I would not recommend this particular Champions unless it is for something simple. I brought my car in for repair after a passenger side accident. For the most part, they did a good job on what should have been easy. When I picked up my car about 1.5 weeks after drop off, I realized that there were some clips/cover missing from my car, the paint on the bumper was overlapping on textured plastic, and my doors were misaligned. They needed to order the missing cover so it took about 3+ weeks for that to arrive. Regarding my bumper, I was told it came pre-taped from the manufacturer but it is a brand new bumper and they did not double check the tape before they painted it. You would think that if the bumper is brand new it would be painted to look like it was brand new. When I dropped off my car for the 2nd time, I was offered a loaner car and had to ask for one which I was told that there were none available despite it not being my fault that I had to bring my car back. I had walked about half a block away before they called me to come back because luckily someone brought back a loaner. Fast forward to a little over a week later and I go to pick up my car. My doors were less misaligned but still off and the paint on the bumper was still unacceptable. I've accepted if this is the best the shop can do, I cannot be inconvenienced for any longer to get back bad work. I decided to post this review for those with newer cars like mine. If you get in to an accident or need repair work done, look to a different shop or different Crash Champions.

I inconveniently wrecked my car during my first week at a new job. Crash Champions on Division are truly champions in how seamless they were for me to work with and have my car fixed. The staff at Crash Champions, especially Jennifer, went above and beyond for me to get my car back ASAP in coordination with a hectic new work schedule. No one wants to bring their car here but when you have to, I’m glad Crash Champions was nearby. They assigned me a staff (Veronica) to work with me; she was funny, communicative and professional. She called with updates and kept me informed during the repairs. They also set up some automatic texting with updates, so you never feel like you’re in the dark about what’s going on. The building itself is huge, with high ceilings and looks like a nice dealership. The repairs look great and I could tell my car had just been washed when I received it. If I never need to go back, I will be choosing Crash Champions again.

Excellent facility, top quality work, friendly staff and reasonable price!!! Someone keyed my car and I chose Wizard Werks to get it fixed based on numerous positive customer reviews. Freddy gave me a fair estimate and was very informative throughout the inspection process. Not only did they fix the key marks but also took care of small paint chips on other areas of the car without me having mentioned anything. The car was handed to me in perfectly clean condition and and to my surprise was also waxed. I will definitely recommend them and am more than likely to visit them in the future. P.S. I did not get a chance to take any pictures at the workshop.

I went to Crash Champions a week ago. I had previously gotten work done at the last body shop that was there, years ago Wizard Werks. My bumper was loosening up a little years after the work. Kevin was amazing and decided to take a look at it, even though they are not the company who did the original body work. He took my car for 10-15 minutes and was able to tighten some fasteners and solve my problem! Thank you so much for Kevin’s kindness and going out of his way to help me! I needed a quick turnaround on both of my bumpers that were scuffed up over the years from parallel parking in the city. I opted not to use insurance (I've have been screwed in the past for not using insurance) so I was very vigilant about who and how I selected. I read plenty of good reviews on Yelp and Google and they held up more than I thought they would. With help from Veronica, I was able to confirm and lock in my repair price before the service and received the car with two completely repaired bumpers within 3 days. I was very impressed with the turnaround time, overall quality of work and affordability of my experience and highly recommend

What does a customer need when they have issue(s) with their car? 1- Someone who knows what they are doing 2- Transparency 3- Convenience What does a car need when it has issues? 1- A one stop shop that knows everything. I work in a team environment and frequently give and seek feedback as a leader. Wizard Werks has amazing body associates, experienced mechanics and a customer focused attitude where they have met and exceeded my expectations. They are transparent with their work and can show their clients the issues with the vehicle and work FOR and WITH the customer. There are others competitors in the market but their competitive advantage is their quality, attention to detail and experience in the luxury car market space as well as all other manufacturers. Was involved in a minor car accident in December 2020. After many great reviews for this establishment, I made a call and requested an appointment. They finished the job sooner than expected and the work was perfect! My car looked brand new. The staff here is also incredibly kind. I made sure to tell my family about my great experience with this repair shop. And, should any other problems come up with my vehicle, I will no doubt return to Crash Champions Collision Repair. Attentive team and timely service. Kevin kept me very informed and delivered the job 2 days earlier than committed. Overall good quality. Some minor rework / buffing will be required to remove orange peel effect on a blended quarter panel after the clear coat cures in 30-60 days. Kevin said they will stand behind the rework. Better if it was ideal initially, however I wouldn’t hesitate being a return customer. Good customer service.

