Excellent service. I had initially reached out to Luke's Auto in regards to my brakes and rotors. I was told by the Toyota dealership I was in desperate need of new rotors and brakes all around my car. They wanted to charge me $1,400+ for these services. I contacted Luke's about getting it inspected. I love how they were transparent and efficient. After the brake inspection, they told me I did not need new brakes or rotors at this time (opposite of what the shady dealership told me). In addition to the brake inspection, they did a general inspection of my whole car. They found 1 belt that was cracking (even provided photos so it could be verified). I had them replace it. I am having them replace my tires as well once they arrive in. I am very glad I found an honest, efficient, and transparent auto repair shop here in Columbus. Their pricing is very fair and their work to this point has been exceptional. Thank you guys for the awesome work and turn around times.

I haven't had this great of service at a repair shop since the 90's. I also had this type of service when I purchased a vehicle brand new. I had an exceptional experience from start to finish at Luke's. I've been using another garage for the past two years. My SUV never drove or felt repaired well. My SUV drives so smoothly again like it is brand new. I will be using their services again.

Catalytic converter stolen and I'm new to Columbus. I've lived here for less than a year and hadn't needed auto service yet. I asked a coworker for suggestions, and they suggested Luke's. Thank goodness. As a young woman, people often try to take advantage of me, but I actually know things (I can change my oil myself). Anyway, at Luke's, I never felt worried. If there's one word to describe the business, it's "transparency." But if I could also add another it would be, "family." They are extremely transparent and honest. When you go in, they not just tell you what needs to be done but show you the proof and are very thorough in their inspections. Also, the employees all just want the best for you. They made me feel like family by the way in which they helped me. A catalytic converter replacement is NOT cheap, but Luke's actually suggested to look into my car insurance for comprehensive to cover it. I'm not sure other shops would care that much about their customers. (Service was in April of 2022).

Dennis was great!! He kept me informed of what needed repaired, was very knowledgeable (and honest), and was accurate with the running cost. :) The work that was done is fantastic!! My clutch is smooth as butter, my car drives straight now with no steering wheel shimmy, and the new tires have made my car SO much quieter. I'll go back to Luke's in a second if I need any more work on this or our other car. I have also HIGHLY recommended Luke's to everyone I've talked to since I got my car back!! Thank you!!

I've been going to Luke's for years now and I'm very pleased. They are honest, quick (large staff), provide detailed information on a website and email that includes photos of the problems with your vehicle. And they seem to be unique in providing a free loaner car during your repair, when available. This saves so much hassle and expense over having to get a ride service, rental, or bother someone else to take time to drive you.

We brought our car here after it'd been seen by multiple other mechanics at a different shop, who'd been unable to figure out what was wrong and why my car's steering wheel was shaking at high speeds. Luke's did an inspection to see if they could diagnose any issue with the steering or suspension, and couldn't find anything physically wrong with my car. That being the case, they were aware and informed enough to suggest that the root problem may actually be that my car's rims were not fitting properly (when I bought my rims they didn't come with this little extra part, balancing rings). Sure enough, I was able to take my car home, buy the part online for under 20 bucks, and have my husband put it on. That seems to have fixed the problem! It's amazing to me that it was such a simple fix that the other shop could've/should've known, which would've saved me so much time and run-around. I'm just thankful that Luke's knew what to do and was able to solve my problem for me. Luke's is not the cheapest around, admittedly, but worth it. Remember, what's cheap isn't good, and what's good isn't cheap. It's worth bringing your car somewhere where people actually know what they're talking about!

We were referred to Luke’s by a co-worker and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the entire process. Brought 2 vehicles in for a oil changes and received fantastic customer service both times. I love that they provide a shuttle service (uber) both ways for free too. Their complimentary multi-point inspection is thorough and caught some critical issues and they also research your vehicle/history for suggested maintenance. Two thumbs up. Great job and very professional. They take pictures of any problem parts on your car and have a well done website where you can access their recommendations for work on your car. They also went further than other shops did in order to figure out a problem with my car. The price for an alignment, tire rotation, and oil change was good.

