I was referred to Meridian Automotive from another mechanic shop. The first thing they did was a thorough inspection and evaluation for a reasonable price. Unlike the Dealership, they gave me a precise diagnosis of the problem, and were prepared to do repairs on the actual problem. The dealership didn't diagnose the problem, and just recommended a new engine. Unfortunately the diagnosed problem required a complete engine rebuild. Hanna, my service advisor was very helpful and explained the whole process up front. I was given a price up front, and a time frame for repairs. Throughout the repair, Hanna kept me updated on the progress, and also advised me of any additional repairs or costs involved. They even took photos, and showed me old and new parts going in. There was GREAT COMMUNICATION and excellent customer service throughout the whole process. My mechanic Gary did an excellent job, and he had all the tools and facilities at his disposal to do the entire engine rebuild in shop. All the tooling and block and head resurfacing and machining was done in house, not sent out to a third party. I was very impressed with the facilities and capabilities of Meridian Automotive. Overall I was VERY IMPRESSED with the skills of the ASE Certified Mechanics, and the professional interaction with the font office staff. It is extremely difficult to find an honest, fair, and trustworthy mechanic these days. I have found that at Meridian Automotive. I will definitely be back for all of my Mechanic needs! I trust them to work on any of my vehicles! Thank you !

Meridian automotive is incredible they called me same day with the diagnosis and the quote for repairs. During repairs they tried multiple times to charge my battery and it wouldn’t charge so they called me up and suggested I take it in because it appeared to still be under warranty. When I took my car in, their was a few things wrong with it. I had been putting off taking my car in because of the expense. But once I found Meridian Automotive they were so wonderful from the get go and I felt that the quote they gave me was very affordable. I had received a quote before them that was an arm and a leg but the price Meridian Automotive gave me was affordable and I didn't think twice in having them fix my car. They were wonderful to work with they keep you up to date on everything and I really appreciated that even once I picked up my car they still called me a few days later checking in to see how my car was running. I was very pleased with my experience at Meridian Automotive. When my 08 Scion died on the road I was prepared for it to be a whole ordeal. The speed of the team was great - the very next morning after I dropped the key they had a diagnosis for me with options to choose from and after only a very short wait on parts I was back on the road. I was treated very fairly without a lot of unnecessary jargon being thrown around. Everyone I spoke to from the tech on the phone to the receptionist were friendly with a good attitude. I took my car to Meridian Automotive after a recommendation from a friend and reading the reviews on Google and Yelp. I called ahead and spoke with Jesse and Jason. They were both very professional, provided accurate information and were able to get me in right away. I had a good idea of the work needed on the car and the pricing and quotes for labor were right on par with what I expected. Jason answered all my questions and was very upfront about all the work and recommendations. They provided a shuttle to my home and best of all the work was complete an entire day and half early. I've found my local repair shop! Being new to the area and in a new-to-me vehicle, I was nervous about where to bring it when I needed repairs. I called several dealerships and repair shops for quotes and read hundreds of reviews for different shops. When I called Meridian Automotive, I was surprised not to be rushed off the phone with a quick, off the cuff number, but instead I was asked for more information about my car's symptoms. The excellent customer service, even before a sale, as well as the number of reviews here and the high rating helped me choose Meridian Automotive. As soon as I brought my vehicle in, Mike helped me navigate the complication of an after market warranty insurance, took the time and care to inspect and check for any additional problems at my request and made sure the job was done well. Meridian Automotive didn't beat all of the other quoted prices, but Mike was willing to give me quotes on the value parts and the best quality parts, so that I could make the choice on my own terms. Also, mostly due to the warranty company's need to come out an inspect the work and diagnostics, it took more time that I would have liked, but I also know that patience can be the key when you are looking for quality. I will be coming back to Meridian Automotive with all of my repair needs and maintenance needs as well. The best part is that Misty offered to give me a courtesy call to remind me of my oil changes so that I won't forget them (again). Truly excellent customer service and quality people. I feel good about my choice and confident in Meridian Automotive.

