This is a mixed review. The front desk needs a system in place for scheduling and all communication. My car was "fixed" and I experienced problems driving out of town from the original problem. They did make it right and it's running great. The same thing happened to my daughter who got her car fixed there. She had to take it back for a tweak and it's running great. We are grateful.

Took a bit longer than I would’ve liked. Took a bit for the correct part to come in. This was the second place I had taken it to. I really appreciate how thorough they were, rather than just guessing like the last place. I’m definitely satisfied with the end result. My issues were resolved and my car is running great.

Very satisfied! They did not have appt opening until the following week but encouraged me to come in before the weekend to do a diagnostic to make sure my truck was safe to drive over the weekend. It ended up being a simple fix so they did it for me anyway. I was in and out in less than 30mins. I’ll now come here for my regular Toyota service checks! They were also very personable when I walked in and moved my truck for me.

I have used this group a couple of times for some things that I would consider, non-standard vehicle repairs. They fixed a display light in my center console so that I could see the time and direction at night and they fixed my driver door handle, it broke one day and they replaced it for me. I have also had them replace my CV Axle joins and repair a jammed seat belt. I have Generation 4 4Runner and they have been able to fix anything I have thrown at them so far. I will be back.

I went to them in 2021 to replace torque converter in my 2012 Camry. I was pleased with work and decided to stick with them for other service and repair for my Camry. I went back to Toy Doctor in 2022 because driver side door wouldn't open. So, they took care of replacing the actuator in one day. Basically, since last year, all work on my 2012 Camry is being done by Toy Doctor. At 139,000 miles and counting and running smoothly, I'm hoping we can keep this car running until the wheels fall off or I'm too old to drive, whichever comes first.

My son took the Kia Sorento to his workplace. He works the night shift as an nurse and parked in one of the employee parking lots. Sometime early in the morning before sunrise, thieves broke into the car through the front left door, breaking the outer door handle and completely destroying the key lock. They then broke the garnish on the steering column and lower instrument panel, and damaged ignition assembly, key switch, along with the wire harnesses. Thankfully, they failed to jumpstart the Kia as they had made a mess of the wire harness and could not figure out which wires had to be re-connected to jumpstart the engine. Real professionals and other jokes. We are extremely pleased and impressed with the repair service on our 2008 Kia Sorento. As I had stated in a previous review, we will be doing all our future car maintenance business with Toy Doctors for both my 2008 Kia Sorento and my 2017 Camry SE’s maintenance.

Love this place!! They are always very transparent with me regarding prices. They also do a routine maintenance check during every oil change and give me a list of things my car needs from most important to cosmetic with prices. They always tell me the price of the most important maintenance needed with tax and labor which is SO beneficial to save up and not dip into emergency funds right away. I never ever feel judged for not doing what they recommend or even judged when asking questions. I would say the prices are fair, maybe slightly on the expensive side when comparing to the big chains (like big O that put cheap things in your car) but the care and attention they give to their clients and my car before, during, and after the appointment is 1000% worth the extra buck or two. I’ve also NEVER had an issue making an appointment. Rachel is so kind and sweet and really works with you to make sure your car can get services in a quick and timely manner.

It pays to take your car to a place that specializes in the type of car you own (I own a Pontiac Vibe which is exactly the same car as the Toyota Matrix). Never had any issues and they keep your maintenance records for you which is very convenient. Been going there for years and won’t go anywhere else unless I buy a “fix or repair daily” (Ford).

Toy Doctor was fantastic! They saved our family vacation! Our air bag suspension failed on I70 and we limped in to Denver. They came highly recommend by two other locations that could not get us in. They got us in on the day we reached out to them, completed the repair the next day and got us back on our way to the Tetons! We are so thankful to find them and for their quick response! I would use them again and again should the need ever arise... hopefully it won't.

They’re honest and they seem they really want to take care of your car or truck and get it fixed properly you have to trust the people that work on your vehicles and I trust the Toy Doctor people things don’t always work out perfectly but they try hard they’re a bit expensive I know so is everybody else and it makes it tough on us but they warrantee their work and put the Toyota parts in to the vehicles instead of aftermarket unless we request it I’m perfectly satisfied.

Replaced a cooling pump for my 09 Prius after the red triangle of death warning light came on, which freaked me out. They Did a good job. Had to wait 2 days to get an appt and 1 1/2 days in shop. Overall I trust them. Car repairs are expensive but they are reasonable and fair at Toy Doctor. They know Priuses.

