Really makes sure the customer is completely satisfied. Please keep him , if he leave I will follow. Best auto representative ever. He definitely deserves a bonus. Keep up the great work Jay!
A recall on the transmission cable bushing was needed. I’m a caregiver and need my vehicle 24/7. It was completed in just a couple hours and I was able to get back on the road. The serviceman was awesome. Pickup was easy. And therefore, the service was great!
Jay at Koons Ford (security) is the best service advisor ever! Really I should say the greatest! Kept me well informed about my vehicle! The mechanic that work on my vehicle is great! I must say that the staff is very professional! Jay and staff keeps me coming back! This is my second vehicle from Koons. I would advise anyone to go get your vehicle from Koons Ford! I was able to bring in and leave my vehicle earlier than it's scheduled appointment time. Which helped me out because of a change in my schedule. I was in constant communication with my service advisor David through text messaging which I was very pleased. By using this type of communication, I was able to give approval for some extra services that had to be handled. Thank You Koons Ford for everything.
I brought my truck in for a oil change , they did a great job as always . Koons ford service is the only place I take my truck . I been a customer since 2012. The hours are great with my schedule. The service person I always ask for Mr. Jay due to he understands the business and listen to you .
Mr Jay is very professional and will always call you with a service update on your vehicle. He is definitely an access to the company .
Great experience! Special shot out to Jay (Service Advisor). He always professional and goes out of his way to make sure the customer is good. He does the research to verify if you have a current warranty and request approval if the services warrants a rental. Jay is the Best!!!!
Melissa was very polite and respectful. I had a recall on my transmission cable. I was told that it would take about two hours, but it was done sooner. They also gave me a list of things that they went over so that I know what I needed to do in the future. I really love the service here.
I’m not sure what was done. I went in for my 10,000 miles check and I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance. There’s still no urgent care for the customer once you arrive. I stood inside for 3 minutes without being greeted and only 1 attendant was with a customer. It was no other customers in the service area. Once I did get noticed, the attendant was helpful. I waited 2 hours for the service. I asked for the shuttle service online. I’m just disappointed in this place. I didn’t even receive the car paper with the colors on it to let me know what was done and who helped me. They use to leave a business card stapled to it. My brakes have been squeaking since I purchased the car last year. The attendant did explain the noise and both attendants working were nice and friendly.
My experience at Koons Ford is always a very good one. They keep you informed about your car and what's going on. Some times your there longer then you intended, but to have your car running smoothly it's worth it.
It was a recall. It took most of the day. The appointment was 9:15 a.m. and I was finished by 3:30 p.m .
I was entertained by conversation with an interesting person also waiting. We watched the food channel while waiting. That was nice. Busy place that day. It's clean and friendly at Koons Ford.
Had a fantastic experience buying my truck there. Ammar was the best salesman I've ever worked with, and the entire team there were just the nicest and most helpful group of people. I never felt rushed or pressured. Would definitely recommend.
The alerts for my 4WD were engaging on the dashboard causing other alerts to pop up. This is happening far too often. The second time this year alerts have popes up within 6 months causing me to rent a vehicle for days. However, the service person John was extremely helpful.
It took nearly four months to get my car repaired as there was a waiting list for the required parts. At first, I would hear from Koons weekly. Then monthly. The final two months, I did not hear at all until they called to say that my car was ready for pick-up. Communications certainly could have been better.
I recently purchased a new vehicle from Koons of Baltimore and received the best all around service from them. My salesman Jake was very professional as well as the Sales Manager and Finance department. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to go see them
People were nice, didn't treat me like an idiot because I'm female. Car was done same day. More expensive repair than I would have liked, but that wasn't their fault and the price was fair. Second visit to this dealer for repairs (bought car at another Ford dealer, impossible to get service appts at that dealer). Would return for other visits that require dealer service.
The service technician and all other staff were very pleasant. The wait time was excessive for an oil change though. I had an appointment for 8:00 am but was not out of the service bay until after 11:00 am. This seems to void the need to make an appointment if you are going to wait hours in the end. Overall the experience was ok minus the wait.
The entire Koons Sales, Finance, and Service staff is 100% an example of professionalism at its utmost!!!! Even after the sale you’re not forgotten and you’re still treated like family. Mark and Jake in Sales, Steve in Finance, and Ben in Service are prime examples of what first class service is. We have and will continue to buy all of our vehicles from Koons in Catonsville!!!
Took my 2013 Ford Focus in for an appointment on the 29th of September because whenever I turned off the air conditioner or heat, I would hear knocking sounds. I had a lot of problems getting through to the service department by phone for the week and one day my car was being serviced. I needed updates on my car. I called, and called, and called from morning to evening for several days and no one answered. I got a recording from the service manager a few times, and left a message. I left a message for my service technician. She did eventually returned my call. No one should have to wait as long as I did for a return call. When I picked up car on October 7th, I paid at the desk, and waited for my car to be brought to me. When the young man got out of my car, I noticed plastic bags balled up on my passenger seat. I asked him if he could throw them in the trash. He told me they weren't his, they must have been mine. I had nothing on my seats when I brought my car in on the 29th. I was not happy, they were some plastic bags from their parts! I hope my next service experience will be a lot better.

