Zach was awesome to work with! I was travelling through Denver and he squeezed me in to an already busy schedule and saw me right away. He and his crew were able to quickly diagnose the problem as some loose bolts from a previous repair. They had me in and out in less than 15 minutes and didn't charge even for their time. This may have been my most pleasant and efficient experience I have had at an auto shop. They were very generous, courteous, and honest. I know they strive to have top-end customer service and I can confirm the fact that they do. I would recommend this place to anyone and if I ever need work done when in Denver, I will for sure seek out Urban Autocare.

Got a flat tire in a sketchier part of town and Urban Auto was the closest place to pop up on my GPS, and I’m really thankful I was able to get to them with what PSI I had left in the tire. Zach and his Team were able to get me in to patch up my tire right away and help save the day. Super friendly, supportive, and pinpointed right where the issue was. Amazing customer service! I recently had my tires all replaced by them (btw best price in town!) well this morning I had a nail in my tire and they were able to fit me in even they they are booked 2 weeks out and patch it up for me! Also most people don’t remember my name. I’ve lived with this issue my whole life but Ryan remembers me every time I come in there and remembers what I drive. Highly recommend this company!

This is a short tale of stupidity on my part, and honesty and integrity on their part. My truck wouldn’t start so I looked for an automotive place that was near me and had good reviews. I had to have the truck towed there, referred by Urban Auto care. I received a text informing me that my truck had been received and was being worked on. Later on in the day, they called me to let me know that the gas tank was empty. They performed the usual diagnostics and let me know that the truck was running just fine. They even went so far as to take the truck down to the nearest gas station and put 20 bucks in it for me. Red-faced, I came the following day to pick up my truck. To my surprise, they cut the diagnostic price in half and we all shared a chuckle at my expense. A dishonest business would have raked me over the coals but these guys not only told me the truth but went above and beyond. As far as I’m concerned, they are my mechanic from now on. Bravo boys, I really appreciate it!

Zack and Ryan were great to work with over the phone. So they let us tow the car there while waiting for an appointment. They also let us leave the car there a couple of days before we could get there. I really appreciate it. We got a new battery and they checked all the other fluids and were just so professional. They also suggested a tow company that we could use (Villalobos) and they were wonderful, as well.

Exploring my 21 year old car to make sure it could make a round trip from Denver to Omaha without any major problems. I was concerned about possible issues on I-80. My car definitely has some serious issues and I am now aware and know what I need to do. I appreciate everything they did for me and I look forward to have them help me with getting my old car in a much better condition so it may last a few more years! Thank you all!

I’ve been taking my cars to Urban for years. They’re honest, fair and helpful. I was able to get my truck in for a tire repair without an appointment on a busy Monday and they got it done the same day. I highly recommend them. Thanks Urban!

I called about replacing a battery. I explained that I was informed of the difficulty of the battery and what other people quoted me. They told me over the phone would be close to $200. Which was cheaper than other quotes I received so I dropped it off the next day. I wrote on the key drop box form to call me before anything was performed. I received an e-invoice for diagnostic $80. I should have called right away before they performed the diagnostic because I already knew what needed to be completed. Then was told it would be closer to $300 due to difficulty. Since the quote was way higher than what I was told, I had services completed at the dealership for cheaper. Wasted $80. Update 3-5 stars: After this review the manager, Zach, contacted me. He saw my review and discussed with his employee the situation. He agreed that fees should have been discussed up front. He was very friendly and understanding about the situation. We came to a resolution that satisfied my complaint. Pleased with the outcome and the customer service. Thank you.

My circumstances a little different because my vehicle wasn’t running but I took my 2013 KIA Sorento Urban Autocare So they can run a diagnostic. They were straightforward and transparent about everything. They had great customer service and flexibility. I would use them again.

