I brought my new car in to The Auto Station today for its first oil change and am very happy with the service. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Prices seem reasonable for the quality of work provided. I liked that I was able to work on my laptop in their lobby while waiting for the service, which was completed promptly. Great experience.

I have had my oil changed not long ago and was happy with the service. I had my window regulator go out on me and asked if they do the replacements. I knew exactly what was wrong with it and instead of saying I don't know for sure or what other companies would say for you to spend more money they had listened and by the end of the day it was fixed. I had used duck tape and they cleaned it completely off my window as well as my door frame which I did not expect them to do. I will definitely be going here for any work to be done. I'm very pleased to have discovered Four Seasons Automotive. All repairs were professionally done with labor and parts reasonably priced. Repairs included replacing the left rear wheel seal, brakes -- disk and drum -- and replacing the thermostat. Additional repairs were needed later because the seal had been leaking so long that grease had penetrated into the left rear drum and would seep out when hot. These additional repairs were done under the guarantee on the first repair and I was only charged for parts. Dean is a real professional who is knowledgeable, knows his craft, and above all is honest about what needs to be repaired and how long it will take. The next time my nearly 30 year old 1993 Toyota pickup needs repairing, I will trust Four Seasons to do the job and stand behind it. Thumps way up to Dean and Four Seasons Automotive. I was trying to buy a car from a private party, and The Auto Station was able to fit me in to check it out mechanically right away when no one else had the time. They put it up on the rack and immediately noticed a major problem with the car and advised me not to purchase the car. They didn’t charge me a thing because they didn’t finish the inspection which I was grateful for. It’s nice to find an honest mechanic. They could’ve easily done the whole inspection and charged me, but they didn’t. I don’t use them as my normal mechanic just because they’re not close to my home, but if they were, I definitely would use them.

The only place to get your vehicles worked on! Our diesel truck was down and out. Josh, the mechanic, did an excellent job repairing it. We couldn’t be happier. Honestly, I am so glad I found this place! Initially went to them with a terrible noise that occurred when I would turn the wheel. They were quick to get me in and discovered the problem. Despite my warranty company not wanting to cover the issue (which they definitely should've), they advised me in my next steps and I thankfully was able to get it covered! Even though less than a month later the problem returned (ruh-roh), they were incredibly fast and kind in getting the issue looked at and fixed. Maybe my car just missed them? I'd definitely recommend this place, they're amazing. Eris was constantly communicative through each process and they really do take pride in their work. They earned this five-star review!

Rather than go headlong into a fix, they were up front and honest with me about the fix and the fact that they aren't sure about the variables to fixing the issue. So I took my truck in because it was making a grinding sound he told me it was because my bushings were almost gone they replaced all that in the upper and lower ball joints and checked because of the sound if it was stuck in four-wheel-drive or something to that sort. It’s still making the same god-awful sound but now it’s shaking when I get up to speed. The sound is driving me nuts . when I got my power steering done that went perfect this time not so lucky. Hopefully they can figure out what the issue is because I’m gonna have to take it back in.Other than that though their service is great they get done in a great amount of time.they honor there warranties too without any problems which is g eat!

I’m new to the city and came across this place on accident when my check engine light came on. Out of three places I went to before this, the auto station was the first to actually take a look and run a quick diagnostic before anything else. They didn’t push me to book an appointment, helped answer any of my questions and overall we’re very very nice. I hate when places treat me like I’m stupid or are obviously trying to take advantage of me, so this was a nice change. Highly recommend coming here as the people are just awesome (I think Kevin is the one that’s helped me all three times i’ve had to come in) and the work is cheaper than the shop I used to take it to before! They are upfront with you and keep you updated on issues that may come up and costs without you even having to asking, I could seriously rave about this place for hours. They also got all my repairs done within a day or two. Overall, just amazing and I will be continuing to go to them for all my car issues and basic maintenance.

