I called the Hartford location on Saturday to purchase an AC compressor I spoke with a guy name Mike he was nice and I ordered the part over the phone in which he told me it would be ready by Mon or Tues. The part arrived Wednesday. They are however extremely busy and seems like they are under staffed for the amount of traffic they get. Mike was very nice and helpful. The other guys not so much.

Called about an engine on Friday and they said it would be ready to go on Monday. On Monday I called, and they said they didn’t get the engine ready because I didn’t pay a deposit. Paid the deposit, and the rest of the balance immediately after engine was pulled, and they promised me delivery the next day. I called the next day and they said they can’t deliver it today and I have to wait. Meanwhile, my cars taking up space at my mechanics shop and not getting any work done because Chuck and Eddies wasn’t able to deliver on the day they guaranteed they would. Their lack of organization is definitely a downside

Great customer service. They have a few of these locations. So if you are looking for a certain part more than likely they will have it for you. They have very fair prices also. They do not over charge as some as the other vendors do. They make sure they give you the best quality parts. Even though the parts are used. They get you out the door quick. So if your trying to work on your car you most likely do not have to wait. Thank you guys for your service.

I came in to pay for a starter for my 2002 Toyota Tacoma my wife called in and i was greeted by a smiling getleman with a red shirt. I gave him my info the part. It costed $66.47 i gave him a $50 and $20 waited for my change received. I started to walk out the door and saw that he gave me back $23 plus change i doubled back and said bro heres your twenty back you gave me to much he said no you gave me $95 woah . My point is he was honest enough not to keep the money and i was not going to let him give me more than i deserved as well. I want to say when two honest people do business we all win. Thank you. Being the do-it-yourself type of guy, finding parts and removing them yourself, is like being a kid in a candy store. There warranty their parts and have always been a hassle free place of business. They are quite knowledgeable as well, and won't sell you something you don't need. Been doing business there for over 20 years.

Years ago this salvage yard was called Blonders. Then, after a couple of fires, Chuck & Eddie took over, and they got it together. Nice guys, this place is three blocks from the highway. So, dont hesitate to drive into HARTFORD it's an o.k. area. Nice prices.

The disconnect between there Southington & Hartford location had me going back and forth 3 times. That is with calling each location multiple times to make sure everything was off the car ready to go. Finally I get there (Hartford) and they tell me there gone and have been gone! Only reason there getting 3 stars is because of there you pull it yard and Timmy the main man in the you pull it yard.
