Brought beloved '07 BMW in because my heater didn't seem to be getting very hot and to check the fluids. Doug and team spent an afternoon checking out and tuning some things, but found no other issues. Don't know what they did, but everything seems to be working better and they didn't charge me a thing! I've been bringing my car into Paddock for years since all available extended warranties ran out, and they've always provided reliable service at a fair price. I'm so grateful for Doug's time and having such a trustworthy and knowledgeable team of professionals to look after my car!

I slept in the parking lot when the Tow Truck dropped me and the car off last night to save some cash. (On my way back to SC) I woke up to find everyone already inside opening up for the day at 7am. First thing the owner (Doug) asked me after I explained what happened and what I’ve been through, “When is the last time you had a shower?” (2 days ago) So, I took a shower and by the time I got out of the shower and sat in the lobby they already found the problem and were starting to fix it!!!!! I cannot believe how great I’ve been treated!!! I really cannot believe how amazing I was, and am, and will always be treated by this great Family of Mechanics! Oh and when we first brought the car here it was a stock 330i ZHP with maybe 250HP Now Paddock has me around 350HP!!! More than just a Performance shop. 4/15/22

Doug and Dan were great to work with! This was my first time having work done at Paddock, having a Noelle tune loaded on my BMW M8. They had the tune done within 4 hours of dropping it off! My car was leaking coolant. They told me during inspection that it was leaking coolant and oil, so they replaced the lining. They also replaced my air conditioner and repaired my electric roof which wasn't opening. I was charged almost $2,000 dollars for this. So in conclusion, they resolved my issue which is good, but they are very very pricey. So is it worth it? That's subjective, it depends from person to person. Me personally, I appreciate their work, but next time I will consider going somewhere else. At some point something becomes "too expensive" and that point will be different for everyone. They do good service, but the wait time is long and the cost is scary high. I rank them a 5 out of 5 on their service, but a 3 out of 5 over all considering the wait and price. I left my car with them for about 3 weeks until they finished, that is a long wait.

We were 1,000 miles from home and Doug went out of his way to make time in their completely full schedule to ensure that our 2019 BMW X3 would be safe to drive 1,000 miles back home after a bizarre issue came up while on vacation. 5 Stars to Doug and Dan at Paddock Imports! My BMW X6 needed a new motor. Doug walked me through my options, told me what replacing the motor would entail and how much it would cost. When the work was completed the bill was LESS than what I had expected (thousands less than either of the two BMW dealerships in town quoted me) and it came with a two year unlimited mileage warranty from BMW! Dan helped find 4 used BMW rims and advised me as to which powder coating finish would look best on my car. He also scheduled a Noelle Performance tune and had the rims powder coated while my engine was being replaced to minimize the time my car was in the shop! My car now looks and runs the way I always wanted it to - I am very pleased with my experience at Paddock Imports! Louis Wyman

I have been coming to Paddock Imports for over 10 years and they have never failed to deliver. I highly recommend you go here especially if you have a BMW, Porsche or MB. Even though I lived 3 minutes from the BMW dealer I would drive across town to have them service my 2008 BMW 550i and here is why. I had noticed some leakage on my garage floor. At the time I was on a plane every week so I tended to procrastinate on things that didn’t seem a high priority when I was home even though this little spot on the garage floor tended to occupy a lot of headspace ( i.e. will I need a new engine, is my transmission about to go, etc.). I finally called Paddock to get an appointment and was booked out a little over a week. At this point the issue was front and center - I wanted to get this solved today! So I go over to the the BMW dealer and left my car there for them to diagnose the problem. This was convenient as it was only a 5 minute walk from my house. A couple hours later they call me back. I walk back over and see the service advisor (SA). He hands me the estimate (2 pages) which was just a little bit over $10K and said they could get to work on it asap. I briefly looked at the paperwork and noticed a few things that had already been done by Paddock. I told the SA I would think about it. I went back home and checked my file and did confirm that several of these fixes had already been done. I was a little fired up at first but then figured wait until Paddock has a look before going berserk. Doug and team looked at it…..$185!! Leak no more. My guess is that some will read this and think I must be a relative of Doug’s. I’m not and these number numbers are correct. Moral of the story- patience is a virtue. My impatience almost cost me $10K. German cars are expensive to maintain but they don’t have to be that expensive. Find a shop you trust. Paddock is that shop for me.

Our Mercedes wouldn’t start so we called AAA for jump. The AAA guy told us the battery tested bad and recommended I take it to Paddock. He mentioned it would probably be around 500 for parts and labor due to the odd battery type and location. Paddocked called after testing and told us the battery just needed a recharge. Total cost was <50.00 but they could have easily milked us for more. I can see why the AAA guy suggested them. Much more trustworthy than the dealer IMO

Honest and reliable service. I've taken my car to many of the brand name quick change service centers and always run into issues. Either greasy handprints are left on the interior of my roof.. or pieces of the cars under carriage are not securely replaced. Contacted them on a recommendation from my daughter and son-in-law in search of a company that could provide service on an Audi A6. My wife has always used the Audi dealership service department and I felt that some of their recommendations were not necessary. Contacted Joe with Paddock and told him what the dealer was saying about a fault on a secondary cooling fan. He got us right in for inspection and we ended up replacing not only the defective fan but also the primary cooling fan because the labor to replace both fans was the same as just replacing the one. Very happy with the service and knowledgeable staff.