I like your posting of the results of the computer engine scan. It gave me time to prioritize the repairs vs. cost. Might be nice if, with the scan, there was provided a brief non-hysterical set of consequences of delaying the repair(s). (This might be done over the phone, if only to avoid possible legal entanglements.) On picking up the vehicle, I found myself competing with two other customers. It would have been nice to hear your expert opinions on the general condition of the engine, and things I might pay attention to. Again, comments on the consequences of delaying some of the repairs would be useful. In all, I was impressed with the your efficiency in diagnosing the engine issue, as well as your ability to rapidly order and make the repairs -- resulting in a 24-hour turn-around time. I will be back.

Asked them to change oil, rotate tires, and change air filter. They said air filter was fine even though I asked them to change it. They said they rotated my tires and clearly didn’t and I had to point it out to them. They apologized. My service was better in the past :/ not sure what to think about this place anymore.

This is the best experience I’ve had at an auto shop in denver!!! All of the staff was super friendly and helpful, Alex helped me take a look at my windshield wipers that had become disconnected and fixed them super quickly. Will definitely come back for any of my car needs!!

We ran into car trouble just outside Denver while moving across country. The first shop we contacted told us it would be a week or more before they could fix our car. Luckily, we found Jeremy at Urban Autocare. He was able to assess the problem right away, got the necessary part on an expedited basis, and got us back on the road the next day before noon! He even waived some of the fees from the inspection process. The whole process was professional, friendly, and impressively fast. So much appreciation to Jeremy and the team at Urban Autocare!

I’ve been going to Urban Autocare for a decade now with two different cars and am very happy with the work they do. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and take the time to chat about the work to be done so I can understand it better. The customer portal they use for paying for repairs and giving customer access to pictures of the work done is fantastic. I can see what was broken and needs to be replaced and records of what we talked about over the phone for approval of work. I haven’t seen a company use this platform before and it’s very refreshing to have an abundance of info like this. Thanks for all the great work Urban Autocare!!

Zach's customer service is absolutely superb. He quickly helped reattach a strap that came loose underneath my car. Since it was a really quick job, he was able to fit me in very quickly. My impression of the people here is they work hard and value their customers. I will definitely be coming back in a couple months to get my brakes replaced.

Urban Autocare is great! I hadn’t had my brakes serviced in over four years, so when they started squeaking recently I assumed I needed everything replaced. Urban Autocare told me that I could use a little maintenance on the rear drums but otherwise everything was fine. Setting up an appointment was easy, and the people I dealt with were professional and understanding. I dropped my vehicle off for break pads replacement, and they did a thorough inspection. I really liked how they took pictures of the issues found and seemed to be straight forward. They ended up finding a small leak coming from a hose on my transmission cooler. They wanted to charge me $700+ to replace two hoses, a couple clamps, and refill my transmission fluid. That unfortunately left a bad taste in my mouth regarding this business, and that price felt like they were trying to take advantage of me. I probably will never come back here because of that. They do a good job, but it’s way too expensive.

Amazing customer service! I just got a new jeep when the headlight went out. Zach (who works there) grabbed a mechanic to see what type it was. Zach got the bulb out and put a new one in, all in the parking lot! I will never go anywhere else; I highly recommend this shop!

I heard a whining start coming from my engine when I was driving around, and stopped in to Urban Autocare right away because they were the closest mechanic and had great reviews. They were able to give me a quick, on-the-spot guess as to what was causing the problem, and gave me the option of leaving my car or returning the following day. Ted in particular was extremely helpful and friendly, and their online system that notifies the customer as to what work needs to be done and how much it costs was fantastic. Their transparency and attention to detail were incredible, and they were able to fix my car for less than I expected and had it ready to go the day after I dropped it off. I would recommend Urban Autocare to anyone who is having an issue with their vehicle, and while I hope to not have to return anytime soon, the next time I do have an issue I'll definitely come to their shop.

My recently purchased Subaru clearly had two concerns, a driveline issue and an oil leak, however unsure of the issue, Urban Autocare diagnosed and pinpointed both problems. Fearing an axle, a wheel bearing was suspected. When they got into it, they found it was an adjustment that was able to be retorqued without parts which reduced the expense considerably. I was familiar with the shop from the previous owners, however hadn't been there since the new owner operators and really glad to find competent honest owners. There's competent, and there's honest, but it's not easy to find both. I had a very positive experience and recommend their services.

