The front desk and all the staff at Dillon's Automotive, went to great extremes to make sure my visit was a pleasant one. I called ahead for an inspection to confirm if there was a wait and the time it took to get an inspection done. I went around 4pm on a Tuesday and the establishment is very clean. I was helped quickly and the inspection took around 20 minutes. There is a waiting area and staff was very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend Dillon’s Automotive :-)

Very honest and reliable auto shop! My car was hit by another car in parking lot and later I found the right headlight didn’t work. I drove to their shop and they had it checked and fixed in no time. Despite my appreciation to pay for it, they insisted that it’s a minor problem and they would not charge for that. Very good service, Will surely come back when needed.

Read the reviews posted here and decided stop in for a oil change. Emaculate waiting area with shuttle service. Super warm and welcoming staff. Will definitely be going back for another oil change own a different vehicle. Second visit was for oil, change, tires and inspection. Again, in the waiting area the floor shines like a Hospital. Service was very quick. I was there less than one hour. Thank you Dillon’s Automotive. I appreciate how well you treat your customers.

I will go to Dillon's almost anytime I need to have maintenance done on my vehicle. They are extremely friendly and helpful. They don't make you feel pressured to do unnecessary work, like some of the other mechanics I have been to. They are really great about communicating the problems and all the possible ways to resolve them, and their prices are very reasonable. Overall it's the best mechanic Ive ever been to. I just wish they were open part of the day on Saturday, but I understand giving their workers a full weekend off.

Simply the best. I had to update my review for Dillons now that I've been using them for a couple years. It's still a 5 but I want to share how great they have been. So far I've had an exhaust manifold replaced, brake job, new front hubs installed and ball joints replaced. The hubs were replaced to stop a grinding sound. A few months later the sound came back and they redid the brakes as well as the hubs totally for free just to be sure they really got it! That's real service! (Thanks Jesse!) The prices are fair, the work is good, and they really treat the customer right. I'll be coming back for a long time.

We have been coming here about year now. Always gives us same day service and if they dont have a loaner car to give me they have a courtesy vehicle that will take u home and then come pick u up when ur vehicle is ready which is great for me cause I dont have to wait up their for hours with my toddler!! Even though they do have puzzles and books to entertain the little ones. It's always nice and clean when we come in and I always receive friendly service. Would highly recommend!

Professional, courteous and honest. The best automotive repair experience ever! *Follow up review A few days later one of the parts they installed during the repair failed. Our Service Advisor Jason went beyond our expectations to handle the situation and got us back on the road again. The failed component was not their fault but Dillon's Automotive did everything possible to correct the problem quickly. Good honest mechanics are hard to find. I've been to several in the Katy, Cinco Ranch area and Dillon's is the only one I trust. They are straight forward and won't try to upsell you. When I lived in Richmond I always took my vehicles here and the service was always superb. They are honest and always looking for the best interest of the customer. Last week was my first time back since moving away to the Midwest for 4 years and the service continues to be the same. I now live in Austin but anytime I need more then a oil change, this will always be my go to repair shop. I had an unpleasant experience with my local dealership recently, so I decided to try out Dillon’s for some factory scheduled maintenance my car needed. The experience was great! Very friendly and helpful staff and they were even kind enough to advise me that I didn’t even need one of the services (brake fluid replacement) my car’s maintenance minder indicated and that I wouldn’t need that service for another 15,000 miles. This is a pretty big deal as many other places would have simply performed the service anyway to make extra money. They also kindly offered to shuttle me back to my home while my car was being serviced. I’m incredibly pleased with my experience and will certainly be bringing my car back!