Took my car to the dealership for routine maintenance. It was supposed to be free for 2 years, 24k miles. At 18 months, 10k miles, the dealership handed me a list of work and an estimate of $285. .. Said "no thanks" and left. (No, you're right; I said something much more colorful and obscene than "no thanks") .. Took my car to Luke's; asked for routine maintenance plus some extras to protect my warranty. Luke's handed me a bill for $89. .. Erased the dealership's address from my GPS. Replaced it with Luke's. Suggest you do the same. ;-)

There were some office challenges that Aaron and folks were working through today, which resulted in delays on my service charges when I arrived. To save my time they told me to take my car and pay them later when it was sorted. That's class. They value your time which reflects in everything else they do.

Went in for a routine checkup using their mail flyer and got a great deal for under $100. They offer a complimentary Uber ride back to your house and were very communicative on exactly what they did and the status of your vehicle, available in printable and digital formats. I had my car stolen and had to buy a new one which was less than perfect. I took it to Luke's Auto to have them check it out because there were bound to be issues with the condition I bought it in. They gave a comprehensive list of all the issues and which ones were higher priority and let me choose the ones I could afford to pay for to have repaired. I was tempted to give 4 stars instead of 5 because it was really expensive to fix only 2 things but I still gave 5 because I don't know that much about cars so I don't know hpw expensive it is for them to fix those 2 issues. It's not necessarily the employees fault if prices are less than ideal so I didn't want to fault them for that anyway. Thanks Luke's Auto!

I found Luke’s Auto online and after checking out their ratings and reviews, I felt comfortable enough to take my car in. I had a really good experience with Luke's. My bill ended up being much higher than expected, but that's because they found a serious issue that made my vehicle unsafe to drive. Their repair process is completely transparent. They send pictures and descriptions of any issue they find to your phone before they call you too discuss your options. Luke's found an issue with my car that had been missed by other shop's "detailed inspections" that I had been going on for a couple of years. I was able to make an appointment and have the work done much faster than I would expect. They have that small business customer service, but they operate so efficiently it has the advantages of dealing with the larger places. We'll be bringing our cars here for everything.

Incredible staff and customer service Had my vehicle reinspected here after an accident that wound up with my car at the impound throughout winter for several months. They were very honest transparent about the costs necessary to get it back on the road with a clean bill of health and agreed it would be best for me to trade it in for a newer safer option. Everyone here is so patient and friendly despite the fact they’re super busy constantly and clearly under a lot of pressure (I have really bad anxiety so this was a relief). No pressure sale tactics nothing, they even topped my fluids off and fixed the noises to make sure it was good for me to drive back home and to the dealer. 9/8/22... Back today to pick up my car. We went to Hocking Hills and my car died. We replaced the battery and it still wouldn't start. I've been a AAA Plus member for 22yrs thankfully! Swift online scheduling means I don’t have to remember to call them for an appointment. Everyone is courteous and professional. They share a service report on line which includes photos of your car, and photos of your problem areas, with notes pointing at issue, it’s so helpful for understandings their recommendations. And, no hard sell to upcharge you for un-needed repairs. I’ve already recommended them to all my relatives.

We were experiencing some problems with corrosion on our old battery and the van wouldn’t turn on. We replaced the battery and cleaned the contacts as best we could but it refused to work. Had it towed to Luke’s, who we have been using for years, thinking it was a bigger issue. They noticed similar problems and cleaned all the connections better. Van now works great. Love that I can trust them to fix our mistakes honesty and fairly.

So I've spent about 10,000 with them on my car for various reasons. And 3 other cars prior. This being the 4th car just keeps having problem after problem. That being said I like to think we know each other fairly well at this point. Well while out of town in their loaner car my gf mom called and said some b/s about my riving and I wasn't even driving the loaner(was in my gf name) and I was out of town during the accused time. But still without even talking to me they decided I wasn't fit to have a loaner anymore. There was no talk or questions asked. Just one accusation I proved to be impossible and they wanted to then shaft my gf and I on being able to get to work to keep a roof over our children's heads. Beyond that and then living occasionally about your car being test driven they do decent work. And if this situation gets remedied I'll prob stay with them. But my main guy brad did me dirty this go around.

Easily the best car repair experience I've ever had. Dropped my vehicle off at 1 p.m. for a transmission diagnosis and had a diagnosis emailed and texted to me at 8 a.m. the next day with solutions fully explained. Moved forward with the process and my vehicle was done the next day. Obviously more complex repairs will take more time but I was very pleased with the efficiency at which everything was done. My vehicle is better than before. 10/10 would recommend Luke's Auto!

