The service was well worth the wait! It’s the holiday season so a lot of people were getting their car serviced but what made the wait worth it was the great customer service. I frequent the Gulfport location with my car and my family members vehicles. They are very knowledgeable; they’ve even pointed out other services that would be helpful and one of them happened to be very detrimental to the function of my vehicle. Thank you guys! I drive a Ford F-250 Diesel. I pulled up and they brought bottled water out while we waited. The wait time was less than 5 minutes. We pulled into the bay, I choose the service and they went to work. In 5 minutes they aired the tires to the proper pressure, changed the oil and replaced the filter, and topped off the fluid. The guys were real professionals and friendly, I will go back again. Great experience, very satisfied.

Fast and efficient, just don't buy wiper blades they charge $35 for the cheap pair $50 for the good ones. You can buy th way cheaper at parts store and they will also install them

The service was fast and efficient and if you don't know they will check and top off your oil between oil changes free of charge. The initial service comes with checking fluids windshield wipers and air pressure in your tires. The employees are polite and courteous and I definitely will return.

I was extremely pleased with my visit to the Orange Grove location. I arrived around 2:30pm and was warmly greeted by Rodney I believe. He offered me a water and they got me in for my oil change quickly. They also replaced my wipers and did so in under 20 minutes. And that was after they changed both my wipers and oil. 10/10 stars for Rodney, John, and Jack. I will definitely be returning.

Most entertaining oil change I've ever experienced. Reminds me of an old-fashioned diner where the servers call out to a short-order cook and service is performed to your specifications. If you need anything such as an air filter or wiper blades, these are shown to you before installation. You are informed as each service item is completed. All personnel involved in caring for your vehicle are efficient, fast, and respectful.

By far my Greatest experience having my oil changed. I went around 5 o clock I waited for an hour. They brought out water and kept us posted on the wait time. You never have to get out of your car. The workers never stopped working they always keep you up to speed on everything they are doing on your vehicle. They verify all your info and show you that your oil is clear and full. They are sooooo thorough. Filling all the fluids, checking filters, wipers, tire pressure, and even filled my donut with air. The guy was also doing all this while being extra polite and also while training a new guy who was equally polite. We will definitely be using them for all our oil change needs. Thank you Take 5 for still being great and having friendly service and hard workers during such a difficult time. Even during a pandemic you guys are CRUSHING IT 💙💙💙

I’ve only used this location so I can’t speak for the others but both times I’ve gone they’ve been super quick. They update you on EVERYTHING they’re doing. They don’t haggle you for upgrades/extras. Their oil selection is good. Military discount. I had needed an air filter forever but the old place I went to never had it and the only time I ever went to a parts store to find one they didn’t have it either, but Take 5 did! Absolutely will go out of my way to visit the Hwy 49 location every time.

My family traveled from St Louis, MO after we had just had oil change done at Valvoline! Unfortunately they tightened the oil filter tòo tight and crushed it causing a leak. We thought we were broke down in gulfport, MS but we got to take 5, they figured all of the above out, fixed it, replaced filter and topped off oil.....didnt charge us a dime and wished us a safe return home! I got there, did my interview (service tech), and it was a cool environment. I could tell the Manager who interviewed me was laid back. The post said, I believe 11.51 hour, but the pay is 8 hourly plus commission. I couldn't take that big of a pay cut.

Kevin went above and beyond for me by letting me know the previous place that did my oil change actually stripped the threads on the bolt for my oil pan and printed out some paperwork for me to give to the other place to replace it. He and the other Take 5 employees were so great that they checked my oil and topped off my car with the synthetic oil I use, and even cleaned my windshield and checked each tires air pressure and topped those off all for no charge! They didn't have to do any of this stuff so it is very much appreciated and super helpful. Highly recommended Update - I feel I should mention that when I got there, they had an employee walk up to those of us in line and offered us all cold bottles of water as as soon as we got there. This place just goes above and beyond and this will definitely be my normal go-to for oil changes (they also offer 25% off for military members and veterans which definitely helps) You guys are awesome.

