Great service & friendly staff! I dropped my 2009 Honda Element for some air conditioning issues, picked it up blowing arctic air for a very reasonable price. I have used them previously for brakes & oil changes, and been very pleased with service and prices. I highly recommend old school automotive and feel they are very deserving of their best of 2022 award.

If there is something wrong with my vehicle after pickup they always fixes the issue without saying it’s something else and wants more money. Hands down THE best auto place around. The customer service can’t be beat. Got calls and messages after major services like brakes and tire replacement to make sure everything was working well and no issues! Since when have you had another auto place do that?! And they have a HUGE waiting room (you could fit like 3+ trucks in) with desks you can work from, area for kids, coffee, etc. It’s awesome to be able to wait and work at the same time. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

After countless researching trying to look for a good mechanic. I decided to go to Old School Automotive. I called to get a quote, which wasn’t in the best price range. But they do offer student discounts as well as other discounts. Ultimately, I did see that they won an award for being one of the best in Columbia. So I felt safe knowing I was going to be in good hands. I decided to check them out. Very professional and personal. You can tell they truly care. They replaced my CV axel at a decent price. They’re honest and will let you know if your car problems are really major, so you can drive away “worry free.” And they won’t charge you for unnecessary things. Which I liked because you don’t get that from other shops. Definitely recommend them!

I will absolutely be using Old School Automotive from here on out! Not only did they quickly have an appointment scheduled, the team at Old School completed the work in the same day! Between installing a window regulator, the A/C Blower motor, and a Purge Valve, I was bracing myself for the cost but it was extremely reasonable. They don't try to sell you on work you don't need and everyone I encountered in the office was extremely helpful and professional!

I took my 08 jeep srt8 to have long tube headers installed and to have a couple of things powder coated, the work and attention to detail was phenomenal and the finished product came out amazing. Communication at the beginning of my experience was sub par but once brought to attention Keith and Jessica were amazing and handled it in a very professional manner. In my opinion they are very honest and professional in the finished product they want rolling out their doors.

I had a tire blow out on the interstate and had my car towed to this shop. I had never used old school before, but they got me setup with a new tire and took care of some non-urgent routine maintenance at the same time, and my car was ready by 11am that morning after the blowout. Excellent service

Truck needed oil pump replaced. I called then took the truck in for assessment which had already been done previously by GMC dealership. Old School Automotive staff and owner were very courteous and helpful, and they got an assessment and estimate back to me in a reasonable timeframe. Details of why work and cost would be more difficult and higher than expected were explained satisfactorily. So far as I am aware, I am satisfied with the service I received. I usually do most of my own mechanic work on all my vehicles but theres been a few times i hadnt had the time to get things done so i chose old school as my number 1 spot to do all the things i dont have time for. So far, i have brought in 4 vehicles to them. They have always done what needed to be done and have been very fair with pricing and getting me and my wife taken care of every time. They also have a great waiting area thats very kid friendly. If i cant get time to fix my own stuff, this shop is the only shop i let work on my vehicles.

Took my 3500 Diesel in for tires and to have them look at the power steering pump that was just replaced by a diesel repair shop. Usually if you are not a diesel specific shop, you don't touch a diesel for any reason. Not Old School. They took it right in. Even though we said it needed a new pump, they looked at it and said nope the diesel shop just didn't tighten the hose to the pump. Honest, trustworthy, professional. This is Old School!!

I went to Old School Automotive for some simple exhaust work, and they did not disappoint. They were able to squeeze my appointment in same-day, we’re very quick, and the end result sounded great. The welds aren’t picture-perfect, but it is a job well done. They also gave me a free courtesy check on my front suspension because of a clicking sound they noticed. I told them I planned to do the work myself, but they still checked it out and diagnosed it for free. Great shop with great people!

I have been going to old school Automotives for over a yr now. I asked myself how did I not know about them sooner. These guys can do everything as a whole. The staff is very friendly, professional and knowledgeable, what I like is that if one person doesn't have the answer, they will go ask and come back as a group to help give you the best decision based on what issue you may have. They can service all cars, I mean literally all cars. From the beaters to exotics. They are a one stop shop all they need is tuning area and they will have everything on lock. I recommend these guys and there prices are fair and good quality work.

Absolutely legendary service… no joke. I asked around for a place to balance my lowered NC Miata because it was shaking a little bit above 80mph. I was recommended to go here and I went in basically saying fix my problem and I’ll pay whatever. They took my car in almost immediately and I sat in the waiting area. Like 30 minutes later they tell me the tires needed balancing and told me I was getting some extra vibration from the front right wheel hub assembly. They gave me a quote on the second but here’s the kicker. I went to pay them for the balance and they told me… no we don’t charge for basic balancing. There are very few times where I walk out of a place feeling like wth. Absolutely top notch. Felt like I was getting some friends of the family discount or something. Can’t recommend these guys enough.

Wheel was shaking on the highway pretty bad. Car was rattling and whistling when I turned the AC on. Took it to old school and they diagnosed and fixed both issues for a really good price. Two new tires and a belt. Drives brand new. Then they dropped the car off at my job. Will keep going there. 10/10.

Went to Old School Automotive on a recommendation. I was not at all disappointed! They were all very nice and courteous and my car runs like a champ. The struts on my 2014 Equus went out and the dealer quoted me $6,000 for the repair. You read it correctly SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS!! By the time everything was said and done I didn't even spend $1,000. I came in just for an oil change. I asked Chris to see about having my outback checked over since my daughter was traveling to Florence yesterday afternoon. He let me know that two rear wheel bearings needed to be replaced & since they needed to be replaced, this caused the two back tires to be worn. I told him to go ahead and replace bearings and tires. It’s definitely a good feeling to have peace of mind when my daughter was traveling & when I am too! I appreciate Chris having good customer service and the young lady at the front desk too!