I've had my car at Wizard Werks 3 times so far and the service has been extremely professional and smooth. The staff is VERY knowledgeable and friendly. My car has some quirks since it's 11yrs old but the team at Wizard Werks does a great job identifying its problems (when others can't), communicating the issues and getting confirmation from me before proceeding, and then getting the job done well (don't have to come back repeatedly nor do I have trouble understanding what's going on). I'm extremely happy with my experiences and I highly highly recommend the business for luxury vehicles (I drive a 2008 Audi Q7).

Whenever you take your car in for repairs, you wish for the best possible experience-- This was it! EXCELLENT! Love this place!! One of my business partners swore by Wizard Werks for his Mercedes and he introduced me to them. So when my BMW needed work I took it there and have been going ever since. Love Karim, Josh and all the staff. They communicate well, are honest and do great work. They are always willing to help me understand car stuff I don't know. They are very personable and truly understand customer service and that the customer is important! I have never had a problem with any of the repairs they have done for me and they even made a recommendation to SAVE me money on repairs and I truly appreciate that! This is a family business that is obviously doing it right because they are about to expand to a space more than double the size of their current location! As long as I'm in Chicago Wizard Werks has my business. Oh and I forgot to say that my husband takes his Hummer there too. I was referred to Wizard Works by my insurance company for body work needed on my Toyota RAV4 and I was impressed by their attention to quality customer service from the moment I walked in the door. Their staff is welcoming and friendly and they have a good relationship with the nearby enterprise car rental that made my overall experience more seamless. Not only was my car repaired in less time than I expected, it was also washed and waiting for me when I arrived. I had a run in with a parking lot bumper, a shoving match, the parking lot bumper won😢 I have a close friend who has been a frequent customer at Wizard Werks; she has always raved about the service, the quality of workmanship, and all the people involved. She was so correct! From my first telephone call to them, WizardWerks took care of everything. I’m from the suburbs, was a little concerned about having my car towed to their shop on Division, but it was very easily done. The tow truck driver couldn’t have been nicer or more polite, he knew that I was entrusting my ”baby”with him. Jessica (in the office) was great, always helpful and extremely pleasant. I have a 2012 VW GTI with special tires that aren't easily serviced at some other locations. Wizard Werks consistently does an amazing job with my repairs-- just recently I had a flat and instead of trying to sell me new tires, the mechanics patched my tire and saved me around $120. I deeply appreciate the mechanics and technicians do not try to oversell me on services I don't need. Their staff is friendly and I feel like a valued customer. I can't imagine going to another shop-- as long as I'm in Chicago, I'm their customer!

I recently went to Wizard Werks to have the front suspension on my Porsche 911 Carrera S rebuilt with new dampers and top mounts. I worked with Derek, and he was great at working with me to find the exact parts I wanted at a good price point, and was totally cool with giving me about 4 different quote iterations. They finished the work in one day, and the results have been excellent - the car handles like it's brand new, and the price was reasonable for the amount of work. I wish I had done it a long time ago.

I've been going to Wizard Werks for a few years now with my Audi A3. They are a super pro shop. The entire staff is super friendly, every single person will make a point to say hello when you step in the door. They always communicate diagnostics in a way that feels informative and transparent and the work is quality. I stopped going to the Audi dealership mechanics when they started hounding me to buy a new car every time I came in for simple maintenance. I've called Wizard Werks same day on a couple of occasions and they bend over backwards to accommodate. As long as I'm in Chicago, Wizard Werks will be my go to for mechanical needs.

Excellent service! Highly Recommended! I took my 2014 Ford Mustang GT there to get an impossible door dent to be repaired. Not only they did a fantastic job, they did it far cheaper than anywhere else I got quotes from. I worked with Freddie and you know you're in the right hands when everyone is a car lover and cares about your car as much as you do. He spent time discussing the process with me, he did it super fast and didn't rush me out of the shop. I first took my car to Mobil One in Mundelein, only to leave with no diagnosis or fix, and an $800 labor burn. Wizard Werks diagnosed my car almost immediately, and nailed the fix first try. The service writer, Sean, even stayed an hour late for me to be able to drop off the parts. They were friendly and communicative through the whole process. Smoothest, easiest auto service experience I've had yet.

