The future is here: A text containing a link to Inspection Reports and Estimates for repairs was sent ASAP, leading to a SUPER user friendly and informative digital interface with pictures of my vehicle, as well as training videos explaining common problems. The shuttle service is AMAZING and so smart / convenient. Absolutely loved my experience here! I was definitely blown away by the customer service, quick turnaround time, and professionalism. They have a shuttle service, and so, they took me home and picked me up when my car was done(!!!). They were so knowledgeable and explained things very well. I also especially liked the diagnostic inspection report that I received. They provided pictures of my car parts and also distinguished which issues "required attention" or "are recommended to get serviced." Because my car tires also needed to get replaced at nearby tire shop, they were kind enough to take my car there for me. Truly an amazing experience and so grateful for the team looking at my car at short notice! Thanks to them, I safely made it to my important long-distance appointment the following day!

These guys are great! My check engine light came on and my car started shaking on the way home from work on a Friday evening. I was unable to find anyone to work on my car during the weekend, so I called Christian Brothers on Monday morning. They were able to take my car that morning and they shuttled me home so I didn't have to wait there. Within a short time, I received texts asking for more information to pass on to their tech. I then received a very detailed diagnostic report of what needs immediate attention, what is recommended, and what looks good. They included links that provided more information on what the parts do so you can make an informed decision, and they include the cost for each repair. There were photos of various parts of my car to show their condition, whether good or bad. It reassured me that they indeed looked over the critical areas of my car, rather than just taking them on their word. At the end of the day, I picked up my car and it is running perfectly. I am especially grateful since I had to drive during the recent blizzard. Everyone in the office and also the shuttle driver were respectful and welcoming. I am so grateful to the Plainfield Christian Brothers and will be taking my car to them from now on.

Easy in and out! Repair/alignment was done quickly and correct. Car drives down the road nice and straight. Needed an alignment after I made tie - rod and ball joint repairs to my Ford Fusion. These guys were great. On-time ready for me when I arrived. Got me right in and out. Less then an hour. I was impressed. Free Candy and Beverages in lobby. Gotta like that! I popped in here on 2-3-23 when my car was having severe issues shifting gears. They immediately knew what I was talking about when I was describing what was happening and hooked my car up right then and there to the tester and confirmed the suspicions. Jim brought me into the garage to show me what I was dealing with and wrote down what I needed to fix it on my own to save money. I fixed what they said it needed and I haven't had an issue since. They went through numerous scenarios with our seat adjustment motor including trying to source rebuilt parts to try to find the most economical and effective solution. Ultimately, they found a frayed wire was the culprit and saved us $600. That kind of transparency, honesty and customer service will bring us back. Wish they worked on RV's!

Our car warning lights came on as we were leaving for a long trip. Called Christian Bros (Plainfield) and they got me in right away, diagnosed the problem and fixed it in 30 min. I chose this place randomly and I was quite impressed. They got my car in VERY quickly and diagnosed it and then drove me back and forth to my home several times so I could get my daughter to and from school because a part needed to be special ordered. I would like to see the fee for them diagnosising the problem being waived if you have the work performed there, like other shops I have dealt with in the past, but overall still impressed with the staff and how friendly they all were. Will definitely be back if something comes up.

I've lived in this area over 20 years and have gone to the same auto shop. My last encounter made me look for a new place this time when I had issues with my Toyota. I didn't want to get taken advantage of being a lady and Christian Brothers had raving reviews. I dropped off my car the night before and they text me by 9:30 the next morning with what the issue was and how much it would be to fix it. (which was on point) I signed off right on the text and they text me again in less than an hour later that it was done..Ah-Mazing =) and what's even better is the shuttle service that's offered which is soo nice when ur in a pinch with no ride. You guys Rocked it and I was thoroughly impressed <3. I've told everyone i know about it and show them the texts you send with pics and all the details. I now have a new auto shop I can trust. Very professional. Exceptional service. Exceeded expectations. The representative remembered my first name from the initial phone call until the completion of the repair. Their use of online technology is like no other. They diagnosed my vehicle and took photos of the areas needing attention. They sent a link where I could access the diagnosis and view the pictures. The online report was well organized and easy to understand. The diagnosis was organized into critical repairs versus recommended repairs. I authorized the repair late afternoon and the vehicle was ready for pick up the following morning and the cost was consistent with the estimate.

Trustworthy & truthful. Picking not only a honest but skilled auto repair shop can be a shot in the dark, this is the place to go. The team here blew me away with their customer service first and foremost. All associates were polite, friendly, informative, respectful and cheerful. The appointment times were exact, no waiting or having to call to see when the car would be hoisted, the communication was fluid, there was no aggressive overselling tactics and there is a genuine feel to their front office. The overall bad reputation of mechanics and auto shops was put to rest during my visit here, especially as a first time customer. They even offer a digital diagnostic so you can review all documents and pictures on your own time, as well as a free shuttle. If you are looking for a new shop to take your vehicle and unsure where to trust, I would definitely recommend giving this shop a chance. Keep up the great work and customer service.

The staff was very friendly when scheduling and dropping off/picking up. What I thought was truly innovative and helpful was how they communicate to the customer. After inspecting the vehicle, they will text you a report with photos of the found issues along with an explanation of what each issue is. Then, they will send you a detailed estimate where you will approve/decline each recommended service. It was all very easy and well explained. Obviously, the most important thing here was that the work was done correctly and at a reasonable price. No complains here. Will definitely use them again in the future.

They have been servicing both of my vehicles for about two years now. Repairs are done for the estimated price and there is no upsell. The best part is that they warranty their work for three years. I had my blower motor repaired two years ago and when it went out again last week they repaired it at no charge.