What can I say, I am not surprised at all how well this automotive one stop shop is doing. I have been doing business with the Nuttall family for decades and this one stop shop looks like a reality show similar to Gas Monkey Garage or Overhauling!! It is simply amazing!!! One of the most attractive things about Old School Automotive is the way the facility is laid out. It is amazingly comfy and family oriented. I almost did not want to leave after they completed my service which was fast, explained extremely well, and very good on the pockets! We are new to the area and I was looking for a good auto repair shop. Based on reviews I reached out to Old School Automotive for an oil change and to fully inspect my car as I was planning an extended drive. I had the pleasure to speak with Randall. I was surprised to learn that the inspection revealed that my car had serious rust issues effecting the steering and suspension. Randall took his time to explain all of the issues and answer my questions. I truly appreciated his candor and honesty when he advised against the recommended repairs and suggested that the car was not safe to drive long distances. At the conclusion of our discussion it was clear to me that I could no longer safely drive my car and that I needed a new car. The Toyota dealership concurred that the vehicle was not safe to drive so I traded it in for a newer vehicle. Thank you Randal and Old School Automotive! Your honesty is so refreshing! We will definitely be bringing our other vehicles to Old School Automotive for service.

I was looking for a shop to fix the exhaust leak on my e92 M3. They were very professional and showed me exactly where the leaks on the exhaust were. They recommended I fix the big problem first which was near the headers. Although it did take longer than anticipated not once was I out of the loop or not noticed about delays due to parts. Understandable. My cars rattle due to the exhaust leaks are gone. Very professional shop and very reasonably priced. Will come back again.

This place is amazing and so compassionate. The underside of my van hit a trench in the road and knocked on of the covers off the bottom of the van. It was hanging off and being dragged. After looking this place up, I brought my van 15 min after my van got hit. They were able to immediately take it back and fix it for free. On any day this would be a very kind and generous thing, but for me today, after not being home all day, after taking care of my kids while my husband is deployed, after having to euthanize my dog, after driving 3 hours to drop family off at the airport, and after hardly eating all day,,, they really brought me back from the depths with their kindness. Thank yall so much. You never know what someone has gone through and you showed me a lot of compassion without even knowing about my day.

Old School helped get my AC system repaired and back in use, as well as repair my exhaust pipe and even checked my transmission, which I was surprised to learn was in excellent condition and will last for a handful of years to come, a far cry from what the Honda dealership told me before. Despite that the repairs got extended a couple extra days, Old School got my car fixed ASAP and at no extra cost.

Took my (old) car in to have the A/C recharged. They found that one of the hoses was leaking. Luckily I was able to have a replacement hose made locally - understand that this is a retrofit A/C and the hose would not be readily available. They did not charge me for this service. Once I had the new hose on hand I rescheduled and a few days later they had my A/C working again.

I went in due to an oil leak under my car. I didn’t know if the oil pan would require replacement. Keith(owner) Nuttall took care of me personally. He told me if a new plug couldn’t solve my issue, we would need to replace the oil pan. He completed my replacement of the most cost affective repair (oil plug) and changed my oil in the same time a regular oil change would require. He has quick and saved me a couple hundred dollars. I took my daughter's care here last week because she had been having some issues with a sound in her front brakes. originally we had been going to another automotive shop, and they replaced her brakes..but we still we're having issues. same noise. so I took it back three times...for them to try and figure out the issue..and they just kept replacing her brakes..and replaced her roters. After that I took it somewhere else to get a second opinion. and That place told me it was her Wheel hubs..and it was going to cost $1600 to replace! I didn't want to pay that..and we left. her car sat for months. luckily during this pandemic it didn't matter since she wasn't going anywhere. so early January, I made a post on my personal page about finding a mechanic to fix the "wheel hub"... because Im thinking it CANT cost $1600... and maybe someone can do it cheaper. but if not..I still wanted a Third opinion. a Friend of mine recommended Old School. Thier receptionist Taylor and I had been corresponding since January about bringing the car in. I'm a small business owner myself..so I was Just able to make time to go on last week. their mechanic Chris was so helpful and thourough! Have you ever been to a company and you just felt that that sincerity?? Well I immediately had a good vibe from Him and them as a company that they weren't going to try and "scam" me or upsale something I didn't need. Anyway, I told Chris what I was told...and after a thourough inspection..he was 100% sure that it wasn't the wheel hub at all!?!?. Wow. so he said he would drive it and then take everything thing apart to see what it Could be. Y'all! Chris went in and found the issue..which has something to do with the mechanics of the Brakes itself. he took everything apart and got to the root! I was so happy!!! and he saved me $1400!! We will be making them out new mechanic Service! we have 5 cars in our household and they have definitely won my trust!! I HIGHLY recommend this company! and so grateful for Taylor and Chris! thank you to my friend for the recommendation!!! my babygirl is now back on the road!

So i caused myself a major headache being a shade tree mocanic! Call Keith at Old School for a recuse! Instead of telling me to bring the vehicle down and then charging me to determine if he can even fix it! He advised me how he would handle it, as well as what options we had if I were to bring it in. By the way his method of handling it, will cost me a couple of hours of sweat and tears, but no $$$. But he wi gladly take it in if necessary and do what they can!