I took my vehicle to Luke’s for a 2nd opinion after receiving an alarming repair estimate for a service I wasn’t sure I needed. It was so high that I was concerned that I needed to replace the car. Luke’s offered a no cost 2nd opinion for new customers. Not only did Luke’s examine the car for the problem assessed elsewhere but they did an entire inspection of the car, for which I was grateful since I was trying to decide whether to keep the vehicle or not. Luke’s shared the inspection with me, which identified some additional maintenance needs. Thankfully, they concluded that the high cost repair was not needed at this time and maybe not ever. They concurred with the other firm on one of the problems. After discussing the matter with Luke’s and getting an estimate of what the repairs would cost, I was confident in their explanation and I elected to have the work completed there. The estimate was well under the previous estimate and included items that were not previously identified. I believe that thanks to Luke’s, my car still has life in it! I was also grateful for the loaner car made available to me. Although I didn’t drive it much, it was helpful to have it. I highly recommend Luke’s.

The throw out bearing in my BMW, a 1997 Z3, began making noise, and at my age, was not interested in doing my own repairs. I found Luke’s online, and made an appointment. My first experience with Luke’s was painless. They did a thorough expectation of my vehicle with recommended repairs. I had a complete clutch job, new brakes and shocks on the rear, and a differential oil change for good measure. Driving my Z is fun again, as it should be. I only needed a couple things fixed on my vehicle and they did not try to push more repairs/costs on me than I requested done, which I appreciated! They provided a link with photos of the my vehicle inspection and separated the fixes in to different sections that included Immediate Attention, Not Urgent, etc. It was a great way of showing me what I need done and what I need done in the future. Great prices that are much around the avg price of what I needed done. Very fair! They also paid for my Uber back to my apt when I dropped my car off and the service was done within a day, granted I did make an appt a few days in advance. I found Luke's Auto via a quick Google search. They are clean and concise with their work. I knew I needed my brakes serviced and possibly replaced, but they addressed other issues I was not aware of which was helpful. I dropped the car off, within a few hours they emailed me a full inspection detail sheet and then we discussed over the phone what I wanted them to do out of the inspection results. They gave me the estimated cost but couldn't guarantee the car would be done that day due to the work needing done. I told them I needed the car and they said they would have it mobile for me to pick up that day and I could schedule the rest of the work to be done the following week. About 2 hours later they called and said they had a loaner (they previously had none available) and that I could pick up that evening. This was over the Easter Holiday weekend. The car was finished by noon the following business day and came in over $100 cheaper than what they had quoted me on the phone. Easy to work with, does great work, thorough and a great price. Highly recommend!

My wheel and entire car shook noticeably whenever I drove. I'm not a regular at any mechanics (except for oil changes just at Valvoline or Meineke nearby), so I had to search for a shop that knew cars, was reliable, trustworthy, and affordable. Once again, Luke's has saved me a bunch of money on an old vehicle when they could have made a lot of $$ on the diagnostic process. Or they could have simply refused to work on it due to complexity & age of the vehicle. I recently "inherited" a pretty nice used truck which quickly began to exhibit an electrical problem. It was difficult to diagnose & thx to Adam (now the mgr of shop), I didn't spend the $$ to go to the next step of diagnostic costs. Instead he came up with an ingenious temp (permanent?) solution to get around the mystery power drain. I spent less than 1/3 of what I might have spent on diagnosis & repair. This was a tremendous help at a time when I had more than usual expenses. But I've lost count of how many times the staff at Luke's have helped me out. Sometimes it's little stuff (like getting the stubborn bulb out of glove compartment with broken door so it wouldn't drain my battery, or helping with what I thot was a headlight prob) & sometimes big ticket items. You can always count on Adam, Jason, Josh, Aaron & Dennis to be professional, helpful, knowledgeable and consistently good-humored. And their techs are pretty swell too!

I took a very old car in to see if it was worth fixing. They did a full inspection and gave me a " treatment plan" the cost to fix was more than was paid for the car. They treated me like family and did not push repairs. At the time I chose to NOT repair and look for another means of transportation. Due to the lack of a used car market I am thinking of taking it in to have the repairs completed. Highly recommend this establishment.