My transmission oil pan had a steady drip on the Friday before labor day weekend. I had the parts to fix it, but couldn't get my Jeep to the shop until 12:30pm. But they said they could fit me in, and true to their word it was ready by closing. Excellent service, real professionals and a reasonable price. Will be going back for exhaust work. It's also clear that they would rather save you money on your repair than nickel and dime you - the staff is really on your side! Today I had just gotten my oil changed, but I’ve had other maintenance services done there as well. I plan on bringing my car back for new brakes and eventually new tires which they quoted out for me without me even having to ask. I was leaving the office in February and went to turn over my Toyota Avalon... nothing. I got a jump from a coworker, called The Auto Station, and drove straight over. It turned out to be the alternator, which was diagnosed before close of business! The front office staff was kind, professional, and courteous, giving me updates on the repairs and communicating my car's issues and recommendations for the best repair. Josh diagnosed the issue and had a new alternator in place on the very next day! The battery was also needing attention, so we opted to have a new one installed. My car now starts every time and is dependable. A++ service and at a great price. Thank you to The Auto Station and Josh for helping me get back to riding smoothly and safely on the roads.

The crew at The Auto Station is awesome (and they always have some cool dogs roaming around for free scratches). I told them what I wanted and what I thought was wrong with my car and they checked everything and told me exactly what I needed and nothing more. They were also willing to install an aftermarket lift kit for my Subaru (which a lot of shops won’t touch aftermarket parts). The car runs perfectly, drives perfectly and is in great shape for many more years to come. Take your car to The Auto Station, they’ll treat you and your car right.

This place might be best place to go for servicing. I’ve been going there for years. Definitely not that kind of shops who rips you off. For Bimmers: dealerships won’t use better wheel alignment equipment than theirs. Computerized equipment is the most accurate you could find. The equipment at the shop is Hunter’s, which is the same manufacture for BMW’s KDS wheel alignment machine. Don’t put too much thought on how high-end BMW dealership is. It’s all marketing.. and oil, too. Use synthetic. 0W30 for B58. They know it.

I could not recommend The Auto Station enough (especially if you drive a Japanese car). After putting a hole into my oil pan last week, I was in a bit of a bind. I called my local mechanic and they quoted me at 2 weeks before I'd be up and running (for a 1 hour job). Thankfully I remembered the days of old when The Auto Station (formerly Japanese Auto Specialists) was my go to mechanic. I called them up and they saw my car right away. Due to the parts shortage they told me worst case it would take about 5 days to get the oil pan from out of state. Aris (front desk) took the time to call around and located the part for me at the Infiniti dealership. Less than 24 hours later my car was fixed and up and running again. 2 weeks at Shop A or 24 hours here. Do yourself a favor!

I was very much in a bind when I brought my Honda into The Auto Station. They found the problem with my automatic transmission, clunking noise that turned out to be a bad engine mount and noticed that I was in need of a new drive belt. They made these repairs for me at an affordable price and working with my complex schedule due to surgery. In addition to the oil change, I wanted a full diagnostic. Both were reasonably priced. A recommendation was made for a particular issue but NO high pressure sales. *UPDATE* 2/19/21 The owner of this business really does care about making things right for his customers...that doesn't put $5K back in our pockets, but it does help the sting. Al has worked with us on the cost of additional repairs that have continued to unveil themselves...guess that's the curse of an old car. 1/12/21 This is the most dishonest mechanic I have ever experienced in my life. They've had our car for over a month. Our car is worth $2500 tops. They allowed the bill to climb to $4890 blaming us for approving the repairs... We aren’t mechanics. We were told the car was in pieces and they kept finding issues. What I expect from a professional is to say, “hey, this looks really bad. You may want to consider other options.” They just wanted to milk us for everything they could. Our bill climbed from $400, to $2500, to $4400..and beyond. Beware of this place. There are better mechanics who don’t do this to people.