I will not go to another repair place as long as I live in Katy. I went to 3 other repair shops in the neighborhood and they all were trying to charge me an arm and a leg just to take off a stripped bolt. I don't mind paying but don't try to screw me over. We did some extensive research to find a trustworthy and reliable auto shop to repair the push start on my wife’s car. For the past 10 years I’ve always brought my cars to the dealership where I purchased the vehicles for all services from minor to major maintenance and repairs. We found Dillon’s because we were in search for a new repair shop and saw all of the positive ratings and decided to give them a try. Let’s just say Dillon’s is going to be where I bring my cars from now on. I am now a new loyal customer to Dillon’s after the great auto repair service provided. These guys were fantastic! In terms of being professional, honest, and bang for your buck. I have an old truck and they gave me the honest opinion of the expensive option ($800) versus what they believed to work ($150). The $150 patchwork, as they suggested, worked tremendously and not only fixed my truck’s overheating issue but a related AC issue. They offer rides home and free coffee like a fancy chain but give you an honest opinion like a small business. Best of both worlds!

Service was excellent and the price was fair. Cory Dillon is honest and operates his business the good old fashioned way...word and a handshake. He knows that it is his name on the sign and his reputation at stake if something is not done to the customer's complete satisfaction. I have been to other auto service places in the Katy area and always felt that I was being taken advantage of in one way or the other, but NOT at Dillon's. Free shuttle service was very convenient, used it twice. I have taken my wife's Jeep and my truck to them for different issues, and have always been pleased with the work done and the price I paid. Friendly honest people at Dillon's who take customer service seriously and genuinely care about you and your vehicle. My vehicles will only be taken care of Dillon's from now on. If you are not satisfied with the service, Cory will make it right quickly. I HIGHLY recommend Dillon's to anyone.

They are the kindest and most genuine people! They were upfront about a long wait and offered a shuttle service to and from my house while my car was getting serviced with an oil change and state inspection. Mr. Sonny drove us back home and picked us up when the car was ready, and he is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. They are honest about what your car needs done and their prices for services was fabulous and not overpriced at all like most auto service places. I highly recommend them!

I love this place! They have taken care of our vehicles for over two and a half years. The staff is friendly & knowledgeable, trustworthy and professional. They treat you like family. The waiting area is comfortable with complimentary coffee, tea and bottled water while you wait. If service takes a few hours they have loaner cars or a shuttle service available. Once a couple of my tires were low & I dropped by without an appointment. They fixed the flat within minutes and had my van ready to go. We experienced brake problems Christmas Day this year while traveling out of town to Houston. The day after Christmas we contacted Dillon’s to see if they were available to inspect our vehicle. The contact at Dillon’s was Jesse and he said immediately that they had open bays if we wanted to drop it off. One of the employees came out to the car and rode in it while I explained the problem. Within a couple of hours the issue was identified and the repair options were reviewed. One thing I appreciated was that Dillon’s looked up and found that this issue was a manufacturer recall issue and could be reimbursable if I contacted the manufacturer. We proceeded with the repair and the vehicle was ready shortly after lunch. In my experience, this was one of the quickest repairs I’ve seen. The staff was very friendly, helpful in answering questions, and professional. We were very happy with the service we received at Dillon’s. The building itself is very clean and well kept, and didn’t feel like the typical repair shop I’m familiar with. I would highly recommend Dillon’s.

November 2021, I had a service done by Dillon's Automotive in November 2021. A headlight was out, and the general service was overdue. It was great to be able to see at night again, with my new headlight working beautifully. But I am really happy with the job they did with my auto fluids. They changed the oil, break fluid and every other fluid in my car. I immediately noticed the improvement. Everything was smoother, especially the steering. It felt so smooth instead of stiff. . I have learned not to neglect my car services. I do recommend Dillon's as they have all the things you need at a auto repair shop. March 13, 2020 This is still the best place to go. They have excellent service people in the front office and in the repairs area. Everyone there cares about how you are treated. The people there are so nice, and listen to your concerns and act on them. They have helped me out with a vehicle to used a couple of time, and it did not cost me anything, except for gas. Their prices are comparable, and probably less than other repair companies. To have work done on your car you just go there and leave your car, or wait for it. No appointment needed. The waiting room is large, comfortable and there is TV and tea/coffee. State Inspection and so fast you can barely finish your coffee (that has been my experience). I am so happy with the experiences that I have had with Dillon's Auto that I definitely recommend them.

