I brought my car in for leaking concerning the air conditioning on last Thursday and they still have not finished with my car today is Wednesdays and they still haven't finished my car. The Tech told me that they put my parts on another car which was the same make and model as mines. I am very disappointed I have used you all before and had no problems I don't know what's going on.
My husband and I set out to find the perfect vehicle. We are getting older and wanted something comfortable and also stylish ..And there it was,

Service writer very pushy concerning the free oil change program.
I almost mentioned that I would not be a return customer.
The oil change is not totally free.. you have to buy a service to get the oil change free.. like your tires have to be rotated for $19.95 or an cabin air filter for $65.00
If I didn’t have to bring the car here for the warranty, I wouldn’t go. They are always busy, and they never provide a rental when they keep the car for a week. I have spent over $500 on rental cars while they have yet to figure out what’s wrong with the engine. They no longer provide free wiper blades also. The people are nice enough.
Awesome experience!!! I had to take my Genesis in due to the paint starting to chip. Mr. Pickle (Service Manager) took ownership of the situation. He worked with my schedule to get my vehicle back to the body shop as well as providing me a loaner vehicle for the duration I was without my vehicle.
I'm very pleased with this location! They didn't stop until they found out what was wrong with my car. Most dealership will push u off but not Jim burke.....I appreciate everyone for helping me, being patience and really taking time out to make sure my needs were met. Again, Thank you!
Oil change and tire rotation, dropped off, prompt call and pick up.
Went for recall on oil system. Signal bulb replacement.
Left shop turn left using signal worked find use it again it was rapidly flickering as before and dash light warning was back on.
Called to report left message. No return call yet. Made appt. For an oil. Couldn't get for 3weeks

The people here do a really good job. The service tech explained everything that needed to be done to my car and told me how much it would cost. They offer a local shuttle and the waiting room was clean and comfortable. Prices were kinda high, just like all other car dealerships. Would recommend them to anyone.
Good luck with parking. Other than that, employees are very friendly and attentive. Layout as far as parts and service is kindof confusing if you've never been there before.
My eldest cousin Robert Bell and his beautiful bosses took really great care of me.i am extremely happy with their professionalism and expertise. I will keep referring people there that deserve a wonderful experience as I have!!!!
Easy no pressure hassling.. Took a little too long to get everything through but other than that the people were excellent to work with.
Very frustrating experience. Maybe it's just Jeep dealerships in general. I'm having transmission issues, after being to every other Jeep dealership in Birmingham they said they were a few weeks behind but Burke said they were only a couple of days behind. So I took my vehicle there last week on a Thursday. The guy in the service shop was nice and said it'd be Monday at the latest they could get it checked. I said that's no problem I'm a salesman I can work from home for a day or so. Monday rolls around and no call, so I call them. He keeps saying that as soon as he knows something he'll let me know. It's now Thursday and still no vehicle. They won't rent a vehicle for me because they say if it's not under warranty then I'll be charged for the warranty vehicle. Ok, then freaking take a look at it and let me know if it's under warranty! It has taken a week and still the vehicle hasn't even been looked at to see if it's under warranty. It's a joke. Don't say you'll look at it by Monday if you have no intention of doing so. And if you're the one holding it up then give me a freaking rental car, you're making me lose money.
Edit from previous post: Matthew was very courteous. The transmission issues are intermittent so my worry came true, it couldn't e replicated. It's a good thing I didn't rent that car because it did take a week just to get it looked at. Matthew was nice and probably did the best he could. 6.5 out of 10.
Like A kid in a candy store.
I bought my truck in 2017 with a “lifetime” free oil change and windshield wiper replacement plan. I went today and oil change was free but they said they had cancelled wiper replacement program. Is that right? No it’s not. Have never had any other problems but I think that’s wrong.

Great sales reps that work for you and do everything possible to make sure you have a great buying experience. They have a great deal of lenders that they work with making buying a car simple and easy. They don’t sugarcoat it and they do what they say. Great people and great buying experience! Before you go with someone else, do your homework and give them a shot.
Had my part there and no one called just sitting their, it's just I had to call them and find out my parts for my recall was their, which they told me that they would contact me when the part was in. Other wise they are ok.
We are on our second vehicle from this dealership. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is the fact we always get the new salesperson. Of course they tried to get far more for the vehicle than we were going to pay. But we always leave with a good deal. I have to mention their great service department is my number one reason for buying from Jim Burke.
They left my car out of the rotation in error and tried to mislead me that they had cars left from the day before ahead of me. My question to anyone that would use this service department is why are they making appointments if they're backed up. They gave me an 8am appointment knowing they were backed up. Why not schedule customers another day? Are they that bad on scheduling or do they have a lack of respect for customers time?
I had a great experience with the Jim Burke used cars. My salesman Donald Harris was very professional and courteous. This was my first experience but it will not be my last. I bought a 05 Camry with low mileage and rides like it just came out off the assembly line. I will most definently be back for future purchases!
I can't say enough about the awesome staff in the Jim Burke Hyundai service department. Rusty has been very attentive to my automotive needs. When there was a way to hold the manufacturer's accountable for repairs associated with their recall, the service manager had no problem going to bat for me. Although my first impression of this establishment was not a good one, my final impression is the one that REALLY COUNTS! I feel so blessed that these were the guys: Rusty, Eddie and Justin that tended to my 2013 Hyundai Sonata and me when my car just STOPPED RUNNING on the interstate. It took about a month to get my car fixed right, but I am proud to say we are on the road again!!!