The Auto Station is Awesome, my go to place forever more and such a Blessing!!! Being a widow of almost a year, the hot water heater was about the only thing that has gone right in the past 11 1/2 months. Ladies, please do not hesitate to call this place, everyone in there was so nice. I know they were slower than normal, I was so thankful how soon my vehicle was back. The fuel pump went out and I killed the battery... Oh yes I heard him growl from Heaven. Please call The Auto Station, only if you want it fixed right. Be Safe Be Blessed! Second visit, need to get vehicle inspection this year. Took it in and told him the concerns, and asked if they would just give it an overall checkup. When a problem would arise, I would get a phone call to find out what I wanted, all the way down to the timing chain. New breaks... Several pages of up grades, now look out mountain's here we come!!! Had to have the valve body in the transmission replaced in my wife’s Outback. The auto shop had it completed when they said it was going to be done. This shop is excellent with their communication with their customers. Hopefully the fix sticks...only had the car back for 2 hours. Drove it straight home from garage. Wife reported that there were no problems coming home. If there are future problems with this repair I’ll come back and change the star ⭐️ rating.

The Auto Station, formerly Japanese Specialists, have been taking care of my cars for over 10 years. That’s because they are the best. They always find the problem and they always fix it. If they don’t get it right the first time, they will make it right at no charge.Even my boyfriend who is a mechanic and not easily impressed by mechanics is impressed. I brought my jeep to the Auto Station for a few maintenance things; alignment/brakes/oil change and also to get my A/C serviced. Unfortunately, the compressor for my A/C needed to be replaced (and yes I got a second opinion) this is an expensive task to have done but Jamie was more than willing to give me options and work with me, so after some shopping around for comparative work I ultimately stayed with Auto Station because 1. Price- I was not able to find a price close to what Auto Station was offering for this type of work. 2. Professionalism- Staff was always courteous and wanting to help 3. Convenience- I was able to drop off my car early, get a ride to/from work and leave car all day. All the work done on my jeep was done with satisfactory skill and everything is running great! Having a mechanic that you feel comfortable and not like they are taking advantage of your pocket book or the fact that your a "female" was really great! I will definitely be taking my jeep here from now on!

As the owner of a janitorial service with over 130 accounts throughout Colorado we depend on our vehicles quite a bit. We started taking all of our vehicles to Japanese Auto Specialist about six months ago. The staff at Japanese is always professional and courteous. The service has been great and they have gone out of their way to make sure the experience is always a good one. What impresses me the most however is their honesty. On several occasions they have told us that repairs that we ordered were not needed and saved us quite a bit of money. Our offices are over in the Tech Center so their location is a little out of our way. Considering the cost of having your vehicles maintained these days, we are happy to drive the extra distance. I highly recommend this shop!

So a bunny rabbit decided to go to town on the wiring under my hood which caused quite some damage. After being quoted $3,000 from a dealership, which I knew was a ridiculous amount and $900 from another shop, I went to The Auto Station to get a quote. Not only did The Auto Station give me a quote of $300, they also fixed the problem in 1 day as opposed to the 8 days the other shops would need. And get this when I took my car to The Auto Station to get it fixed the bunny was still living under my hood. The guys at the shop flushed it out and chased the bunny away. NOW that is customer service! Since then I always take my car to The Auto Station. Excellent service! Fast, reasonably priced, trustworthy, and above all else super friendly staff. Also a well designed waiting area with a great assortment of beverages, comfy chairs and cute dogs to play with while you wait for your car to be serviced. I highly recommend this shop.

After going in for a full clutch replacement. The next day I got an engine light. Within minutes of my return they had diagnosed the issue. An hour later I was on my way and the engine was purring like she was supposed to. I was lucky to not need anything else replaced but luckier to have an honest tech repair his own minor mistake. These guys are awesome!! They have replaced multiple items on my car (front drive shaft, steering rack, brakes, rotors) and each time they have done an excellent job. I would HIGHLY recommend them to work on your car. Compared to a dealership, they are very reasonable priced with parts and of course labor rates. The Auto Station took excellent care of my GMC Sierra, I brought it to them in pretty poor shape and when I drove out my truck ran like it was brand new. They kept me informed on what the problem was and answered all my questions. Their staff is amazing, they were accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. When they gave me my estimate I asked if my truck could be done that same day because I was slightly stressed about needing it, they said that there was no guarantee but they would try. And I understand things take time and I wasn't really expecting it to be done that same day but within 3 hours they had called me and said my truck was ready. I have been using Auto Station even before Al Anderson bought the business from Randy Brown I have brought in a Buick, Subaru and the Trooper over 20 years. Auto Station has skilled experienced mechanics that know how to fix what needs fixing. They have done a great job on my 2000 Isusu Trooper which I bought new.. I reccommend Auto Station to anyone that has a mechanical problem. Their mechanics are efficient and only fix what is needed. They charge the going rate which is less than dealerships.