A tree fell on my car and completely destroyed the roof and windshield. Unfortunately, when I was 23 and signed up for car insurance, I didn't include comprehensive insurance so I knew this fix would be expensive and lengthy. I reached out to multiple repair centers and most centers quoted me $5000+. With a car that is 10 years old, it wasn't worth spending $5k. However, Veronica from Crash Champions worked with me and quoted me a VERY fair price and was super helpful throughout the process. Veronica is very personable and she made my situation much less stressful. Veronica was great but so were the entire Crash Champions team! The receptionist is super sweet and the mechanic who assisted me is awesome! I highly recommend and will definitely use them again. Oh and GET COMPREHENSIVE!!! Oy what a mistake!

I recently took my '90 BMW 325i to perform maintenance and few upgrades. The entire staff is amazing and extremely accommodating. They truly care about you and your investment. My mechanic is Darek and he is beyond amazing. He listens to the customer and provides options and solutions when it comes to fix your car. He is always attentive, and respectful. Wizard Werks is fantastic! My car was hit by a truck and the left side was in rough shape. Freddy was able to fix the car in 2 weeks and it actually looks better than when I bought it. There was also some damage on the back glass from something that leaked in my garage and he buffed that out free of charge. Phenomenal customer service and communication throughout the process! Took my Mazda 3 for a left rear quarter panel dent repair and Wizard Werks did an excellent job restoring the vehicle! They washed and cleaned both the exterior and interior for no charge. Excellent customer service, Josh gave a very reasonable estimate that was much less than other shops, the work was done on time, and they were a pleasure to work with! Highly recommended. Ps: my car was probably the cheapest car in their garage...it's a certified German service facility--but in no way did I get treated like the "cheapest customer".

It doesn't usually feel good to drop thousands on repairs, and I expected to leave feeling a little bummed out. A trustworhy and capable mechanic is worth his weight in gold. Karim and his staff are, without question -- the best in Chicago. (If you are reading this, you know how difficult it is to find a good mechanic.) Karim is ALWAYS fair and honest and he stands behind his service. I have been going to Wizard Werks for over five years now, first with a 1998 BMW 528i that looked and ran SHOWROOM NEW even after 16 years. In fact, Karim bought it from me and gave it to his father when I decided to get a new car because he knew my car was in excellent condition and would be for years to come. I have used Wizard Werks for mechanical work, body work and detailing. One time when I brought the BMW in for major maintenance, they accidentally damaged the radiator. They replaced it at no cost to me and without incident. Although my new car is currently under warranty, I continue to go to Karim for any work such as installing winter tires and detailing. I don't understand the negative reviews on this site; what I do notice is that Karim reads these reviews and provides a thoughtful and thorough response to each one.. This tells me that he is extremely conscientious about the quality of his work. So, if you are looking for someone you can trust your car to -- Wizard Werks is the place to go in Chicago.

I recently moved to Chicago from Toronto and it was hard for me to find a garage that I could trust with my car. I'm used to going to the same person for all my car needs so it was a hard task. The guys at Wizard Werks were awesome. They explained what was wrong, what could be done, what needed to be done, and what my options were. They were also not invasive or pushy, more so acted like consultants. And of course, the work they did on my car was great and is still great and working just fine (had transmission issues). I can't comment on the cost of things as I'm not sure what the norm is in the area, but I can tell you its similar to what I was used to paying. Highly recommend these guys. They'll take good care of you and your car.

This is my second time using Wizard Werks for repairs to my SUV, and the second time I've been extremely happy with the results. First time was to repair damage to the tailgate where it had to be sanded, painted, blended, all of the things I have no idea how it works, but they did it and looked perfect. Most recently, someone rear-ended me, the bumper buckled and cracked, and there was significant damage behind the bumper. Luis helped me work with the insurance company (which wasn't easy this time) and he had my car turned around in just about 48 hours. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff, very accommodating on scheduling. Worked on my car and found out needed a new radiator. Were able to do it all on the same day without prior notice. Great staff. My questions were answered honestly and in a timely manner. The responses were also in a manner that didn't make me feel belittled if my terminology was not exactly what it should be. The work was excellent, as it was cleanup from a previous shops poor work. The rate was acceptable, as it cut overall costs by 25% from the previous shop's high estimate and poor reassembly, when we choose not to get the work done there. Defintely take your vehicle to Wizard Werks, they will take care of you.

