I’ve never had bad service here. But they’ve taken customer service to a new level in the new location. Recently had to get 4 new tires on my wife’s BMW and I thought I needed shocks too. Jeremy was a huge help and said I only recommended an alignment, not new shocks. He saved me hundreds of dollars. Highly recommend these folks. They have guided me to the purchase of the best tires for my car and my driving needs with the best price. I have taken my car to them when I needed my tires inspected and they have always let me know when they truly need replacement or can be driven for additional miles before new tires are needed. I have referred them to all my family members and to good friends. Great people and a great family business. Family businesses provide a special level of service that is not found in large chain franchises/businesses.

Every time I go it’s an awesome service experience. I drive twice as far to support this business. I recently had a trip from SC to Montana and needed front suspension work that was identified on Tuesday and I was leaving Saturday! Cody worked tirelessly with my warranty company, got the parts in even before the company approved the repairs and got my truck back to me by COB Thursday! What a huge difference, it was like a new truck and made all the difference for the 5000 mile round trip. This service was above and beyond anything I expected. Also, just got my wife’s Jeep in for an oil change and I knew I had to replace a rear blinker bulb. When I picked up my Jeep, they told me they found the bulb was out and replaced it, no charge! Any dealer would never do that, they want to charge you for every little thing. I have several more examples but you get it. This is why I drive farther and spend my money to support this business. Jeremy and his crew are top notch and will take great care of you.

Always loved Nuttalls. Always do a great job but didn’t appreciate the attitude of front desk recently. Called ahead and ordered tires, was told they would be there at a certain time, gave a 30 minute grace period and when I arrived they seem to blame me when the tires weren’t there and thought I was insane when I politely asked how long it might take so that heaven forbid I try to coordinate the rest of my work day. Bunch of cranky people up front that treat customers like ghosts when they walk in. Move them to the back office or train them to at least wave.

Came in for oil change as a second visit, however due to a driver window that is not working properly I failed on this appointment to not remind the service technician please do not roll the window down there was extreme fear that I thought my first visit had that information in my files. But, because I enjoy this service and I feel safe with their abilities I will return for my next oil change, I will just need to inform them upon the release of my keys, my driver's window is broken, please don't let it down. Pray for the repair to the window!!!

They broke the studs on my tire for the 2nd time, said it was on too tight but they were the ones who put it on. I had to wait for them to order another and was told I would be done in an hour...called 2 hours later, noone ever advised the technician the studs were in so my vehicle was just sitting there. 3 hours later it was done.

Searched several local tire dealers and found that Nuttall Tire had my sizes, staggered sizes for a 2017 BMW X5. The automated price quote online was actually higher than the quoted price when I called. Having 315's and 275's on one vehicle won't cheap. But, changing from run flat Bridgestone's to Continental regular tires is a vast improvement in comfort and driving since Wednesday, the ride is soooo much better, cornering is precise and the Continental reputation for longevity is backed up by a $20 per tire 12,000 mile full replacement warranty. A competitor wanted $180 for a lifetime, but the X5 XDrive35i is rough on tires. So. I saved $150 going with Nuttall. Glad I did my research and yes, the new facility on Two Notch Road is fresh, roomy and the coffee, snack area is a welcome site. Thanks everyone for a pleasant tire buying experience. Family owned does mean something in today' marketplace!

These are the real tire guys! If you need big tires these are the guys to use. One of the few tire shops that have big tires and can service them. We were traveling thru this area pulling an enclosed trailer and pulled over for fuel when I noticed one trailer tire was flat due to a nail. We contacted Nuttall Tire at 4:35pm (they were closing at 5:00pm) and they told me to come right over so they could help. Seriously!!?? VERY nice, very professional and very comforting to know that someone actually cared about my problem and was willing to help. They were successful in patching the tire in short order and we were back on the road. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of service or tires. The location was huge, they had tires on hand for immediate replacement and all kinds of friendly employees. If I lived closer and being in the automobile business I would refer all of my customers to them without doubt and I'd take my own cars there as well. When it comes to locally owned places Nutall HANDS DOWN is the best. Fast friendly service. My wife owned a Mercedes. Goodyear told me to take car there for alignments. Purchase a set of hard to find tires for my mom. The price was reasonable. One time i thought my axel was busted. They Actually fixed it with no charge. I thought it was something hard but then I guess it was a simple fix. New location works great for me. Closer to my home. Best in town hands down.