The new owner/managers Ryan and Al seem to offer the same great value with even better levels of service. Now besides just getting my car perfect every time I come in, it seems to be a warmer, happier place. They took the time to walk me out and show me exactly what they found on my car. They helped to educate me in a way that I felt like I was a little bit of a car expert and helped to prioritize what needed and didn't have to be done. I love, love, love this place!! These guys are the most honest mechanics I have ever met. The place I was getting my oil changed told me I needed new shocks and struts... I decided to get some other estimates for the work as it was not going to be cheap. Japanese Specialists was the lowest bid and then after they looked at it they said it did not need to be fixed immediately and we would just keep an eye on it periodically! How great is that!! And, I am glad I didn't fix it then because the car is starting to develop other major issues so it's actually time for a new car. If you're looking for an honest, fabulously friendly, fair and reasonably priced auto repair shop, this is the place.

Very nice and friendly customer facing staff with a clean and accommodating waiting area. I would not have a problem bringing a car here, especially a Japanese made one as the sign on the building says Japanese Specialists. However my experience as a diesel truck owner was poor. First, I only went there because my warranty company gave me four places to call and they were the only one that worked on engines, was still in business and not the dealer. They claimed to work with both the warranty company and the specific dealer all the time. They also said they were capable of diagnosing and completing the repair on a diesel truck. Turns out they merely bought the phone number of another shop that went out of business. Neither my warranty company nor dealer has a relationship with them. Worse, my truck sat there two full business days before they called for authorization of a paid diagnostic. I authorized that when I dropped off the truck! The next day, that paid diagnostic resulted in a claim of a failed head gasket, a 4 week timeline and a quote about $2k higher than the market rate. When I questioned that as knee jerk diagnosis since that is a common issue but didn't fit the symptoms I reported, they stuck to their head gasket claim. I asked if the specific test that determines between head gasket or EGR leak or both was performed, they merely said that they would also do the EGR if once the engine was opened it was found to be bad also. Luckily my warranty company had me take the truck to a diesel shop. Not only could they do a head gasket job in 4 to 5 days versus 4 weeks, they also diagnosed exactly what I told The Auto Station better fit the symptoms - bad fuel injectors and EGR. I'm sure these guys are good at cars, especially Japanese, but I would not recommend anyone take a truck, especially a diesel, to this shop.

These guys are the most honest automotive repair shop I have found in not only Colorado but Kansas as well. I have been using them for several years and I have always been a very happy customer. My most recent visit included having my tire replaced after a blow out on I-25. I was stranded and could not replace it with the spare due to some corrosion from the alloy rims, the shop owner personally came to my rescue and helped me get a spare on so that I could take it to the shop. It is nice to have that kind of care from an automotive establishment. How many "other" places would do that for you, let alone have the owner come out? I am forever indebted for their kindness and generosity. They quickly got me back on the road again which is also priceless as a mother of three I am always on the go!

I was having my air conditioning worked on my 2010 Honda CRV, which in the long run wasn't properly fixed. I had to keep bringing my car back. I was frustrated and wrote a bad review. The owner Al called us and apologized and said we will make it right. They gave me a rental and they dug deeper into problem and got it fixed. Since they had it l asked if they can fix the check engine light. They did. And more. I got a beautifully washed and cleaned car back. I feel like l have a brand new car. I own a 2013 Subaru Crosstrek and it has been the best car I have ever owned. It is a manual transmission and the clutch had been acting up and felt really stiff. I was driving to my parents house and the clutch blew out right when I pulled up the driveway. I needed my car back within one day since I had to go to work for the next four. They had my car towed to their shop and Dave replaced my clutch within the next afternoon and had it back to me at lightspeed!! The service at this shop is unmatched and in my opinion can never be rivaled. I recommend The Auto Station and their staff over any other shop. 5 stars and more!