Got my new vehicle inspected 2pm on a Friday. By 3pm they gave me a thorough detail of my vehicle and identified some worn brakes. By 4 pm my SUV had brand new brakes installed. They even drove me home and picked me up in between. In 2022. Absolutely shocked.

I've gone to CBA twice now and I refuse to go anywhere else. They're fair and trustworthy, providing rides with their shuttle service to and from work/home/wherever. As a young woman I never feel like they take advantage of my limited car knowledge or talk down to me like I've felt at other auto shops. They're just all around great.

Wanted the locking lug nuts removed because the tool I had broke. They gave a range of options and luckily for my sake the most inexpensive one worked. Then they also fixed a brake caliper that was no longer working. Definitely will go back to them for any future issues

I was in “the drivers seat” able to make informed decisions with the mechanics findings and formatted recommendations. It was nice to have time to think about the information before feeling I needed to make a decision about what to have the mechanic do next. The mechanic came from my manufacturer and had extensive experience working on the kind of issue I had. The whole experience instilled confidence in me. Have been to the other Christian Brothers Automotives in the area many times. This was my first time at this one and as expected they did a great job. They always communicate through the process and make sure I understand and agree to the work being done. They are definitely slight more expensive than other shops but they give a better warranty and they stand by their work. Since moving my car repairs to Christian Bros (10+ years ago) my cars run better for longer. I will always bring my cars here!

Had car towed in on Sunday, and I drove out of their shop on Monday at 1 pm. They told me everything they would recommend I do to the car. I agreed to half of their recommendations, and never once did they try and upsale me. Not only that, everything they suggested to me was all done through text. I clicked on the items I wanted repaired, and they repaired them. I didn't talk to anybody until I went and got my car from them. I am sure I could have called and talked to someone there, but everything was clear so there was no need.

First time using Christian brothers, and I have to say I couldn’t be more impressed. They are professional and polite. It’s almost as if they realize dealing with car issues is stressful enough without having to deal with bad attitudes I’ve seen at other shops. I’m sure I could have gone a cheaper route, but they are very reasonably priced and you get what you pay for, a job well done instead of some hack using duct tape and zip ties to save you a couple bucks. I’ll be back next time any of my vehicles need anything. Like I said at the beginning, I was very impressed with the entire experience.

I met the owner, Tom when I dropped my car off the night before my scheduled service. Very nice guy and has a good sense of humor. The Service Manager, Jim is also a very nice guy and explained the service performed in detail. They use a system that will send you a text with a link to your vehicle assessment. It clearly explains any issues found and provides pictures so you can see for yourself what they found! Really great way to communicate! The quote came with a second text with a link and listed all services recommended. All you have to do is click the approval button and submit! They go to work from there. Couldn't be easier! Prices are competitive and as with any service on newer cars, can get pricey. That's what is great about the approval system though. They will only perform the service you approve and you'll know the cost. It's like Amazon for car repair! Thanks guys! I'll be definitely be coming back!

This shop is a very honest and professional business. I took my Chrysler Crossfire to them for some computer repair. They made a great effort to do the work, but did not have the software needed. They did not charge me for the shop time at all. All the staff and management were helpful and courteous. Appreciate dealing with an honest place like this.

I had an exhaust manifold leak and these guys did a great job getting through the rust and fixing it up. It came back with a minor new problem that they went ahead and checked it out after I brought it back in. It turned out to be a coincidence and not their fault, but they went above and beyond and took care of it at no charge. Great guys and I’d be thrilled to recommend them to anyone who needs work done on their vehicle. Very clean and nice shop too.

Upon entering I was greeted with both courtesy and professionalism and I was shown to the waiting area where I enjoyed a free beverage while I waited for my cars oil change to be completed. Free snacks are also available, of which I did not partake on this occasion, but I plan to do so in the future. The mechanic who serviced my car did so with professionalism and completed the job in a timely manner. He also took pictures of my car’s potential problem areas in the future and showed me on my car where those problem areas were. Had taken my car in for a tire repair only to find that it had to be replaced due to a punctured sidewall. While removing the tire, the mechanic inspected my front brakes and noticed the brake pad was completely worn down to nothing and advised that I should replace both the brakes and rotors. Unfortunately, the replacement tire had to be ordered so I left my car overnight and was given a ride home by the Tom MacInnes the owner. They called at 9:30 the next morning and told me the car was ready to pick up and discounted the repair bill by $70+. Obviously, I was very satisfied not only by the speedy service, but also at their professionalism!

I took my 2016 Honda Odyssey here yesterday for a free oil change that they were offering. My appt was not scheduled until 12:30pm, but I got there at 11:30am. Casey was the man who greeted my at the counter with a warm and gentle smile. I was told I could stay at the center until my oil change was done. I had my 13 year old son and 4 year old nephew with me. We were offered Halloween goodie bags, donuts, cider, even a juice box for my nephew, and toy cars to play with! They were done within 20 minutes! Casey also said there was a smaller red brake light out that they replaced for free! I will definitely be going back and ready to pay next time. Exceptional service and a great welcoming and clean center.

After getting stuck with a car that was over heating out of the wild blue, I was calling around and then seen the reviews about this place. Well to be honest I was a little hesitant. But after hearing they do shuttle after you drop off and pick you up..... I can not say enough about these guys!!!! Found more wrong after repairing the first set of items they found and even some how kept the original quote after replacing MORE. I have found a new lifetime shop. First time working with this company and they were awesome. I needed an oil change and I thought I might need brakes too. This is the first auto repair place that I've seen send photos with a vehicle inspection via email. I do trust most mechanics words at auto shops because I'm not a mechanic. However, the photos help give reassurance that my car is fully functioning on all cylinders. Turns out the brake pads have plenty of life(from viewing the photos) and I'll have them replaced at a later date. I will be back to continue business with the Christian Brothers Automotive.
