As always, I had a great experience at Everest. They give the best inspections of your car each time. They are always thorough and give great detail, prioritizing what needs to get done. They’re always accommodating with pick up and drop off, especially when you can’t get there till after work. Never had an issues with my vehicle after leaving and always come back to receive more services.

Cannot recommend Everest enough! I had multiple issues with a used car I bought, and was able to make an appointment within 24hrs. The mechanics explained exactly what the issues were and how they were going to fix them and laid out parts and labor pricing as well. Prices were reasonable and staff were very helpful!

Honestly I couldn't be happier with the decision. I used to use Midas for oil changes but I saw the reviews and decided to try Everest out. Got a quote for rotors and tires and the tires were on par but the rotors and breaks were substantially lower compared to Midas. Not unreasonably low but more fair to be sure. I've already recommended a few friends if they need anything done to use y'all and will continue to do so. Top notch customer service and fair pricing!

I had a tire stem suddenly start to leak. Called them up, and they quoted me $30 over the phone, for a stem replacement. I made an appointment, they fixed the tire, and filled all 4 wheels and the spare up to proper levels. No pressure, and they charged me what they quoted.

Went in for an oil change; the mechanic found a few issues I was unaware of and I was happy to have them fixed! I was sent photos and an estimate in a timely fashion. Everest Auto Repair is a breath of fresh air as far as auto repair shops go. They are honest, upfront about costs, and they do excellent, same day work. They even give you inspection details with pictures of any damage when possible. This kind of service is virtually unheard of in the industry. Since I found Everest Auto, I never have to worry about being lied to and ripped off when my car needs work, ever again. Since I'm within 10 miles, they even provide me an Uber ride back home when dropping off my car and a ride back to pick it up. It doesn't get any better than that! Wow.

These guys are the actual best, saved my car for $200 when every other auto place couldn't figure out what was wrong through 2-3 years of problems, and due to a power train warranty, 2 engines and 3 transmissions. Then Everest comes along and fixes the whole thing with new differential fluid. Also, their pre-work inspection reports w/ photos are especially excellent, don't ever have to guess what they're talking about, and can usually see the damage referred to. Honestly, it's confusing that every auto shop doesn't do this, but thankfully, this one certainly does and it's fantastic.

Needed a front wheel alignment and a new muffler welded on. Did great work at a very reasonable price. Jordan did the work on my car and it turned out great. He told me the new muffler I wanted didn’t have a chrome tip like my old one and I told him I would just get a universal one from an auto parts store that screws on to the new muffler tip. He took it upon himself to cut the chrome tip from my old muffler and welded it to my new one. They are obviously very customer focused If you feel like auto mechanics charge too much and maybe even try to push work on you that doesn’t need to be done, Please stop in and talk to these guys. They will shoot you straight and will quote you a reasonable price that I’m sure will beat any other mechanic in the area.

I must say, I had the most pleasant experience I have ever had in my life with a repair service. Both Kelly and Travis were so nice, informative and knowledgeable of what would rectify my vehicle problems, plus they were so kind and understanding when they realized that I was six hours away from home how important it was for me to feel safe driving back to North Carolina. I wish they were closer to NC for I know they would have at least one customer (me) forever. I thank them both from the bottom of my heart.

Have to say that this place was my saving grace on my road trip back to Erie, PA. Managed to destroy my tire in a pothole and get stuck in Newark. The staff here were able to squeeze me into an appointment with two new tires as soon as I was able to get a tow. And they did it in an incredibly quick amount of time for an absolutely fair price! I appreciate everything about this shop from it's clean appearance to the flowers, bird feeders, great verbal communication, use of technology to communicate further and prompt service. I had AC service done on a old junker Passat. I was surprised that it resulted in a working AC system but the thorough inspection of the vehicle and prioritized list of needed repairs was pretty impressive.

This place was outstanding. Went to get my brakes inspected. Every problem they found with my car was followed up with a picture of the problem so I knew that it truly existed and they were not just trying to upsell me on things. When I left the lot I experience a problem with my brake pedal after they did work on my car. They quickly told me to come back and fixed the problem fast and easy. I've been taking both my vehicles here for a couple years at this point. Mostly just routine maintenance but also a few bigger jobs. The best thing about this place is the honesty. The mechanic will always sit down with you after the appointment to explain each piece of what was done, if there are any outstanding issues, and any work they would expect in the near future. They have never gone ahead and done expensive work without my explicit consent, and they're very transparent about their pricing and warranties. I've recommended this shop to all my friends locally!

