Connor, Brittany, and the whole team take exceedingly good care of me and my car and I only hope that I will be able to go to them for everything my car might need in the future. They're kind, very efficient, knowledgeable, and they do an excellent job whether it's a simple oil change or something more complicated. They're always willing to explain everything patiently and in language that I understand, giving me options so that I can make the most informed decision possible for my vehicle. My former service center closed very abruptly, leaving me with nowhere to go but the dealership, which I want to avoid unless it's absolutely critical. I'll be returning to Connor and his team, and you would be wise to give them an opportunity to service your car, too!

It was SOOO easy to get my tires changed.Ti had the tires delivered there, tires arrived within two days. I scheduled my changeover once I got the notification they were delivered. I was luckily able to add on an inspection once we were there. In and out in an hour. They were reasonably priced and very fast. They were able to dispose of the old tires too.

I came in for an oil change and the employees offered to fix my headlight as well, along with several other general maintenance issues. Often mechanics act as though they don't have the time of day for you, but here they were eager to help and were incredibly fast and professional. Came in early in the day and only had to wait just under 20 mins to be on my way again after the oil change. Decent price for their thorough work (topped off fluids, checked tire pressure, belts, etc without pressuring action on their recommendations). I really appreciate the picnic bench by the beautiful paper birch tree while I waited...it allowed me time to just be with Mother Nature for a few moments.

Great quick service, best place for a quick oil change. Always good to me for inspection. Only problem is it's busy and fast service, so if your coming for anything else you might find it harder to get an appointment or sit down and talk with a tech.

I had a wonderful experience at the oil n go on Shelburne road. I dropped off my car because there was a problem with the front muffler. The staff originally told me the cost would be $600 ... I later brought my car back to have the muffler replaced. After starting to work on the muffler the technician realized the whole thing did not need to be replaced. I left with paying only $170. The staff could have easily taken advantage and charged the original $600, but instead they were very professional and honest. On top of all of that the staff was friendly and everything was on time. So thankful for this experience. Would definitely recommend!!

Really like this place. Clean, professional, friendly. I've tried Jiffy Lube a few times, all their employees are like carnival workers. I like Oil n' Go much better. Update 01/21/21: Just came back for an oil change. Walked out to meet me in the parking lot. Got me right in. Had my truck in the garage before I even talked to the front desk person. Very much on top of things and ready to service your vehicle. Forgot my coupon that was mailed to me, they honored it anyway. Second time in a row I've had a positive experience. Nobody is perfect, but I feel good about this place so far. I'll update after my next visit.

Been going to Oil N Go for many years now, both at the Essex and S Burlington locations. I've always been impressed by the speed and efficiency of the service and I feel all of the technicians go the extra mile. Fantastic service. Highly recommend them. I used to go to the Essex location, more often, but I'm living closer to Shelburne Rd. now. I came in with a different vehicle and address and Amanda did a great job updating my information. Carlos Ramos, the manager, handled my vehicle. I came in at 11:30 and was back doing my numerous errands, by noon. The price was great and there are $8 coupons, in several various newspapers around Burlington. He put my mind at ease about my vehicle possibly burning oil, but did recommend a power steering flush, since my vehicle was needing the power steering fluid topped off. I'm back here, at 4 pm, to get it done. I do not just get things done and have said no thanks, to various suggestions, in the past, but I do know cars and this repair is very reasonable and needed. And they are speedy. Carlos is a good technician and honest as the day is long. Great waiting area and super clean bathroom, too. You won't be sorry, if you get your car serviced at Oil n Go.

I recently went into Oil n' Go on Shelburne Road in South Burlington for an oil change and a transmission flush. I asked my "backwoods" mechanic friend (who doesn't do oil changes) where to go in town and he suggested the same place I've been going for years: Oil n' Go. I was surprised but reassured. Called first to see if they were busy, the woman who answered was very friendly and helpful. She gave realistic wait times. When I showed up, the gentleman who greeted me did not pressure me to purchase more at all. I was grateful for that. He also didn't judge that I was long overdue for both these service. I was very impressed. My dog was allowed inside with me in their waiting area and as staff popped in and out they were friendly with all the folks who were waiting - even if it wasn't the customer they were directly dealing with. The entire experience was one worth praising. I would highly recommend going here, especially if you aren't as confident in your car knowledge. One thing that really won me over - there was no up sell. In fact, the guy I worked with even said, "No you don't need that." when we discussed the level of work that should be done. I walked out happy feeling like I got a deal and my car was running great. I'll be back in 3,500 miles.

