John was very honest with me in what my car needed and he was very great at communicating with me I felt like my car was safe and I can trust them .the price was fair as well which was another thing I really liked . They did a great job fixing my car I am very satisfied with the job they did . We have been going to AUTOAID for ages. Best automobile maintenance and repair place in the Valley as far as we are concerned. The owner and his wife, sons and staff are extremely kind and knowledgeable professionals who go out of their way to be of service. Can I give ten stars? I would if I could! David and Max took great care of us on our last visit to AutoAid. Here's something that almost NEVER happens, the actual price turned out to be almost $1000 LESS than the estimate. What a great phone call it is to receive when a shop tells you that the repair is much easier and less expensive than they initially thought. The work was completed in one day and the car drives well. Trust AutoAid. They're great people doing great work.

Update: I had my first service… This company is reputable. As previously stated, The staff is extremely friendly and gracious. I am grateful that I found this place. I’ve had horrific experiences in the past with mechanics/auto shops… I feel confident and comfortable with Auto Aid. Came in to do a smog inspection as I was from out of state and was in the middle of registering vehicle at DMV across the street. Staff was very friendly and professional. They seem like a very reputable company and I believe I found my mechanic in California.

They got everything done that I knew was wrong with it and made my car safe to drive again. The people are super friendly and get everything done in a timely manner. Excellent service and reasonably priced, the dealer probably would have charged me 3-4 times for the same service for my Audi. The staff is super friendly and professional and the lobby is very welcoming. I love that it’s pet friendly, too- brought my doodle with me to pickup the car and she was offered doggie cookies. The staff explained everything that was included in the service and will send you a text once it’s completed with the details. Highly recommend!

I had them do some fluid exchanges on my car. I sent them an email throughtheir website, but they responded back with a phone call. Everything went seamlessly and they completed my car the same day. Everyone was so nice, professional, friendly and attentive. The driver that drove me home while my car was being worked on was just as friendly and fun to talk to. Their rates are very competitive. As a woman, I feel very comfortable in going to them again for any future repairs and maintenance.

Least expensive quality replacement of car glass in the valley. I have and aftermarket warranty from the dealership on a used car--I hated my dealership's shop and service. I found out that you don't have to service your car at the dealership and have never gone back. (David will look at your warranty and make sure that your warranty will cover their work.) AutoAid takes care of their customers. They will never overcharge or do unnecessary work. The last three oil changes they they told my my air filter was a little dirty and would need to change it soon. On the fourth oil change they said it was time to change it. A lot of places would just seek to change it the first time it was dirty to increase the bill. They are family owned and run and give excellent professional service. I feel lucky to have found and trustworthy, affordable mechanic. I don't live in the valley anymore but I drive 30 minutes to go to somebody I trust.

Great service, and set up well for social distancing. Outdoor seating area for consultations. Asked lots of questions about my car issue so that I knew we were in agreement about it. After the diagnostic checklist was completed I received an email with a detailed list with both possible issues and areas where the car was OK. this made it very easy to talk to the technician about what work needed to be done on my car at this time and what might need to be done later. Everyone is very nice and friendly. Definitely recommend!

My personal mechanic sadly passed away this year so I was nervous and absolutely dreaded the idea of going to go to a public shop for maintenance, especially having an older car and being a young women but the staff was welcoming and very professional. There was a mistake in my belt service, which they were understanding of and fixed it free of charge. My only dislike is that they take hours/all day to do one thing if they have a busy schedule but they offer customers a ride home. Overall, I highly recommend this place. Prices are reasonable. Staff is friendly. Thank you for the honest service AutoAid!

I don't ever have time for reviews, but these guys more than deserve it. I came in and told the clerk I was moving to TX later that week, wanted to know if my car was good for the trip (If you're in sales, you just heard "I have 0 return potential regardless of your service quality today. Make as much off me as you can, then get me out the door"). They treated me like family, had answers for all my dumb questions, drove me home to wait for my COURTESY inspection (100% could've charged for diagnostics, I asked for a full check). Within an hour, they texted me any concerns w/ pics for context, and told me I forgot my wallet (which had oh idk ~$500 in loose bills?), and my passport on the back seat floor. Told me what was necessary to fix for the trip, and what I could put off (again, fully aware they wouldn't get any business they didn't take that day). After I confirmed everything, they fixed it all in a couple hours. From hello, to driving off the lot, all in one afternoon. I'm not exaggerating. I've maybe wrote 1 other review for a business my entire life (I'm 30). I support people who do their job because they care about it, not because it makes them money. I believe that's what I saw that day. Only my luck that i found this place THE WEEK I MOVED TO TX. Thanks for getting me here safe gentlemen.

