Wow, I am so impressed! The work is flawless and my car looks like it did when I got it brand new off the lot. Paint match was perfect. The car was also nicely detailed when I picked it up. They easily coordinated with the insurance company and offered to coordinate my rental car too. Work was done over 3 days. Would 10/10 come back here again!

I highly recommend T & J Autobody! They we’re extremely fast, friendly and fairly priced. After getting side swiped I called several places. Most said it would take a month to even get an estimate. When I spoke with Tim he said I could bring in the car that day. The estimate was extremely fair and I only had to wait two weeks to get an appointment for it to be repaired. In between, they called to confirm the timing of the appointment and that the parts had arrived. I expected my car to be there three days and it was ready in two. The car looked great and as an added bonus it had been fully vacuumed and cleaned both inside and out. I am always happy to support a local and family owned business and could not be happier with T & J.

We were sprayed with white paint by a road crew while driving our brand new black Silverado HD 3500. Matt was such a pleasure to work with and very accommodating. When we picked up the truck, she looked better than when we first bought her (sporting her new pink pinstripe)! I got a great vibe from them when I first walked through the door and was not disappointed in any way! They are professional, courteous, and got the job done quickly and worked with the road crew company in Montana. Thank you Matt and Co.! Black Betty looks amazing!

I’ve used them for a few vehicles that were in wrecks or damaged and I always have a great outcome. The people are very friendly and helpful. Let me make this long story long... After my new car was backed into last week I needed to get in touch with a reputable auto body shop for some repairs. Not knowing where to start I reached out to my friend who used a service for those types of repairs in the past month. I remembered looking at his car before and after repairs and I was certain he got a new car. In fact he used T & J Auto Body to make his car look like new and I was in misbelief! I immediately told him I need their address to fix my car. I came in for an estimate few minutes before the shop closed and they welcomed me to have a look at my car. After meeting with Tim he examined the damages and asked me if I have some time. He took my car into the shop and called me in after 15 minutes to take a look at it, in my misbelief his crew tackled the task and buffed out ALL the damages... The car looked brand new! In fact they even took care of a minor repair that wasn't a consequence of the collision, out of their own will. I asked Tim for a bill, and I was ready to pay his team for a well done job but he refused to charge me. Impeccable customer service is an understatement. All and all I have never met Tim or anybody at T & J Auto Body, and they never had an obligation to take care of my needs at no cost. In this difficult economy and an unfortunate circumstance for me after my vehicle was damaged, they decided to treat me like their family. It shows to me that there are still car repair shops that are not there to take advantage of you but to help you out. This shop just gained a lifelong client for any auto body repairs and YOU should consider them too! Thank You!!

I brought 2010 Honda Accord EXL to T&J’s Autobody in Eat Hartford on the recommendation of a co-worker. I have to say that the owner Tim and his staff did an excellent job repairing the passenger side rocker panel, installing the passenger front and rear door skin panels. In addition the Tim’s team sanded and repainted the front hood, fenders, and roof! The quality and color match of the finished paint and clear coat were identical to the original components. The finished product was impeccable and looked like it cam off the showroom floor. I have to say the car looked terrific! In addition Tim also under-coated the rear wheel wells himself! T&J is a family owned business and it is obvious that Tim (the owner) and his Autobody Tech’s take great pride in their work! They are very professional and provide a fair price for their work! I would absolutely recommend T&J Autobody to anyone looking to have autobody work done on their vehicle! Tim is an honest and reputable owner who does what he says he is going to do and does not take any short cuts! Tim guarantees his work for the life of the vehicle That is something you don’t see today from a lot of other body shops! Thank you Tim and your staff for an excellent job. This 2010 Honda Accord looks brand new!

