On this busy holiday I was turned away from another business and told that the wait for others was 1 hour. Isaac was prompt in answering the phone and I wasn’t placed on hold. After being told of a 20 minute wait (the shortest of all places called) I was surprisingly immediately seen and welcomed by Chris Hammond. The team did a great job in a quick amount of time at a great rate and in a relaxed environment (allowing me to listen to their music while I waited)… Thanks for making something as mundane as an oil change a great experience!!!

Express Oil change was AMAZING! Today my daughter's skid plate in her Honda Civic started dragging on her way to work and she couldnt drive without it sparking. The amazing crew at Express got her in and out in less than an hour on a Saturday morning without any appointment, when every other place around that she pulled into with the plate clearly dragging told her that they didn't have any time to even look at her car today. Express crew got her fixed and back on the road telling her all that mattered was her safety! As a mother that was just amazing to me. Express Oil change on Garners Ferry will have our business forever! Wonderful to know there are businesses like this still out there who truly are caring about customers!

Went to Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers Columbia SC location on Garners Ferry this morning for an oil change and I just have to say I am sooooo pleased with my service! As a woman anytime I take my car for service I’m almost always taken advantage of. However, this morning all of the guys went above and beyond to service my truck only for what was indeed necessary! I was able to get all of my Concerns handled and for a fair price! I don’t feel like I was lied to or overcharged! Chris the manager and Damian the Asst. Manager we’re so helpful and kind! ☺️

They are present and attentive and today even solved a mystery electrical headlight issue with a restoration too! He not only got my oil change done, but he checked the level of my other fluids and topped them off if needed. He also checked and replaced my air filter. First time here and I imagine I’ll come here for every oil change in the future. I’ve done other places for oil-change-while-you-wait, and I always feel like I pay more for a shabbier job, but my go-to car place means dropping the car off for hours. Totally opposite experience here. Everyone I interacted with seemed very knowledgeable and easy to speak to. I was in and out fast, but the work was thorough. They’ll be my first stop for anything with the car going forward, and if I could schedule it to work with my tech, Tahj, again in the future, I’d do that as well.

I had a leak coming from the the oil plug, so I brought a new plug and the Store manager Chris Hammond was glad to help get it swapped out. He inspected for other leaks, gave me cleaning recommendations, changed my plug for free, topped my oil off and ensured my oil level were good before I left. They always have great service and they do what they can to get you back in good standings on the road. I would recommend this store.

The oil change itself was alright, it was done quickly and the price was fair. I'm only giving three stars because the way this place is laid out means if they are busy there is no safe or easy way to park, you just sit in your car wherever you pulled in. I was sat waiting right by the street for about 20 minutes, and several other people left when it was clear that they would have to block busy traffic just for a place in line. Then, once I got close to my turn I was asked to change bays no less than three times, each involving weaving backwards around other cars. As I said, the service was fine, but the headache to get there means I will probably go somewhere else next time.

They change oil while you stay in the car (underground bay below car); new experience for me. Very polite & courteous workers. Went here after being turned away from Walmart w/1 person before me. Think I'll be returning. Tech was so sweet I tipped him; that was a 1st. *8/31/22 stick to the oil changes. My car hasn't driven right since they supposedly rotated & balanced the tires.

The employees in the Tire/brake department were so helpful, got my tire fixed up and on the road just as they were about to close for the day. I stopped at express for an oil change today. Mack, the technician who serviced my car was excellent! He was friendly and professional. My oil change was very quick. My air filter needed replacing as well, but they did not have it in stock so they offered to order one. They originally told me about an hours wait. I agreed. The air filter arrived and was installed in half that! Will definitely return to do business with this establishment. Thanks! Side note: while my technician was awesome and professional, there were two other technicians in the next bay having a very loud personal conversation and were dropping a lot of profanity which I didn’t find professional. I was grateful my kids weren’t with me.

My wife and I had an issue with our prior oil change. Which the change oil light kempt coming on. We went to this location to discuss our concerns, and the Manager James Mack helped us out alot. I must admit I was a little aggressive. But he helped out with our issue with polite and happy to help energy. He even considered training his staff with recommended up training to avoid any second return resolutions. Overall had a great experience at Garner Ferry location. I tell you I had the most beautiful wonderful experience at Express oil change on garners ferry road I took my car to a car dealer where I got my car from they told me they could not do my oil change because they could not get the cap off for a little behold I brought my car to express oil and they got the cap off and I got a perfect oil change customer service was fantastic awesome great I can just go on and on and on but the bottom line is they did with the dealer could not do so bring your car to express oil change on garners ferry road and you will not regret it I just want to thank Chris Hammond what an awesome great fantastic job you've done thank you also the dealer wanted me to buy a part for them to do my oil change but praise God Chris Hammond at Express oil on garners ferry road Made the impossible possible

This was the best experience with an oil change I've ever had, and I will never go anywhere else again! The oil change itself was so quick that I didn't even have to get out of my car. The assistant manager Chris was great and assisted throughout the whole process. While I waited they cleaned the windshield and replaced my wipers. And just before you go, they run a "safety check" to check all of your lights. If you are looking for a quick, easy, painless oil change, I highly recommend this place.

Diagnosed a damaged fuel injector after taking the car to Midlands VW Service Center. Took a video to show us the damage (which revealed fuel spraying each time we tried to start the car) and only charged us half of the originally quoted inspection cost. Convenient to home and work. For oil changes, you are able to sit in the car while the oil change takes place. Staff are attentive and give great customer service. Tire rotations and other services are done in the back building. Staff are great and prices are comparable. Definitely recommend them!

