I had a collision with a deer so a fender needed to be replaced and some other dents removed. Sherrill's did an outstanding job! The paint matching was perfect, and the entire job was far better than I was expecting. They even took care of a deep scratch that I had not mentioned to them. When I picked up the car, it had been detailed inside and out--looked as good as the day I bought it 7 years ago. Very impressed with them!

I am so disappointed I brought my 2 year old Honda CR-V here for some body work and painting because an 18 wheeler side swiped my vehicle. Only about $3,000 in total damage, so it wasn’t all that bad We noticed in the that there is are paint drips. I will be bringing it back if they fix it, I will update this review.

I had a great experience and was referred to go to Sherrill Paint & Body! I was nervous about taking my car in to any body shop and possibly getting taken advantage of, but every time I called into Sherrill, the people I spoke to were kind, as well as when I did end up bringing in my car for a FREE estimate for any possible damage. I didn't end up having any damage after all, and the gentleman also installed my new windshield wipers for me when I said I was too nervous to do myself! I will definitely use this body shop if I ever am in need of one.

Andrew at Sherrill helped us tremendously with the repair of my wife's 2013 Lexus ES 350. He explained the whole process from the beginning, was very transparent with every step of the way, and most importantly helped us with his expertise in dealing with the insurance company properly. He gave us very fair price and worked very hard to make sure all original parts were used for the repair. We recommend Sherrill to everyone. Their customer service was great on things that matter: offering their expertise on behalf of the customer, being courteous, working hard to honor every customer request. Andrew explained the timeline very transparently and updated us in terms of how negotiations with the insurance company was impacting the timeline.

Could not have been a better or easier experience. From the estimate to picking up my T&C minivan the communication was timely, friendly and professional. They worked very well with the insurance company even to the point of not letting me pay for as yet unapproved addition to the estimate when I picked up my vehicle. I first brought my 2007 Toyota Prius in here about 2 years ago with a front bumper issue. They gave me multiple options to fix the damage and were very realistic on cost. I went to about four other body shops around town for price comparisons. Not only were they the most reasonably priced, they were the only shop that felt confident they could repair (instead of replace the bumper), described how they would do it and the pros and cons of the repair. Most shops never even offered me that choice! They ended up repairing it, per my request, and did an amazing job! I spontaneously brought it in for a second major repair to the under carriage. They did fantastic work on that and remembered everything they did the first time. The employees are very polite and extremely realistic with the cost and time the car will be in the shop. My vehicle has always been ready sooner than they project though! They have gone out of their way on countless occasions to go up and beyond for their customers. I highly recommend them!! Personally, I won't be using any other body shop in Birmingham.

They were very prompt to assess the damage and had a repair estimate in my hands within 24 hours, and were communicative during the entire process. The work performed on my car was far better than it needed to be. I can not say enough about the positive experience I had from start to finish at Sherrill Paint & Body. First I met Kasey for my quote and I knew at that moment this was not your ordinary body shop experience. Kasey was extremely professional, thorough, and as courteous as could be. I was paying for the repairs to my BMW myself without insurance and I had a lot of questions because of the difficulty associated with a 3-stage paint like the kind on my car. He answered every question honestly and to my satisfaction. When I dropped off my car, I met Randy and the positive experience continued. When my car was done (a day early), I received a call from Andrew and again the professionalism was way above expectations. And yet, all this pales in comparison to the quality of work that Danny performed on my car. The damage was gone and the paint was a perfect match. And by perfect, I mean the front bumper matched the car better than the rear bumper painted at the factory. And the final kicker, when I went in to pay, it was slightly less than the quote. If you love your car and you want it fixed right, and to be treated right, Sherrill Paint & Body is the place.

Sherrill put in additional needed repairs reports, and the insurance company totaled the car out. I do not normally leave reviews but Sherrill Paint and Body were fantastic. They communicated with me at least twice a week for updates and were very responsive to all of my e-mails. Even during the COVID-19 shut down they were able to complete the repairs in 5 business days. The process took an incredibly long time but that was the fault of the other driver's insurance company dragging their feet to approve the repairs. They even popped out an old dent on a body panel that wasn't involved in the accident. It was raining when I picked up my car so they gave me a voucher to come back to have it detailed. Even then the car was already very clean. I chose this place based on Google reviews and friends. Very glad I chose Sherrill Paint and Body.