On a weekday, I brought my car into be winterized by Mr. John Brekke and he did a very accurate, well done job. But, I neglected to tell him about an engine light that came on occasionally. On Saturday, not only did the engine light come on but three other lights as well. Yikes! I was planning to leave on a road trip (15 hours of driving) on that coming Wednesday so he asked me to bring the car right in. He was able to effectively fix the car so I’m very happy with his work at Toy Doctor. Staff were great too!

I brought my 2012 Toyota Camry here because I thought I'd been hearing some noises & just wanted to get it checked out. The workers were very friendly, polite, & got back to me quickly. They were unable to find anything wrong with my car. I think some mechanics would try to scam you in this situation, but these people were very honest about their findings. I would recommend this place. I will come back if I have other issues. Update: 6 months later, I came back for more car maintenance, and I just love these guys! There is nothing negative to be said about my experience with Toy Doctor. I was able to bring my vehicle in the same day I called them about my issues. I had to have extensive body work done and they were able to finish the job I originally came in for plus additional services they had recommended in just 1 day! We took our CR-V in to have a check engine light problem diagnosed. The original diagnosis seemed very straight forward and, while it was an accurate identification, if was, unfortunately, not the only issue. The secondary issue took much more time to identify and correct. Ace and team were very diligent about making sure they stuck with the job until they had successfully solved the problem. In the end, I was very satisfied with the work that was performed and felt like we were treated very fairly about the charges. I would definitely recommend them to friends and plan to call them first the next time we need service.

Recently moved to Denver and where I previously lived we had a family mechanic that we could always trust. When I first moved out here I was looking for a place that I could bring my car to and trust, but didn’t want to pay dealership prices. I will tell you that this shop gets the job done! Always honest, fair priced - and most importantly they do excellent work without trying to overcharge. This shop is as good as you can get if you are a Toyota owner (from experience)

I moved to Denver about 2 ½ months ago. My car started overheating so I called around right away. I got it into a different shop originally. They took a look and told me that I had a radiator leak and that my head gaskets had blown. They quoted me between 2-4000 dollars IF they didn’t find more damage when taking it apart. They did have a loaner car, but 1) they didn’t tell me about it- I only found out because I later on asked and 2) it was $40 a day. I decided to tow my car to a Toy Doctor where they also had Subaru certified techs for a second opinion. They told me that they saw no sign whatsoever of the head gaskets blowing and that they didn’t know why Groove Subaru had told me that. They also gave me a free loaner car right away.I only ended up paying $1,000 at Toy Doctor! I would 100% go back and I felt super taken care of throughout the entire experience.

Great shop! Their prices are fair and they go above and beyond. Seems like a family-run place. I brought in my Toyota for an oil change. Without asking or requiring additional payment they fixed a missing bolt on my battery housing and replaced some missing plastic clips in my wheel well. I had ordered the plastic clips, and was pleasantly surprised to see they already had been replaced when I went out to fix them myself! Will be using them exclusively for our Toyota.

My family has used the Toy Doctor for years. They have always done quality/timely work on our vehicles. My most recent experience involved me having my truck towed to their location after hours without anyone knowing it was coming. They have an after hours key drop with envelops so you can tell them what’s wrong and leave keys to your vehicle. The next morning they were open, I called to explain better what was wrong with my truck. The staff was incredibly friendly when I called and even asked ‘Which one are you? The brother or the son.’ That told me that I am more than just a customer to them. They were able to fix my problem (and a couple of other more serious ones that I wasn’t aware of) and have my truck back to me in a speedy manner. Pick up/checkout was fast, easy and friendly. I will definitely continue to use Toy Doctor for all my Toyota repair needs!

I really appreciate that I received a comprehensive list of the services that I couldn't afford now, but will be looking into in the future. I own a 1998 Toyota Land Cruiser. I have a stack of order invoices from Toy Doctor Inc. big enough to write a novel. In the beginning, my mother owned the car and only took it to Toy Doctor. When she recalls her service she raves about how honest they were, and how they were always a better value compared to other Toyota specialists. I think that sums up how I feel as well. If you can trust them to maintain a car for 15 + years, and make your mother happy then I think it is obvious there is not a better place to take your car. Bottom line, They are professionals. Everyone I have worked with is ASE certified here including the service advisors! Their reputation is based on merit, and ability to perform. TAKE YOUR TOYOTA & LEXUS VEHICLE HERE!!!