Warning biased review - I used to work at Luke's as a technician but now work for a non-profit that partners with Luke's. I needed an alignment, tire balance and an oil change on my Saab but had no time to do it myself. Towed van here after AAA said we had an issue they couldn’t help us with. Staff at Luke’s were able to accurately diagnose and repair our van. Since they had to do an extra repair not included in the original diagnosis, it was provided for free. While I was waiting to pick up my van, another customer came in to pick up her car and because nothing was wrong with it, they did not charge her for the diagnostic tests that they performed. Fantastic services. I took my Chevy 2500 for a door repair lock repair that I had just purchased. They did a full diagnostics test on my truck and found that I had leaking fuel lines. The guys over at Luke’s Auto are great. I had my 2013 F150 in for a check engine light . Turns out it was an O2 sensor. I decided to have the oil and spark plugs changed as well. Luke's auto did more than just take care of my car. They took care of my family! On the road to visit family my car began giving me issues in Columbus. I immediately found Luke's Auto because of the high ratings. They were able to get me in quickly, so as soon as I arrived by myself (a young lady), with my two baby boys, I was welcomed by at least 3 different workers at 3 different times offering anything from teddy bears, food/drink, and a toy car to help make our stop easier and more helpful. They made sure to check on us, talk with us, and offer a positive attitude during our troubles. In just about an hour, Jason came and told me they had great news. They figured out a glitch had happened in a sensor and they were able to reset it. They also were going to do it at no charge! They just wanted to get me back on the road to grandma's house. Wow! What an honest helpful company! They have no idea how much a business like this is appreciated. If I lived in the area they definitely would have won my permanent business. Took my car in for an oil change and courtesy check, and ended up needing a few repairs...I really appreciated the inspection report so I could see what needed to be fixed, and why. But even better was the integrity of the service recommendations! I was told what really should be repaired right away, as a safety measure, and what could be delayed with careful monitoring. I did not feel pressured into having services or repairs that weren't warrented, was given a quote for both parts and labor, and that cost rang true when the work was completed. In addition, in this time of needing to take extra precautions to keep each other safe and healthy, the lobby area for pick up, drop off, and payment is well-spaced, planned, and has procedures in place to keep things sanitized and as limited in contact as possible. I will continue to take my vehicles to Luke's with such a good experience!

Over a month or so ago we took my girlfriend's Cadillac Coupe to Luke's Auto due to the high reviews I had come across. Initially Lucas seemed nice but that then turned sour as soon as I asked him to provide me with a breakdown of the pricing for replacing a door button switch. Originally Lucas quoted us a price of just over $100, then the total came up to be almost $300 which is more than double what we were told. When I asked Lucas to break down the prices, he became unprofessional and then started to stay how their mechanics are the best and if we wanted to take our car to some backyard mechanic we could. Then Lucas had the nerve to want to suddenly charge my girlfriend for time spent on finding the issue. I again asked him to provide us with a breakdown for the estimated pricing and he could not do that. My girlfriend allowed them to fix the car only because they had it for two days. The door button switch seems to have been fixed which is good. Unfortunately that was our first time using Luke's Auto and will not be going back or referring anyone to them based on our experience. *Update* We received an email from Rory and also had a conversation with him. Rory seems to care about their customers being treated well and also Luke's Auto providing great service to them. We appreciate Rory reaching out to us and also letting us know he would like to gain our trust and business back. I recently had new front brakes installed on my vehicle at another shop but there was some obvious noise coming from them. Upon talking with Rory about our first experience, I decided to give Luke's Auto another try. They were able to diagnose and correct the issue for a nominal fee which was greatly appreciated. Since our initial experience, Rory and his crew have been very pleasant to deal with and that is awesome and also nice to know they care about their customers and also providing great service.

I brought in a Jaguar that needed quite a bit of diagnostic work and they pulled it all off without a hitch. I even got a free uber ride back to my place. They send you reports with photos of what the issues are so you have proof of what they are seeing. The guys at the front desk have great customer service skills and talk to you kindly and honestly. These guys were great and told me their opinion on what they thought was most important and what could wait if I didn't want to pursue it that day. The first repair I had done turned out to be more than anticipated, but the service team kept us in the loop and checked with us every step of the way. I know because my family owns an auto repair shop out of state, and I checked with them on the price of the repair, and it was right on book value! Our second repair was much cheaper than expected! Luke's has always been my go-to for car troubles. They are quick to work on your vehicle (even get in early to do so), always explain to me what's wrong with my car, and give me their honest opinion on the severity of the problem. If they have to keep your car for a few days they'll do their best to send you out with one of their loaner vehicles for no charge. If there is no loaner available they will pay for an Uber to take you to and from the auto shop. They are also honest with their pricing (I don't know too much about this, but I know that one time it was cheaper for me to get my car fixed elsewhere and they told me that to save me money). Above all, they are really nice guys. I've never been disappointed with their service.