Had a problem with my passenger window went over here and let me tell you these guys are serious. They actually take the time to throughly look through everything ! Took my car in explaining to me everything head to toe what the problem was and what the cost would be upfront. No pressure , no lies, and no bs! All the people in that shop are friendly with amazing customer service , AND THEY WASHED MY CAR AFTER. You think they are doing that anywhere else for low prices? NOPE! T&J did an amazing job! I had a dent with paint chipping on the driver side door. They replaced the whole door shell and blended the paint across the entire side of the car. All in less than 2 weeks. Aside from the great quality, the level of service was outstanding. I am very happy with the result and highly recommend this shop.

WOW! These guys are top notch! Someone backed into my car and drove off leaving me with a bent hood and grill. I did not want to report this to my insurance company to have my rates increase for an accident I did not cause. The first quote I got from a local shop in West Hartford was for $2,000 to fix the repairs (keep in mind the book value of the car is $3500) After telling the second shop that I really only wanted the bare bones done to make the car functional as I was going to pay out of pocket and planning to give it to my daughter who is turning 16 this year, they quoted me $3000 to get the car "functional." I then took it to T&J where they quoted me $890! Thats a huge difference! They were willing to work with me, listened to what I was looking for and offered GREAT service. They were able to find used parts which saved me money which the other shops didnt seem willing to do. I dropped the car off in the morning and they had a shuttle to bring me to and from work, and they were EARLY and waiting for me to pick me up from my office after work! My car looks much better and is now safe for the road thanks to the team at T & J Auto. It is family owned and operated as well which is really nice. It is a rarity to find an honest, customer service oriented team in the auto repair work field in my experience and these guys delivered. I highly recommend reaching out to this reputable company for all of your auto body repair needs!! A+++!

I went in to see what could be done about some rust nicks I had on my vehicle. Matt and Tom assessed it and gave me different options. What was great about the experience was that they could have easily stated just the more expensive option but their professionalism and honesty made me go with the lesser option. They also sealed the rubber back together again on my rear window, which was unrelated to the bumper. I had my 1977 olds cutlass show car at T&J for some repairs. The front of the car sustained damage from a minor collision. I had a big car show on sept. 19 2021 that I wanted to show my car. T&J had my car ready and looking great. Tom & Tim did a fantastic job for me and my car. I took first place in my class that day. T&J is the best place to bring your car for autobody repairs. I chose to go by T&J because of their fabulous reviews, and they did not disappiont!! I stopped by T&J to have them look at a minor problem with the paint on my car. They took a look at my car right away and determined they could likely fix the paint problems in about 15 minutes with some buffing. Less than 10 minutes later, the paint was like new and the car was ready to go. The work that I needed was so minor that they could have justifiably said they weren't interested. Instead, they happily fixed the issue in no time! Overall, I had a great and hassle-free experience, and I am extremely impressed with their service. Their office was by far the cleanest and most organized body shop that I've visited. The owners and employees were all incredibly friendly and hard working. I will certainly bring my car here again should the need arise. I will also highly recommend them to my friends and family.

Amazing!!!! These guys are so nice! As a first-time customer I was pleasantly surprised by their awesome customer service. They did the work in half the time they told me it would take. They did a great job buffing out the scratches on my car that were really deep. They made my car look like brand new! By far the best auto body shop I've ever used. Their attention to details is out of this world. I've used this body shop 2 times for body work. The first time was in 2013 they painted the car to perfection and noticed some other area with some minor damages which was completely unrelated to the area they were painting and they painted that area as well for free. The second time was last year in October of 2018 and as always they did a great job, but when I picked up the car after I got home I noticed some minor imperfections in the bumper I called them up and they told me to bring the car back at any time without an appointment. And when I got there they buffed that area pretty neat and I was on my way in less than an hour. And just recently again I took one of our older cars with headlight casing that were fading a little bit, I was expecting them to charge me to buff them, but nope. They made them much clearer, they brought the car back in about 15 minutes and when I tried to reach for my wallet the guy was like "there's no charge for this because it's not advertised as one of the services we perform". I was beyond stunned!!! Anywho, I highly recommend them for your auto body work.