I recently took my high mileage 2005 GMC Yukon to Japanese Specialists, the intent was to just have the oil changed and brakes checked. As a single woman I am always hesitant in taking my car anywhere, afraid that I will be told that I need repairs I really don’t need or charged an exorbitant amount. The reviews on this shop were high and I must say there is a reason. When I dropped off my car I met Ryan at the front desk he was very friendly. When he moved my truck to the service bay he noticed that my Air Bag light was on and asked if I wanted them to run a diagnostic test to see what the problem was. I informed them that I had that done at a dealership when I was thinking about trading the vehicle and was told it was the spring in the steering column and would be a $1500.00 fix. They changed my oil and Rick the Technician looked at my brakes. He took the time to explain in plain language it was time for new brakes. Just for their peace of mind (because it is not safe to drive your car with the air bag light on) they hooked up my truck and discovered it was a sensor on the front of my vehicle that had been damaged by hitting a bird. The fix on that…was less than $200.00. My oil change, new brakes and Air Bag sensor were fixed for MUCH less than what I was quoted for just the Air Bag at the dealership. They were very honest about the issues/problems regarding my car; Ryan and Rick are GREAT people who look out for your best interest. Japanese Specialists Auto Services is amazing! After terrible and dishonest service at other establishments, I brought my to them after the previous mechanics said that my car was unfixable and "just an old car". Not only was the brand-new front engine mount making a loud banging every time I turned the wheel, the car would always pull to the right, especially while driving on the highway, regardless of numerous alignment checks. Another local company tried to say the engine mounts needed replacing AGAIN, but Japanese Auto Services kept it overnight and completely fixed the "unfixable problem" for only $300 instead of $1000s!! They were courtesy, honest and good people! I highly recommend them!

First off, Jordan provided excellent customer service. I was looking for some performance upgrades as well as needing to complete some deferred maintenance, and even on the first phone call, he was knowledgeable about my car and options. Exchanged ~20 emails and calls with him over the course of scheduling my work and getting my parts in; Jordan was prompt and courteous throughout the process which was convoluted on my end because of scheduling conflicts. Once my car was at the shop, Tim (front desk/manager) and Josh (tech) took as much time as I needed to explain the work and make sure I was satisfied. 10/10 would bring my Hoonwagon here again.

I learned of them from AAA. They have done a excellent job (and even excellent is an understatement) on my Chevy Trailblazer Ext and 93 Mustang. I'm IMPRESSED by their work ethic and integrity. I had took my truck in for tail/brake lights and to replace the latch actuator. Shortly thereafter, I had startes having some issues. I was having to jump start my truck every morning. I had a parasitic drain. Josh, their auto electrician, and Jaime, worked diligently for days to figure out the issue. They were extremely patient with me, as there were times I had gotten frustrated, due to not understanding how electrical diagnostics worked. After days of testing and research, they figured out what the problem was. It was a programming issue...a programming issue. They reprogrammed the ECU, and all problems were solved! I'm sure they've each grown a gray hair or two! lol I HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Auto Station! If you want honest work and your car done the right way, take it to them!