I took my car to Subaru and they tried to charge me $6500 for repairs - took it to Auto Aid for a second opinion and they did everything for $1700!! I was so relieved and happy. Came in a little after 8AM on a Monday without an appointment for an oil change & general diagnostic. I acknowledged nobody likes to be put in that spot and my only requirement was I needed it back by 2 to pick my kid up from school. I received a text with photos from the diagnostic & a phone call around 1 when the car was ready for pick-up. They walked me through their findings without any pressure to follow up their recommendations immediately or even at their shop. They not only remembered that I needed it back ASAP - they remembered WHY I needed it back. It was a small but impressive detail, especially for a first time walk in customer, which is why I will go back to them to get the rest of that work done. Plus their sign said "The Mensch with the Wrench" - I love it!

I went in having somewhat of an idea as to what was wrong with my truck. I took it to AutoAid anyways and they gave me the peace of mind that I needed. They did a diagnostic and got back to me promptly with an estimate of what I needed. They fixed it for less than I expected and now I have zero anxiety. AutoAid was recommended to me by a friend who had taken his car there. The minute I pulled my car into the garage, I was greeted by David who was really friendly and invited me in to the office so I could tell him what was going on with my car. I waited while they checked my car over which took less than a half an hour and they came back with a laundry list of work that needed to be done. This didn't surprise me in the least as my car has about 177,000 miles on it and it has been several years since I have had any major work done to it. Per took over to give me the estimate on what the repairs would cost me in parts and labor. When I mentioned that I am on a tight budget, he told me he would only look into the parts and repairs that could not wait. We made an appointment for me to come back a few days later when the parts would all be in. Again, I was greeted warmly by David and I was given a ride home by one of the other very friendly employees. The car was done as promised by the end of the day and I was picked up by David's Father, Jack. This really is a family business. They also pride themselves on being a female friendly auto repair shop. This could not be more true. I never felt talked down to and I never felt like they were trying to sell me something I didn't need. I have to say that, even though it was an expensive trip, it could not have been any more pleasant than the experience I had with AutoAid. I highly recommend them for any service or repair you need done.

This place is great. They took my car right away (no wait), and were friendly, courteous and helpful. Service was quick...they told me what was recommended by the dealer, but were happy to guide my decisions (the dealer recommended a changed cabin filter, but after asking a few questions, he didn't think I needed it yet. Auto Aid was very professional and timely. I was towed there and really didn’t have much of a choice to repair my car. I was apprehensive because they were not my regular mechanic. My car broke down about 50 miles from home. Fortunately they repaired my car in one day as promised at a reasonable and fair price. I appreciated the fact they didn’t take advantage of my situation. The service is excellent, often above and beyond. Years ago, I was juggling a toddler and getting the vehicle serviced. One of the guys gave me a lift home in my own car so I didn't have to move the car seat. Last week, my husband dropped off the vehicle and forgot his lunch at the shop. They brought it to him! They do good work. I don't feel like they're trying to upsell all the time. They treat you like family. They may be a bit more expensive than your average mechanic, but worth it.

I went to Dave at AutoAid after going to a highly-rated hybrid specialist in the area. I was planning a trip cross-country and wanted a diagnostic and inspection to see what, if any, needed repairs were to keep me safe. The specialists listed $1600 worth of repairs, none of which it turned out I needed. Dave got me in and out first thing to keep me from having to be without the car for a day, & found nothing to be wrong that would get in the way of a successful trip. And he did it for free. It gave me great peace of mind, & when I called him for a quick follow-up question (weather-related) he even mentioned the minor issue of what type of washer fluid I might have that could give me trouble; (it did!). I have so much appreciation for Dave. This trip was long and turned out to be harder than I anticipated due to winds, snow, icy roads. I would not have felt as safe had I not gone to AutoAid. Thank you, Dave!

Auto Aid always takes great care of me. This recent service was the first time I brought my wife’s car to them. We had received an estimate for work (some not entirely necessary) from the dealer. Jack picked the car up directly from the dealer so we didn’t have to transfer it ourselves. They then did the work for substantially less than the estimate given by the dealer and helped us prioritize other work to be done. I’m never taking my cars anywhere else.