I have had 2 very positive experiences with Sherrill Paint & Body Shop. The first time, someone plowed into my passenger side and did considerable damage. They did excellent work and in less than a week. The second time, I backed into a low garden post and crumpled the back end. Again, even ordering replacement panels, they did the work very promptly. This work too was of the highest quality. They even patched up the paint in another, totally unrelated part of the car, which wasn't part of the work order! Both times, they returned my car thoroughly vacuumed and washed. Don't know whether this is standard with all body shops, but I appreciated it. Very pleasant and helpful people.

Had a wreck. Sherrill has by far been my best auto shop experience. They don’t cheap out on their work and even paid an extra day on my rental car since I couldn’t pick up on the scheduled date! Can't say enough about the customer service at Sherrill's! I had some minor damage after a hit-and-run and Sherrill did a great job replacing and painting the front bumper. They even replaced a tail light bulb that was unrelated to the wreck! There was a wait period before they could take my car in, and they kindly collision taped my bumper so I would be safe driving down to Mobile for the holidays. Got my car back clean and vacuumed out. Would definitely return here, had a great experience.

I came in to Sherrill's to obtain a quote regarding buffing out scratches on my vehicle. A Sherrill's associate looked at my car, and said he didn't think the scratches were deep enough to require buffing and painting, and he wanted to see if he could help me without charge. He was able to get all the scratches off my car with a liquid within 10 minutes, and when I asked him what I owed, he said there was no charge considering it was a quick fix. I thought this was an expensive problem, but this Sherrill's associate was honest and helpful. Because of this experience, I will be a loyal customer, and will recommend them to anyone in need of work on their vehicle.

Took my 10-year-old car in after it got side-swiped - there was a small dent above the front driver's side wheel + some scrapes. A really nice employee (I'm sorry I didn't get your name!) wiped the paint from the scrapes off with paint thinner and explained that while he could technically charge me $400 to fix the dent, he wasn't comfortable doing it because it wouldn't make a difference when I go to sell the car. He didn't charge me for wiping the paint in the scrapes off, either. The car looks a million times better even without the dent fixed and I don't feel like I was taken advantage of. Next time I need body work, I'll definitely take it to Sherrill. Thank you!!

I was told by the gentleman originally giving the estimate on my Toyota Tacoma truck that replacing the left rear light accembly would require rewiring thus the high labor cost. After so many great reviews I wanted to give this place a shot. I came in asking for quote and afterwards was given the option to have the quote e-mailed to me. I waited for a week with nothing arriving in my inbox. So I called the shop and spoke with the gentleman who evaluated my car and he tells me that he misplaced the paper work for the quote. So he offers to come to my job to perform the inspection again. He comes to my job as promised and tells me he will get the quote to me right away and apologizes. It's been close to two months now and lets just say I'm still waiting for the quote. If it's this difficult to get a quote I can only image the all around service of this business. In a day and age when mediocrity is the norm for businesses, it's refreshing to encounter an operation that's dedicated to quality work and complete customer satisfaction. Such is the case with Sherrill Paint and Body Co. I took my wife's 2 year old Beemer to this shop when a fallen tree damaged it during Katrina. At the time, the company's owner was a man named Rahj. They did a great job in restoring the car to it's original state. Unfortunately, after a number of years, the clear coat started to peal on the roof and the hood faded. I brought the car back recently for an assessment. It was then that I met the new owner, Tad Lidikay. After assessing the repaired areas and reviewing the documentation I provided, Tad had no hesitation in stating that "they would make it right". And he did. He re-prepped and re-painted the entire roof and hood on the car at no charge. My wife and I are delighted with the beautiful job they did. Obviously, Tad is committed to building a highly satisfied customer base, one customer at a time. Needless to say, he's got my business.
