HONEST!!!!! So a competitor told me that I needed a 600 new muffler. It was not true. I took it to Terry's and they scoped it, turns out no muffler was needed. He is out to get to the issue. If there is no profit to be made he'll not try to sell you something that isn't needed. Again I can't stress enough HONEST!!!!!!

Had issue with exhaust flange breaking between manifold and flex pipe attached to cat, they were able to fix by replaceing just the flex pipe, without charging me price for replacing the cat. Much appreciated as I am from out of town

Super honest mechanic. I have been here multiple times, and every time I am blown away by their integrity. I have numerous stories I could tell about this company, but my favorite happened around six months ago when I had to get a new exhaust. After they put in the new exhaust, my check engine light was still on, and I went in and asked why the engine light was on. They brought out the code scanner and said it was a bad sensor and would cost around $300 to fix. I was bummed out because I thought I was done spending money. But the next day, I came back, and they put in the new sensor and said I was all good to go. I asked how much I owe them, and they gave me a strange look and said I owe them NOTHING. My being confused but happy, asked why. They said when they were taking out the old exhaust; they damaged this sensor which rarely happens. I was willing to pay them $300, AND THE DID NOT TAKE IT?! Are you kidding me?? That is way beyond being honest. I am a customer for life and would trust them with my life savings.

I took my car to Terry's Auto Repair Service. I was referred there by Charles Gabus Ford. They were able to fix my car in a couple of hours. They did a great job. I do recommend them to all who need their car(s) to be repaired. The price was great and the service super. I do recommend calling a couple of day(s) before you bring your car and try to bring it between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM.

Im from out of state. Mn. Stopping in IA to visit family before going south, pulling a camper and my 2007 chev. Silverado had an aweful smell coming into my cab. After a wonderful referral from Higgins Auto. These gals and guys fixed my truck right up!! Exhaust fixed and no more smell with no added costs!! Love Love this place!! The muffler rusted off my car so I called Terry's and they were able to get me in right away. The gentleman doing the repairs actually got something in his eye while my car was in the shop so he had to go to the doctor which delayed repair time. I was afraid I'd be without a car for another day but he came back to work and finished it for me that evening. The office manager was great about calling with updates so I could easily arrange to get to the shop before they closed. The charges were very reasonable, especially for the great service. I would definitely recommend Terry's!

Really amazing service. I had my catalytic converter stolen/damaged twice and Terry came up with a way to prevent further theft and saved me a bunch of money in the process. I was back on the road the very next day.

Based on my experience Terry's Auto does work that is necessary and definitely does not up sell. I even witnessed a guy told not to spend $200 because he was not making a good decision to switch tires from on vehicle to another.

Took my car to a dealership to get brakes and rotors checked and an alignment done. Got a call from them saying i need new shocks, struts, steering rack, and tire tie rods in the front and two tires, total of all this came out to 2600-2800 dollars in repairs. Took my car here and asked them to look at the list i received and service was amazing they checked it out and came back to tell me that everything looked fine and took my car to get a test drive and gave me solid information on what could have been making my car pull to the right. Wasnt out to make money off people and didnt even charge me since they pretty much all they did was an inspection. Earned a new customer for sure.

Lovely folks. I was nervous going somewhere new. They were very personable. Gave me prices that were very manageable. And for an extensive muffler repair, it only took a couple hours. Very happy! 10/10 would recommend.

Every time I have had my car repaired, they are extremely honest. I never feel like they are ripping me off. This last time I had my daughter's car towed. It did not arrive at Terry's until after 5pm. They close at 6. I was amazed that they had it fixed by 6 so she would have the car for the weekend. No one likes having their car fixed, but I know that I can rely on Terry's to fix it right, fast and for a reasonable price.

I cannot say enough about this shop. I was driving across country and had an O2 sensor problem. They took me in immediately, rethreaded the socket and replaced the sensor, for a great price. They were friendly and quite knowledgeable!

They took a look at my car to see where the antifreeze was leaking from. After examining the car they found the leak. They replaced the water pump and rge timing belt. There is no leak and now I can go thru winter without worrying about refilling the car with antifreeze. And stay warm too! Thank you!!

Walked in with a leaking exhaust, 1988 Corvette, it did have a pypes performance exhaust but that wasn't a problem, they found a flange bolt and screwed it back in for free. Very helpful.