I have been using Luke's for about 2 years now beucase they're simply great at their job. I work in the auto sales industry so I know roughly how much they would pay for any parts or specially labor. Took my car in to get my blower motor and connector replaced and they quoted me 200 dollars above what it should’ve cost. They did a great job, but if I hadn’t called and asked for them to break down the price/got another quote from another auto service shop they would’ve charged me much more. Always make sure to google parts and ask why it’s so expensive! Especially if you are young (or female). Blower motor OEM was 60 dollars online, and they were charging me 220. Adam at the front was very nice and helpful, everyone else was alright.

I ended up stumbling upon Luke's from all of the great reviews on yelp. I recently have been getting my car serviced at Mercedes at Easton. Something felt shady about the last 2 times I went there they charged me $3,000 on a number of services they said that I "needed "when I didn't. I got a estimate on my service B and spark plugs which they said was going to be $3,000 again. I'm so glad I ended up finding Luke's. I messaged them on yelp for a estimate and they got back to me 10 mins later. Got an estimate for $1400 which I was very happy with and seemed very fair. They even offered to give me a rental car to use. Originally they said I was supposed to get the car back Wednesday but they got the car finished on Tuesday way quicker than expected. Also the final price only ended up being 1100 they told me that I didn't necessarily need an oil change yet I still have 2000 more miles so they didn't add that onto the service. I really appreciate the honesty and integrity of this place if you're looking for a place to get your car serviced look no further! Definitely gained a new customer can't wait to tell my friends and family about this place Ps I believe the guy that help me was named Josh he was very helpful and nice. Great for foreign car owners

This marks the second time I've taken my car into a shop for something outside of tires and I was not disappointed this time. Although, the technician broke the oil cap on my car, Luke's auto fully covered the cost of the replacement part at no cost to me. I'll be bringing my personal vehicles and some company cars back to Luke's for servicing. Excellent shop.

Took my 2004 Toyota Sennia in to repair rear door latch. Check locking system and rear break light. Found out brakes were going bad (which I suspected was going on). Had breaks repaired & door latch. Don't ever go anywhere else!!! Luke's is the absolute most honest mechanic shop in all of Columbus! Their prices where very reasonable even on my Audi. They provide you with a full emailed diagnostic report and pictures for you to review line by line before they ever fix or charge you anything. Luke’s is awesome, professional and very honest. I own a Suzuki Kizashi and very few people work on Suzuki’s. They listened to my issue and from the beginning were up font about their ability to diagnosis and fix the issue. The diagnosis fee was more than fair. Luke’s offered to attempt to fix the issue, but were very truthful and couldn’t guarantee the repair would work. In the end I decided not to pursue the repair, but I will return to Luke’s should it become necessary be cause I trust them.

Luke’s has always been reliable. My mother and I have both had our cars serviced at Luke’s over the past year and a half. We have never had an issue. This past time, I got a quote from a different repair shop to replace one set of parts when my car broke down and wouldn’t run. The repair cost was more than my car was worth. Before taking it to a junkyard we had it taken to Luke’s just to double check and get a second opinion. They replaced more than the one part and got the car running in great condition and overall the cost was still about $600 less than the other shop. Interacting with the other shop made me feel hopeless and kind of like an idiot for letting my car break down. Luke’s never had me feel like that, they helped me understand what happened and talked me through the parts that needed replaced. Overall it was just amazing and I will always return to Luke’s for any repairs and service on my car.

Shortly before I was planning to leave for a trip to Cincinnati I noticed that The sidewalk of one of my tires didn’t look right. Rather than risk having a problem during my trip, I called Luke’s, and they told me to bring my car over right away and they would look at it. They determined that I needed a new tire, ordered it, got it in that afternoon, and rotated my tires, put on the new one, and balanced them. Had my AC repaired and oil changed. All staff I spoke to were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They recommended various additional preventative maintenance but were never pushy and were honest about the needs of my car. Staff communicated via phone call on a timely basis. Maintenance was completed same day and I was provided a free (sans gas) loaner vehicle so I could go to work instead of waiting at the shop. Pricing was already comparable to other shops I called so this was a big factor for me. I have auto shops closer to home but Luke's was worth the 30 minute drive. Would use again.