I brought my son's car to Dillon's for some work on the rear suspension and was given a quote for the repair, which I approved. Once the tech got the work started he realized some of the parts that were ordered really did not need to be changed. Dillon's called me and let me know that I could save about $350 from the original quote by not replacing the unneeded parts. They knew I had already approved the original quote and would have paid but reached out to give me the option to save some $$$. I highly recommend these guys, they are awesome.

My husband and I are so fortunate to have found this business. They are very quick to get to you regarding repairs with work needing to be done and the cost. Never have we ever had one time that we felt like they were trying to upsell us on the repairs we requested or sell us additional unnecessary repairs. Not to say they won’t mention to you if they see something but it is never a conversation where we felt we were being used, cheated, or pressured to pay for additional repairs. Our last visit was a fine example of their honesty. We had our granddaughters old car towed in again. They were very gracious but suggested the car was to old to pay the amount it would cost to fix it. HONESTY !! If you are not going to Dillon's Automotive then you are just wasting your time and money. I was visiting family in the Katy area and my truck had a coolant leak. It turned out it was a heater core and evaporator coil issues.I called them at 7:00am and Andrew answered the phone and I told him my story and he got me in right away. Andrew has more professionalism in a front counter clerk then I have seen in a long time. They started working on it immediately and had it back to me the next day. This shop is the best shop in the whole Houston area.

I recently moved to Houston from Saint Louis and have been searching for a new mechanic that I can trust. I'm glad I found Dillons. Front desk guys were super nice, waiting room was clean and had coffee/bottled water, and my oil change was 20+ dollars cheaper than what the dealership charges. The last time I took my Traverse to have an oil change at my local Chevy dealership I waited over 3 hours. I was in an out of Dillon's in 45 minutes. My Malibu is due for an oil change soon so I'll be back for sure.

It is so refreshing to have a car maintenance company give you honest feedback and be honest when something looks fine and doesnt need to be done! I was so tired of taking my car for a minor repair and coming out with a list of things that need to be done because the staff are compensated for upselling. This place is awesome! I was heading out of town for a trip when I noticed that an issue with my car had quickly become worse. So, instead of leaving town I took my car into Dillon's since I knew that place. They have a shuttle service which took me home so I did not have to wait there for them to take a look at my car. When it turned out that my car had to be kept with Dillon's over the weekend, they told me about their car rental service for only $25 per day. Because of this rental service, my plans did not have to be cancelled. I did not have to borrow someone's car. This may be the reason they offer this service, so no one in addition to the customer has to be inconvenienced. The entire experience was convenient. It felt more like a vacation rather than an inconvenience. Thanks Dillon's!

After waiting for roadside assistance for 3 hours, to no avail, because of a dead battery, I called Dillon’s for help. Great service! Dillon’s is trusted, honest and efficient; and, it’s great to still have mechanic shops around with such integrity!! Brought my daughter’s vehicle in after trying to repair it myself. Was worried that several major problems were going to come out of it. I took my car in at 11 am on a Friday because I knew the vehicle had a vacuum leak. I was told it would be a couple hours before it was diagnosed by them and about 2 hours later they confirmed the vacuum leak and also pointed out another issue. Was given the price to fix the problems and asked if I wanted to proceed. I was told it would be completed by end of business Friday. I was called about 1 hour before close and told it was almost completed; however they accidentally broke another part and would have to replace it at their cost but It would not be completed before close of business and they are closed for the weekend. I was offered a loaner vehicle at no cost to me for the weekend which was nice. My vehicle was completed Monday morning and seems to be running fine. My only complaints are the prices are a little steep (what mechanic isn't?) and the diagnostic fee ($90) did not go towards the repairs... so instead of a $450 bill it was $550. I think it would be great if 75% or 50% of the diagnostic fee went towards repairs done by them. Overall I would recommend this company as they were very professional and didn't push service on me I didn't want or need. Also had Christian music playing in the business which was a plus.