I had an issue with my 2013 Lexus GX460 recently where the 4wd system was stuck in 4hi, and there were about 5 lights on the dash. I called, worried about a delay getting my car back, and they were able to fit me in same day. I got a call back promptly to confirm the issue, a bad wheel speed sensor harness, and they told me that they could fix it same day. I was unbelievably happy with the service and professionalism they provided. This will be the only place I take my GX, they were amazing. Even though it was a bit of a drive, it was well worth it!

When I leave home, I'll drive at least 8 miles on dirt roads, eventually damaging my car. Toy Doctor made it all better and up to date on everything. Because it would take a while to complete, I was given a loaner car...at no charge. Ace mechanic John Brekke, made my 1993 Camry, with hand roll down windows, manual transmission and more than 377,000 miles good as new. The difference was noticeable. Thanks John. And, thank you Rachel for greeting all your customers with a sweet smile and keeping us notified of progress on our vehicles...and for the loaner car. Great job everyone.

.I have been using Toy Doctor for years, mainly because I have always driven a Lexus. Since most of my services are routine, I continued to use them for maintenance on my Jeep. I also have a BMW that needed shocks and breaks, so I called to make sure that they could service my BMW. They said that they could and I took my car in the next day and dealt with Rachel, who is always pleasant. Chrissy on the other hand, isn't. Chrissy called me back to explain the pricing for rear brakes and rear shocks on my 2008 BMW. $1900. I thought that was quite high and told her that I wanted to make a few calls and would call her back. Without a bye, she hung up on me. I called another trusted mechanic who gave me a price for the same service of $775. I always thought Toy Doctor's prices were a bit inflated, but they did good work, so I did not mind paying a little more. After getting a much, much better price, I took the loaner car they gave me back and went to pick up my car. Chrissy (with the bad attitude) without saying "Welcome back" or "How are you today?" says, "Did you fill the loaner car back up?" First of all, it was not full when you gave it to me, and, I went home and back (about 10 miles round trip) because I was concerned about driving a car with 265,000 miles on it, smelling like oil anywhere else. She had more sass and walked away like she did not believe me. I used less than $3 in gas on the car, but have given them thousands in service. Thinking that this is the last time I will use them.

I highly recommend this shop. I recently took my 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser to have them diagnose and repair a brake booster/master cylinder issue. All of the shop staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and were diligent in finding the most cost-effective (but still effective!) solution possible. Chris went out of his way to help my folks, at times actually sending someone to pick up and drop off their cars. That's the best of customer care. I continue to bring my own Toyota here because I trust them so much! They have always been honest and up front with me about work that needs to be done and even tell me what can wait until later. I always follow their advice! In my experience, this business is built on sound principles of honesty and integrity, that is rare today. I bought a used Toyota Camry. The car was in great shape but about a week after I bought it began to periodically pull to the left or right. This was a sudden pull not a sway. I took it to two places and ended up with an alignment which didn't fix the problem and balanced wheels which also didn't fix it. I took it to Toy Doctor and in about an hour they called to tell me a bolt had been left out of the left rear wheel knuckle and another bolt was misthreaded causing the hole to wear and the wheel to move. They fixed it by replacing the assembly and now the car drives fine. I'm impressed at the quick accurate diagnosis.

Took my Highlander for a repair, got a quote for ~$1080, called few more places and found a better deal somewhere else. Few weeks later got a coupon for an oil change, called to schedule but was told "We wanted to help you before but you decided to get a cheaper price somewhere else, oil change is for customers who wants us to take care of their car, we suggest you take your car somewhere else." They did job for me before (installed a hitch), did good job installing, but then wanted $140 extra because "we didn't know it will be harder than we thought", to the credit of the owner he took care of that unexpected "we didn't know" price.

