Amazing customer service, friendly professional staff. They kept me more in the loop on everything that was going on with my repairs better than my own insurance adjuster. They went above and beyond from day one, they were overbooked and couldn't take me in till later down on the week and when I took my car for the inspection just so I can make sure it was safe to keep driving and sure enough it wasn't and being booked they kept my car, got me a rental on the spot and my car was ready on a reasonable timing even when my insurance kept trying to supply them with parts that's weren't suitable for the repair. Job is fantastic my car is looking amazing!!! I recommend this shop to anyone, I got a new tire (same brand), wheel and bumper, sensors were calibrated and the paint job! Pictures speak for themselves, these guys are amazing at what they do.

This was my second visit to Ace (They're amazing), I stopped by to discuss that my car was declared totaled by insurance and that I was hoping to get it repaired instead of taking cash settlement from insurance since the damage didn’t seem extensive to me. Ace said that they don’t fix totaled cars which was disappointing, but Dustin went out of his way to explain why, he made me understand what the process that I was pursuing really entailed, even if I found a shop that would take it, it’s going to cost me money time and possibly multiple failures at getting it to pass the DMV inspection. He was honest, kind, empathetic, and offered valuable professional advice at no cost. That level of customer service needed recognition! Thank you Dustin 😊

My three month old Volvo XC90 was damaged when a parking lot gate closed on my car. The damage which can be seen in the picture below, was actually caused by a screw that protruded from the gate arm. The damage was in the area between the windshield and the driver's side window, a narrow area that didn't appear easy to repair. I didn't think it could be fixed without a major reconstruction, so when a friend told me that the guys at Ace Auto Body did fantastic work, I gave them a call. The phone was answered by Gary Clavette, one of the owners. He was knowledgeable and very pleasant, and told me to stop by for an estimate. I drove to the shop the next day. Gary assessed the damage and handed me a very reasonable estimate. Two weeks later Ace Auto Body repaired my car and I could not be happier! You will see from the second photo below, a close-up, that my car looks as good as new. The dent is gone, and the paint was matched perfectly! Gary, his son Kevin and the guys at Ace are easy to do business with and do fantastic work. If I could give them 10 stars on this Google review, I would! Thank you Ace Auto Body!

Kevin was very professional and friendly. He explained everything that he planned on doing and was very honest about the price. I was able to get my car in earlier than I thought and it was fixed after three days. Kevin handled everything from the insurance to the rental, so the experience was less stressful than I was expecting. The results were also great. This place is a hidden Gem in my opinion. They have been in business for two generations and are super professional. I took my Jeep Grand Cherokee last month and could not be happier with their work. When the job was delayed they thoroughly explained the reason(shortage of parts) and kept me informed as parts arrived to their shop. Kevin and Gary went above and beyond for me, and I truly appreciate the service and work they did. I typically am not the one to do a review, but this place deserves it. I was in an accident back in November, and the insurance company placed my vehicle with an auto shop that wasn't sitting right in my stomach. I contacted Ace, and they were polite and responsible for picking my vehicle up from another auto shop (out of state). The reason they deserve a review is that they made me feel comfortable and took care of literally every step throughout the process without a hassle, and on top of that left my car looking brand new. I'm writing this review seven months later because I needed my headlight aligned and adjusted today and contacted them last minute about it. Without hesitation, they took the time out of their busy schedule to improve them and also fix the bulb itself and didn't even bother charging me for the few minutes of there time. Overall, if you are looking for a shop to leave your vehicle literally brand new, take care of everything from start to finish hassle-free, and on top of that they are professional and polite, look no further. I took my car to a windshield replacement. I was completely unfamiliar with the problem, so I contact my insurance. They send the information to ACE Auto Body and literally they took care of everything. I dropped my car to them and fix it really great. The replacement was fast, and well done, the price was very reasonable and affordable, so the service was very effective. I am not great at solving car issues so I was very concern on how to go through the process but ACE made it so smooth and made me feel comfortable and safe with the results in my car. Brought my car in to Gary and Kevin with minor front end damage, and a few miscellaneous scratches throughout the body. Right off the bat, the entire staff was super professional, knowledgeable, personable, and competent. Five days later my seven year old car looked almost brand new, with no sign of the front end damage. These guys went the extra mile by buffing out the minor scratches and washing and detailing the whole car. Not only that, but they made life easier by handling all the insurance nonsense and arranging for a rental car. You're crazy if you bring your car anywhere else, and I've already told half a dozen people about Ace!