I've used Take 5 for a few years for my regular oil change. They bring you water when you arrive. They check all of your fluids and air pressure and wiper blades. They show proof of finished work and clean your windows. I think the pricing is reasonable to be in what feels like a Nascar pit crews care.

The crew was outstanding. No lines these guys get it done. A long time ago I had passed and saw that guys were outside standing by the road with signs that said, "no lines". I knew that if they were willing to do that, then customer service mattered. Me and my husband went together and got his oil changed and he was really happy with their service and also tipped them, he insisted. (This is not normal for Eric he usually isn't impressed) I would recommend this place every time.

The person who waited on me was named Kevin. He was totally and completely amazing! When I got there to do an oil change he found that I had an active leak in my transmission. So he topped off the oil and being that there was no transmission fluid there he, himself went across the street to a store and bought transmission fluid to add to my car. He didn’t even want me to pay him back for the fluid. I was very upset, as I don’t know anything about cars… But he went way above and beyond what would be expected of anyone to help me. I was hoping I would have an opportunity somehow to let five minute oil change know what an amazing employee… What an amazing man he is! I have been using the Biloxi store since it opened. Great staff and service. Unfortunately, they were out of the oil filter for my car. In the past, if this had occurred, the company would provide a manager discount to maintain good relations. It was recommended that I go to the Gulfport store and explained that the Biloxi store was out of some supplies and I asked for the manager discount. The store refused to offer me the manager discount. The store did good work but was disappointed that the discount was not accepted.

Went to get the oil changed here on my dad's truck. I usually have a great experience here but this time was not that great. The staff were very friendly and apologetic but the problem was they had no water to fill or top off any fluids that needed it. They were out of transmission fluid as well. I was told by one employee that the office hadn't paid the bills so the water was turned off. Not a very good way to run a business. To top it off, I looked at the checklist that shows what all had been done, and it shows everything topped off when they didn't do it. I think it's time to find a new oil change center.

They changed my oil, replaced my air filter(it hasn't needed changing in a good while) and I also had the air/heater filter(located in the glove compartment) changed.

I didn't feel like driving to D'Iberville, where I normally go, to the dealership. When I pulled up a gentleman came up, asked what I needed then provided me with a bottle of Kentwood water. I waited about 20 minutes as there was 2 cars ahead of me. Once in place the gentleman explained all the oil change prices and other services. I told him which one I wanted and they got started. He came back and asked "will you allow me to check your A/C filter, it is located behind your glovebox"? I told him I never knew but sure, why not. In my mind I was thinking the dealership checked everything. To my shock, the filter was black!! Looked like it had never been changed!! I bought it used and have had 3 oil changes with what the dealership calls "The Works" where they are supposed to check everything, all filters, all belts, rotate tires, change oil( full synthetic) & fluids of course. All though I only pay $50 for all of that at the dealership, I will be happy to pay my $82.95 at Take 5, in front of Winn Dixie, Hwy 49, Gulfport any time I need my oil changed!!

They greet you when you get in line with your car and let you know how they will be before getting to you. Once you are registered I. The computer they just scan a barcode on your car and know what they have used in the past and when maintenance is needed on your car.

We use this location frequently for all of our vehicles bc it’s so convenient to our work. I couldn’t guess the numbers of overall visits we’ve had but it’s been a lot with all 3 vehicles. Our visit today was amazing. Although I’ve never had a single complaint or bad experience, none of my past visits inspired me to write a review. What set today apart was TY. He was the mechanic that worked on our car today and his customer service, attentiveness, knowledge, great attitude and overall demeanor really boosted what I’ve always loved about this place. Ty works at the Gulfport location on Hwy 49. I’m not sure if this company gives insentives but even if it’s just a pat on the back or someone in upper management thanking him for a job well done, someone should do it. It’s men like him that makes or breaks a company with a good concept. You can tell he takes his job seriously, is in good spirits and wants to make sure you’re getting the 5 min service. You guys have a real star and winner in TY and you’re lucky to have him. His drive and love for what he does is shown in his great service. Thanks Ty for doing such an awesome job that after 10 visits, you’re the one I just had to tell everyone about.

