I bought a used engine from Handers and it ran very good. The engine was very clean with the complete harness on it. The salesman went out of his way to meet me there on a Saturday morning to pick it up on my way back to Williston ND. Tom went and did a recovery tow for my vehicle. It was stolen on the 13th and it was found abandoned in middle of the highway at the Toluca Interchange in Big horn County on the 17th. Tom went and picked up my vehicle and brought it back to Billings and dropped it off at my place of residence. He was very professional and polite. Thank you Tom and also thank you to the gentleman that I talked to, to get everything set up to recover my vehicle and bring it back home to me. You all rock at Hanser's.

My car broke down on my way to Fargo for a funeral. Harvey was my driver, he showed up got my car loaded quickly onto the rollback and delivered it safely. Even brought me to enterprise so I could get my rental replacement! I will highly recommend Hansers and if I ever need a tow again I'll ask for Harvey. I've never in my life had such a positive experience with a mechanics shop! They are honest and caring. They checked my everything and fixed the warranted part. They went above and beyond. Seriously if I have the option and necessity, I will be back. I have no complaints. My heart was full and happy as I was leaving which I've never experienced for a shop. Coffee and hot cocoa. When you get stuck in a unfamiliar town and you know no one, you need to rely on references. Hansers was one company that we were told to call. Great service! Called via AAA and they showed up in two hours, which was my only gripe. The lady on the phone estimated me an hour and it took twice that. Other than that, the tow man was very friendly and he got there to the destination just after we did in our second car, so it was great overall!

Outstanding! Repaired our U bracket on the trailer axle so we didn't need to be towed. Performed emergency replacement of our overheated and smoking wheel. Got our trailer back to us the same day so we didn't need to spend the weekend dry camping in their parking lot. Checked all the other brakes to make sure we were safe. Great customer service! You just don't see service and quality like this very often.

Needed my Ford Super Duty towed after a breakdown. They were extremely professional and prompt. Pulled and re-installed the driveshaft so it could be towed properly. Have had other towing companies pull trucks backwards with the old "loop the seatbelt over the steering wheel" trick. These guys did it right.

Fantastic help in the middle of the night miles from Nowhere. Hit a large deer with out truck and trailer and these fantastic guys towed us on their amazing flatbed truck and towed our trailer. Dropped us off at hotel, stored our trailer and dropped our truck off at the Chet dealer and put the keys in the drop box while we were at the hotel. Couldn’t have asked for better service.

Our motorhome wouldn't start and we spent all day calling mobile services trying to get it fixed. We couldn't get that done and turned to Hansers to tow our motorhome the next day to their facility for repair. The KOA park wasn't happy with our breakdown and was putting alot of pressure on us to move. Once we called Hansers they hopped right on it and had is moved by noon. The tow truck driver was phenomenal. Once we arrived the mechanic in charge met up with us. 2 other mechanics came out and started working on it right away. They put a diagnostic machine on it and identified the problem which they fixed right away. We honestly thought we would have to leave the motorhome and head home in our tow rig, and fly back later once it was fixed. Thank you so much for spending the time with us and supplying fantastic customer service. We are on the road again.

Hello I want to say thanks to Riley and Cody for getting me out of a jam broke down on I 94 outside Forsyth MT. On Feb 5th. They were very personable, polite in setting up my tractor and trailer for towing to Billings for service. Tractor drive shift was frozen totally encrusted in salt, rust and dirt. It wouldn't budge for removal. They didn't give up and finally did get it loose. Appreciate you guys for the rescue and your skills!!

