I went to this location with two dead batteries. They charged them in one hour for free! Also, they were very helpful and patient with everyone that walked in and even found a moment to be kind to my four-year-old son. They were very busy despite being fully staffed. Part of the reason they were so busy is that they were giving great customer service. Two of the employees were helping customers at there cars in the parking lot, while three more were at the registers and a couple more in the back working. It was nice to have this level of staffing and professional service. Keep it up!

Absolutely wonderful! I wish I had gotten the names of the two guys in the front who helped us out because they are incredible nice, patient, and are willing to help asking for nothing in return! If you are like me and know nothing about cars this is the place to go!

The business I work for has a commercial account with AutoZone and orders parts through this location. If you work in this industry you know that parts stores aren’t always operating at the level that your local parts supplier would. This is not the case at this location. Their staff are friendly, helpful and go above and beyond on every job. We have been blown away with how exceptional the quality of their service is and the efficiency and care of their employees shows every time our paths cross. On top of everything the larger inventory is a huge asset and allows for much wider availability for locally stocked parts. 10/10!

I really needed a drivers side wiper blade and I went by this Greensprings store as it was very early in the morning and they are open 24 hours thank goodness and it was pouring rain and my wiper had just disintegrated into pieces. Mike showed me the options ; I picked out a good one he recommended and I swear he had it on my car in less than 10 seconds. The girl at a different store took over 5 minutes trying to put the blade on last time. I guess that’s the difference in someone who knows what they’re doing and someone who doesn’t. Thank you Mike you made my day a lot easier and I am so relieved that I can now see to drive 😜 🚙 ♥️

Nobody loves buying a new battery. It’s just not one of those things you look forward to. Today, I found myself in the unfortunate position of needing one. I called the nice and shiny and new spot down the street, we’ll call them “Bep Poys.” Told them that if I shut my car off, the battery would die. Needed to know not if I could, but where I needed to park to get some assistance. Was told nonchalantly that I would need to make an appointment for the next day. The next closest place was this Autozone. The lady in the photograph below is Michelle. She’s been with the company for coming up on 8 years. She has made what I expected to be a frustrating experience, painless and joyful. Who knew the highlight of an already pretty good day would be the customer service at an Autozone. Thanks Michelle. I’ll be back.

I had a problem with my car, I went inside and told the salesman the issue I was having. He brought his toolbox out to my car and made some adjustments to my battery which I was having the issue with. He told me to start my engine a couple times so he could make sure everything was ok. It started up fine, he didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need, didn't charge me for the help either or for his time. He was a very nice man, I thanked him for his help and went on my way.

I needed a new battery and turns out it takes more than a crescent wrench to get one out these days. Tyrone greeted me at the register and I explained the problem. He gave me my options, then went to taking the old battery out. That man worked his hands to the bone with a smile and pleasant conversation the entire time. Getting that battery replaced looked like quite the ordeal, but Tyrone handled it extremely professionally. I hope he sees this just so I can thank him again. Next time I'm at Autozone, I'll request him if he's there.

Amazing workers and care! Mr. King, I believe is the general manage of the store - He is amazing. He showed me how to change my own headlights and clean them!! He even took pictures of me to send to my mom! I have never felt more taken care of while dealing with my car. Mr. King took the time to take me out into the freezing cold and take care of my car while being sure to explain exactly what he was doing so if I ever had to do it by myself, I did it correctly. This place is great and you will not be disapointed!!

Bitter sweet as there was one person who was a female that was very knowledgeable and did her nest to help me. The men in the store could not or would not help. They use to help check your old which they say they no longer do, yet I saw the manager go out and assist another woman. I will try O'Reilly's next time.

Excellent experience at Auto Zone one Greensprings and Valley Ave in Homewood. Everyone masked. Hand Sanitizer at the door. Distancing enforced. Extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. They even brought me better tools to help me remove and replace my battery - in the rain. No reason to go anywhere else.

Last night when me and my husband were out our car wouldn't start. We called AAA and they told us we needed a battery. It was almost 11 pm and we knew this location was open until 12 so we hustled from Pelham to Homewood. I can't remember this guys name but he was out there in the cold for over an hour to install our battery. I can't thank this young man enough for getting that battery in our car. He had to take some things loose just to remove it and it was almost time for the store to close.

I didn’t catch everyone’s name who helped me but crew working the Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving saved me!! I was turning from Valley Ave onto Greensprings and my car pooped out. The power steering stopped, dash lit up, radio stopped. I saw the Autozone and was able to pull in panicked. The guys who helped me were so wonderful! They helped me figure out it was the alternator, they got my battery charged and I was able to make it home safely with an alternator ready for my husband and dad to put in. Went here for a second opinion about my VW Passat rear lights. After being told by a well known mechanic shop that it would cost me a 150 dollars to replace. The gentleman that helped me at this location took a total of 20 minutes to figure out and replace two bulbs. I'm sorry I didn't get your name. Thanks for your honesty and knowledgeable service.

We were broke down and from Kentucky, we were traveling in our RV. The alternator went out and this Auto Zone was very accommodating, they had one in Stock and they also charged my battery for me. And the kicker was we are AAA RV premier card holders and they were not able or even willing to help us. So we are so grateful for this store and the people whom work there. ALWAYS Top Notch customer service at this location! Well stocked with just about anything that the "shade tree" mechanic or moonlighting pro could possible need. And IF they don't have it in stock, they usually will have it by end of the day. Next morning fer sure! This used to be the ONLY 24 Hour Auto Parts place in the Tragic City. But, alas, the crime has finally caught the attention of the AZ Execs so they now close, 8?, 9?, 10 maybe? NICE selection of the harder to find "motorcycle" related fluids, bulbs and such. Prices are generally in-line with WallyWorld prices for the same items IF Wally even carries it in the first place.

I was leaving work around10pm on 7/7/17 and was told I had a taillight out so I ran down to AutoZone since their open late. When I walked in they were a little busy but was still asked if they could help. He looked up my part number quickly. I bought my truck 6mo ago and had no idea the screws for the housing were stripped. I mentioned this in passing and after checking me out Christian, who's nametag I think said is the parts manager, came outside and helped me with my problem and eventually fixed my taillight. I couldn't believe it! Above and beyond service. Thank you Christian, I really appreciate ya!

These guys were so incredibly helpful today. They tested our alternator and battery, sold me a new battery, installed that battery, retested my alternator, and we were out the door in less than 20 minutes. And that was in the middle of lunch rush at noon. If only this interaction had taken place in the Tokyo Dome, they would have gotten 7 stars.