This place is the real deal. I am a 17 year old high schooler and I came in with a broken windshield wiper and asked for a quote, Ryan told me he would take a look, came back in less than 5 minutes and said it was fixed and let me go with no charge!! Such a big relief, such a great employee, such an honest business and would highly recommend to everyone.

This is the first review I’ve even written because this place is that good! The first time I went was for squeaky brakes and they were totally up front that I didn’t need new brakes they just squeak a bit. They Could have easily conned me into buying a new brake system. The second time I had a flat tire and they repaired it on a Friday afternoon free of charge even though they were busy. TLDR they are honest rockstars!

One of the only shops in town to return my emails and calls asking for a diagnosis and estimate on repairs. There were able to take my 4runner and investigate. They accommodated my work schedule with an over night drop off. Very professional, thanks Ted and Zack. As a bonus they were super nice to my pup who accompanied me over. Great guys all around and quality work. Well broken down on a nice and organized invoice. Will come back again for more work whenever that happens.

We were on vacation 1000 miles from home, when we noticed a rattling sound from under the car. When we called, they told us to bring the car down right away. We dropped it off and took our toddler to play in a park. Less than an hour later, they called to tell us the car was fixed. When my husband walked to pick it up they just handed hithe keys and told him not to worry about a payment. They made everything so much easier for us. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a car repair shop. They were super professional and helpful. Answered all of my questions clearly and explained all of the services clearly. Also laid out everything on an easy online portal so I could see all of the charges before they worked on my car - no surprises. My brakes are working great again and my wheels are perfectly aligned. I had an unfamiliar light come on spontaneously when I was in the area where urban autocare is located. I looked up the light and my manual said I needed to get off the road ASAP and my oil was dangerously low. It was snowing very hard. I called urban autocare 30 minutes before they closed and they said come on in! They stood out in the snow with me and inspected my oil, taught me how to identify this issue through looking at the oil stick, filled me up to a safe level and instructed me on next steps. They noticed during this time that my coolant was low and filled that too! They also taught me how to monitor that! They stood out in the snow with me doing all this well place closing time. They also charged me nothing. They were just truly good people trying to help me out. I would recommend them and go back to them in a heart beat!!! Thank you!!!

I needed emergency tire repair to plug a leak in one of my tires. I called a lot of auto service centers all over the Denver Metro Area but no one could take me in. I finally decided to call Urban Autocare, the only place I hadn't tried, and spoke with Ted who said he could squeeze me in. I was so grateful. The service was affordable (only $40), professional and timely, but mostly importantly, Ted was friendly and understanding of my situation. We spoke on the phone and coordinated the details and then I had the pleasure of meeting him in person, and the encounter only confirmed what I knew about Ted and the service at Urban Autocare. They are friendly, professional and they deliver good service because they care about the community. I will go to them for all of my car needs from now on.

When a problem persisted after the first time I took my car in, they honored my previous diagnostic payment and spent substantial time doing more tests for no additional charge. The problem, when found, was one that required specialty care and they sent me, free of charge to an exhaust specialist. I'll definitely go back again.

My serpentine belt shredded while I was driving. I had to have my 2000 Pathfinder towed to them. Ted took great care of it. They took pictures when it arrived and sent photos of the work they would be doing. They were very professional and honest with me about the work that needed to be done. Urban Autocare is great! They have a very convenient online estimate-job approval and then payment system. I was able to drop off and pick up after hours which worked great for my schedule. Recommended to me by a friend who didn't end up using their services, but Urban Autocare is by far the best garage I've taken a vehicle to (and that's saying something after living out of a van that liked to breakdown for 2 years)! I have used Urban Autocare twice. I like their services because they send/show pictures of what is wrong with the vehicle, via email and text and you can assess quickly what you want them to work on or not very quickly. They are very professional and friendly in their office and you are never guessing on how much something costs or how long it's gonna take. The courtesy Lyft ride home is also really nice when you drop off your vehicle!