I took my 05 Ford F-150 to have the spark plugs changed. This is wildly expensive anywhere you go, they quoted me about 3.5 hours of labor as long as none broke, which was accurate. Lucas and Jay were very helpful with my concerns. I also broke a screw off in my fuel rail pressure sensor that needed fixed. At first, Lucas told me the entire fuel rail needed replaced =850 dollars. I disagreed and asked that he see if his mechanic can remove the screw and replace it with another. He called back and confirmed that they would try. Later that day Lucas calls and informs me that his mechanic was able to remove the screw and replaced it, he was also able to remove all 8 plugs using an impact drill without one breaking. The mechanic also fished out a piece of plastic stuck in one of the spark plug wells that he saw when he was working. My bill was $650, with about $100 in parts and approximately 3.5 hours of labor. I was expecting my bill between 400-500, but the service was excellent and the truck is running great. I would recommend this garage and will be returning my business to them in the future.

"Honest" ... one of the words displayed on their building and I totally agree. I was looking for an auto shop I could really trust with my one and ONLY car, without being overcharged for being "a woman" and I have found it! Luke's is a great auto shop with good customer service skills as well. I mainly deal with Mr. Aaron at the front desk, but its another guy that ALWAYS speaks each time I walk in no matter if he's with a client or not. This week I finally got to see Mr. Luke because he's usually out volunteering with the youth of our community (very noble) and I swear it was like a celebrity walked in. Not to the employees, just to me probably, I always read the articles displayed on their walls about his work with children so it was neat seeing him for the first time. Anyways, back to the car services.... they will email you detailed diagraphs, and/or call you with informative breakdowns of the labor for your car. I found this shop through Yelp and Kia was trying to charge me a house payment for the work that Luke's did, successfully and way cheaper. Also, I love they fact that they have their own loaner cars that are very reliable. I've only been here 3 times so far, since November of last year but I'm pretty sure they've gained a new loyal client. I've even sent a sorority sister to their shop already and SHE loves it too!!! However, what was so impressive to me when I took my car in for some routine maintenance was the level to which everyone on his team performed and the culture Luke has built. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience from the loaner car I was given so I didn't have to wait while the repairs were done to the explanation and prioritization of the items that needed attention. The entire team put themselves in my shoes and cared about my needs from the moment I walked in the door. Very different from many businesses today that only care about the revenue the customer will generate. I will tell everyone I know about Luke's Auto!

Unfortunately, the service we received at this company was our worst experience we have ever had with any car mechanic. We went there to replace a splash shield on my husband's Honda civic 2013. However, when we returned home after paying a full price for the part and the labor, we discovered that all they did was reattaching the old splash shield and no new part was installed. When we went back to negotiate the problem, they refused to admit their wrongdoing and came up with an array of new multiple fixes that they insist to be done on our car at an outrageous price. We would never recommend this company to anyone. Absolutely dishonest business. Update: The company made up by installing the necessary part at no additional cost. Too bad that we had to go there twice and wrestle the issue that was obvious from the beginning.

Luke’s Auto honestly did an excellent job putting up with a frustrating car that has issues that were certainly outside the realm of what’s normally encountered. Even though our car was likely extremely annoying to deal with, the owner made a very personal impression that he cared and wanted to do the job right. It’s rare to find that these days and I’m very impressed. Would 100% recommend. 2.0 Very soon after my initial review, (within the hour) the owner had gotten in contact regarding the issue. Very pleased at the response and have a lot of restored hope. Much respect. 1.0 I really hate being negative, but sadly the issue we came in with is still causing a lot of problems and if anything got worse. Brought the car in with it refusing to come out of park and the shop suggested replacing the shifting mechanism. $1000 later, and it didn’t seem change a thing. Although the work order claimed the problem fixed and that “it worked all day” for them. I came to pick it up and couldn’t drive it off the lot. Again, very rarely am I one to be negative but it’s been very frustrating and expensive for minimal to no results.