I can’t say enough positive things about my experience here. Having your car break down on your way to a wedding is a stressful experience (luckily it wasn’t my wedding). Travis and Jordan heard and appreciated our desperate situation and instead of taking advantage of us, took up the challenge to get us on the road again in a shockingly little amount of time and at a great price. Everest on Kirkwood Highway was able to get me an appointment a week sooner than the dealership and with a less expensive estimate. After I picked my car up, the owner, who worked on my car himself, test drove it with me and explained everything from his inspection. I’ve done nearly all of my own work most of my life so I know a thing or two and could tell Travis is a true pro. Very knowledgeable and didn’t try to BS me at all. Guys like me appreciate that. Since moving out of state, I haven’t had a trusty mechanic in the area until I started taking my car to Everest. Since my last couple visits, they started sending very detailed diagnostic reports to my phone as soon as inspection was complete (love this feature!). They give time to review it and then give me a call to discuss it. This time, I was really worried taking my car in for AC problems would result in an expensive repair (it was minor, YAY!). Bigggg shout out to Jordan, who kept me informed as to why it was taking a couple days to get a diagnosis. He was super transparent and would offer to explain something a different way if I wasn’t understanding the car-speak. I can't say a enough good things about these guys. It's a blessing to find an auto repair shop you can trust, and this is it. I've taken my car there for oil changes, troubleshooting odd sounds, replacing belts and fixing an airbag sensor. Each time they do a thorough job and if they feel that I may need additional service/repair, they call me up to explain what is wrong, the justification for the repair, and to ask for permission before doing additional work. I'm not super knowledgable about pricing for repairs, but whenever I talk to someone who is or check online estimates, Everest is consistently at or below the expected cost.

Amazing! The staff is very friendly, very knowledgeable, very professional, and the price tag is very reasonable for the amount of other advice they gave me regarding the car. Quick service too! I needed to replace my tires and they gave me a reasonable quote. 125/tire, and this includes labor. My car also often produces a terrible smell when the car stalls. They checked it for me, and said it would cost $300 but since it's not hazardous, they didn't press me to do it; instead just asked me to lower my windows or to just switch off the A/c when my car is running. I really like that they didn't swing crazy words at me or made me fear for my life if I didn't fix my car. Very friendly. Very professional. I would definitely come back again!

Everest was an overall great experience.. they took me very next morning after calling and lady at front desk was extremely generous both over the phone and in person.. had my tire plugged after last shop I went to could not even find where the leak was coming from.. Everest found a nail in the tread right away after they did the soap test and also provided a print out of all the other maintenance and repairs needed along with honest prices for parts and labor.. they were small things on my vehicle that I can perform on my own bt with any other vehicle issues or maintenance needed I will for sure be returning to Everest because of their overall quality service and excellent customer services from their front desk… she made the experience an even better one..!!!

I have taken 2 of my cars here and every time, it is such a pleasant experience! These guys are the best in the business, let me tell you - and I've been around the block a few times. You simply do not see the level of customer appreciation, honesty, and committment that all the guys at Everest show anymore these days. And there's the cutest little dog in the lobby - it reminds me of the Taco Bell dog! I thought that the golden age of America was gone - the days where you took your car to the neighborhood shop, and they tell you exactly what's wrong, offer to fix it if they can instead of trying to sell you more parts, don't charge high diagnostic fees, and they perform high quality work with reasonable prices! Well I'll tell you - we don't need Donald Trump to Make America Great Again - we have all the friendly guys at Everest to do that! Here's hoping they open another location one day! I called ahead of time to see if there were any openings, and it happened that they were able to fit me in that same day. That was surprising to me, because it seems as if they never get a break in business. I had taken my Blue Cavalier there a few weeks ago and they had looked at the steering wheel and were going to do some work on it, but I had to go to work and they had underestimated how long the work would take, and they had to put the wheel back together so i could leave and go to work. Today I took it there for what I didn't at all equate to be a related problem - and they fixed this problem without even charging me, because they couldn't be sure that it was related to having taken the wheel apart those couple of weeks or so ago. Let me tell you, don't go anywhere else, give these honest guys your business - we need businesses like this if America is ever to reclaim it's former glory days of white picket fences and corner shops that just do good, honest work!

Great experience checking n fixing my car there. Engineers there are patient and they listen to every word from customers; They explain a lot to outsiders, and never lure customers into unnecessary repairs or services. Previous owner of the car told me that this was a best place to go. May not get immediate service on busy days (had better call them before going), but I guess it shouldn't be a major problem.