James Mack was great today. I came in for a quick oil change and he let me know that if I wanted the max life of my tires then I should rotate them while I'm here, I usually don't get more services then what I ask for but he made me feel great about getting my tires rotated.

First, I would like to start by saying I enjoy doing business with Express Oil Change. But I waited over an hour in line during non-rush hour on a Monday at this particular location. Then it took an additional 20 minutes when they advertise a 10-minutes oil change. There were only 2 out of four bays open. So, I guess they were short-staffed? However, I went early Saturday morning for another vehicle, a few days before, and was in and out, in no time and it was LESS staff. It may be a while before I return to this location.

We have never used this place before. Our regular place closed and I was just not too sure where to go. This came up and since a location is near us and the reviews were good we tried it. They were busy. But we were greeted promptly and instructed to a line and given an estimate of the wait time. We waited in the vehicle and when it was our turn we were allowed to stay in the vehicle. They performed a full inspection, did the oil change, and we were on our way. Overall, it was a positive experience. Would recommend.

Hey so I've never taken my vehicles to a quick oil change service,because I am a mechanic by trade. But as I get older I find it a little bit more challenging to service my own vehicles. So yesterday I was cautious about taking my vehicle here. Well to my surprise my truck was serviced by three employees who went over and beyond. My 2019 F150 needed a special oil plug that they didn't have on hand, but didn't stop until they found one. I had a buzzing sound in my car while I was driving, and the mechanics at Team 1 told me I had problems with both front wheel bearings, with an estimate of $1800 to fix, and that it would take at least a day. This seem incredibly high, so I decided to get a second opinion at Express Oil, where I have had a lot of luck in the past. They told me that $1800 would be reasonable if they were replacing ALL wheel bearings. After performing a test drive, however, they informed me that the front bearings were fine - it was a bearing on the back tire that was bad, and they could replace it for $300. I happily agreed, and my car now sounds great. These guys offer great service, and are honest. I cannot recommend them enough.

I once lived on Garners Ferry but moved 20 miles away. The service at this Oil Express Exchange on Garners Ferry is so amazing that I drive 20 miles to have my oil changed and my car serviced. Let me tell you why. All the mechanics are awesome and professional, but Diarre was my mechanic for the day and I cant say enough positive things about him except he's fantastic. He kept me informed about what was being done to the car, each step of the way. Very professional, kind, and courteous. Kenny (store manager) goes over and beyond the call of duty. I am a senior citizen and I needed tires on my car that day. I would've had to wait and comeback another day to get the size I needed for my car but Kenny said "No way will I have her come back another day, I'll go and pick the tires up myself." It really touched my heart that he was so considerate and kind. Ron the service manager is so patient and kind no matter how many times you interrupt him for petty little things, he always stops what he is doing and answers you calmly with a smile. So if there was more stars that I could give them, they would have them all! So PLEASE go by and visit them and you will see that sign that they display "Trust, honest, respect..." is truly who they are.

Chris has helped me tremendously at my visit today. Tuesday, when I got there, he was very great at coming up with a solution that would be of help when it came to needing a very specific oil in a bottle. He determined based on the truck shipment that Thursday would be the best day to come and they'll be ready for my return, and it certainly went that way! The truck didnt come in at the particulae (not the fault of the company by any means. I arrived pretty early than most truck deliveries), but, we came up with a compromise solution, in which I got exceptional customer service in. The company even replaced my bad cap underneath with a newer one. Overall, I am very pleased with this company and the exceptional service Chris specifically provided (as well as the guy who also worked underneath the car and was working very hard to get the cap off). Certainly couldn't reconmend this location enough!

Outstanding service! My two front tires were completely torn apart. I had called everywhere for a price quote. The cheapest tires plus instillation was $260! They were last place I called and quoted me $175. They took me in immediately and was greeted by Clinton when I arrived. Their driver was out so Clinton went out of his way to pick them up himself so I didn't have to wait. While he was gone they pulled my car in to the garage and started the job. On Monday night I got a instantaneous flat tire on Garner's Ferry Rd. beside the old Title Max and Taboo. I pulled in to the parking lot behind Express Oil Change where I was immediately met by two of their employees (Brian the Manager and Jefferson). The first thing they asked was whether I was ok. They said they had heard what happened from their shop and followed up by asking if I had a spare. Brian continued to help me change my tire and advised me on a few safety precautions (i.e. don't drive over 40/45 mph ). I really don't know what I would have done without their assistance. This was by far one of the most pleasant experiences getting an oil change. I felt taken care of and not taken advantage of. It was quick and efficient. I wish I got all of their names. I will be back.

I wanted to give a BIG THANK YOU to DR and KENNY!! I had been to 6 mechanics and I had been told by all that my air compressor was gone out .. All them robbed me blind charging me 50-100.00 everytime to tell me that its not working.. On Thursday I went to Express and asked for some assistance DR came to the car very polite and said ma'am you're in good hands.. Mr . KENNY came to me car got on the ground and in 30 seconds said MA'AM you don't have a A/C belt on your car. An assured me that if I brought my car in the next day it was no guarantee I would have air but he was sure that was the problem. I got there today Friday this a.m. at 730 and those guys where there just like they assured me with no wait MR.KENNY made sure I had a ride to work and DR came and pulled my car in and said he will call me at 9:30 it will be ready.. He called me at 9:18 and told me my a/c was blowing cool and I was ready to go... THE PRICE WAS UNBELIEVEABLE!!! (VERY INEXPENSIVE)!! Ladies I recommend you go here these guys are not in the business to BEAT women out of there MONEY they are very kind and will not do anything to youe car without asking you first!! THANKS KENNY AND DR!!