Hands down, the most professional, curious and honest shop I have been to in my eleven years in Columbus. I brought my Subaru in because the check engine light came on, then went away, so I wanted codes to be pulled to see what the issue was. I also had an oil change and battery swap done as well as a 60k mile check. Unfortunately my scoobie didn't store the error code history, but since there was no history to pull, Luke's didn't charge me for the diagnostic work that they performed. Any other shop I have been to would of charged me for the labor to run the test. During this whole process I was kept up to date on what they have already done, what was needed, and what wasn't. I was offered options, and nothing was forced on me. Luckily my drive belts did not need to be changed (which is something Subaru claims needs to be done at 60k). The belts were inspected and deemed to be in good shape, and was informed that I should wait until that service is actually needed. I am also pretty sure all my fluids were topped off free of charge, yet another thing I have been charged for at numerous other shops in town. I just got my car back and it runs great. Bottom line, this is a non-predatory auto shop, with loads of experience, a friendly face, and fast turn around time. There is zero BS thrown around at this shop. Info is told as it should, on time, and not over explained to try and make you feel like they are doing more than they are. If you are looking for a mechanic you can trust to do quality work, without hesitation you should go to Luke's Auto.

First off, I talked with Jay, asking if they do A/C work... I emailed Aaron on what I needed repaired re: my car; namely core and cooling fan. Aaron quoted pricing and parts and provided a GREAT quote. GREAT because I had been given a quote from another shop and LUKE'S beat them hands down. They provided a loaner due to the possibility the repair time would be 2-3 days.... However, the work was done in about 24 hours. I dropped the car off with Jay at about 1:00pm, Aaron called at 1:45pm the next day that the car was ready. Did not go wrong working with LUKE'S; professional, courteous, and knowledgeable... not to mention the warranty, no way comparable to other shops. Thanks, great job!!

Lukes did a great job with my 2005 BMW 525i. I normally do work on my own car work and this is the first time I had to take it to a shop in 7 years. Jay quickly convinced me that he new this kind of car well and earned my trust. They had to replace a broken Engine Motor Mount and did so quickly, all while giving me a free loaner car so I could continue working. I received phone calls with updates on my car ferquently, and one of the most detailed inspection reports that even included pictures, something that I have not seen before from a shop. But they were honest with me about the damage and didn't want to charge me for more work than was worth for a trashed car (Because I had originally brought it in for work on my radiator). My sister suggested I take my car to Luke's Auto. They were very helpful and diagnosed the problem quickly: a bad battery. They replaced the battery and I had my car back the same day. If these guys are fulfilling your warranty service, I'm sure they are great. If you're looking for a no-frills bargain, not so much. Maybe my situation was unique, but I was unimpressed. I came in here looking for a clutch job on my Jetta GLI after a guy on the phone told me they had a "VW ninja" on staff. I ended up paying a diagnostic fee for said ninja to recommend the cheapest clutch kit in the catalog with a whopper markup, along with the higher side of industry-standard labor. I did my homework, and ended up towing to Motorkars, where everyone is a ninja. Their labor was the same, but there was little or no markup on the parts. Which means I got a high performance kit for less money. Luke's guys are all really nice and all, but like a lot of places, I think they go under the assumption that customers don't know what parts cost. They seemed really surprised when I questioned them on this.

I spent a few years working in car rental and have interacted with A LOT of auto care shops around Columbus. This one puts them all to shame. I don't think I've ever seen a shop so well-trained in and committed to customer service. I told them that I'm capable of some light maintenance, and now if they find something simple that needs fixed or replaced they'll just recommend I do it to save money. I had my AC fixed, they also notified me of my torn axle boot and recommended it be replaced in the next year and a half. The work done and the price quoted for the axle replacement were low compared to prices I found online for my Prius. They did a great job of informing me about what was wrong and really did a lot of work to find the tiny leak in my system and replace the worn parts. They're also the only shop in the area I've seen that gives free loaners even if you don't have collision insurance. I also found out that they do hybrid specialty work including HVB replacements which is a rare find. I'll be back to Luke's in the future for sure!

Expedicious. Honest. Professional. 36K mi / 3 yr (which ever comes first) parts and labor warranty on all repairs. Discounts on parts are shared with the car owner! Labor is only charged for the time of repair (not set amount of hours/repair such as dealerships do)! Would recommend to anyone! Only downside is no super early morning, later evening, or weekend hours.