Providing updates on the progression of your repairs, and inform you any recommedations the Technician finds. I also want to give a shout-out to Tech. Gary Servance. They were very professional. The mechanic David came and spoke to me and explained what was done. What was under warranty. Also he told me the truck was manufactured in Canada not in Michigan.
However the truck is experiencing some problems which the brakes but weren’t covered by the recall because it was made in Canada.
He suggested that I call Ford Motors and try to get the repair covered
Customer service is great and price very fair, however the amount of time it took was unacceptable. I was quoted 1.5hrs. It took almost 4hrs for oil change and tire rotation. I understand things come up but that was just way to long.
Melissa did a great job at being responsive, clearly communicating pricing and timelines, and I got my car back on time as promised. Work was conducted very professionally.
Went in for a recall service repair and that went well. At pick up just so happens an un related issue popped up out of the blue. The service manager Ben went out of his way to make sure to give me the truck back FULLY functional. The problem was fixed at no cost to me. Excellent service Koon's keep up the good work.

Always been treated good at Koons for auto repair and maintenance and I like that they does a muli point inspection and recommend services for your vehicle but they don't pressure you to get them
Needed fuel pump replaced on my 2018 F-150. Koons did a fantastic job. Jay was great and kept me well informed!

Not happy that my vehicle transmission was reprogrammed without my authorization. So, the vehicle does not accelerate the same as it did when I purchased it. Also, they no longer offer nitrogen tire inflation.
Otherwise, the service seemed okay.

I brought my old focus in for an intermittent shutoff issue. David in the service department was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He and the service team helped clarify the issue, and how we should handle it. They also went out of their way to not charge extra for unnecessary work. Overall a very positive experience.

Replaced the rear door lock mechanism and tailgate lock...I was upset my 1day job turned into a week and no vehicle loaner provided for me ....I'm ALWAYS being told they have no loaner ..but when I purchased this warranty it was SUPPOSED to be included. What happened to you getting your vehicle back clean,free of mechanics grease on the doors and everywhere else they touch .Noone cleans your vehicle nomore just give it back to you like that is exceptable. On top of that I received a letter quoting to offer me 91,000 to trade in my truck but when I take it there they tell me and 11,000 dollar difference in price. O mr.singletary we can give you 80,000 the market changed..(yeah ok).I'm going to get the 2024 f450 platinum I'm just not sure if I'm going to use koons again.....too many inconsistencies told to you as a customer I don't think it's right to mislead you like this over and over and they don't have diesel mechanics available. Nomore.Thank you for your consideration of my letter.
My husband was traveling through when our 2021 truck went into limp mode because of a DEF fault. I had called every dealership within 100 miles along his route and no one would even look at it for 3-4 weeks. He limped it in to Koons of Baltimore. The service dept was so nice and said they would do a quick look over and see if it was something simple. It needed a part and they sent someone to another store to get the part, put it on and got him on his way in just a few hours. I can't say enough about how nice the service staff was and how appreciative we are of their willingness to help us with us being hours from home. I highly recommend!

