Unfortunately I’m a little late with this review. If let me tell you. Josh over at Deck Plate was quick with the dispatch. I had some trailer brakes that had seized up and I couldn’t get out of a customer’s dock. He dispatched the Tech “Will” if my memory is correct and he got right to the issue. Repaired it like he was on a NASCAR pit crew. Believe me. You won’t regret giving this place a call. Especially if you’re an Owner Op or waiting on your 90 minute company fleet call. Call them first!

Josh Selev is one of the most friendly, helpful and the most energetic person I have seen during a breakdown, when I needed help. I had been out in -15° Temps in Fargo, for 90 minutes, trying unsuccessfully to free up what turned out to be a mechanically frozen padlock. This padlock was keeping me from delivering a load, traveling well over 600 miles. Josh had completed the work before I had noticed he was on the job. Josh really helped us out when the fuel filter on our bus needed to be changed. He even came to us (!!) and had that filter changed in minutes! I couldn’t believe how easy he made it look, a testament to Josh’s talent and knowledge of Diesel engines. He even took the time to explain what was wrong to me. 10/10 will call again. It’s difficult finding a diesel mechanic for tailgating rigs to begin with and Josh is definitely a diamond in the rough!

Was traveling through Fargo and had truck issues. Called local GMC Dealer they where absolutely no help. Called deckplate based on reviews. They where professional and understanding of situation due to traveling and needing immediate help. when at there shop I was met with a smile and people eager to help. They plugged in to the truck found some issues and worked to correct what they could with time I had. They got me back on the road. I would reccommend Deckplate to anyone. My wife and I were stranded in Fargo with a fuel leak on our diesel pusher motorhome. We contacted Deckplate because of a referral from another service provider who could not respond in a timely manner. Josh came to our aid in less than an hour, immediately diagnosing the problem as a cracked steel fuel line. Because he could not obtain a replacement part for several days, he showed great initiative and located a specialist shop that was able to refurbish and repair the defective line within an hour. He quickly replaced the line, cleaned the fuel spill, and thoroughly tested the repair. All of this was done in less than four hours! We were thrilled to be able to continue our journey the next morning. Josh's charge for his services was so reasonable we felt he deserved a bonus! I was In Kansas City when I noticed a slight fuel leak on my return line. I called every major dealer between Kansas City and Sioux Falls, this included peterbilt, Kenworth, caterpillar, etc. Everyone told me it would be four days to two weeks to change something as simple as a fuel line! I knew I would be going through Fargo and since I had used Deckplate Diesel before, I was confident he would take care of me again! I called Josh at Deckplate and he explained they were very busy but would squeeze me in to get me rolling. This guy knows how to keep repeat business! Josh works on my Buddy's Truck often. He speaks very highly of him. Yesterday I took my van to O'Reilly's to get a Battery for my mini van. I didnt have any tools so i.just let them install it for me. I figured it was easy why not. Uggg big mistake. He hooked battery up backwards. Fried the inline fuse. Then tried to fix the fuse and broke it off. So my buddy talked to Josh. Josh dropped what he was doing and came right over and got everything fixed in less then 20 minutes. AWESOME.
