We have been using Cantrell Service Center for a long time, and have always been very happy with the service. We have 2 cars, and one of them is not always easy to work on (Saab). Over the holidays, the other one broke down, and had to tow it. Sarah and Dennis are a delight to work with. The entire team is extremely professional and keeps you informed all the time. They have done a perfect job as usual and I will recommend them 1000%. It is rare today to find an honest repair shop, friendly, affordable and not pushy. Great staff. Thank you.

I ADORE using this service center for my car. I trust the employees and do not feel like they are trying to rip me off. They take pictures of any potential issues they see when working on your car and SHOW THEM TO YOU on their computer monitor to explain what is going on. They have even made suggestions—when asked—on how to prioritize (due to budgeting) what I may want to have fixed now, versus what I can wait on and keep in mind for the future. I have used them since 2016, and they usually know me by name. They also offer rides to nearby locations if you cannot stay and wait on your vehicle. Very friendly staff—I have mostly interacted with Sarah, Dennis, and Chuck!

This is my fist time at Cantrell Service I need to get work done on my old truck. First I called to find out the price to RI throttle body and did the learning process on it was the same quoted price has when I went to pick it up they found out my battery was not was no good and gave me a print out of battery health and life and also took a screenshot of the scan tool showing the cods very happy with their services will be returning great place open Honest better than any dealership could ever be thank you very much

They replace timing belt tensioner, timing belt, and water pump in my 2013 Honda Pilot. The tensioner was making loud clatter and I sure didn't want to have timing belt to break. From what I can tell so far, they did a good job at a fair price.

I was a little disappointed in their troubleshooting chops on my most recent visit. I brought my car in for an oil change and a check engine light. The CEL turned out to be for an evap system leak. They ended up running an expensive ($200+) evap system test before performing a basic visual inspection of easy to check points of failure. It turned out to be caused by a missing gas cap :(. It was partially my fault for not remembering that I misplaced my gas cap but I feel that a more competent troubleshooter would have discovered the missing gas cap and linked it to the CEL, saving themselves a lot of time and me a lot of money. Edit: I was contacted by Cantrell Service Center after posting the above review. They agreed with my assessment of the situation and offered to refund the cost of the evap test. I was also told that they were reassessing their procedures to try to catch simple solutions without performing expensive/time consuming tests that may not be necessary. I was not asked to change my review, but I feel like I should update it. They ultimately went out of their way to do right by me, and I am much more likely to go back to them for future automotive repair/maintenance needs.

I don’t live in the LR/NLR area, but I had heard this was the place to go if you had steering/alignment issues. My vehicle always drifted to the right. I had taken it to two dealers and two tires shops to resolve the problem, but no luck. I was surprised to learn from Cantrell Services that my vehicle’s computer is involved in the steering. If your vehicle’s computer wrongly thinks straight is a degree or two to the right, then the computer is going to steer to the right when you want it to go straight. I learned that to fix my problem the wheels, steering wheel and the vehicle’s computer have to be on the same page. I was thrilled when they fixed my problem when nobody else could. They were very professional, tech savvy and friendly. I highly recommend these folks.

They held my vehicle for a day to find out what was up with tires. Turned out they needed alignment and 2 new tires. I recommend anyone to try this shop.

This business is one of the best we've ever used. Our ages are 81 and 76 and since we were stranded 75 miles from home with our little dog, we didn't know where to turn. Another business recommend Cantrell Service Center and gave us the phone number. When I called, a friendly reassuring voice told me that she would take care of us. A wrecker was sent to get the car and she came to get us and take us to the shop. While we were waiting for our water pump and hose to be replaced, she kept us informed of the progress on the repair and offered a variety of complimentary snacks. We were treated with such respect and kindness, my husband and I would strongly recommend Cantrell Service Center. I believe the young lady's name was Sarah. The gentleman giving us the phone number was Brandon, also a customer. They were certainly are gardian angels on that day.