Had an amazing experience with getting my truck repaired. My advisor and tech explained the problem and made sure that it was taken care of.
I must say that one, I was greeted with a warm welcome and smile; two, the genuine concern about why I was there was impressive; three, Jay Stewart, kept be abreast on everything that would be and was happening with my car. Including, providing me transportation to Hertz to pick up a rental. What we thought would take 2 days took a complete full day. The other impressive things was, they did a courtesy inspection to keep me “in the know” of my car and what would be needed next. I, personally, know nothing about cars, but Jay Stewart and the team at Koons Ford, let me know that it was okay…they will take care of me and my car!!! Kudos to Jay and the Koons Ford Service Center!!

From arrival time to pick up Josh made my time there a seamless process! The communication was great while my car was in their possession. They replaced my water pump in a timely manner. The rental process was easy as well At Koons Ford everyone was so pleasant and helpful which is nice when you are worried about your car. I wouldn't take ny car anywhere else!

Worked with Josh in the service department and it was a great experience. I needed an oil change and 4 tires (w/Alignment) put on my car over the holiday break and had called around to a few places and Koons was the only place that would make the time for me that day. Josh, took the time to lookup and get me a few different quotes on tires to choose from and let me know about their promo which ended up saving me a few hundred dollars in this case. He let me know that it would take a day to get the tires and they would have all the work completed in 2 days and he delivered on that promise. Highly recommend Josh (and the entire service department) at Koons Ford of Baltimore.

I am always pleased with my experience at Koons ford when working with advisor Jay Stewart. He sets realistic time frames, follow ups on promised calls, and explains any needed work or charges in detail. This makes a big difference for a single woman whose feels car jargon is a whole other language.

I had my sunroof repaired and not only was my car ready in a day and a half, the cost wasn't over the top. It was clean when I left it and clean when I picked it up. No mess left after the service was completed.

Koons Ford sales and service are top notch. I purchased my vehicle there in June 2014 and very happy that I did. I am also happy that Koons Ford policy that customers can have a regular service representative to handle all service needs. Jay has been my service representative for some time now. He is professional, honest, and always recommends actual service needed. He is the greatest. I brought my vehicle in for a recall, oil change, and tire rotation. He highly recommended the special service package better than The Works for less money, a new air filter and front breaks that I immediately agreed to because I trust his judgment. Needless to say, I am a happy camper.

Went in with the idea my service was about 200 to 500 bucks. Almost 1000 and did not even get the work I expected. I have lost trust. In mid morning not out till lat e afternoon.

I come to Koons for all my car needs. The service attendants are very pleasant and kind. I didn't have an appointment but my tire was flat from a puncture. They repaired it and put my donut back. It took a little bit but I was able to drive my car out repaired.
I had a 9 am appt. I did t have to wait at all!The employee who greeted me first was pleasant and friendly. Cynthia was professional helpful. She made sure I had a ride home while my was being repaired and also a shuttle ride back to pick the car up. I thought it would be a long while to get my vehicle back, but it was done quickly.
My recall service was quick and very professional. I will be back for my future service.
Service was great and completed in a timely manner. My service representative was helpful and courteous. My major concern is the Covid mask situation in the area where service representatives meet the public. My representative was properly masked. However there were 2 representatives whose masks were loose fitting and their noses were fully exposed. As I am a 70 year old customer I am unappreciative of their lack of consideration for others.