The staff is always kind, the work is done quickly and well, and sometimes it even comes out cheaper than originally quoted which is a bonus. We recently took our vehicle to another mechanic who told us everything was fine, but it turns out that they missed some very important and potentially dangerous problems. Had my car looked at by another repair shop, but they couldn't figure out what was wrong with the car, so after spending $850 and them saying they could try replacing some other parts for another 800, but no guarantee that would fix it, I felt like I was getting nowhere, I knew I needed to take my car to a reputable repair shop, I ended up calling Meridian Automotive to come pick up my stranded car and to please figure out the root problem. Nick and the Crew were able to tow the car to the shop and let me know what was wrong with the vehicle in just a few hours. Best of all the cost of the repair was a fraction of what the other guys wanted. My Acura runs flawlessly now, thanks to Meridian Automotive.

We have been customers of Meridian Auto since moving to the area in 2012. They have always been accommodating, competent and very professional. Recently our driver's window regulator broke on a Sunday night. First thing Monday morning we were at the shop. We had family coming in that night, and really needed the car with a working window to pick them up. They were able to track down a 289 engine block from same make and year as my 66 classic. Did great job on restoring my car. Hello to anyone reading this! I want to let you know that Meridian Automotive has helped my wife and I for a few years now. We have a problem with our vehicle, get it towed over to them, and Meridian Automotive checks out what's going on. We have always had a pleasant experience, and they communicate openly with us. No one ever wants to deal with car issues. No one ever wants to pay money for repairs. When this happens, you have to make a choice. Who do you go with? You got cheap options. You have expensive options. You have excellent customer service, and terrible customer service. Meridian Auto has provided us with fair pricing. Not cheap. Not expensive. But yes, fair. Fair pricing. Meridian auto has provided us with excellent customer service. You want someone who knows what they are doing right? You want someone who wont go cheap on you, right? I dealt with Mike the manager mostly and he was great at explaining everything about what was found and what needed to be addressed now or later in my vehicle and why. The team at Meridian Auto are great. They are great communicators, NICK and Mike were always available with excellent follow up. I brought my 31 year old RV in because it was losing power and stalling on hills. Turned out to be the fuel pumps, which aren't cheap, but their diagnosis was right on. What a difference when I took it out after. Much more power. Additionally I had a wish list item, the dashboard AC didn't work. They took a look, changed some fittings and established it was holding a vacuum. They charged it with the new coolant, and for a few hundred dollars I was back in business. Very excited to have air conditioning. I am hoping to not spend anymore on the RV this season, but I will take it to Meridian Auto should I need anything else.

I very much appreciated Meridian Automotive's approach to diagnosing and fixing several items on my truck that had failed emissions testing. I took my truck to them for a second opinion as another local mechanic told me it needed a new turbo installed...not the case at all. Meridian Automotive saved me a lot of money. My boss suggested Meridian Automotive based on his experience with them in the past- after taking my Ford Ranger in for a coolant leak and getting a diagnosis, I found out they had worked with my warranty company before and had good things to say. They gave me an estimate, filed the claims, and scheduled the work. I dropped the pickup on Thursday afternoon so they could start Friday, hoping they could do the scope of work in a day. Justin (great guy!) said they would do their best, and they did! When I called late in the day, the mechanic was wrapping up- not only did they do the work needed, they found a leak in my AC and got that sorted out! I have a couple other issues and will definitely be calling Meridian Automotive! Highly recommend!