We recently had a car that would not start even after buying a new battery. Having done business with Nuttals for years, we had the car towed there. I received a call from Nuttals telling me they couldn't do anything with the car until I bought a new battery so that they could start the car. I informed them the battery in the car was only two days old. They said the battery would not start the car so I would have to buy a new battery. I asked if they did not have a booster battery they could use. They said they did not. I went to Nuttals, jumped off the car and took it to another garage. The problem was diagnosed within minutes. I lost a lot of respect for Nuttals and will no longer be a customer of theirs. A few days after I published this negative review I was contacted by Steve Nuttall. He was concerned about my posting and wanted to get the details. I have to say my one bad experience with Nuttall's should not undo the many good experiences we have had with them over the years.. I appreciated the call to make things right from Steve. They are a good honest firm and we will be back.

I'll spare you the details but I had a very unusual hub/wheel issue on my classic Mercedes and not even the import specialty repair facilities would even try. Jeremy not only assured me he'd solve the issue, he took it as a personal challenge. Can't say enough about his passion to solve a problem. I wasn't in the market for tires at the time, but you'd better believe I wouldn't get them anywhere else now.

Friendly staff with nice facilities and very high quality of work. The alignment done on my vehicle is perfect and now my car drives much smoother than it did before. I’ve had inferior alignments done at other shops here you get your car back and your steering wheel isn’t even centered right, but this one was top notch. The prices are great as well, I would definitely come back. My one complaint would be wait time. I had an appointment at 8:30AM for a tire alignment and an oil change and waited in the waiting room for three full hours. Several people came and went while I was still sitting there waiting. Be prepared to drop off your car and come pick it back up later if you don’t have the time to wait all day

Wife came home with a soft tire, found a screw in the shoulder. Non repairable. Car is nine months old, I wanted to match the tire with the other three. I shopped around, went to four places including Nuttall's. I've used them several times. They had the best price for a matching tire for our vehicle AND the new tire was mounted and ready the same day. The three other franchise locations and my dealership were all more expensive with a 1-3 day wait. Nuttall's is a family owned business, every person I came in contact with there was more than helpful. There service is second to none in my opinion.

After calling 7 tire shops and 2 dealerships a dealership directed me to Nutall because I was having trouble finding a specific tire in town and needed one ASAP. I took my wife's car there to get new tires. It was a great experience, really friendly staff, and really good prices on their tires! I was really satisfied with their service, so when her car needed a tune up, I took it back. While they were still friendly, and even took my wife home while they worked on the car, I feel like I was ripped off in price. First, I just took it to get a tune up, left my wife there, and went to work. She called later and said that they needed a decision on something. Turns out they said it needed a new valve cover. I said to replace it since I knew the running rough could have been caused by that. Go to pick it up that evening, and they charged me $600 to replace it. First they said there was oil and each spark plug hole, and I found an old piece to one of the coils that is in the hole, that had no oil on it, so at least one hole was not leaking. They charged me for 3 hours of labor, when I could have done it myself in 1 or a little more. I also checked with my father in law who sold us the car, and he had replaced the valve cover 50k miles ago. All that to say, great tire service, but I don't trust them on mechanic work.

I've passed this place on my commute for 20 years and never really given it much thought. Since I was busy and couldn't drive at to the Toyota dealer where I get most service done, and since these guys were within walking distance, I called them up and asked if they could look at plugging a nail hole in my tire. They told me I didn't need an appointment and to just bring my car in. Even though they looked really busy and their parking lot was packed, I dropped my car off. They called me 3 hours later to tell me it was done. When I picked it up, they told me there was no charge at all for the plug repair. How can you get a better deal than that? I was planning to get new tires in the fall from the dealer or Sam's Club, but will definitely be going with Nuttall's for future purchases, and recommending them to anyone else.

Amazing service! I phoned prior to visiting to determine whether or not an appointment was required. Appointments were not required. My visit was due to a slow leak one of my tires. Upon my arrival, I was greeted and my car was assessed immediately. Within 20 minutes, I was in and out! Come to find out, I had a nail in my tire. They also did not charge me! This is by far the best Mechanic that I have been to. They are quick and very polite. They were also very helpful and when I didn’t understand something they explained it to me. What I liked best was that even when they knew I have very little knowledge on vehicles they didn’t try and trick me into other car repairs that were unnecessary. I asked for a brake inspection from them and 3 other places 2 places told me I needed new brakes the other 2 including Nuttall said they were fine and in great condition. So, overall I highly recommend this place. The only thing I didn’t like is that the front entrance is not obvious and there are multiple areas to enter from but no sign to say this is the entrance.