I had a used car inspection done as well as oil change. Rear rotors found near minimums so rear brake job done. Tech reported engine air filter was “dirty”even though only had 6K miles. Actually had some fuzzy debris on bottom side. When I declined replacement the filter was put back without debris being removed. Tech claimed not to be able to inspect battery or spare tire even though I had removed everything from trunk to allow full inspection of these items.

My entire family has been using Cantrell Service Center for years. As a young woman, it's important to me to have a go-to mechanic that is dependable, respectful, and doesn't feel manipulative. Cantrell Service Center has excellent customer service. They will not try to pull a fast one on you, and they take the time to explain what's wrong with your car in detail, and whether the problem is a common or uncommon issue for your type of car. They'll tell you the pricing on the front end (and they'll call you to discuss any price changes before making the repair), and they are fast! They've performed everything from simple oil changes for me, to replacing parts of my car battery terminal, to repairing brakes, and replacing my Subaru's control arms and bushings. They already had the parts for the battery, and my car was finished the very same day the control arm parts were delivered. As an added bonus, without me asking, they even took the time to give me some pertinent advice to help increase the longevity of my Subaru. To me, that says a lot about their ethics and integrity. They could've opted to not offer that advice, and then maybe I would've had some very serious and costly damage to my vehicle in the future. I also found out that they will do a pre-inspection on a vehicle you're interested in purchasing. I recommend Cantrell Service Center to all my co-workers, friends, and family.

I was very pleased with Cantrell’s inspection and service. I had bought a ‘new’ used vehicle with 192,000 miles on it and needed a baseline current condition. They checked nearly everything and the vehicle passed inspection except for the brakes. However I was given the okay for minor local driving until I get the money together for proper repair. I love these guys, they kept my 2005 vehicle road ready for several years and I followed their recommendations as they are trustworthy.

AC was working but not very well. They checked everything out and determined I was nearly out of Freon. They recharged my system along with a dye to try and locate the leak. Unfortunately they were unable to find it in the time they had to observe it. Certainly the leak must be tiny. Rather than keeping my vehicle for several days they returned it to me it’s instructions for me to pay attention to the cooling and if I noticed a change to bring it back. I appreciated the service and the return of my vehicle. I definitely recommend them for auto service.

Sarah and david were very helpful and friendly. I haven’t had this vehicle very long. I bought it in Feb 2020 with 180,000. I took it to the Chevrolet dealership to get an inspection in an oil change. The truck has 186,000 miles at this point. Yesterday I walked in and they were able to work me in at the last minute. They made sure to give a thorough inspection so I would have a good base line for my maintenance schedule. They went over all all the mechanics notes and answers all my questions. I chose this business based on reviews and a reference from a close family member. I called the day before and spoke with a very nice gentleman (Chuck) who gave me a quote for the service requested. He then shared that they were not taking appts only walk-ins at this time and that I would need to be able to leave the vehicle if brought in. I took my vehicle in the next morning and was greeted by David. He was very professional as well. He gave me a timeline for the service (they were short-staffed) and told me he would check first to see if I indeed needed the service requested. He called that afternoon confirming what was needed with pricing, as well as an additional service. I approved. My car was ready just before closing and guess what? I did not need the additional service he mentioned during our earlier conversation! I saved over $600.00 utilizing Cantrell Service Center as my dealer wanted close to $1000.00 for the same service😳. We were in town pulling a 5th wheel, we made it to our destination, that where my truck failed to start. I am an auto tech in a shop very similar to Cantrell Service, so I was able to get parts I needed to repair my distributor from a near by NAPA auto parts store. The only thing I didn't have was a timing light to reset ignition timing. I called Cantrell Service and David answered, when I told him of my situation he told me he didn't have a timing light at the shop anymore (as they are pretty much obsolete as new cars have no need to adjust timing, all computer controlled), but said he had one at home in his personal tools. He said he would if it was still operational, and let me know the day. Well unfortunately it was not working anymore, but what a great person David is to take time to check and let me know he was not able to help me. I checked other shops and no one was willing to help out for a number of days or just didn't care to help me. I ended up buying a new light and getting the timing adjusted and back on with the rest of our 2000 mile trip. Wow, I understand the high prevalence of good reviews now. It's incredibly refreshing to find somewhere like this: quality work, no scam artistry, honesty and professional. I am so glad I did my research and combed through Google reviews etc. of places in Little Rock and stumbled across this place. We inherited a 2003 Crown Victoria. Although, the engine is sound and it has incredibly low mileage (single owner was elderly and didn't drive it very often), basic maintenance of the car has not been kept up over the years. As such, it was time for new AC actuator, serpentine belt, rotors, rear pads, brake fluid and a new ebrake. Everything was completed for under 1200. We're satisfied with the work and the car is whisper quiet after the belt change. Would not hesitate to return here in the future! Highly recommended!

