I was in desperate need of new brakes and oil change. I called and talked to Mike to see if they do service on Audis and he told me one of their technicians, Brandon, came from a Volkswagen & Audi dealer. I brought my car in and after doing the inspection they told me I also needed a fuel system cleaning, new air filters, and tire rotation. Their inspection report showed pictures of all the items and their recommendation. I really did need a new air filter!! The original quote they gave me was 35% off what the dealer was going to charge me just for the oil change and new front and rear brakes and rotors. I said to go ahead with everything they recommended. When the service was done, he stated that once all the parts came in and it was finished, the total was actually $240 less than the estimate!! That never happens to me!! I picked up my car and everything runs and drives perfect!! I couldn't be happier I chose this place and will definitely be back next time I need service for my car. The customer service here. So good. WOW. Purchased a new-used Odyssey (yes I decided to replace my dearly departed Blue Velvet with the exact same thing but in a different, prettier color) a few weeks ago for a steal knowing it needed work. After some online research, I called Greitens and scheduled an appointment to drop it off this AM. A few minutes ago I get a text link to a full report (photos included) of everything my car needs or will need in the future with an explanation of why. My dad was a mechanic so I know enough to know when I'm being B.S.'ed and there was none of that to be found here! The lead mechanic even called to walk through the charges with me and wasn't snarky/defensive when I passed on a few recommendations. I won't get my car back until Monday but it's a great feeling to know that ___ (still thinking of a good name for this one 😅) will be in tip-top shape when I get back, and all without breaking the bank!

I took my CR-V in with a combination of a rattling noise and my "Maintenance Required" light turning on and they checked it out for me. It turns out it was an automatic case of the light turning on, but the rattling is something that might be related to work done at the Honda dealership.
