This was my first time going through Mobotech. My friend referred me then I checked out their reviews and after walking in to meet the owner Victor and chatting with him I was sold. He was able to repair my Ford Explorer which had some suspension issues. I'm also going to be taking my Camry in to get some transmission work done. The communication is top-notch and I will most likely be a lifelong customer and also be referring others.

Always satisfied with the work that they carried out on my 3rd Gen 4runner. Quotes are within budget and doesnt cost an arm or a leg. Always update me with the work carried out and sends a short video clip to verify with the defect and offers solutions to fix the problem.

I need to write a comment, if you also have an European car or oil spill problem, you must come to Vic, my 2009 audi Q5 oil leak, found a lot of repair shops did not fix it, and finally found vic he helped me fix it, at present, I also repair another mini Countryman with him, he is a car repair expert, worthy of trust！

By far the best mechanic I’ve ever been to. A few on Oahu are way overpriced. Vic has gotten me back on the road in less than a day on multiple occasions. Good man for sure and he sends me pictures as he works on the vehicle. Keeps me updated on the work progress and let’s me know anything he sees that may need to be fixed. Couldn’t rate him high enough.

Victor and his crew runs his business unlike any other I’ve experienced in my life. They respond quickly and are always courteous and patient whenever I take my ride in. They explain all options for what your car needs and they let you decide what you want done to the car. The prices are definitely miles more affordable than the island dealerships and most importantly, they fix your issues in a timely manner. I’m a stingy customer, so needless to say, Mobotech has impressed me. Keep up the good work!

The shop is a bit out of the way in the back alleys of Kalihi, but it's totally worth it for a reliable and trustworthy mechanic. Highly recommend!

My wife decided to check this place out a few years ago based on the high ratings. Mobotech is by far the best auto repair shop we've had experience with, and have been a loyal customer since. Victor is not only friendly and knowledgeable, but he takes the time to explain what is being done with the car, any concerns, even texting photos or videos. Excellent service all around, trustworthy and honest. Highly recommend this place.

I did alot of research on the different auto mechanic shops in regards to parts and labor charges. Mobotech's reviews clearly was above the others. However, what really set their organization apart was the kindness and honesty they displayed. Me being stationed here for only a few months, was skeptical of all the rumors on how the locals take advantage of the military personnel because we "have money" but Vic was very respectful and honest about what was wrong with our vehicle and what it would cost to fix it. I brought the van in at around 0900 on Friday morning expecting to not have it back until late the following week, however Vic and his team worked tirelessly until around 1900 (they closed at 1700) and it was repaired that day! I was very impressed that I was able to get the van back that day just in time for the weekend. They even took the van and gave it a bath for me. Remember the last time you were WOW’d by an awesome experience? It happened to me today at Mobotech. 7 months ago I was calling around to get a used car checked. Out of a half dozen shops, Victor (Mobotech was still the highest rated on Yelp) was the only one who would see me, despite his crew’s busy schedule. His candid feedback was appreciated and my wife and I decided when we needed to bring our car in we’d choose Mobotech. Brought our car in for a timing belt and water pump replacement. During the day, Victor texted me updates, pictures, and pointed out what could be fixed. Was an awesome, honest experience. I highly recommend Victor and Mobotech and will be referring family and friends. The experience was great, everyone is friendly, and prices competitive. Won’t even consider going anywhere else - my family is a customer for life. Directions: The shop is on the left hand side of Wilcox, a narrow street. Drive slowly through the intersection, it’s easy to pass.

They are extremely helpful I only had two days off and they stayed late Tuesday to fix my brakes. Add a 2 inch lift making the wrong ubolts work and put on my tires. They also fixed my leaking real seal. Excellent service will be recommending them!

Vic came thru at a time of need in which I had a power steering leak issue needing a high pressure line replaced. It was deemed an emergency and he was able to fit me in the very same day, issue was fixed for a fraction of what the dealership initially was charging. I highly recommend this place, Mahalo!

I very rarely hand out a 5 star, but these guys were incredible. My repair may have taken a day or two longer than originally expected, but parts needed to be flown in from the mainland and I completely understand. Alan was especially helpful, and went way above and beyond the normal automotive repair customer service. I was using a 3rd party warranty for this repair and Alan took care of all the communication with them and made sure he got everything covered that he possibly could. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone on Oahu. Great Service!

Vic is the most honest, sincere, caring and more than fair individual that just so happens to be a mechanic too. Lol! I know what you're thinking; Fair? Honest? Caring? Whaaat? Are you kidding me? There's no such thing as a honest mechanic. Well I'm here to tell you there is. In this age of people trying to win one over the other at all cost just to make a buck, it's so refreshing to have met Vic at Mobotech. When evaluating my car, he made sure to make videos documenting what needed to be fixed. He also gave me great advice on what he thought was most important be fixed first, since I had a fixed budget to work with. He gave me a written estimate and notified me when there were to be changes in the estimate due to unforseen circumstances, seeking my approval before proceeding. I've worked with many mechanics throughout my life, and I can honestly say this has been my best experience yet! Mahalo Vic for all your aloha!!

Gave me a fair price for putting on a belt that broke, and checked to make sure the cause it broke wasnt something serious. I tried 1 mechanic chain-shop and 2 other privately owned nearby and they all charged FAR more than what it should cost to put on a simple belt. These guys are straightforward no bull and fair prices!!!

Victar and the guys at Mobotech are top notch. I've taken my Buick there a few times for minor and major work and they do a great job at a fair price. I sometimes go to a place near Waikiki for oil changes or minor repairs but always to Mobotech for important stuff. Your GPS will find them down the alley in the Kalihi neighborhood. When you get there you'll see that the place is the real deal. 5 stars

My son is stationed at Pearl Harbor and i sent his car over, it started having a brake problem . He took it to Midas and they threw a $ 1200 est. at him, so i searched the net and ran across Mobotech. i called and talked to Victor { owner } told him the deal...the next day my son { Cody } took his car to them and under $300 later had his problem fixed. Victar is really the man, he really does care about you in every aspect of the car and service. This shop is where you want to take if you want the car to be taken care of like your baby or a child. I had decided to get my brake and oil changed, also I called around many shops researching. But through a friend that also works on cars, I was referred here that this is the place to bring for any repairs of automobiles. Victar diagnosed the problem immediately and sent me video with text message notifying what needed to be done and how to be done. The price was more than reasonable in hawaii, also mainland. I would say this hidden gem is a blessing to Oahu. Definitely this is my type of aloha place for my cars. Thank you Victar, you really made my day and my car is feeling much happier after the visit :)