We were stranded in Wyoming in our motor home. Insurance set us up with a tow from these guys. The driver called soon after and offered to go buy our tire and bring it to us to save us on the tow and a bunch of time. They swapped the rim and changed our tire right in the parking lot. Service was a rescue, semi trailer with a load on was sunk in the mud. Rear axle was buried. I think service man was Clint? Frozen mud had to be chipped from brakes and axles. He stayed as long as he could and then left two guys in a service truck to finish chipping. Very happy with this service

Hanser’s is your place for great customer service. We were moving so they let us park our car there until the transmission could be fixed. We knew our engine would need to be replaced at some point and were thinking of adding that on while the transmission was out. We didn’t need to call them though. They realized the same thing before doing the work and asked if we would like a quote to do it at the same time. Because our situation changed with cars, we ended up not doing either and should have been charged almost $100 for looking at it. Jerod wanted our service and even though we were moving they waived it without my asking. If I were staying here, we would continue to go to them. The service is worth it.

I had to get my Corvette towed to the dealership to get new keys programmed. They showed up earlier than scheduled and the three men that took the car were so extremely careful and amazing. With the car being so low to the ground they made sure that it didn’t scrape on anything. When I talked to the dealership they had said they were watching them unload it with the same cars they did while loading it. I was extremely impressed and so happy to see how much care they took with my car. I thought with it taking more time than expected that my bill from them would be on the higher end. Come to find out it was only about $10.00 more than what they originally quoted me (we had already talked it may be more depending on the work). Everything was fantastic all the way around. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a car towed and especially a high performance vehicle and I will be using them moving forward if I never need any of my vehicles towed. Sherry, the dispatcher, was upbeat, positive, accurate in giving us a worst-case scenario on towing cost for our 1983 Ford Tioga, which we couldn't restart after the engine stalled. She also gave us a very accurate time estimate. The final cost was about $250 less than her estimate, which is much better than $250 more. Nick, the tow truck driver and rescuer, was great. He arrived on time, assessed the situation, and did a great job of hitching up our 27 foot vehicle. He also let us ride in the truck, which was critical, because he had to tow us about 70 miles. Very few other options. He also expertly delivered our RV to the last available hook-up site at Hanser's in Billings. We are very grateful for the expert work.

We bought a new motor coach in North Carolina and traveled from Washington to there to pick it up. Long story short we had some mechanical issues within 400 miles of buying it. We were stranded in culvert Kentucky for a week while a service center there worked on it. The major fix was something we could do if we could just get it home so we decided to try to limp it. We made it about 1200 miles and ended up stranded on this two-lane highway (us212) In the middle of nowhere, Hammond Montana... I googled for a wrecker as our coach is every bit of 40 ft long and 31,000 lb. This company was the first one that came up so I called. Renee was beyond helpful and kind and dispatched not only a lowboy truck but also the support truck with lighted sign for oncoming driver's. So everywhere on a very narrow two-lane highway about midnight by the time they got to us as it was about 200 miles away for them to drive. They got us loaded up and on the way in a very timely manner. My husband and I rode and the support truck Zach for 200 miles to the Freightliner dealer. It was about 5:30 in the morning at this point and we just went to bed. The next morning we needed to go and get a rental car from the airport and Zack offered to pick us up and drop us off there when we were ready. This entire trip has been stressful & to have a company so confident, knowledgeable and kind was one less stress

We were stranded on the highway and were kept informed throughout the ordeal. For us this could have been an terrible experience that could have ruined our 2 months cross country trip. It was 2 days before Labor Day and they made all efforts to get us on the road before the holiday. Now we look at it as a blessing our 5th wheel broke down near Billings. I was driving home from college with my sister, a trip that was over 1100 miles long across country. My engine melted outside of Billings, and Hanser's was recommended to us by the kind folks who stopped by to help. Our tow driver, Joe, was extremely helpful, polite, and demonstrated excellent customer service. He helped us reserve a hotel room and even helped us unload our things from the car! We also received discounts on the tow bill and the hotel reservation, which is always a plus. I would definitely recommend Hanser's to anybody in a pinch; the people there are angels, and they helped us get home in one piece.