I went by T & J's auto body shop. My Truck had scatches on the bumper. They gave me a quote at a reasonable price. They also gave me a second option which alot of shops don't do. Set up an appointment and brought my Truck in. They buff the scratches of and didn't charge me. I was really surprise and grateful at the same time. I recommend this shop without hesitation. Is a family business, and the people there are very friendly and professional.

I never write reviews but my experience at T&J is worthy of one. I cannot say enough great things about this shop; they helped me fight my insurance company to get the correct parts so the repair would be done right, when other shops would probably tell customers to deal with their insurance company themself. The new bumper fits the car just like it did the day it rolled off the assembly line, the paint job and blending came out flawless and I wasn't even expecting to have my whole car washed and detailed. Tim and Tom are very professional, very friendly and go way above and beyond to make sure their customers leave happy. If I ever need auto body work done in the future I will not even consider using a different shop and I will recommend them to anyone. If you are in need of any auto body work, don't waste your time looking around because T&J is the only shop you should use.

T & J Auto Body in East Hartford did excellent work repairing my rear bumper last week. Not only does the bumper look beautiful but the car inside and out was thoroughly cleaned. Everyone at T & J - from Jeanette at the front desk to the individual who drove me to pick up my rental to one of the owners who took the time to personally deliver my car to me at the rental office since I was running short on time and needed to get to work - provided outstanding customer service. Top shelf auto body and paint shop. I bought a 2018 Mustang Gt but came through the factory with a paint blemish on the right front fender. The dealer recommended I take it to T and J Auto body for an estimate. Upon my arrival Tim at T and J told me what needed to be done and I felt this guy knows his business so I went with it.Tom at T and J did the work an I couldn't be happier. Very honest shop with excellent service and work. I took my minivan here yesterday with a dent in the bumper. Tim was so professional and the shop was very clean and comfortable. Another shop had said it would be hundreds to fix any bumper work. Tim fixed it in 10 minutes and it looks perfect. I could not be happier with them and will only go here from now on.

They're timely with their body work. When they say 2 days, they mean your car will be ready in two days. The work they did is immaculate. You can't even tell there was work done on the car. I am up from NJ visiting relatives for a few days. During my stay, I decided to get a quote for removing scuff marks from the driver's side doors of my car. I was pleasantly surprised to hear the scratches could be buffed off and even more shocked to hear that there would be no charge for the service! Within minutes the car was in the shop. A great experience and a level of customer service that is all too often missing in business these days. I recommend this business highly.

I have not had a need for an auto body shop for some time now, however I must say that these folks have their act together! I am a tough person to please as I have great attention to detail and cannot say enough good things about T&J. My brand new car was damaged and required some paint and some scratch removal etc. and they did an awesome job, they even fixed the swirl marks that the car dealer left on my hood when the new car was detailed and prepped. My new car also had a white leather interior which I was worried about getting dirty and soiled from the techs but when my car was returned to me, I could not find any issues, it was detailed and good as new, (better in fact since the dealer messed up my hood!) T&J has been in business a long time and is a family business, I can see why, they are all about pleasing the customer as it should be, I generally don't write reviews however this was exceptional, great folks to work with!

These guys are just amazing! Class act all around from customer service to results! I have 100% trust in them and that is not easy to earn when it comes to me and my car. Honest, family owned business who just know how to do it right. What I loved is that I asked them for an estimate on painting my two front grills… Just to make it look a little cleaner and they told me "NO"!! They explain the fact that painting it would not be a good idea because it wouldn't last long and would look worse than it does now . Not what I wanted to hear at first but then I realized most places would have just taken my money especially being a woman! But not T&J! The service and quality of my repairs at T & J were both above and beyond! After my accident, they communicated consistently with myself, insurance company, and rental car company to ensure that everyone was on the same page. Tom even worked with me to get my car delivered when it was done because I wasn't able to leave work on time during parent-teacher conferences! My car was checked and double checked for safety, and they walked me through every question I had. I was satisfied with every aspect of my experience, and would recommend T & J to friends, family, and everyone else!