They are upfront about what to expect, promptly get back to you whenever they spot something you should be concerned about and are very reasonable with their prices. This is my very first review of any mechanics place ever. I was never really compelled to write as review about auto repair shops because while some of them were decent, I was never truly impressed with the overall experience to take the trouble to write a review - well, until now, at least. I am so genuinely impressed with the consistent care and honesty shown by Everest Auto, I feel that it is an absolute necessity to recommend this place in any way I can. In short, I very willingly give this place five stars (in fact, I would give it six stars if I could). I don't know much about cars, and when I went to other places for little troubles or concerns I have about my car I often felt dismissed because the mechanics didn't really listen to my concerns thoroughly nor explain the possible causes of the problem I have, using the terms that I can understand. At Everest Auto, they do show genuine care and never fail to provide details explanations and answers. Every time I have been there, not only have I been treated with honesty when it comes to prices and what exactly my needs are for the car, but also I have witnessed other customers being treated with the same consistent honesty and friendliness. And the customers, including myself, always express their true gratitude before they leave. It is definitely a huge relief to have a auto shop that I can really trust! Even though it's a little out of the way from my house, I would never go to anywhere else again for car troubles!

The A/C in my vehicle stopped working so I brought it by to get checked out. Everest looked at it and called back to say they discovered the system wasn’t getting pressure because something wasn’t wired correctly when it was repaired a few years ago (prior owner, another shop). The Everest tech just re-wired it correctly and that fixed the issue. I appreciate that they consistently deal with my vehicles with integrity. There are 20 auto repair shops between where I live and Everest Auto, but I’ve taken my vehicles here the past few years because I’ve found them to be honest and fair.

Theyre an excellent local shop for repairs. They provided me with a through diagnositic and priced the repair and labor fairly. The only problem you might run into is that they are too busy and might have your vechile a few days more than you may have liked. Even then, they will tell you that upfront and had my care ready days earlier than expected. I would definitely go here again.

I feel like they are honest and trustworthy, which is a hard quality to find in auto shops these days (as a younger female, it is sad to say that other places have attempted to swindle me more than once!) If work can be delayed or isn't a priority, they won't force it on you. While their prices may not be as low as the big-box stores, the service is unmatched. Truly an extraordinary business. I have owned many old and decrepit cars over the past decade and a half which has resulted in many a visit to the repair shop. I, like many others, have had their ups and downs as it relates to service and price when it has come to these types of businesses, and I find great relief in my discovery of Everest Auto. After moving to the area I scouted multiple shops with small jobs and a few on the larger side, and I must say Everest out-performed all others. They have even had the opportunity to charge extra and instead have taken the honest approach. Here are some examples: Radiator: Beat Porter on price by 350 dollars because they found that hoses would be an unnecessary replacement. Parking break: Thought it might need to be adjusted, they assured me that it did not (easy opportunity to up-sell and again took the honest approach). Break inspections: Had my breaks inspected twice with honest responses that indicated that they still had additional life. Again could have easily suggested service. These examples are of course in addition to other jobs performed by Everest on my vehicle that were done correctly and without issue. Furthermore, just from waiting in their lobby and over hearing multiple conversations between themselves and other customers, I can assure any reader of this review that this excellent business model extends to all. I fully trust this repair shop.

They are very thorough in the work they do and I never feel pressured to take their suggestions (although, I usually follow them!) And leave a rather pleased customer. Unfortunately due to where I work and the length of commute, I do find myself in the shop more often than I'd like but that's due to general wear and tare. They're always working on cars, so I highly recommend you schedule a block of time early rather than later.

Enjoyed my service even during the covid19 they were able to help me out. Brought my 2010 nissan altima in, I knew I had a lot wrong with it when I was considering getting work done. I've used Everest for oil changes for a few years now. They're always on time and do a great job! When calling to make an appointment, the receptionist is always friendly. I've always been able to get a quick appointment. I have always followed that advice, and when moving to Delaware it was a priority. As one shop would change hands or close i would find another. Everest always tells me if i have something i have to take care of in the future, so i can be prepared, and list the priority for each repair. They use the parts that VW recommends or give me the option if there is a less expense way to go with both the upside and downside. They got me back into the shop right away. One of the hoses was over torqued. They fixed the problem and apologized for the inconvenience. I see why they have all those great reviews, Dan had me informed every step of the way and he had all the facts before the calls, they did great work, the truck no longer leaks (the overflow tank had a hole rubbed through) and while under there they discovered my bad ball joints (that many mechanic before them had warned me about), I had then replaced and after driving over a 100 miles the day after the repairs the feel of the steering was as if new, a whole big load of piece of mind after they looked the truck over told me what they recommended and not pushy if you said no, I have found my new repair shop