I recently had a problem where I needed to get gas drained out of my motorcycle so that it could be shipped the next day. Nowhere else was willing to help, but one of the mechanics at Urban Autocare was incredibly friendly and offered to help even with a full schedule. They did the job in under 10 minutes at no charge. Just because of this experience, if any of my vehicles had any issues I’d take it here with how kind and helpful all of the staff were when I needed help.

I have always taken my vehicles to a dealership...simply out of habit. I live a block away from Urban Autocare and thought I'd give it a chance. I had an A/C issue and called a few hours before closing hoping for an appt the next day. I was impressed with Zach and his team from the first phone conversation. Although they were clearly busy he said they'd try to take an initial look at it that day. I got a call 2 hours later saying the job was completed and well below the cost I anticipated. Urban Autocare was great. My engine malfunction lamp was on, and I was concerned about getting it fixed for a planned mountain trip in 7 days. Even though they weren’t able to fit me in right away, they offer to at least read the malfunction code. Once they did, they offered to fix right away and did so within the business day. Happy to get to update my review after taking my car in today. Great experience start to finish. I was able to schedule thru email to drop my car off and they arranged a Lyft for me to get home (seriously love this service, so helpful!). Last time I came in, they didn't have a record of me making an appointment, but all went smoothly today and they had my information and notes on what I needed looked at. Got a call in the afternoon updating me and was able to pick it up having gotten a repair done and another couple of things diagnosed. Both times I've been here I've appreciated that they are transparent and practical - they don't invent non-existent issues or exaggerate a problem in order to upsell like most every other shop. They did a minor repair on my car, gave me an honest assessment of the other things I asked them to look at, and gave me a timeframe of when to get those things done. They gave me detailed information over the phone and a thorough diagnostic print-out, complete with future repair estimates and photos. Ted was an absolute delight to work with 🤗 Very refreshing to have a shop with friendly, trustworthy professionals right in the neighborhood. Thanks y'all!

My first experience working with Urban Autocare was a positive one! My battery died and Zach was fabulous to work with. He came and jumped my car, brought it to the shop to have the battery replaced and then brought it back to me. Communicating with me through the whole process! It was easy to pay for my bill online and now my car is running beautifully. I appreciate so much the extra care Zach and his team took, particularly during a time where our nation is in flux. I was driving across the country and my car decided it no longer had an interest in working properly. I went to 3-4 garages over a 3 week span getting things fixed. Some places just didn’t seem to care and even replaced wrong parts and my car seemed to break down again ever 50-100 miles. I finally brought it to Urban Automotive and they were the absolute best. They broke down everything that needed to be replaced and why, and they were in constant communication with me. When I got my car back, I drove from CO to CT with zero problems all because they fixed everything perfectly. These guys are the best, I’d 100% recommend bringing your car to them

I had an oil change and tire rotation done here, they also checked my brakes and during their inspection noticed that the cap for my coolant had broken off. They called to let me know it’d take a bit longer because they were waiting for the part to get in, but they replaced it for free! They also were able to put my keys into a lockbox so I could get my car after hours since I was unavailable during hours. I always love coming here, I think it’s reasonably priced and they’re very professional, friendly and have dog treats if your dog comes with you!

Wow!!! I don't leave a ton of reviews, but this is the best and easiest auto-shop experience I have ever had. I have a Subaru Legacy 2011 which lends itself to extremely difficult headlamp changes, and often costs me $50-80 just to change them because you have to remove the bumper. I stopped by this morning (bringing in the wrong bulbs-oops) and the guy up front was super friendly and ready to help. I feel terrible for forgetting his name, maybe Nick? He took a look at my car, did a bit of research, and said it might cost about $70 to replace them, but he wants to just try to do it himself first. So what does he do? He goes and gets the correct bulb from the back, and fixes it by himself, on the spot IN LIKE 5 MINUTES. Not only that, but he then sent me on my way without charging me for anything. Not even the bulb after I so stupidly brought the wrong ones in. Thank you so much for running a customer-centric business in an industry that can be so shady and difficult for someone who is not car savvy. I look forward to actually coming to your shop and paying your business when I DO have an actual issue. Thank you guys!!!! You made my whole week!!