T & J Auto Body is great! I bumped into a white post pulling into a covered spot and got a paint transfer onto my brand new car, and stupidly tried to wash it off with a kitchen sponge. This lead to some deep scratches and smeared white paint, making my car look quite ugly. I brought it in for a quote, Tom took a look at it and said they could probably buff it out and make it look pretty for about 50 bucks without having to go through insurance or replace the door which could cost over 1500 - I opted for the cheaper option. A lot of places probably would have said replacing the door was my only option, but T&J are very genuine in trying to help you. I brought it in for the work, it took about 30 minutes, and after it was done the car looked good as new! They brought the car up front and just said "Have a nice day!". I tried to pay because I was so impressed, but they insisted it was on the house. Absolutely great service, very friendly staff, and I highly recommend T&J for anyone who needs car work done!

Last week I met with Michael Walsh in regards to my cracked front bumper. He immediately came outside and got on the ground to check the damage and told me that they would be able to repair it. We set Wednesday October 4, 2017 @ 9am to make the necessary repairs. I arrived today at about 8:45 am and met with a gentleman named Todd. Todd came out to assess the damage as Michael did and said we'll bring it in immediately and get started on it. He stated that it would take in between an hour or two. I patiently waited in the lobby and in about an hour Todd came to get me so we can check the repairs. I was extremely happy and satisfied with the job they did as well as the speedy service. Todd asked me how much was the original estimate in which I was given and I proceeded to tell him. As I handed him the payment he told me to give him less than the original estimate. It made me very happy cause not only did I get VIP service as well as quick quality service for a cheaper rate then they originally quoted me. I want to thank Todd and Michael as well as the shop guy that did the repairs. I highly recommend T&J Auto Body Shop to anyone that needs any type of body work repairs. I guarantee you'll be just as happy with service and prices just as I am. Thanks again guys and keep up the great work.

I stopped by T & J yesterday (3/26/2015) with my black Honda Accord. I had a few minor scratches on my front bumper. I didn't want to pay paint the whole thing knowing it would be pretty expensive. Every other place I went to told me they couldn't do anything without painting the whole thing. The gentleman in the front took my car right in after I told him I spoke to Matt. He said he thought he could make it look better and told me it would be about 30 minutes. After about 30 minutes he has me go into the back to take a look. Wow! I could hardly tell where the scratches were in the first place. He has me walk back out front to pick the car up. He hands me my keys in the front and shakes my hand. I asked if there would be an invoice and the cost and he said "it's on the house". You don't get this kind of service at any at any auto body shop or even most businesses. They know how make their customers happy. I'll be sure to go back to T&J for any auto body needs. If you need any auto body work done don't consider anyone else but them! On a side note, their shop was amazingly clean, professional, and noticeably organized. It's something you don't see at many car places. Thanks for all the help T & J!

T and J Auto Body is the absolute best! I had the rear bumper of my VW Beetle replaced recently. Mike, Tim and Matt Walsh treated me in a friendly and professional manner throughout the process. Mike gave me a tour of the facility which was neat as a pin, perfectly clean and well organized. I got the impression the Walsh's are perfectionists and I was right. When the work was completed and I saw my car I could not believe my eyes. It looked new again! They clearly went above and beyond expectations. Not only was the rear bumper clean but the entire exterior was clean and polished and the interior completely cleaned as well. I couldn't ask for a better auto repair experience!

Definitely five stars, or even more! I am new to the city. But someone made a pretty bad scratch together with dent on my new car. Took my babe to several body shop and had quotes about $900. It was an early morning when I got to T&J. My mood is pretty down because of the recent experience. But the gentleman there told me that they probably could remove majority of the scratch and dent by cleaning! And he did it, without any charges, only leaving two unnoticeable points of paint damage. I deeply appreciate their kind help. T&J will be my only body shop in the future as long as I am in Hartford!

Very professional from start to finish. They worked with my insurance for any cost incurred after the initial insurance deposit was met. They even offered transportation to and from my rental car service. The repair work that they did was amazing, could not even tell an accident occurred. Would definitely use them again.