I came in last summer to get an oil change for my 2001 mercury sable and get a couple of issues checked out. The guys here were phenomenal. My car needed a ton of work done to it than it was actually worth. Instead of encouraging me to get $900.00 worth of work done that would have been profit for them, I was told it would be more economical to get a new car and trade my sable in than to keep putting cash into a money pit. This place is defiantly a hidden gem I'm Delaware for auto repair. Currently, I have been getting my brakes, oil changes and now my starter services here. The shop offers a great 22,000 mile warranty on the brakes and 24,000 or 2 year warranty on starter and labor, where as the dealerships offer no such warranty.What else could someone ask for?

Recently had some transmission work done at Aamco and when my Ford Explorer was returned to me it sounded like the engine was over revving. When I asked Aamco about it I was told the Explorer needed the Cooling Fan Clutch repair and said it would cost an extra $250 to fix. I remember taking my Ford Focus to Everest Auto Repair for an evap issue a while back and remembered the great service I received there. The owners are not out to empty your pockets, no gimmicks just straightforward and honest. It's rare you find an auto shop you can depend on and trust. At Everest I don't feel I'm getting ripped off and the work is done right the first time. I made that call to Everest about my Fan Clutch and I was told to bring it in that very same day. I was quoted a price of $195.38. That beats paying Aamco's price of $250 any day. Not only was I pleased with the price but the work on my Explorer was finished in less than an hour. I definitely recommend you try this shop out. Even right from the start you'll receive friendly service as soon as you approach the desk. I promise you won't be disappointed.

These guys are really tops! My last visit sums it up. They checked out a few things I was told to have fixed by a hack who changed my oil. The guys at Everest took a look and were ready to let me leave their shop without fixing anything. About 6 months ago they gave me heads up about a control arm that would need to be replaced, but in this last visit they said it still had some life left in it (although i took care of it anyway). I just loved it that they don't make you feel stupid and like your car is going to fall to pieces the minute you drive away. The front desk staff (ladies) are really great too. These are the good guys. On I-95, we got a sudden, horrible banging in the rear wheel with any small bump. They diagnosed, got the part and replaced a broken shock mount in about an hour while we ate lunch. Good job, fair price, quick and told the truth. Just be aware they will check your car over. If it's old like mine, they'll find things to fix someday, like a belt that's aged but not cracking. You don't have to say "do it now" to everything.

My AC cooling is not working and visited the everest auto repair since i believe guys here always do good triage and provide honest estimate. After troubleshooting they happen to find a hole in condensor and also need to refill gas. They did offer me option to charge only triage cost and asked me to leave it as it is and fix it later since winter just started. I happen to fix it but appriciate reasonable charge and options they have provided. I was also told that they cover the repair if any issues with the repair they do which is even better and gives the confidence on fix and peace of mind. First off I never write reviews. No one has grabbed my attention enough to take the time to do so. Unfortunately my service at Everest today has put my evening on hold in order to write a review. The guys (and gals) at Everest were completely professional yet still managed to feel like a saturday talking shop with some buddies in the driveway. Not only did they perform the work i requested, they managed to fix a problem leftover from a less than stellar visit to a neighboring business. At no extra cost! I had to steal an Everest sticker off the counter as I left which now resides on my rear window. Amazing job and I will absolutely be a returning customer and hopefully provide them with some fresh faces as well. Only five stars guys sorry, I used a sharpie to draw a few more on the screen but i guess thats not a Google friendly format!

Had a problem with my car , since it's engine light is on it didn't pass the test at Delaware. Don't know if the problem was big or small.we took the car to couple of car repair shops and didnt like their way of explanation and price quote. Then found some best reviews on Google about Everest and thought to give a shot. Initially they did a diagnostic test as others already did and fixed the problem, but again the light came back. Their thinking is that the car has some other problem than expected.. They worked on it for almost 5.30 hours tried 7 different times and was surprised to see all the 5 people are working on my car for hours.. Am afraid that they are gonna charge me as others for all the hours*people worked on my car. That will be more than the cost of the car..lol. After fixing the problem the team lead came to me and told it's all set to go and they charged the same what he already quoted in the morning, here I say that HONESTY lies in them. Their team work really impressed me. Their nature of nEVER rESTing (Everest) work until they exactly find and fix the problem was more than awesome.Finally my car passed the test today and am very happy to spend few minutes on appreciating these good and wonderful auto genius people at Everest.