These guys are awesome! They also have reasonable prices considering the area where a lot of other repair shops overprice their services. These are smart, honest and dependable guys that stand behind their work. For example, my AC went out in our Yukon and one of Dillons guys did some internet research and found that they extended the warranty on that part by 10k miles. When I asked the dealership about it they said it still wasn’t covered. I asked Dillons where they got that information and they printed it out for me. I called Dillons and they could look at my car right away. I thought the dashboard was blown, but it turned out to be a bad battery. From the time I towed it in to the time I drove away, 2.5 hrs.... and a reasonable price for the diagnostics, trouble shooting and new battery. The shop recently worked on our BMW X-3 and did a fantastic job from start to finish. We used the overnight drop off on the weekend and the car issue was promptly diagnosed. We needed a new radiator and got it replaced. The manager was very honest that the hoses and other parts were all in good condition. My only complaint is the price mark up on parts. I’d understand a 20% or even 40% markup but 300%? When I was there this week for a basic oil change, I asked if they had a recommendation for getting a part of my sunroof repaired. Awesome!! Awesome!! Today, I visited Dillion’s and got so moved from their incredible customer service. My audio power did not get turned on. One guy just tried to put fuse out and back, then it worked. He didn’t charge me and said that I am good to go. I felt thankful and sorry, then I asked him to replace one breaker lamp which I was going to replace by myself because I wanted to pay. He just brought one new lamp and replace it immediately. Found this incredible place as a result of doing graphics on his vehicle through my job. Met the owner that day, Corey, and asked if they might be able to give me a better quote on fixing a problem with my vehicle that the I-10 and Mason Kia dealership quoted me almost $1000 to do. I'm a talented mechanic myself, but I had no time to set aside and do it myself. Corey quoted me LESS THAN HALF that amount to do the work! I dropped off my car Sep 23rd expecting to pick it up that weekend, but I unexpected became extremely ill & even hospitalized for 9 days that same week. I was sure to communicate that with the shop so they were abreast of the situation. Nevertheless, it would be over 3 weeks time before I was able to return to pick up my car. I didn't return to external damages, storage charges or extra fees for the car being there almost a month. Took in 2017 Pilot that was showing multiple errors (emission, transmission, etc.) to Katy Honda because I have a warranty. They told me that I had a bad wiring harness that appeared to be damaged (not covered by warranty). They said it was going to cost $3200; harness would be $800 and since the harness was under/behind the engine they would have to take it out so that was going to be the other $2400. I've had great experience with Dillions before so I called them and they said that didn't sound right. Dropped it off and was told they could repair the wiring harness for $500, which they did without issue. The best auto repair place I've ever dealt with.

