I’ve used Christian Brothers twice in the last couple of months, and I couldn’t have asked for a better shop to take my vehicle to. You feel very welcomed from the first moment you step into their office. The entire team that I’ve had the pleasure working with, was extremely professional, and polite. You can tell the customer service is very important to them, and that’s something to be admired and appreciate it. Both times they gave me a ride home, and picked me up when the car was ready. They kept in touch with me throughout the whole process. First time I just needed an oil change; the second time it required more extensive work. They gave me a quote, and did not derail from it like other shops might do when they see a female. No, they did not pay me to write this review…lol - but it almost sounds like. Actually, this is my first review …EVER I realized that people are more inclined to write bad reviews when they are not satisfied with the service vs. writing positive reviews when are. This is the only place I’ll be talking my vehicle to get it repaired from now on. There are the best at what they do 😊

I scheduled an appointment to brake lights working. They were ready for me when I got there and they were finished in 30 minutes. This was not a big job but it was treated like one. I was impressed by everyone. All the staff was friendly and everyone was smiling. I have some other maintenance needs in the near future and I will be going to Christian Brothers to get it done. It was the best auto experience I have had since I started driving in 1970.

The entire process was wonderful. I was surprised how quickly they completed the repairs given how busy they are. They are so efficient and organized and sent texts with real time notifications to keep me updated as to the status of the repairs. They handled everything with the warranty company AND they saw I had a nail in one of my tires and plug it for free as a courtesy. I will be recommending them to all my friends and family.

They absolutely the best. My husband always took care of car problems, now that I don’t have him to that anymore I have to depend on a truthful mechanic, and sometimes that is not easy to find. First time customer and I used a special offer for an oil change. I appreciate they didn’t try to sell me on other ‘needs’ and no hidden fees. Very clean waiting area, fast service and friendly staff who weren’t condoscending to me, being a female when I asked questions. Hopefully, I can get more specials so I can be a repeat customer.

I found out that everything that I needed done with my car was not covered under my warranty. As I cried in their office they did nothing but comfort me and assure me that everything was going to be okay. This team has got to be one of the best that I've ever worked with if not THE BEST. My husband and I took our vehicle to the Chalkville Mountain location to have the front headlight bulbs replaced and it was such a pleasant experience! When my husband wanted a cup of coffee he didn't have to serve himself; the young man at the desk prepared and brought it to him! The estimated service time was an hour but they were done in 35 minutes! If you ever need a good and reliable auto service center I highly recommend these folks!

I can’t say enough good things about this company, the employees and the owner. I told them how dire my situation was. I honestly don’t know what all they did to the car, but it runs better than it has since we bought it 6 months ago. They fixed it in a day and blessed us with affordable pricing. I am not sure about past owners, but the establishment has been purchased by someone else a week ago, to my understanding. I had a bad vacuum leak and took it to them. There is a fee for checking the issues had, but that is fair. They fixed the issue with the vacuum and my truck is better. I had them check my front end suspension as well and will be returning to get it repaired by them. The owner and other employees were very considerate and friendly. I felt like they cared about getting me where I needed to be with my truck. Again, I have never use this place before, but the new guys are awsome.

The people at Christian Brothers were extremely kind and helpful in person & over the phone, their customer service is excellent. I went in to get my alternator changed, a couple belts replaced, spark plugs, that kind of thing. It appeared to be fixed and then the next day I turned my car off and a belt kept running for about 20 minutes, I had to turn the actual battery to turn the entire car off & this has never happened. I took it back the next day, they put 100 miles on the car & someone said they couldn't get it to do it again, then someone else told me that they did get it to do it again but that it was fine & that they had checked everything. As soon as I left, the check engine light turned on. I feel sad that we spent $1600 and the car feels in worse condition than when I brought it in. When I let them know that the check engine light was on, he told me to bring it back in because it could have been 20 or 30 different things which didn't sound great considering I had it at their shop the day before, but I understand if they maybe missed something. They are definitely kind people, maybe a little expensive. Ultimately I did not bring it back because I felt the same situation would keep happening but I wish them well and hope this helps someone!

