We love Capitol Auto Body! The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and really seem to know their stuff. We’ve used them for 4 repairs now, 2 of which were extensive. Everything has held and seemed to be done well. On one occasion there was a very small area where the clear coat flaked after about 6 months, but they took care of it quickly under warranty and I’ve had no further problems with it. Their estimates for repair and time are good and they work well with insurance companies. All the auto body places worth anything are booked solid right now, so be prepared to wait some if it’s a big job. It’s worth it. That’s said, they always seem to try their hardest to get you back on the road quickly.

For some unknown reason, I broke my underbody shield on my Hyundai Kona, and I hated seeing it hanging down underneath the front of my car. I did an online estimate for a replacement, and the price was WAY better than I thought it would be. I call them to schedule an appointment, and they said they would order the part right then and call me back when received. I got the call THE NEXT DAY and they even said they could squeeze me in the day after that! Come to find out they were completely booked out until 6 MONTHS from that time when I get there, and they even bust it out within 20 minutes because it was my lunch hour. You know it’s dang good customer service when they squeeze you in for small things, because even those mean a lot! Thank you so much for your amazing service! :)

Despite the fact that they were booked out for 6 months, they squeezed me in for a passenger side mirror replacement. The got the part and painted it (exact match) in only a few days. Installed in an hour or two. Entire job took less than a week. Professional, courteous, and fast work. Labor cost is very reasonable, IMHO. RECOMMEND!

Absolutely the best in every way!!!! I took my truck in to get an estimate, the estimate was prepared and sent to me within 24 hours (actually less than that). I scheduled a day to drop it off to have the repairs completed. I was told it would take 2 weeks to complete, which was fine with me. The truck was done 4 days early and all was perfect. The body was perfect and the paint was beautiful. I had asked for a few extra items to be repaired that were not on the original estimate, they were done as asked and still done 4 days early. If I ever have the need for any more body & paint work, I will only go here, and I can highly recommend this shop. The entire staff that I had any conversation with were all very helpful, polite and professional.

Rear end accident that left the bumper and tailgate in need of replacement, along with some trunk damage. Tailgate alignment is tricky and they took the time to fine tune adjust. Kind office staff who put up with my weirdness. I love my 6-speed HRV and it was so nice to have a team who appreciated my auto, as well.

With the amount of people living in Idaho now, and the post COVID economy the way it is, parts, staff, etc. are hard to come by, so it took a long time to get my truck in. But the staff here communicated well the entire time. The truck turned out great. This is a great business.

A man hit my car in a parking lot and caused damages. I took it to Capitol Auto Body and they fixed the damages. Realigned the bumper, replaced the side marker light and painted the side bumper. Unfortunately, it looks so good it makes me want to get the whole 🚗 car repainted now! LOL. They estimated 3 days to repair and had it done in 2. I stopped in at Capital City Auto Body one afternoon to get a quote for a scrape on my front fender. A gentleman who I assumed was the owner (sadly didn’t catch his name), promptly came out to inspect my car. After surveying the damage, he asked me to wait and returned after a few minutes with a microfiber cloth and some buffing compound. The unsightly scrape was hardly noticeable when he was done. He provided a verbal estimate but suggested a little touch up paint if I didn’t want to spend the money. I definitely plan to return to CCAB to have the fender fixed completely, but until then, it’s not nearly the eyesore it was before. I was really impressed by this simple but impactful level of customer service and would highly recommend them to anyone needing auto body work.

My cars driver side window fell into the door, as the regulator had failed. They were able to give me a quote, get the part, and had it fixed, all within the span of a couple days. While driving through Utah, I noticed one of my bumper covers was partly detached and looked like it might blow off. When I got to Boise, a friend recommended contacting Tyler at Capitol Auto Body. On short notice, they reattached the bumper cover quickly and inexpensively. Everyone there was friendly, polite and confident that my problem could be solved. It was a great experience and I highly recommend taking your vehicles in for any kind of repair. They're the best!

I came here for an estimate for insurance claim. A lot of cars outside and looks really busy. Lobby is very small but very clean and staff is very professional and communicates well. My car got swiped pretty badly all along the drivers side leaving serious dent and scratch damage to both doors and side panels, but Capitol Auto Body made it look like nothing ever happened. Upon receiving my car, the interior was vacuumed, wiped down very cleanly, and the car was shining like it was brand new. They performed very high quality repair work and kept me updated throughout the entire process. They worked directly with the insurance company who was handling my claim, which made the entire process extremely easy for me to deal with. Fantastic service! Capitol Auto Body exceeded my expectations in customer service, quality and timeliness. My car was backed into, and the hood was in poor shape. I took it in, and within 10 minutes they had pictures, a quote and my drop off scheduled. I was not able to make my original drop off date, and they advised they had overnight drop off or I could reschedule. I rescheduled and they were incredibly patient about it, and it was well worth the wait. They handled the insurance, and a few days later, I got my car back in much better condition than before. The paint matches perfectly, and is flawlessly executed. The car looks brand-new. They are highly skilled and wonderful to work with...I recommend them over anyone in the Treasure Valley!

Jason was awesome to work with. We brought our car in to have the drivers side mirror replaced. Less than 48 hours later the new part was ordered and installed. Jason helped us save money by using a cap off of the old mirror instead of painting the new one to match the car. There are a lot of companies that wouldn’t have done that. I would use this company again in a heartbeat.

My experience with Capitol Auto Body today was a most pleasant experience. The office staff and service staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. If I need work done on any of my vehicles, I will certainly take the work to Capitol Auto Body. The other body shops that I contacted to see if they would do the work on replacing the passenger side mirror assembly quoted that it would cost more and take longer to replace the mirror. I can’t tell you how impressed I am with the service I received. I had been given a quote at another establishment that I felt was excessive. I went to Capitol Auto Body and received a quote that was a tenth of the cost. When my part came in I was able to schedule an appointment and the work was done quickly and my car looks as if I never had a need for repair. Unfortunately we damaged side of our subaru Capital was recommended by our insurance company but we also took car to 3 other places Capital was not the cheapest but very competitive My daughter is student at BSU and when she came home for holidays we decided to get car fixed when she went back in janauary I arranged all the details with Tyler prior to dropping off the car He ordered most of the parts and so when I dropped it off on 1/8 they were ready to start working on it on 1/11 . A 10 day repair was done in 5 Great service and highly recommend them for your repairs

Everything was great. All employees were professional and helpful. Very pleased with the work done. There was a snag in their automated text system though. Was told that work would be done on a certain date and was receiving texts that correlated with that. At 4:30pm, 30 min before closing, I called to clarify if I could pick up the car that day and was told that work was delayed 2 days from the orit estimate. It was frustrating to find out about the delay that way and to learn that the texting system was inaccurate.

I was hit in a parking lot and took my car into Capital for a quote not knowing how much the damage was, it seemed to be scuffed badly but wanted to get it evaluated to make sure there was no serious damage. Everyone that I dealt with was incredibly kind including the lady working the front office area. The gentleman that was going to give me a quote actually ended up buffing almost all of the damage out as it was very badly scuffed. He ended up doing this for free and only took about 10 minutes.