I recently had the AC repaired on my Honda CRV. Justin at Meridian Automotive was very helpful, got the information to me promptly as to cost and how long it would take. After the repair started, I remembered my Maxcare warranty, which required preauthorization. Justin spent considerable time with the paperwork and ended up saving me over $1300. His friendly manner in all our dealings was so nice. I got my car back at the time promised and AC works great!!! I have already started recommending this shop to all my friends. Tim worked me through the shock and even offered a couple option for financing the large bill and waited patiently for me to get the funds before starting the job. I will keep this short. I own a Honda Civic with over 180k miles. A spark plug hole had been stripped in the past and repaired by another local auto repair company.(company #1). The repair was a standard insert to provide the needed threads for the spark plug to thread onto. Two years later the spark plug blew out of the hole and caused a dent in the hood and a tow bill. I then went to a different local repair shop (company #2) and explained that the hole had been repaired in the past with an insert and inquired if it could be repaired by them. The counter guy was not sure if a insert was manufactured for a second repair after an insert had been used prior. He said I might need to replace the whole engine head. I then contacted Meridian Automotive. I spoke to the counter guy by phone. I explained the prior repair. He advised that he was very confident that they could repair the damaged plug hole even though it had been repaired before. I dropped the vehicle off. I was called at 10 o’clock in the morning with an estimate and had my car back by 3 o’clock in the afternoon. The repair was done. No new engine head required. I am very happy Meridian auto knew what they were talking about. Upon internet researching I discovered that there is indeed an insert manufactured for a second repair on a spark plug hole. A fact the guy at company #2 should have known. I am very happy with the repair results.

Took my older car in to have the windshield wiper motor replaced. Mike had great communication and called to let me know about some other issues. I decided to have the front springs replaced, as well as some O Rings replaced where the engine has been leaking oil. Came to pick up the car, upon driving home I had some issues with the car cutting out. I called them and they told me to bring it directly back to them. Walter went out of his way to help identify the problem. Even took me for a test ride so we could identify exactly was going on. The shop replaced my spark plug cables and spark plugs (free of charge). Walter even went to pick up the necessary cable replacement on his own. This was all done right at closing time. I appreciated Mike's constant communication, and Walter's genuine care for getting me back on the road. It is always frustrating when you experience issues with your car. I appreciated the effort to make a difficult time a little better.

This is the 2nd shop I've tried outside of the dealer for my VW TDI. They are professional and you can tell they run a solid shop. However prices were extremely high, like a bit more expensive than the dealer. They also noted all sorts of problems with my car on their inspection to the point that they deemed my car unsafe to drive. They wanted $120 at that point just to take a look for a reported "front suspension clunk"....I let them do the oil change and nothing else. After getting my car back, I immediately took it to the dealer for a 2nd opinion. Almost all issues on inspection were found to be inaccurately diagnosed or blown out of proportion.... for example, the front suspension clunk was simply the brake pads.....In the end, I don't doubt for a second that they would have gotten my car fixed properly, it just would have taken more time and money. Will stick to the dealer in the future

The AC on my truck went out suddenly. I added more refrigerant myself, with no luck. Took it to meridian automotive and they found the issues with the system and even had the tech show me what he found first hand. When they quoted me the cost of repairs, I about had a heart attack. $2140, in parts and labor. I called around, told the other shops what needed to be done, cheapest quote was $2450. I called Tom @ Meridian back and told him to go forward with the repairs. He called me the following day and told me he ran into a snag and the new manifold line was going to be an extra $300. I told him to do it. They got my truck finished up within the time frame that they quoted me, and Tom even came and picked me up to give me a ride to the shop personally. When we got back, he showed me the total, and to my surprise, he was able to cur the cost back down to below the original quote, all the way down to $2000.08! Thanks Tom! And with the complete AC rebuild in my truck, the air blows colder than it ever has. Thanks Meridian Automotive!

I brought my FJ Cruiser in here after I crashed into a tree Christmas Eve trying to avoid a car sliding in the snow. My front ball joint, strut, cv axle, and tie rod were all completely destroyed. Jason Brumpton was incredibly helpful and very friendly. The repairs took a little while (about 3 weeks) but that was mainly because we had to deal with our stupid insurance company for about 2 of those weeks. Meridian automotive also saved us some money by fabricating and refurbishing some of the parts needed in house rather than buying brand new ones. I thought for sure this would be the beginning of the end for my poor FJ but it runs great. They do quality work and Jason will walk you through exactly everything they do and why they do it. I will definitely be using them for all of my future repairs.

15 years experience as a mechanic and I use there machine shop for various jobs. They have BY FAR the most well kept and professional machine shop I've seen outside of a tier 1 race engine builder. A clean machine shop reflects well on the care and experience of the technicians handling your parts, which almost always results in a higher quality end product. The staff is both friendly and professional and I value their interaction. They arent the cheapest in town, but you can count on their superior service. Very satisfied customer! On a side note they are also one of the few machinists in town that know how to properly surface a stepped flywheel, which is hard to find if you are familiar with that kind of work.