They listened to the problem I was having with my vehicle and told me about the diagnosis process. All my life I thought shops just hooked it up to a machine and fixed it but they showed me the value in the professionalism in the technicians ability to hand test the components in my car and fix it from there! They are very reasonable on prices considering the Nice Difference they give with repairs!! While I was waiting on my vehicle to get fixed a young gentleman gave me a ride home for free.... I was amazed at that kind gesture! He even ran me through the jacks drive through where I could pick up dinner for my wife and children. They are so helpful!! Horrible Horrible experience staff member was rude and attacked me and my vehicle verbally for no reason when i only was asking for information concerning my vehicle, instead he tells me that i dont owe anything and to come get my truck out of thier shop, I dont feel the cost that was incurred currently matches the amount of little work that was done nor the appalling customer service that i was given. And i tried to give them another chance and they didnt succeed nor instill any confidence in me that they would. In this time of man having no natural affection for others, you get to a point of not knowing whom you can trust when you are out in the world. I trust Luke and his fine team at Christian Brothers Automotive Trussville. The have taken care of my car since they first opened this location, and I have never been disappointed. My second time coming here, both times they could fix my problems without a waiting a month! Had my brakes done last time and they did great! They get I freak out if I cant SEE my truck! This time it's steering, going and stopping were great but turning was a problem. Of course they are super friendly and very quick but today’s experience just a prime example of price gouging. They quoted me $780 for a repair that the dealership could repair for $400 (o2 sensor). When I declined and explained suddenly the price drops to $403 plus the diagnosis. When I reviewed their invoice they still charged $326 for an o2 sensor that I could have and should have purchased at advance auto next door for $185. Additionally, if you quote $403 why did I end up getting charged for shop supplies? Shouldn’t that have been included in that quote? We actually really liked dealing with them and they have helped us before but obviously the almighty dollar has become more important to them than making customers happy. Will not return! UPDATE! While I realize in my last post that I swore I would never return, Luke sent a $200 store credit to me based on our last experience. This morning, I dropped off my 2013 Flex for an oil change. Within 10 minutes of dropping the truck off I received a text to inform me it was taken back for service. Within another 15 minutes, I received a text to inform me their courtesy inspection was complete. Overall we got an excellent vehicle report but needed a new battery (corrosion) and needed a tire rotation and alignment. After speaking with James, we went over any issues on the truck and he worked up a price for the needed repairs. After all was said and done, rotation, alignment, new battery and oil change cost only $224 which was lower than the original quote and all was complete in a matter of two hours. Great job Luke, James and the Christian Brothers Team. Thanks for honoring your word and taking care of us.

Well let me tell you: - Christian owned and operated. - Carrying the specific product I wanted for my repair need (Interstate Batteries, also a Faith-based company.) Honest and fair pricing! - No price gouging or added costs. - Friendliness, professionalism, experience, knowledge, informative and efficient. Technically focused in communicating with the customer. Text updates of the work being done. Pictures included in some cases. - Pleasant and clean appearance of the facilities, grounds, customer waiting area and office. You feel comfortable in the environment and surroundings. No blaring, obnoxious TV in the customer waiting area! - Overall, a great experience at Christian Brothers Automotive. Nothing negative about it. - If only the majority of automotive repair businesses followed the same business model as Christian Brothers does, having to get your car repaired would be a much less stressful thing to have to go through.- Job well done, Christan Brothers! Called there to see if they could help me with a couple of things on my car that are very minor. Also called a little after 3 pm on a Friday afternoon so I gave them no notice. Very friendly on the phone they told me to bring it down. It got looked at almost immediately with everyone willing to help and all had great attitudes. I am very picky with this car and they treated it as if were their car. Got in and out quick with both items addressed and repaired and at a very reasonable price. I am beyond pleased with everything about this shop. Very clean too! I have 2 other cars in the family and one is due for service now so I’m going to get it in next week. You won’t be disappointed.

I was RECOMMENDED by a close friend to bring my car here for service. They do a great job of selling you on the ASE certified technicians and warranty and quality of service. But the experience I had was totally different. The owner is a very arrogant individual who likes to try to talk over his customers and make accusations. I had to bring my truck back 3 times for the same issue. Wasted time and money that I ca. n never get back. I would not reccomend doing business at this establishment. You want to go where they value your business I didnt feel valued at all. I will never recommend this place to anyone. This was all turned around by a fine gentleman who made it his business to make sure I was treated fairly in the end. Jason went above and beyond to make up for lost time by not only fixing the issue but offering me a 2 year warranty to give me the piece of mind I needed to recommend this company. I am very pleased with the end result and would highly recommend this shop.

From the minute I walked in, the experience was much different than most auto repair shops..it was very clean, the staff was extremely helpful and the Christian music playing while I waited was very peaceful. When I left, they had left a bottled water and a nice thank you card on my dash. They very friendly, efficient and highly skilled. Actually the intake associate figured out what was going on with my 2014 Infiniti QX60, randomly wouldn't start. He looked in the fuse box under the hood close to the driver's side dashboard and there was a disconnect. Plugged it in and problem solved. I didn't require a tech, so I didn't have to pay (AWESOME). Infiniti service center in Hoover, AL wanted to charge me $160 for diagnostic fees, I took my vehicle to Christian Brothers in Trussville and will take it to them from now on. Great job guys!