On a trip from San Antonio the cab AC in our 1998 VW Eurovan/Rialta failed in Moab, Utah. Parts and VW mechanics are hard to find, so we headed for Denver. After a lot of searching found this place through Google. All reviews were good, so - we took the plunge. Not a cheap fix, but these guys inspired with their knowledge of the system and what was needed. One of them is an ex-VW dealer mechanic, knew all about Eurovans. Had to wait on parts to arrive from San Francisco, but when they finally did all the prep work had been done and they had us ready to go in a matter of hours and on-schedule. Close to 2000 miles later everything working fine, and had AC through the 100-degree Texas heat on the way home. These guys were straight-forward, honest (so far as I can tell), and put us in front of other work so we could continue our trip. Finding a mechanic when you're out of town is a scary proposition - I'd recommend this place to anyone in a similar situation. If I lived in Denver, these guys would be my only mechanic. UPDATE: 4/3/2019 - almost four years, another 50,000 miles, and our AC continues to work perfectly. I've read enough horror stories on our Rialta owner's forums to know that these are tricky systems, and there are lots of stories of repairs followed by quick failures. The fact that ours has held up well tells me that these guys knew what they were doing and did it right. AND ANOTHER UPDATE: 8/14/2019 - another breakdown in Denver! Bad connections on a complicated heat exchanger system on the RV. Losing coolant, limped in to town and arrived at the shop early Monday morning. They were able to find a pretty rare hose with no part number, and to get it fixed even though it’s too big to go on a lift. Back on the road again - wish these guys would move to San Antonio! They are great.

I found Japanese Specialists ~6 months ago because of a major electrical problem causing my speedometer to go out as well as a number of other electrical issues. Other places charged $300 min just for diagnosis. The places that didn't charge for diagnosis couldn't figure out what the problem was. JS finally found out the problem without charging anything for diagnosis. Great customer service & communication, patiently explain all of the reasons/systems behind the issue -- I didn't grow up learning a lot about cars but have recently been working on some of my own small repairs. Had a series of other unfortunate events just recently with head gaskets and break. They didn't catch an issue as well with transmission and when I took back, they were apologetic and generously discounted the transmission fix -- not something they broke, just didn't catch on last go around. As I'm getting ready to sell, Jordan at the front has gone above and beyond to provide me all the professional information and suggestions for listing. I would agree with review further below commenting a feeling of relief having found a reliable, trustworthy, one-stop-shop mechanic.

I would give a 4.5 if it was possible. the auto station was as expensive as any other place short of having a family or friend do it it's a bearable amount. however they offer a 3yr warenty & x amount of miles on their work which is pretty uncommon. The staff is professional friendly and willing to answer questions. I took my car in they fixed it in a timely fashion. Hesitant to call any experience where I pay that much(car was messed up really bad ) good but they were the best of a bad situation.

After my car’s axel broke, I had AAA tow it to this place, and it was the most reassuring experience I’ve ever had. As soon as I walked in, there was a beautiful dog named Moose for me to pet as well as two very professional, understanding employees for me to talk to. I knew the old owner since 1982, he was at the gas station at Federal and Hampden Service Road. The work has always been excellent and they have worked on a 280 XZ early 80's, 2 4x4 Toyota trucks, 2 Ford Probes, a Ford Ranger and much more for friends and neighbors. Avoid the crooks in one step, go there... November 2014, I have an older, 97, Ford Ranger and it has 236,000. It is a little gem of a truck. It was leaking oil from more than two areas, they had to trouble shoot the leak after initial visit. Another older issue, repaired by them was also found and a separate issue too. They defrayed my costs, generously, and even though my vehicle was in the hospital for days, they nailed the issues and the work was excellent. This vehicle will last til 300.000 miles with their help. Good Work at JSA.

Recently, I moved to Colorado from the Pacific Northwest. Because I have no history here, I don't have the kind of trial and error knowledge base that, over time, leads to having a list of "go to" businesses for the various day-to-day needs we all have. Then...BOOM...I needed to find a good shop to help with some complex problems on my older Toyota Highlander. I did my research on the internet, I read reviews...mostly, I did the informed consumer thing but, in the end, I had to close my eyes and throw a dart in order to choose a shop. And, I got lucky. In my experience, I found the staff of Japanese Specialists to be open, honest, engaging, accommodating, knowledgeable and skilled at their trade. They got my car up and running and there no surprises (although the type of job was one where any number of things could have been "discovered" or, quite frankly, made up in order to pad the work order). Bottom line: I have a first entry on a fresh list of "go to" businesses.