My experience has been wonderful with Oil N Go! I was greeted within a few seconds of parking my car, and a manager walked me through everything that was done on my first service. He even pointed out some helpful tips on what to prepare (such as my VT vehicle inspection and having a front plate on), since I just moved to Vermont about 3 months ago and am adjusting to the new standards out here. I keep a detailed record of each and every service that my car goes through, including what was done, what the mileage at that time was, and the date of service. A manager, Alden, walked me through my car's history and cross referencing with the manual, we worked out a plan for keeping my car in great shape, and keeping on top of the great deals that are offered here. This is an incredible place to have your car serviced, but just like with any product or service, the more you know about it, the better experience you will have. They are very knowledgeable here about what they are doing, and if you know your car's maintenance history, you will have just as great of an experience as I did. Thank you Oil N Go!

My last trip to Oil 'n' Go (South Burlington) was by far the most involved visit I'd ever had there. I needed multiple repairs/maintenance in order to pass my yearly inspection later this month. As always, these guys were super efficient, professional, and more-than-fairly priced. They took the time to explain exactly what work was being done and why. I can't say I know much about cars, so their patience and friendliness is always super appreciated. They actually got my car running BETTER than the day I bought it! To top it all off, they have a price match guarantee - amazing! I spend most of my waking hours on the road, and have for years; so the team at Oil 'n' Go - SB, for me, are not just my go-to guys, they're my family. Every visit, no matter how small or big the job is, is topped off with expert knowledge, efficient service, and exceptional prices. I have gone to them for several years now, and between the old faces and the new, I am consistently impressed by the level of professionalism, friendliness, and a too-often under-rated quality; camaraderie between this team. Lucas, Judd, Britney, Amanda, Corey, Etc. There is not a single person who works at this location that I don't have high praises to sing about. My on-the-road career involves a lot of interpersonal interaction, and even though that's the main reason that I thoroughly love my job, thanks to these guys, for the first time since I was a teenager, I've started to love driving again. I ordered rims from Tire Rack with a direct shipment to the South Burlington location. Appointment was easy to get even during the busy winter tire swap out season. During the installation one of the new rims was damaged. I reached out online the next day and in less than 24hrs recieved a phone call. Britney called to see how she could help and within a matter of minutes a new rim was ordered. Once the replacement rim arrived Britney called and arranged for an appointment. The whole process was proffesional and fast. Thank you Britney for excellent customer service.

I have been a customer at OilnGo on Shelburne Rd for over 20+ years. Sean, Lucus, and their team are incredibly dedicated, hard-working, friendly, courteous, and especially honest. Their customer service is excellent! They have never tried to take advantage of me, my family and they always guarantee their work. As a car hack myself that tinkers with my cars and hang on to vehicles as along as possible, they have diagnosed, fixed, and work with me to keep my vehicles on the road safely. I trust them to give me an honest estimate, they do excellent work whether it is an oil change, tire change over, or mechanical repairs. It is important to look at their tenure as employees. The crew working at this location rarely changes, which says to me they are valued employees that love the work they do. I highly recommend the people at OilnGo!