I purchased 4 tires and a front alignment on 2/21/2018 for my 2014 F150. James, my service writer gave me a great quote and got me scheduled in quickly. Romaldo was my service tech and he did a fantastic job with the tire change and alignment. They made sure to get the alignment as close to perfect as possible and gave me a detailed explanation of the adjustments. My truck rides smooth and steady now. June 10 2021 Provide excellent service. After an accident and the collision center took car to another auto repair center to repair mechanical problems. I picked up car from collision center following all repairs body and mechanical. Had a noise when I drove the repaired car. Took the car to Christian Brothers for them to evaluate. They found several other mechanical components damaged from the accident. Christian Brothers repaired. No noise drives great. Thanks Christian Brothers for you trustworthiness and reliability Oct 2020. Went to Christian Brothers on Monday Oct 12 2020 to have a service and inspection on our 2014 Avalon. As always Christian Brothers staff very professional and competent. It is great to know you can take your car to Christian Brothers in Trussville and know you can trust in their work and advice on any recommended needed repairs. Thanks Christian Brothers of Trussville October 2019 went to CB to have some work done on our 2014 Avalon. called me and recommended I have my transmission fluid flushed. I knew it probably was due but I was hesitant at first because I did not want to pay the added cost. Finally I said to please take care. Christian Brothers sent me a picture of the old and new fluid. Glad they called me and recommended the service. In the pic you could see the fluid was dark and worn from the heat and use. Nothing worse than being pound foolish and penny wise, meaning waiting til later to service, and blowing the transmission because I didn't want to pay the cost to flush and replace the fluid. Thanks CB and Joe for calling and recommending the service. I am sure it saved me the cost of a replacement transmission down the road. As far as price they are fair and reasonable. Obviously the person, Blankenship, who reviewed previously and talked about price gouging. has no gone to a dealer to often. I have taken mine previously all the years to the Toyota dealer and they charge an arm and leg and for every little thing. I never had any refund from a dealer from anyone to include when they did a poor job and I pointed out. Blankenship you are fortunate. I took in my 2011 Ram 1500 for a head gasket repair. They completed the work in the time frame that was quoted and within the cost estimate. They were a little higher than other shops, but the warranty is well worth the incredibly small difference. They even drove me home after dropping off my vehicle which was 40 miles away! The young man that drove me home was professional and courteous and offered great conversation on the way home. The entire team was friendly and welcoming. I had a few minor issues after the main repair that were addressed promptly and professionally. I would highly recommend this shop for your repairs both minor and major!

I had to take my car in to be fixed a couple days ago, and even though it was a big job and my whole dash had to be taken out, among other things, it was ready to be picked back up the same day. I went to get my tires rotated and balanced (i really needed an oil change too) after speaking with Joe, I decided to go ahead and get an oil change too. He was so nice about adding additional stuff especially so close to closing. They stayed a few minutes after for me. It helped me out SO much. I can't say enough good things about this place! They also take pictures of things that need replaced etc. They showed me a picture of my rear brakes so I could see what he was referring to. Joe said I needed to get them replaced asap. So, I got them replaced (my husband did them) and he was definitely right!!! The brake pads were so thin. I definitely will be going back to them!

Christian Brothers Automotive in Trussville is truly a great shop! I had an extremely difficult to diagnose issue with my truck, and instead of just throwing on some new parts that might have fixed it (and me spending a lot of unexcessary money that might not address the real issue), their excellent technician spent the time trying to find the root cause, which he was successful at. It ended up saving me thousands of dollars that nearly any other shop would have welcomed me to spend, all while not fixing the root cause. This was my first time using them, and all I can say is how great the experience was. And on top of how skilled the technicians were, the entire staff that I dealt with was very kind. The shop owner, Luke, was a great guy. I would highly recommend them for all your auto needs. I won’t be taking my trick anywhere else.

When the AC stopped working in my car I took it to another repair shop in Trussville. I asked them to do a dignostic check. Sure they said for $59.99; no problem I said. They then came back to me and said I had no compressor fan belt, so we replaced that. This did not work, so they said I MIGHT need a new compressor and that this would cost $1300; to which I said no. Well, I was feeling very upset, because I could not afford to fix the whole compressor. I did a few searches and found Christian Brothers Automotive. They too said they could do a dignostic check for $59.95; no problem but I need to know exactly what the problem is I said. They told me after a few minutes that I probably only need a new belt and tensioner for $320, so I said OK. That fixed the problem completely! It only took a couple hours and I appreciate how they texted me at each step along the way (for example, your technician is starting to look at your car, your technician has all the parts he needs and is beginning to work on your car or your car is ready for pick up now). Finally, I also like the 3 years or 36,000 miles which ever comes last warranty. In conclusion, I am a big fan of Christian Brothers Automotive and will be a repeat customer. I would recommend them without question or hesitation.

I had a problem with a vehicle that eluded 3 other automive diagnostic entities - including a dealer of the vehicle. Christian Brothers took on the challenge and came thru with success for me. They correctly identified the real problem and corrected it - unlike previous incorrect diagnosis by others. They verified the failed component before replacing it - eliminating the "guess factor" that I had experienced prior to finding them. One of the things I really liked was that they listened to me about the symptoms I observed and asked questions to capture the best picture of the problem.