Wow, we were still 3 hours out from being home finally when no thanks to road workers not properly keeping things off the interstate that DON'T belong and you have NO choice but to run their stuff over since the other choices are a concrete wall or a line of traffic going about 80 mph.......and it destroyed the undercarriage piece and started to melt the plastic, so to keep from possibly harming the tire or anything else further we were only about 15 minutes from Cantrell Service Center in North Little Rock. They greeted us with excellent manner's, said they'd fix it the best they could to keep it from damaging the tire they also gave my granddaughter a little kids juice box and me some glorious coffee lol I hadn't been able to have any all day so that alone was amazing.....the best thing is when the guy showed its the temporary fix and that it'd hold until it could be replaced BUT when I asked how much he said "nothing, you're good" and when I said wow aww you sure, well pay a service fee or something for the last minute help..... He again said no, no you're good y'all just make it home safe and have a good weekend! God bless that place, the mannerism alone was amazing, hell I would drive the 3 hours there just to have a body shop that had the values they did! So thank you Cantrell Service Center!!!

They're amazing. I found them when searching for quotes to replace my electric power steering assembly. However unlike other places, Chuck told me it should be covered under a special manufacturer warranty and to go to the dealer. Saved me literally $800-1000. They also recently replaced a brake rotor and pad that had worn through after only 8000 miles due to being installed improperly. One of the things we like best is how they will tell you what needs to be fixed now and what can wait. There is no pressure put on you. They have been honest with me every step of the way. A couple of times I found other places to do the work for less but that is a rarity. They have done right by us. We have recently started looking for a replacement car for my wife and Chuck has been incredible about answering our questions and getting us set up for an inspection. Once we do get a new car, it is coming back to get the work done (which hopefully won't be for a while) The only downside I could ever say is that I wish they were open on Saturdays. Although extremely delayed, given that our vehicle was worked on back in December, I felt strongly that I wanted to provide a review of Cantrell Service Center's services. To put it simply, I cannot recommend them highly enough. David and the rest of the crew there treated me like one of their own while I was there. Not only did they get me in within just a few hours during a very busy time for the business to do a relatively major bit of work on my vehicle (my alternator and battery died on a vehicle where neither is easy to access), but they went so far as to look over some other components and gave me fair warning about future repairs (and didn't bill me for any of that). David also went out of his way to look for a way to reduce the overall cost of the repairs when he heard that my family and I were already enduring a major expense under strained finances with our cross-country trip to a wedding. A job that could have easily cost anywhere from $1500-$2500 ended up costing us closer to $850 in the end. To top it off, they took note of how long I had been there in the waiting room and did everything they could to make sure I was comfortable (including offering me a meal, with no expected compensation in return). To put it simply, the folks at Cantrell Service Center were/are a real G-dsend. David even called me up the next day to make sure that we made it to our destination safely and that the repairs were working out well. Truly one of the kindest shops I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. If we lived in the Little Rock area, they would have earned a customer for life out of me with this one visit. They have my highest recommendation. Cantrell Service Center is the pinnacle of excellence.