He immediately understood that I needed their help with finding a tire to replace my flat as the cut was in the sidewall. Fortunately for me, I had road hazard insurance. I boneheadedly popped a tire yesterday. Since I have an AWD vehicle, I assumed that meant I would need 4 new tires (that's what I'd been told by a dealer before). I went to Nuttall's this past Friday, due to being told by Honda that I had a bent rim. I originally went to Honda of Columbia to get a 4-wheel alignment, rotation, and balance performed. When they told me the work was completed, I noticed that the tires hadn't been rotated and the original weights were still on the rim. Driving to work, I could tell the alignment hadn't been performed as well. I thought it was just me. I got on Google, and searched "Best tire places in Columbia." Nuttall's was one of the hits. They promptly started on my car at 7:30, like they said they would. They actually brought me to the bay and showed me my bent rim. They put the new one on and put the old one in a box, with the face of the rim facing UP. Even though the life of that rim was practically over, they took precautions to keep it from getting scratched. That amazed me. As I sat and waited, they gave me constant updates on what was being done. They even used my name! One of the girls told me my car would be on the alignment rack at 8:30. Sure enough, my car was being parked on that rack at 8:31. That's what I call staying on track. The wait was pleasant. I conversed with one of the employees for a little bit. Everyone seemed really friendly. There was an older gentleman waiting there with me as well. One of the employees came over to give him an update on his car. The employee got down, eye level with that man to talk to him. That blew my mind. That was so respectful and courteous. Heck. Even the bathroom was spotless. I've NEVER seen a clean bathroom at a car shop before. As they stated, my car was done at 9 AM, like they said it would. Honda of Columbia in fact did NOT align my car. I was given a before and after printout, and was told there's NO way my car was aligned last week. My departure was filled with smiles and "have a good weekend!" I got in my car, and it drove like never before. The ride was so firm and straight. My car is NOW aligned and my wheels are NOW balanced. My experience there was wonderful. I told them I'd see them in 2,000 miles for my 37,000 mile maintenance. I'm done with Honda of Columbia.

In November I had my rotors and brake pads replaced on my 2014 Mazda. A little over 14K miles later a pulsation developed when braking. I took the car in and was told two things: 1. The rotors and pads all needed to be replaced. 2. It would of course all be covered by the warranty at no cost to me. Now, while it is clear something went wrong with the materials, that is not on Nutall. What is also clear is that they back their work with a rock solid guarantee and a commitment to customer service. Of course, I knew that already. That is why I have been going there for years. You should too.

I had a flat tire Saturday morning, Nov. 1, 2014 in Columbia, SC. Brand new set of Michelins installed 2 days before! I changed the tire. A friend who helped me change it suggested that I take it to Nuttall. They could not have been better! Despite having a number of people for whom they were servicing vehicles at the time, the Nuttall people got right on my problem. They detected the problem to be in the valve stem and fixed it. They checked the other tires and found another defective valve stem, which they fixed. They noticed a warning indicator for a burned out rear brake light and replaced that. All of this in about 30 minutes - and then they sent me on my way with no charge!!! These people are the best!!!

I have yet to explore quality auto establishments in this area, but I decided to take my car to nuttall because of the good reviews. I am SO glad I did. The staff was curtious and professional and quick. I explained that I had a tire that was possibly leaking. A nice gentleman took a look at my car. I waited for no more than 15- 20 minutes, when another nice gentleman came in and gave me my keys and told me they found the hole that had caused the leak and patched it up no charge and they had my car waiting for me to drive out of the shop. I was stunned and delighted by their professional services and kindess and I know that when I need to replace me back tires in the next year or so once they are worn down, I will definitely come here! thanks!

Shortly, I got a call that I needed brake pads, etc. All this came to over $1k. It was tough to swallow. But, the real corker was when I went to pay. The young lady told me the amount, ran the card and just gave me my keys. Call me old fashion, but I would think that after forking out over $1k, I could get a smile or “thanks for doing business with us”. She did this to the two people that paid previous to me settling, also. Makes me seriously think about ever going back again. Sad