I couldn't say more great things about Urban Autocare! I have been taking my car to them for several years now. I first discovered them when I took my car to Firestone and they suggested a $1,500 repair for some headlight damage and I couldn't afford it. I then went to Urban Autocare and they said that was a valid quote for one solution but they could work with me on some alternative, less expensive solutions. They did some rewiring of the headlights and the fix cost around $150! More recently, I took my car to them to get my gaskets fixed - a very labor intensive project. They quoted me around $3,700 and two weeks of time (common quote and time frame). After five days, I received a phone call saying the work was complete AND $500 under budget!!!!!! It was amazing! I cannot speak more highly to this company! Also, I heard they help the parents at the school across from their location by giving discounts. Just another reason to go there because they give back to the community!

After replacing a cracked ball joint, one of the customer service reps forgot to include a necessary wheel alignment in the original estimate. Had an unusual battery connectivity issue. Walked in without an appointment at 230pm and they squeezed me in! On top of that, they were able to do an oil change and have he problem fixed by 4pm. Reasonable prices and excellent service. 100% will get my business in the future.

My review is an echo of most of the others, which is that this place is fantastic. Previous to coming here, I built up this weird idea that if an autocare shop has nice, clean interiors, they're just trying to rip you off, but URBAN AUTOCARE couldn't be further from the opposite. The place is gorgeous, and all of the staff are ridiculously professional and educational, to the point where they not only took pictures of the problems they fixed with my car, but taught me how to maintain certain problems myself. They often will let me know if something requires fixing immediately or if it's just something to keep an eye on. Everyone there is super helpful, honest, and kind. I've recommended URBAN AUTOCARE to everyone I know that needs a place to have their car looked at, and a few of my friends drive from across town to UA for repair/maintenance. They're that good.

They are so helpful and never once make it seem like they are trying to take advantage. The are honest (with one exception noted below) and when I needed a repair they gave me a few options from least to most expensive and said they would all work but gave the pros and cons for each option. Beware that they charge you like $30 for an estimate which they don't disclose to you at all. Just asked for payment after.

I immediately drove my car to Urban Autocare and asked the gentleman Nick if he could look at my car. When we popped the hood, my radiator collapsed and created a huge spill on the ground. Test showed multiple failure in the exhaust system, and the repair cost surpassed the value of the car. I moved to Colorado from Chicago nearly 8 years ago and have had trouble finding a shop that I like and trust. I don't have that problem anymore. I took my beloved '99 XJ in for an O2 sensor and break job. I also mentioned that I thought I may need some fluids in the diff's and transmission flushed. Instead of seeing dollar signs in their eyes, they had a look and told me they didn't think it was necessary at the time. This saved me about $500. I can't begin to say how much I appreciated this level of honesty. I've never met a shop that would not only not try to up-sell a customer but actually dissuade them from services they didn't need. Needless to say this is my shop for everything from and oil change to an engine rebuild going forward.

Let me set the scene for you: two young women on a cross country road trip in the beginning of July have their air conditioning's condensation filter malfunction, so from Chicago to Denver they drive with water dampening their feet and their spirits. Enter Nick from Urban Autocare: Our Hero. We called several mechanics on our way to Denver to see if they'd be able to help fix our problem within the two days we were spending in the city. Many of them either shot us down, didn't know what we were talking about, or were actually a medical laboratory (wrong phone number). But then we called Urban Autocare. Nick (OUR HERO) picked up, listened to our plight, and then said he'd do some research and call us back. Three hours later, our shoes wet and our hopes dying, Nick called back and said that Urban Autocare could definitely help us and that we should drop the car off when we got into the city. Our Very Wet Vehicle was dropped off at a little before 8am, and our air conditioning condensation filter was repaired by 11:30am. These people are wonderful. We are from Boston and will probably not need a mechanic in Denver again any time soon, but honestly I sort of wish we did because this was AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE.