Specifically Mr.Brian Christopher, stand up sir and give yourself a paid vacation day pat on da back.i was a very disgruntled customer with little understanding skills,just plain impatient and ignorant. I came to get my engine serviced, he got me the loaner within a regionally exceptional time frame, and yes, the engine is great. He provided essential information in terms we could understand.he was more than patient with me as well as proactive in the middle of a pandemic where customer satisfaction is a lost art. I appreciate your flawless service and you didnt even seem as if you were trying. It just was you....

I had a recall on my Jeep Patriot. The service was excellent, they came and picked my vehicle from my apt and informed me of the work completed in a timely manner. I’m going to pick it up now.

It was ok but I couldn't make a deal. They asked for too much down. They lured me over saying they wanted to buy back my Subaru Forester. The letter they sent said they would put me in a newer model and I would be paying the same monthly payments. But that wasn't true. They wanted the car and $2500. down. I got a chance to win $5000 and $10 Target gift card. I was told I didn't win the $5000 but I got to keep the gift card. No big deal but that was ok.
I once provided a pretty negative review of Jim Burke for Sales and Service. I'd like to amend (replace) that review with this one. (FYI - I have only dealt with Subaru sales and service)...
Service (5 stars): John Cruse helped me during my most recent visit to the service department and I can't say enough good things about him. He listened to understand, told me what was going to happen, explained things well, and did everything with a great attitude. He even gave me a ride to work (only a few blocks, but it was raining) b/c the normal shuttle person was already out. He went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. I will ask for John every time I call from now on.
Sales (1 star): The one salesman I encountered here soured me on the dealership. He was dishonest, talked down to me, and he even trash-talked another salesman so that I would work with him instead.
Jessie Leanord helped me get into a brand new vehicle I had zero faith he could. He's very professional and consistent. I recommend everyone to specifically ask for him bc he goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy and making the best decision for your lifestyle I was an expert on my vehicle before I left. Jim Burke should give this man an award for outstanding customer service!
This review is based on the very first impression. So far, this is the best Dodge dealership service I have come across in the Birmingham area. Others have proven to not give two flying sh*ts about you as a customer if you haven't bought a car with them. This place, however, treated me and my car in a polite and professional manner regardless if I bought the car from them or not. I will definitely go back for oil change when the time comes, even if I have to drive an hour. If you have a Dodge and you are not from around the area or Alabama in general, go to them. Trust me, it's a better customer experience than Anniston or Pell City dealerships will give you by a mile.
While in the middle of a 1000 mike road trip, my oil light came on, I was a quart low. I called and spoke with Brian and he told me to bring it on in since I was close. He met me on the service drive and we could smell burned oil. Brian got me back on the road and let me know what steps to take with my home dealership as well as letting me know what to expect from the process. As a single lady traveling alone it was so refreshing to show up at an unfamiliar dealership and have the service person treat me with respect. Brian was courteous and informative. Great job, Brian! Thank you!
Service was excellent all employees were polite,, courtesy, most of all very helpful. Will be returning to work on my vehicle again. Go Jim Burke, my father purchased quite a few vehicles from this dealership in the 70 and 80.
Service Department was great. Got me in letting me know that it would be 3-4 hours to check and repair. Couldn't ask for better service and friendly adviser. Would definitely recommend. I was also from out of town.

1st time there and was not sure of why cars are sitting in the lane with emergency blinkers on. I sat there for 40 minutes thinking I was in line for service. I was afraid to leave my car in middle of street with emergency blinkers to ask for fear of getting a ticket. Finally a lady came out I asked her and she explained the procedure. Also, no bathroom in customer waiting room. Wished they would have explained procedure when I made the appointment. Once inside, nice people.

I bought a used 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie from here and the day after, I had to take it back to them to fix A/C issues and a simple thing like the door lights that we’re going out. First rainy day, I now have discovered a water leak in the back window. Buyers beware, they fix as little as they can to sell and leave you to figure out what else is wrong. Good thing here is they are willing to help fix the issues. Will update post after dealership decides how it’s going to fix the water leak. I just want the truck to operate normally; is this so much to ask?

I’ve had mixed experiences here. When looking for a car, my husband and I were completely ignored when we walked into the showroom. The sales people looked up from their desks, but made no effort to help us, so we left and bought our car from someone else.

I was just dropping someone off to pick up a car. It was almost closing and there was some confusion. My friend was asked, "How much did they tell you it would be?" My friend responded, "I don't know." To which the service representative said, "Well I hope I got it right." That's weird at more than one level. It just felt unprofessional.

Omg the wait is usually long but they got me in and thank God in less than a hour. The staff is very friendly well most lol and if you don't want to wait especially if you're looking at more than a hour wait time they will get you home.