From the start I felt like I could actually trust this body shop and they weren’t trying to find ways to upcharge the bill. They told me what was necessary, what was not, and what could be left to my decision to go either way (safe side or caution if not replacing/fixing). Auto Aid is the greatest! They run their shop better than the dealer! I went to the dealer recently for a recall notice, and they had nowhere near the follow-up and follow-through the Auto Aid has. Auto Aid consistently does a complete inspection of my vehicle each and every time I go, letting me know what things might need to be addressed in the future. I find this very helpful. They even reattached my sagging bumper cover!

After driving my car briefly Doug thoroughly explained the possible problems. He then quoted me a very reasonable fee for further diagnostics. I was then notified that the problem had been identified and repaired. There was no further charge beyond the diagnostic fee. My car is now running well again.

Excellent professionalism, customer service, and attention to detail. I stopped by to get my headlight changed, but they had just closed. David still took the time to talk to me about my concerns, and told me to come by the following day and he would take care of me. I came back the next morning and I was out in 20 minutes! David had left a note with Per, who is also great. Not only did they change the bulb that was out, but they reinstalled another bulb that was not properly installed by Toyota. Top notch! I will definitely be returning. They are stand up guys.

Auto Aid Rescue is a fantastic family owned and operated mechanic shop.They're extremely knowledgeable. They were of great help, fast diagnostics, and great customer service. My experience with Auto Aid has been the best experience I've ever had with mechanics. I am an older woman and have owned a number of cars mostly used and in some need of repair. Needless to say most of the mechanics in the past either did a shoddy job or over charged me for their services. I've made reports to the BBB and have had to take 2 of them to court (I won, by the way). As for Auto Aid, I was caught between a rock and a hard place when the used car I'd purchased blew a gasket. AAA towed my car there and the next day I was on the phone with Dave who informed me what I was dealing with and what it would take to fix it. After I recovered from the shock, I humbly asked him to have my car towed to my house because I was broke. Instead Dave came up with a plan that allowed me to have my car fixed . I must say I have had no problems with their repair work. They are honest, thorough they stand by their work. They are my mechanics for life.

My husband & I have been coming to Autoaid for years. Jack, David, Debbie & Max are AMAZING! We moved out to Oak Park last year and were worried that we would have to trust our 2013 Ford Edge to another mechanic closer to us. Yet another wonderful experience at AutoAid. I brought my car in and David got in the car with me for a quick ride so he could hear the squeaks and noises the car was making. While the car was being serviced, I broke out my laptop and used their wifi. Very comfy there. Squeaks Gone. Rattles Gone. Oil Change Done. Thank you so much Jack B.! My little brother was going to take his Behind the Wheel Driving Test at the DMV less than a mile away, down the street. Unfortunately, during his exam, the driving instructor informed us that the back brake lights were broken and were not lighting up. We had no idea until this moment, and it was clearly too late. I could write a book spouting the praises I have for Autoaid., but space is limited. No matter what auto problem I have had, Autoaid has been there for me. I am a senior citizen and recently was side swiped by an unlicensed driver. My car was drivable but in pretty bad shape. Shortly after the accident my back went out and I was homebound for three weeks with more time out still to come. After contacting my insurance carrier and having the adjuster come to my home and provide me with the cost of repairs, I called Autoaid and spoke with David. I explaind my situation and inquired as to who did their auto body work. David advised me and after I received payment from the insurance company called David again to ask him if he could figure out a way for me to get the car to the body shop. David actually offered to come by and pick up the car and deliver it to the body shop for me. Today David returned my car looking brand new and with no sign of it ever having been hit. His reommendation was the best. I am still home bound but now know that when I am ready to go, my car is ready too. Where else in this huge city can one find that kind of care and service? I have been with Autoaid for about three years and I have never been more pleased, from the smallest item to the big job of auto body work, David, his father and all the other employees are just the best, warm, friendly, honest and the creme de la creme when it comes to keeping my car safe and in tip top shape. I brought a 2003 PT Cruiser GT to AutoAid after several other facilities (including a Chrysler Dealership) were unable to diagnose the problems with it randomly stalling while driving. After the first day, they had diagnosed the issue, and had a clear plan of action to resolve it. On another occasion, I brought them our 2006 Honda Odyssey to diagnose several issues. Again, they were able to identify and recommend solutions that other shops had overlooked. In this particular case, we had some miscommunication, and replaced the power steering pump unnecessarily. When this was identified, David made it good by refunding the cost of parts and labor on the replaced pump. The guys at AutoAid are stand-out experts in the field of independent auto shops - I will definitely go to them again.