Went to get A/C issue fixed on my car. After diagnosis got a call informing about expenses - $1100 including radiator flushing and all other minor things that didn't need any updates. So the price was knocked down to $800 app immediately. Got another call informing there is pinched wire and they would like to charge additional $50 to connect it back (although it was part of the A/C system). As didn't have any options, I told them to go ahead a charge $50. When I went to collect the car and asked the mechanic where the pinch wire was - he wasn't able to locate it. Car was fixed but I felt bad the way pinch wire ($50) issue was handled. After few days of posting above review, I got a call from Corey (owner) asking the details about my average rating. HE WAS TRULY INTERESTED IN RESOLVING ANY CONFUSIONS I HAD. HE FOLLOWED UP FREQUENTLY TO MAKE SURE THINGS ARE SETTLED. I FELT HE TRULY CARES ABOUT HIS CUSTOMERS AND HIS EMPLOYEES. Let me start by saying that Mr. Rick Deleon is amazing. Very cool, very intelligent and extremely honest. He operates at a level of customer service that is beyond what you'd expect. I wouldn't be surprised if "Courteous" was his middle name, because he's got to be one of the most courteous people I've ever met. For that reason alone, you should come here. Just swing by and take a load off. He'll take care of you. Anyway, the oil change service is great and affordable. They top off your fluids, check everything out and do it in a reasonable amount of time. They are my new go-to spot for mechanic services. I love this place and appreciate them very much. Also, I love that I can bring my own premium oil, filters and additives and they do the oil change service for a super cool $16. If you were gonna do the work yourself anyway, might as well come here and spend a few bucks to have someone honest do the work for you. It's very much worth it. Besides, they have a Keurig machine, so sit back and enjoy a coffee! All in all, this is an A+ shop and absolutely worthy of their 5-star online rating across the board. I highly recommend them. I used these guys based on the very positive internet reviews, their proximity to where I lived, their professionalism shown on the phone when I explained the nature of the problem I'd had with my car, and based on the fact that they provide a shuttle service for customers within Katy. I had a known issue with my car's power steering, and described this to them on two separate occasions over the phone (first time was before I'd sourced the parts and the second time was to a very courteous gentleman called Jesse). Both employees stopped to check on the computer and told me separately that this would have been a 1.5 hr job to replace my power steering pump and power steering reservoir. I went so far as to call a competitor to ask the repair time for these parts and they told me the same time, though their labour rate/hr was a bit higher than Dillon's. Once I made the decision to take my car there, however, is where my good experience ended. Within a couple of hours of dropping my car off, they called me to advise that to replace both the pump and the reservoir would take an extra hour since they'd supposedly only quoted me the time to change the pump and not the reservoir as well...this was despite the fact that I handed them a new pump AND the reservoir that same morning and asked them how long it would take and what it would cost to replace them BOTH. Now with my cost having gone up by over $110, but not wanting to lose extra time to try to find another mechanic, I agreed. Later their technician called and told me that I had a "Huge" oil leak and that my low oil light was on. I was told it would take $20 to reset the light and it would require further evaluation to see how much it would cost to fix the leak. I have been aware of this issue for some time which is actually a minor leak, as I change the oil myself, and my previous mechanic from my old town had told me it was very minor so I decided to play along. I told them to leave the low oil light as it is (as I know how to reset it), and since I use a special synthetic oil i told them not to top up the oil. Knowing that I'd changed the oil only 1800 miles / two months ago, I waited until I got to their shop and found that there was no low oil warning light on. When i asked the tech what happened he said it must have just gone away on its own. I then checked the dipstick in front of them. The oil level was exactly what it should have been and never changed for 2 months and asked the technician to explain to me again how could there be such a terrible leak but the oil level not drop in two months nor did the car leave oil on my garage floor. Then he decided to tell me that there was "evidence of a leak" on the engine body but agreed that if the oil level never dropped, then it couldn't have been that "Huge" as he told me. I can't comment on the reviews of others, but here it is they dealt with a customer who probably knows his car a bit better than the average car owner, and this put me in a position to be able to see beyond their courtesy and professional look on the surface - I am 100% certain that they embellished the issues with the oil leak and the oil light based on my explanation above and now strongly suspect that their replacement time estimate of the power steering pump and reservoir was either deliberately low in order to get me to come to their shop or I was charged for time that they didn't spend on my car's repair. Mr. Dillon did reply to a review that i put on Yelp thereafter and made a genuine attempt to clear up their name and reputation - even offered my money back, which was not the point and which I'm not interested in. I am glad for his response and believe it to be genuine, which is why I've changed from one star to three - However, I believe there to be a disconnect from what his goal is for his business versus some people on the ground who worked on my car.

No one needs the best mechanic in the world (That's to say that they're not dang good), but everyone needs an honest mechanic. Problem solved. I recently took an 18 year old truck to them because it made a loud squeel when decelerating. I checked the diff and everything that I could think of and everything that Google suggested: no resolution. They test drove it and it was the caps that cover the lug nuts. No charge. A few days later, the sound came back. Odd sounds in old trucks are difficult to diagnose. I took it back and they discovered some bad joints, or whatever. When they explained it, I was relieved, because it made sense. They charged me a fair price and the sound is gone. A dealer or a large shop would've charged for a whole new drive shaft. The odd sound on an 18 year old vehicle is resolved and I found an honest mechanic. Problem solved, in more ways than one!