Quite literally I look forward to getting my car repaired because I always walk out of here in a good mood. Just as importantly the work they do is top of the line. I would not trust anyone else in the city but the manufacturer dealership ONLY if they are under manufactur warranty. Once your out of warranty, a place like Wizard Werks is AMAZING. I was planning to take my car into an auto repair shop on the far north side to have some very serious rust problems with my 2001 MB S430 resolved. In the meantime, windshield solvent began leaking out as fast as I filled up the reservoir. For the past 13 years, I blindly had my Benz dealer handle 100% of my repairs and maintenance. Knowing that I would have to leave my car overnight at the dealer and pay dearly for what I felt would be a rather minor repair, I googled "auto repair shops" in my neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised to find a shop a couple of miles away. As I always do, I read the reviews before making the decision to take it in for repair. I was blown away by the number of five-star ratings and the complimentary comments about the owner, Karim, his staff, the quality of their work, and the highly reasonable pricing. When I took my car into Wizard Werks, I asked one of the lead employees, Josh, about the possibility of having my rust problem worked on. They would have to disassemble the doors in order to see the extent of the rusting, which turned out to be beyond repair - all four doors needed to be replaced. This was the suggestion that the Benz dealer, from which I bought the car new, had given to me when I first reported the rusting out of the base of all doors about eight years ago. Josh was very professional, and gave me an very reasonable estimate, approximately one-half the price quoted by the dealer's service center 8 years ago. In addition, there was extensive rusting on the front side panels and trunk, that needed to be removed. Again, because the rusting was so severe, too much of the metal was missing to make repairs. So those parts also had to be replaced. Today, I got a call from Karim, who said that my car was ready. When I arrived, he, along with two of his bodywork employees, meticulously went over all of the work that had gone into reviving my dilapidated S430. Awesome!!! It has to be one of the best looking 13 year-old Benz on the road today. I found Wizard Werks to be a highly reputable operation, with employees who are diligent, knowledgeable and proud of their work. My review is specific to the service and attention I received when I took my car in for service last week and then again today. I had an oil leak which was fixed (or so we thought). After driving it again the same "turn engine off" light came on which caused me to have to pay for another oil change in the suburbs in order make my car drivable back into the city. I subsequently brought my car in today and Derek (sp?) was very focused on making sure they fixed the issue while I waited, he was not only accommodating but actually proactive in reaching out to me to schedule a time to come in. Throughout the entire 6 weeks that Wizard Werks worked on my car, I was never disappointed. I own a BMW M3 E92 that Wizard Werks returned to me in absolute perfect condition after an unfortunate impact to the front right of the car. Owning a high performance vehicle made it difficult to lend it out to a shop that I barely have any knowledge about...I just trusted my instincts from reading a couple reviews. Well, I'm here to say that Wizard Werks will definitely take care of any performance vehicle that needs restoration. Ennos Pereira is the absolute guy to go to if you have any doubts or concerns. A special shout out to this man is an essential as he continuously kept me up to date with the progress on my car as much as he could. Not only did he keep me up to date but he thoroughly explained any repair that I did not know much of. He took special pre-cautions of situations that could possibly be an issue in the future and took care of it to prevent them from ever happening such as replacing the entire air-bag sensor system just incase it was disturbed at impact. It is under my understanding that Wizard Werks will do everything by the factory book when it comes to these high performance cars. By no means do I mean that they only go full out on sport cars but they take great pride in their work no matter what car you bring to their shop. The fact that the owner-Karim is a BMW enthusiast only assured me in the sense that I finally have found a shop I can trust my car with. I used to visit Motor Werks BMW in Barrington, but I noticed with their recent expansion in service they lost their focus on the customer experience and their attention to details. Additionally, I've noticed at the dealership they don't take the time to actually diagnose the issue, instead they just blindly replace components and hope the issues doesn't repeat. I heard of Wizard Werks from a friend's positive experience and decided to check it out and wish I found out of them sooner....why? 1. They have service advisor's that actually care and have the background knowledge on the issue...i.e. they're involved throughout the whole repair process 2. Attention to detail is excellent and actually take the time to follow up to ensure the issue was corrected 3. I brought my car in most recently because I thought I needed new brakes and new shocks. Turns out the steering rack assembly was barely still attached and several bolts were stripped or missing. It initially looked like it was going to need replaced which was several thousands of dollars. I wanted to restore my 1983 BMW 320i (I'm the original owner) and after looking at various restoration stops, I decided on WW. Karim (owner), Luis (service manager) and Chris (body shop technician) were my 'team'. I received a competitive cost estimate from Karim and spoke with him (and Luis) about the restoration process and was comfortable with their knowledge, attention to detail and appreciation for vintage cars. Throughout the process, Luis communicated with me via email or phone calls, sent me pictures of the restoration progress and pictures of additional restoration work that was 'discovered' once the car was disassembled. I was invited to visit the shop (I made a few) to see the progress and assure myself that the additional restoration work was needed. Of particular note were the challenges that are incurred when restoring a 35 year old BMW. Finding OEM or replacement parts, fabricating or repairing body parts when parts are no longer available, upholstery repair and reassembly to 'like new' condition were all encountered and SUCCESSFULLY completed to make the BMMR look, drive and feel like new. Very pleased with Karim, Luis and his team. Karim is a 'man of his word'. The restoration was well worth the time and cost