Gary and Kevin at Ace Auto Body sail to the top of the list. The very top. Their work is impeccable, competitively priced, and they're direct and honest in their communications. In my experience it's hard to say you trust a company to not only do a great job, but to go above and beyond. I've had my fair share of fender benders, all of which were made easier and overall painless with the help of Ace auto body. The guys at Ace are not only knowledgable, but also extremely trustworthy, which is hard to come by especially in the car business. Being a female, and having little knowledge of the basic concepts, makes me an easy target for car-educated and manipulative shops to take advantage of my ignorance. However, this has never been my experience with Ace. They are thorough and patient, explaining all the details to my satisfaction. I would recommend Ace (and I have) to anyone who has been in an accident or who needs some body work done. I've had nothing but excellent results from their services. My first fender bender, I was informed that my vehicle is metallic and therefore would have to be blended in such a way so that as it ages, the paint wouldn't look like patchwork. When I picked my car up, it looked brand new. I couldn't see any trace of the damage/ new vs. old paint. If I were to give the shop a general rating, it would have to be "mind-easing". Every step of this usually stressful and annoying process I was informed. I knew what was needed, I knew how much time it would take, and I knew the expense. It was so very straightforward and informative that it put my mind at ease knowing that my vehicle was in good hands. Car problems are by far the worst, and if anyone is looking for a painless, friendly, and competent shop to take care of bodywork, I ALWAYS recommend Ace Auto body. I truly appreciate Ace Auto body, but hope not to see them for a while, as I don't intend to be in any accidents any time soon... but who does? When it happens though it's good to know my car is in good hands.

I brought my car to Ace Auto Body in Hartford after having a run in with a mailbox (red 2012 Toyota Camry SE). It had scratches and dents all the way down one side. Kevin and Gary are the best. Friendly, courteous and professional. The estimate was accurate, the pricing great and the work excellent and actually completed a day earlier than estimated, which saved me a day on a rental car. They even cleaned my car inside and out and delivered it to me saving me a taxi/Uber ride. It was like getting a new car back! I got into a parking lot fender bender over the holidays which was a major bummer, but thankfully Ace made the process as painless as possible. Another shop estimated 4 days, Kevin/Gary estimated a little over a day and actually delivered even earlier! They had my bumper done in less than 24 hours. Additionally, they arranged the rental car and dealt with the insurance company. I hope I never have to go back for obvious reasons but recommend them whole heartedly and will return if the circumstances ever call for it.

Search no more, you have found your auto body shop. Someone sideswiped my truck, so I shopped around and ended up stopping by ACE Auto Body. I am DELIGHTED .. with the job ACE did on my "baby" ... my classic 1992 Toyota Celica GT Convertible has never seen winter - has only 80K miles on it .. so I was upset when someone backed into it .. I've been going to Ace Auto Body from my mid teens into my early twenties and then some simply because I was a horrible, some would say reckless driver. Looking back, can't really argue... Every time they did a repair or total reconstruction of whichever wreck I dumped in their lot they were able to bring it back to a stellar, showroom condition. Their lines, seams and panel alignments were nothing short of impressive and their ability to meet expectations have always been exceeded. The customer service they provide is incomparable from taking your car/truck from their own residence to their shop and then back after the job has been completed (extremely convenient for locals without the time to drive into Hartford) to their step-by-step process of updating the customer on his/her vehicle as the repair progresses with picture documentation without request. I now live out of state but my allegiance to Ace Auto Body remains intact. I have always and will always continue to recommend them for any auto body work without hesitation. They have serviced my family's, friends and colleagues needs all they same and for that I am truly grateful. I'm always a bit hesitant in referring people in any regard but Ace is one of those places where you can never go wrong and always walk away with a certain sense of self pride after the masterpiece they present you with. They have top of the line tools and equipment and continue to evolve with the times unlike some other businesses who would prefer to take an "old school approach." They are extremely well rounded in the automotive field with providing excellent references to services they cannot provide for (general maintenance, oil change, tires, rentals, etc..) but I have always had a vehicle there for an extended amount of time so they always took that personal step and professional approach in meeting all of my requests from taking it up the street to get an oil change or delivering it across the state for auto detailing (this was well before they had a detailing specialist in-house and if time permitted). Ace Auto Body, what else can I say? They have always, in my eyes been the premier auto body provider of anywhere I have lived all throughout the U.S. and I have brought some banged up rides to some shady places and I have and will always regret not being able to get it into Park Street. The value they provide to the end product in some cases can be more so then requested meaning they are always willing to work with you on any budget and tend to go the extra mile for you at no added cost even if it is a minor loss or "hit" to them. That shows a level of character and professionalism that is frankly unrivaled in their field, in their area and redefines the art and genre in which they occupy. Thank you Ace Auto Body for always giving me piece of mind and maintaining the resale value of everything I brought to you. I am forever grateful for everything you have done and will do for me in the future. You have a customer for life and my appreciation for your work and all you have done can never be repaid.