First, complaining about the cost is not a rating. If you want the best, you have to pay for it. It's ok to mention the price, but rate the service, too. Of course they are going to make money. Who the hell doesn't go to work every day to make money? Before I started going to Meridian, I could say that I have never had a car serviced without something messed up. I have always had to redo things myself. I realized that no one else cares about my cars the way I do. That's the reality. That's why I have been fixing my own cars all my life. I started going to Meridian to do things, such as machine work, that I cannot do myself. I was surprised to find that they do care maybe even more than I do. They actually offer ideas for improvements not just to make money but because they have a passion for cars. Yes, sometimes they make mistakes. I don't know anyone who never makes a mistake. But when Meridian makes a mistake, they own it and take care of it. That's what impresses me. For those of us who prefer to pay a little more for reliable work by professional people who actually know what they are doing, Meridian is the best. They have experience, and they care about their work.

One of the few shops around that has a warranty on their work, 36 months, and they stand behind it 100 percent. That warranty saved me 2000 dollars today. Thank you all for having a pride in your craft. That is rare to find these days. A part went bad, it was a replacement part under warranty, The shop covered the parts, labor, diagnostics, and related issue without blinking or making me argue or fight.They did it with a smile. What a gem.

Hometown experience for sure.... I was very impressed when I called on 10/24/16 to get a wheel bearing pressed onto a hub from my Maxima. Yes, that's one thing I won't try at home. I was impressed because I was treated so well and my needs were met with a sincere desire to be a help. When I called to say I wanted to bring my hub and bearing in - I let on how I was hoping to get this done sooner than later. Now I know it's not always going to be the case, but it seems to me that sincere people will help when they can. I was invitingly told, "Well c'mon over." I suspect I spoke with Mike or Jeff over the phone. When I showed up I was greeted by Walter who escorted me to Kim who seems to be in the service department. Kim made eye contact and with a helpful facial expression, she pushed her glasses up from her nose as she hooked me up with a written cost and an approximate time estimate. Trust me, I wasn't gonna get taken... I did shop around for service, reliability and price locally. I was even more impressed when I was called in about an hour when Kim said, "your parts are ready for pick up". I can't say for sure, but I think the mechanic had come in earlier than his scheduled start time and completed my RnR. Perhaps it's just the way they do things there... When I arrived to pick it up, Kim showed me the old bearing and explained what the mechanic had relayed as to why the bearing had failed. Kim was quite knowledgeable herself. I'm just gonna say it, I think it was because the part was not Made in America. My thanks and future recommendations go to the Staff at Meridian Automotive Sincerely, Bob M. I've had a lot of problems with mechanics in the past, so when I heard all the great reviews about this place I was kind of skeptical. But I was happy to find that all the good things I'd heard were true! The staff was friendly and helpful, and not only did they fix the problem, but they went above and beyond to make sure everything was running smoothly. The pressing issues were taken care of, and they let me know about everything else that might need attention in the future. There was no pressure about those repairs though, it was just helpful advice. My absolute favorite thing about this business is that I can trust them completely, without a doubt. There are never any questionable charges and prices have always been fair. I recommend them to everyone!

The reman gearbox (typical) they put on started leaking, so they took it back in and did the work again, no hassle. Friendly and courteous. Charged $85 (including $5.60 in shop supplies) to diagnose periodic "stuttering". Was told that they weren't sure what the problem was but for another few hundred dollars they would replace a few basic electrical parts and see if that helped (including $26.41 in shop supplies). Reminded me of a visit to my doctor, including the cost, with a lot of uncertainty and guessing.

I've been going to them for the last 7 yrs to fix my truck. Always informative and gets my vehicle fixed in a timely manner. While most will say they are on the pricey side for car mechanic, I have never driven away with vehicle concerned they didn't fix it correctly. My best example is recently I had an oil leak when they called me to let me know it was a leak they had already fixed and still under warranty so the fix is at no charge. Integrity🙌