These guys were great. The one with the small rig stopped to check on us before we even called our towing needs in. Then he checked on us and let us know what was going 2 more times before a larger wrecker, he and traffic control unit showed up to tow us out. The entire tow was very professionaly done! Even though the tow was up a very steep bank with our snowmobile trailer in tow they kept us informed and at ease. There also was no damage to our vehicle or trailer. When done the smaller unit followed us to the motel to finish the paper work. JOB WELL DONE!! THANKS TO THE 3 HANSER'S EMPLOYEES!! The wait was just over 5 hours but the state patrol determines who is first as we were in a safe place and not blocking traffic. Several semis and autos before our tow weren't so lucky.

Thank God for Hanser's. We were moving our son from Washington to his new station in Florida when all of a sudden the fuel pump went out of the dodge. I called every number for towing that google provided. Only Hanser's agreed to come tow us. The lady on the phone was nice and very understanding. (We were completely unaware of where we were, MT around 6pm is like midnight where we're from). They did excellent hooking up the truck and uhaul. 5 miles down the road the uhaul tire blows out. Uhaul won't do anything but come change the tire but our tow driver helped us out by going back out for the uhaul. He towed us to a shop in Columbus MT who started first thing in the morning working to get us back on the road. My family is so grateful for the service we received from the Hanser's team. I bought replacement outside mirrors for my Dodge pickup and was told they would work the same as the original. They work fine until you flip them up while towing then the direction arrows on the control button are different. I was told that's just how they work and my original mirrors worked the same way. The originals don't work like that! I guess you get what you pay for so just be careful what aftermarket parts you buy from Hanser's.

Wow. I don't often take time to write reviews, but after yesterday's experience I feel like I must. Two months ago we had a blowout on our 39 ft fifth-wheel. Hanser's was sent out to fix it by our roadside assistance program. The jack was placed incorrectly and slightly bent part of the suspension system. We continued on to our summer campsite where my husband grew increasingly concerned about it. He stopped unannounced when we were driving back through Billings yesterday and spoke with the owner, Ralph Hanser. I was astounded. Mr Hanser made multiple phone calls to several shops and got opinions of people he considered more expert than he on this particular problem. He not only wanted to correct the problem at no cost, but insisted that it be done perfectly. As we live in Texas, he wasn't doing this for his word of mouth local reputation; he is simply a man who does business the old fashioned way. He stands behind his company's work. When I told him at the end of the day how impressed I was with his attitude and business, he gave us a quick tour of his large facility. Every building we entered was organized and spotless, another reflection On the way he runs his business. Cannot recommend Hanser's enough!

I recently found myself broken down 45 miles outside of Billings. We are a fleet sales group who transports specialty vehicles over 48 States and Canada and we have had 7 or 8 experiences with Hansers in over 30 years of moving vehicles. The tow truck arrived within an hour. They now have trucks in several cities along that route. My vehicle required a specialty alternator that they had is stock ! I was back on the road the next day by noon when in other parts of the country I would sometimes be stuck for three days waiting to get that special part. I see why the have grown so successful since I first used them in 1982. Safe, professional, very responsive to our needs and the price was very fair especially since we had prepared to leave the vehicle for days and they had it out in 4 hours. We will use them for towing or parts if we find ourselves in that part of Montana with a problem again.

It started out when I 'totaled' my car. They went to tow my car from the original location, paid me for the salvaged. I then noticed a car they had for sale, it was such an excellent price. Had my son-in-law take it for a test drive and he was also impressed with the condition. When I decided to buy it, Shaun Hanser said to wait a week or two and write down any possible defects it might have and he would take care of it. After 3 wks, I took it back in and they fixed it perfectly. That was going way out of the way for customer satisfaction. I would have absolutely no problem taking a car to them for repair. And to top it all off, they took me home and then came and got me after the repairs were done. WELL DONE HANSERS

Hanser's provided the 50 minute late-night tow from Levina of my Chevy Avalanche and a 31 ft camper. Courteous, excellent work. They also have automotive repair so I asked if they could fit my pick-up in first thing in the morning. They are a busy shop but they started first thing on my Avalanche replacing a fuel pump that died at 131k miles. Couldn't find better help on my 3000 miles camping trip. Thank you Hanser's!