Billy who runs the front desk, was so helpful in getting me in quickly and once there, having my car looked at immediately. Turns out my car was not fit to even be driven, so they kept it and did the repairs needed and I had it back within two days. These guys represent everything I look for in an independent BMW mechanic. The combination of knowledge, passion, and integrity mean so much to me when it comes to servicing my beloved vehicles. In this instance, I was purchasing a 2002 BMW 540i/6M across country, sight unseen. Luckily, a good friend of mine highly recommended Doug and team to do a pre-purchase inspection on the vehicle. Thankfully, I was working with a willingly compliant dealer in town, and Doug was able to diagnose and complete a number of critical repairs prior to my drive home at a very reasonable price. Took advantage of their pick up and drop off service available during this time of COVID restrictions. Excellent customer service from Joe on the phone, he was very honest and friendly. Doug personally came to get my car and returned it, very cool that the owner took the time to do that. My BMW X1 35i was due for an oil service, transmission fluid service, and I had a VSRF charge pipe which I wanted to have installed. Prices for parts and labor were on par or slightly lower than other independent shops which I have been to in the past. The quality of their work seems top notch. I really appreciate their attention to detail only using the highest quality fluids, and they have extensive knowledge of BMWs. Will certainly use them again for regular maintenance, as well as when I want to add more performance parts and one day a Dinan tune (shhhh don’t tell my wife!) Edit: Another recent 5 star experience: had a noticeable coolant leak, the Paddock Team quickly identified and fixed the issue (cracked coolant tank). A month later I got a low coolant warning light, Paddock checked it out at no charge to me, and confirmed that there was no leak, the warning light came on due to the extreme change in temperature here recently (approx 60 degrees in 24 hours). If my wife and I weren't looking to buy a house soon, I would absolutely have them do a Dinan or Noelle tune to my N55 engine...

We wouldn’t think of leaving our 2001 BMW 740 IL with anyone other than Paddock Imports. When we bought the car from Westco Imports in 2005, we were advised to take it to Paddock for “everything”. Paddock appreciates the fine quality of that particular year/model. Thru the years we have had perhaps three major repairs, all related to the age of the car. Doug, Billy and the other import specialists are extremely professional, proficient and great to work with. We always receive an estimate before they begin and the timeline and cost is always as they say it will be. Again, because of the age of the car, they will advise us to be mindful of certain things. The gentlemen in the shop were able to identify the problem and find a solution to get my car running again without unnecessary processes and procedures that would have cost me money. My problem was a very unique and specialized issue because my car has a lot of modified parts, and the ECU of my car is upgraded also. The team here was still able to fix the issue and get my car running well again. His quote was that there were "realistic" goals and "fantasy" goals regarding car improvement. I appreciated his candor. They could have done the work and just charged me, but since I was still covered under a warranty they advised me to have the dealer replace them for free. I called Paddock Imports to schedule a pre-purchase inspection on a 2011 BMW X5 3.5i in early April, 2016. After speaking to Doug for a few minutes about what type of issues are typical for this model year of an X5, Doug sounded like he operated a well experienced BMW repair shop that would provide me with a worthwhile pre-purchase inspection on this X5 that was being sold by a non-BMW used car dealership that is nearby Paddock Imports. Being unable to get under the vehicle without the benefit of a lift, I felt it was important for a well-experienced independent BMW shop to give me an honest assessment of what the condition of the X5 was before I committed to purchasing the vehicle. On 4/6/2016, the dealer dropped the X5 off at Paddock Imports to conduct the pre-purchase inspection on my behalf (while I was tied up with work meetings). That evening (4/6/2016) Shannon @ Paddock Imports provided me with the results of the pre-purchase inspection. Based on the report and phone discussion that I had with Shannon, it was communicated to me that the vehicle looked good and there were no identified areas of concern (aside from the hail damage that I was already well aware of and the front brakes & fluid change were needed), I decided to purchase the vehicle. After the purchase of the X5, it remained parked in my garage while the replacement hood (for the hail damaged hood) and servicing materials (oil & air filters) were procured, and then taken to an autobody shop for replacement & painting. After getting the X5 back from the body shop, I got the vehicle up on my own ramps to perform the oil change on it. Before I removed the oil pan drain plug, I noticed there appeared to be an oil leak. I called Doug @ Paddock, he had me bring the vehicle back and was very fair with me in getting the oil leak repaired. I cannot say enough about the professionalism Doug exhibited in all of my interactions with him, and clearly customer satisfaction is a priority at Paddock imports! I will be a repeat customer!

Paddock showed me today that they stand by their work. I had them install Bimmer-Tech cameras and Android Auto. There was a problem with the BT hardware and BT supplied replacement parts to help diagnose the problem. Even though Paddock is a Bronze installer for BT, BT wouldn't work with Paddock on the labor because they said the install was DIY. Paddock stepped up and reinstalled the wiring harness without charging me. I am disappointed in BT, but impressed by the way Paddock handled everything.