On the service provided on scheduling a service appointment and getting a quote online: The response was same day for my service inquiry. The price was the fairest and they were the most attentive to my questions vs 2 other local garages one being the a dealership which specializes in my cars make. I regularly go there for my oil changes and they are fast, friendly and reliable and never try to push additional services too hard, but only give recommendations. I have gone to them for many issues both for my previous Xterra and now with my Focus. I just got new tires put on my car and they were not only competitive in their pricing, but it was the service that really sold me. We have been bringing all our cars here since 2005, and I used to drive 1000s of miles a month so was in all the time getting oil changed and all sorts of maintenance and repair issues handled.They always - I mean every single time - go above and beyond to help you solve whatever issue you’re facing. And their solution isn’t necessarily to throw money into it, they get creative and problem solve and actually fix things right! Having spent so many hours in their waiting area I’ve watched the whole team be kind and helpful to every customer even in difficult situations. I could really list them all, but Lucas and Shawn are amazing and really know their stuff. No matter how busy they are they take the time to explain and to actually show you the damage to parts, ect. I’d also add as a woman who’s had cars serviced for some 30 years now that Oil n Go is by far the most honest, comfortable, fair and dare I say, fun to work with. I’ve never felt condescended to or driven away feeling ripped off or unsatisfied.

This place is ok, but over priced and they won't always do what they say they will. Depending on who you get at the counter you might get miss information. I have been here four times now and it's a 50/50 shot if the person is willing to sell me non-synthetic oil. They over estimate time to the point you can't really plan your day. 50 min to get a state inspection and oil change. There were done in 20 min. I am not complain that it was fast, just that they can not quote the amount of time they need at all. My state inspection was also not actually completed. I new I needed wiper blades. The blade on one side was ripped off completely, but they did not notice this. I guess this could have been related to doing the inspection and oil change in 20 min. Make sure you double check work.

Keep great records of all of the service I've had on my car. Always completely honest. Will bring me into the shop to educate and show me what needs to be repaired - never felt like I am being jerked around like I have at other mechanics. Recently had an issue with my car making noise and referred me to the manufacturer since they saw the part was still under warranty so that I could save some money. When the dealership was being difficult (no surprises there), I brought it back free of charge and the owner came out to verify the issue and printed out the known issue with these cars to bring back to the dealership. Very impressed with the service recieved. No appointment needed, decently priced, with unbelievable service! For the price of an oil change they include vacuuming and topping off all my fluids (with 17 other free services!). They also discovered that Carfax had the wrong information for my car and changed it for me. It took about 20 minutes which went quick with the free wifi. And you can't argue with supporting local!

We are from north carolina, and our cars transmission failed once we got up here. We had it towed to the local dealership and recieved a quote of 1800 to get the car fixed. I decided to get a second quote and my son recommended oil n go. I spoke with a technician named Kyle that my son knows and he was courteous, professional and didn't push me into making a decision in the same way the dealership had. Understanding our situation being stuck without a car out of town they finished the car in one day and saved me 700 dollars compared to the cost of the dealer. They had my car done a half a day before i expected it as well. I am very happy with my experience, and would go back in a minute if i didn't live a thousand miles away

I've been a long time customer of this location and I'm constantly recommending them to friends, family & colleagues. They are fast, effecient & trustworthy. They've been taking care of my Impreza for almost 7 years now and I rarely go anywhere else for service (when I do it's because I'm out of town). The manager, Lucas has, always treated me well. When I do hear or read about complaints, it's usually because Oil'n'Go is recommended services that the customer feels is unncessary or they feel is too expensive. Here's the thing: they recommend based off of the OEM's service schedule. If you don't share what's been done to your car previously, they don't have the vehicle's history so they recommend based on your mileage. And regarding prices, shop around. We live in the age of the internet where everything is transparent. You'll find that their prices are competitive (and they offer great discounts via their direct mail coupons). Also, after they finish up an oil change they will bring you over to your car and show you your air filter, coolant info, etc. Depending on who is talking to you, they can come off a little pushy sometimes. Just know that they are looking out for you and your vehicle and you can very easily say "no, I'm all set at this time" or "maybe when I come in for my next oil change". Overall, I'm always pleased when I leave their shop. They've done my oil changes, tire rotations/swaps, brakes, and quite a few other services. The head mechanic, Shawn, is honest and professional. If you ever have any issues with their service please talk to Lucas. He will do his best to make sure you are taken care of.

This is my first time using Oil n Go. Greeting was okay. Place is clean. Employees can be heard talking and laughing in the garage from the customer lounge. Makes you think about how much attention they're paying to their work. I would only come here in a pinch. My dealer was too busy and my car really needed an oil change.