Edit (3/9/21): The called me after seeing the below review and were very understanding of my experience. They said they do not markup 200% as mentioned below and they go off of the Manufacturer's recommended MSRP. Lesson learned that it pays to shop around. Sometimes shops may not be able to get the same OEM prices like the one's found online. I applaud Toy Doctor for the integrity move of calling and explaining this to me. +1 Pros: 1) They correctly diagnosed the issue 2) They advertise a warranty for their parts for 2 years 3) Good COVID precautions 4) I think they air'd up my tires Cons: 1) There was a heavy up-sell that left me with a bad taste. I would describe the tone as condescending and demeaning. 2) The markup on the required part was 200% 3) They insisted I needed special service that I couldn't do without them. However, I knew (from experience and from a dealer) that this service was not even applicable to my car. This unfortunately undermined my trust in Toy Doctor. 4) The diagnosed part and connectors were damaged after diagnosis. This took away my ability to sell them for parts. Neutral: 1) Wouldn't sell me a stand-alone part. Recommendation: 1) Quit while you're ahead. 2) Work on customer interaction 3) Whether it was on purpose or not, be sure you're accurate in what is actually needed. Summary: Overall, my experience was a mixed bag. They correctly diagnosed the problem. I ended up replacing the part myself for less than half of their parts cost alone. And I did not need any special service to get these parts working. I'm happy with the diagnosis. I'm not happy with the treatment of myself or my vehicle. I'll acknowledge that most of this could be chalked up to someone having a bad day and Toy Doctor building 2-year warranty into their prices (though most parts have some warranty anyway). Though the damage to my original part is kind of inexcusable.

I had been to the Toy Doctor one time before, so I wasn't a "long-time customer" but as I was driving home from work one afternoon, my truck started to stall out and all the lights on the dashboard came on, so I started toward the Toy Doctor. My truck died less than a mile from the shop. I called them, explained what was going on. Two people came within 10 minutes. One hooked a battery charger to my truck and drove it to the shop. The other gave me a ride to the shop. They took my truck in and gave me a loaner. I was home within 30 minutes of my truck breaking down. It was the alternator and a couple other things. They fixed my truck and the whole ordeal was over in 24 hours. They are AH-MAY-ZING!!

Happened to be in Denver when I needed to get my oil changed and tires rotated. Took it to the Toy Doctor as they have done previous work on my 4Runner. As usual, the staff was awesome and they were able to squeeze me into the schedule. During the service, they noticed a couple of little things and called me as is their normal procedure to discuss what they found and make recommendations as to whether it is critical to fix now or just monitor until the next service. I added two to fix now and one to monitor for the next service. When you have a 98' 4Runner with 335,000 miles and have the intent to drive it passed 500,000 it is good to have a quality business you can rely upon to help you meet your goals. The folks at Toy Doctor definitely fall into the category.

I had a electrical grimlen with my 4runner... Already had my girl out for 2 days and it's my DD. I didn't want to just take her in to my general mechanic bc they aren't Toyota specialist and I didn't want to have her there forever while they spent their time diagnosing. I then searched Google for a good Toyota mechanic who wasn't the stealership, I then found the Toy Doctor. Chris was the main person who I spoke with. Right from the start he told me his suggestions and what he thought I should check myself,... To make a long story short I ended up taking a chance and getting my 4runner towed right to the Toy Doctor after being overwhelmed and just ready for it to get back on the road. I'm so glad I did. They diagnosed her the very next day and gave me a list of issues they found from their 50 point inspection. At no point was I EVER pushed into a service or hassled about getting or not getting a service there. The entire time they were always very up front with their findings and very honest. I had them do a transmission flush for me since my 4th gen is a pita to diy. Needless to say they fixed my issues without any problems. They were quick and completed the work without any unexpected issues. I do a lot of my own maintenance and fabrication but from now on I will use the Toy Doctor for any other issues I have problems with on my 4runner. Got a new battery, cleaned up corrosion and installed new terminals, got sold on a new radiator hose, had them fix automatic window/lock buttons on driver’s side door, new air filters and an oil change for $1,000. Feels pretty steep overall. Asked them to listen to motor upon cold start for squealing. They said they tightened the belts but I’m noticing squealing still occurs on cold start. Hoping to return to get it checked out again as this issue hasn’t been fixed.

Ben and the entire Toy Doctor staff performed outstanding repair work on our 1998 4Runner. Our car had a series of maintenance repairs performed including oil change, air filter replacement, radiator hose leakage repair, timing belt replacement including thermostat and water pump, rear axle seals replacement with drums resurfaced and new brake shoes, valve cover leak repair, and steering rack/pinion assembly component replacement. The car, being 25 years old runs great again and is extremely stable on the road with no steering wheel play. We have been using Toy Doctor for close to 10 years and have highly recommended their service to our friends. Great work, our car been highly reliable and now should run for yet another 25 years!!! They were constantly willing to help with working around my schedule for vehicle drop off and pick up, and even purchased me a Lyft back to my house so I could wait comfortably at home. They were incredibly understanding when it came to my finances and were willing to work with me to see what could be done now with the budget that I had. I highly recommend this establishment!