Return visit with 2006 Mini Cooper, price better than dealership and results on the work done as good as what one could expect from the dealership. One disappointment was that one of two main reasons I went in was to diagnose why I continued to get a flat on one of the tires. The diagnosis was rim was fine, tire was fine (but worn) but not sure why it loses air. I'm still having to put air in the tire still. Maybe I should go to a tire store. I also wanted to fix or replace the arm rest in the center between the front seats. That never got completed or explained as to why that went unattended to. Still, Karim will always follow up and rectify concerns so this is not enough to not return to Wizard Works. I am heading back with my GL450 for service, see you soon!

On my vacation to Chicago, I bounded my car on the bridge fence and caused the left front tire fully damaged and also the suspension. The damage is limited to the wheel and suspension but still quite bad. I found this auto shop with good reputation online. Bobert take a close exam on the car. We discussed for quite a while to make a feasible plan to repair the car in a limited time and budget. Thanks to Alex the mechanics, he put hard work on this car and manage to repair the back to the state before the accident. Just before Chicago's polar vortex, I tried to pop the hood (to refill window washer fluid) and the handle snapped off -- so I couldn't access at all. Was a bit frantic. Having had bad experiences with Gold Coast Autobody & Euro Collision, I decided to ask my Mercedes Advisor for a 3rd recommendation, ie- Tim Murguia’s - Wizard Werks. Wizard Werks customer service team was REAL time, courteous, professional & empathetic. I was given a play by play on process, parts, and turn around time. Everything was carried out with painless precision. Hands down, Wizard Werks was truly a magical experience!!!

Dont take your Land Rover to the Dealer - Take it to Wizard Works!! I took my Land Rover Discovery to the local Land Rover dealer for a brake job and some basic maintenance. OMG the dealer wanted to charge me 3 THOUSAND dollars. I dont need to tell you the name of the Chicago Land Rover dealer because there is only 1 of them. Just because there is only 1 Land Rover Dealer in Chicago they think they can rip us all off. I did some research and found that Wizard Werks repair and service all European auto brands including Range Rovers and Land Rovers. I called them and talk about my situation and what I needed for my Discovery. They were totally honest on the phone, looked up some parts and gave me a price that was WAY BELOW the price the land rover dealer gave me that same day for the exact same service. I brought my car in that day and was met by the owner who wrote up the repair ticket and answered all my questions. I asked them specifically if there were going to use Land Rover OEM parts for my brake job and repairs and he assured me they would. He even went as far as telling me that he would save the brake pad and brake drum boxes and show me them and the new parts on my car when I came to pick it up. It took 3 days but when I came to pick it up, he remembered what he told me and showed me the parts boxes and even had the mechanic leave one of the tires off the car on the lift to show me my shinny new Land Rover OEM brakes. These guys are the real deal. Its hard to find an honest auto repair shop in Chicago but its obvious that Wizard Werks is interested in my business over the long term and they run an honest business! How do I know this.... because the owner told me this when I was paying for my repairs. Save your money and STOP going to the Land Rover dealer. Wizard Werks knows their stuff and will hook you up!

These guys are as honest as they come. Whether you know what is wrong or not they will tell you the truth and let you decide how to proceed. I've taken my car in because of a scrapping sound coming from underneath the engine and they put my car up on the rack, hunted around for issues and then told me it was a couple of screw mounts that needed tightening. They didn't charge me anything and I was out of there in 20 minutes.