Great service just getting in town from dallas for the weekend and needed an oil change asap. Searched and found this place to be 1 of very few to still be open. Chris explained what was recommended and gave me a few options to decide then he noticed my Uber sign and said they have a discount for ride share drivers, that's cool for offering that. John was good as well since they was the 2 that worked on my vehicle. Also didn't get pressured to buy anything else that wasn't needed at the moment so thanks for that as well on being honest and not money hungry like most other places. To top it off I didn't have to get out my car, that was new to me and I like it since I'm able to watch them do the work

Great service every time. Very friendly. I went in thinking I was due for an oil change, cause I don't track that stuff too well, and they said I wasn't due for another 1000 miles. They checked all the fluids, tire pressure, and I was good to go wth no charge. This is where I tell my wife and kids to go because I know they'll be treated right.

Friendly, courteous, and professional way to get an oil change. I am new to this concept of waiting in the car while it is done; most other oil change franchises make you wait in a cramped waiting room. The bottled water that is offered when you first pull up is a nice, welcoming touch. Highly recommend this place for an oil change; they perform the service fast enough to keep anyone from using the excuse that they don't have time to change their oil.

I wanna start this review out by saying that if you're looking for an oil change in no time at all, this is the place to go! Not only, within about 5 minutes, were they able to change my oil but they also checked for leaks, checked my air filter, and several other parts of the car in such a fast manner that I didn't even know they had checked all of those parts. With that being said, they are honest. Growing up I was always told to be careful and to know things about cars when bringing them to get worked on because places will break stuff on your car to get you to purchase more or will lie about things needing to be fixed. These guys won't do that to you. They were honest with me and told me the few things that MAY need to be fixed, but didn't steer away from the oil change that they knew I was in for. I work fixing iPhones and other Apple products, so from one repair man to another (though in different repair fields) I'm very appreciative that they didn't try and get me for extra parts or maintenance. I couldn't recommend a better place to go to, and with THAT being said, they also gave me some Gatorade while I was waiting, so that was pretty dope. Thanks for the awesome experience guys! I like it because it was an excellent place to take my car for not only an oil change, but they also checked and corrected an issue with my tire pressure, that I had been struggling with for months. They also check and top off various fluids for you. I didnt even know I was low on washer fluid, but they put that in too, saving me from that nusiance. Once I got in it was all over and done with in about 10 minutes all told, and they even scrubbed off my windshield before it was over. Something I am simply too short to be really bothered with, as long as I can see out it. I should have asked them to do the back window too now I think about it...if you can change your own oil, then fine, but I cant, so I'm glad they exist. My car runs so much better since it got its over due oil change, and the tires set to exactly the correct pressure all the way around. The only downside was the cost. I was not expecting it, so the sticker shock was something else again, but if you want someone else to take care of your car its gonna cost you. From dead empty, my car takes 7 quarts of high mileage oil, so in the end my bill came to 104.8something. HIGH!! But still worth it in the end I think. Amusingly, my car had been there before, though I had not. They found that out scanning the vin number, so I had to update with the system, but that security is nice. At least if somebody brings in a stolen car, they are gonna know about it. All kinds of nosy questions about when did I buy the car, and who from, and where. So thats nice. It gets 4 out of 5 simply due to the price tag nobody tells you about before doing anything, so be sure you have a minimum of 150 padding on you before you go, and be sure to download the coupons.

This is not Quick lube or jiffy lube where you leave with no oil in your car (That may have really happened).