I dropped my car off the evening before my 8am appointment the next morning for an oil change and tire rotation. By 3pm the day of my appointment I had not heard from Koons or received any kind of status update. I called the Service Dept. several times and kept getting transferred to a voicemail where I left a msg with still no response. About the 4th time calling I was able to speak to someone who said my car still was not ready despite having an 8am appt and that it would be ready by the end of the day and it was ready approximately 4pm by this time. When I went to pick car up, no explanation was provided until I asked and was told they were short handed that day. No apology or offer of discount was offered. A simple call to explain what was going on would've been appreciated. This was the worst experiences I've had with Koons.
I had my oil changed, even though they were extremely busy they fit me in. I just moved to the area so I was shopping around to find a Ford dealership, several didn’t have availability for over a month. I waited for the vehicle and serpent time speaking with the staff, what an amazing group of people, extremely friendly and helpful. I found my local Ford dealership.
Jay Stewart was my service person he was very knowledgeable in his job. His customer service etiquette was excellent. Plus he kept me up dated on everything dealing with my vehicle.
I would like to Thank Cynthia!! She was very kind & very professional. I returned to Koons to get my 1st Maintenance check since buying my dream vehicle from here May 1st. I was in @7 and out by 8:15am. I would also like to also Thank the mechanic for helping me keep my vehicle in AWESOME shape.
My technician was Jay. Actually, this is my second time dealing with him. On both occasions he was approachable, informative, and cognizant of my needs and time. For as long as he remains an employee I will request his assistance!!!
My rating applies to my experience with the personnel at Koons Ford specifically. They were professional, attentive, kept their word on keeping me apprised of what was happening regularly. However, Ford customer service was another issue. The part to fix my car was not available and my car was in the shop approximately one month. I have to ask why Ford would ever let a situation get to where they cannot provide parts to repair their own vehicles but that is what happened. Again. My dealings with the personnel at Koons ford to include Jay Stewart, my service writer and Tisha, the service manager were great. They did everything they could do for me.
Service reps are your interface with the department. My Service Advisor Cynthia Harvey is absolutely fabulous. She explains the work clearly, offering value and unexpected savings. All the work was well done and on time. I had to return for a back ordered body part. Cynthia was able to get me in and out in only half an hour for that part installation as a walk-in, no other Service Department does that. Outstanding dealer service thanks to awesome Cynthia and the professional courteous service technicians. The Koon’s Ford Baltimore Service Department receives full marks!
My experience always good they keep me inform why I’m waiting
I had an emergency with my car so I didn’t even have time to make an official appointment. I took my car in and Jay took very good care of the car. When I left all the lights that were on in my dashboard were officially off.
Service Writer, Glenn Pierce was professional, courteous and proficient. My car hood did not open, he reviewed the problem, reached in, realigned the hood lever attachment and it opened. It took one minute. Then, the technician completed the oil change and tuneup.
Glen provided timely and efficient customer service. Koon's Baltimore Ford needs more service personnel like Glenn.
I went there to have the brakes & rotors on my 2007 Ford Expedition replaced only to find out that there was so many more items that needed to be replaced/fixed that it was going to cost me almost $5000 to do so. Glenn Pierce, the service tech, was very upfront about everything that needed fixing/replaced & sent me up to Robert Young, sales guy, to see if he could get me in a newer vehicle given my bad credit, divorce & a few other things. They both were very nice, kind, personable and I would recommend them and Koons Ford to my friends.

The technician that did the work did a great job. The communication with the advisor was horrible. I spent more time following up with them then they did with me. I had to keep calling when I was told car wouldn’t be done and then that day come and there’s a new date. Rental had to be extended twice. I had to do the follow ups to make sure that got communicated. Maybe same company but definitely not the same customer service as Koons Mercedes in Catonsville.
Laina in service went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. We had our car towed to the dealership after hours for a popped tire and she called me first thing in the morning and stayed in communication with me through the whole process. While everyone is tirelessly working right now, her good spirits really made a difference for us. Thanks again, Laina!

Koons did excellent body work on my 2014 Mercedes Benz C350 4MATIC. They repaired my front bumper damaged when an SUV backed into it in Brooklyn, New York. At the same time, I had four dents removed - 3 that looked like hail damage and 1 was a door ding - and I had the hood sanded down and repainted due to road damage. The car looks like it right off the showroom floor. This is the second time I have used their body shop services. I highly recommend them. They take the time to make sure it's right before giving your vehicle back to you,

I love my service advisor Mr. Green, but waiting 4 hours for a oil change and 35,000 check up is not right and having a low air in a tire.. I made an appointmen, you should honor that. My time is valuable and I just don't think you guys get this. I was offered a ride home, but was not going to be stuck there till you decided to bringback my car

Staff was okay... on 4/13/22 took pics of my vehicle and my email address ( driver door issue and is under ford warranty) ....was advised jeff would email me for an appointment...still have not heard anything..meanwhile my door latch is broken on the inside and my window wont come down.

Repair or install transmission in truck for F150 my experience was great I was in A rental car for seven days while my truck was being repaired it did not cost me anything I’m glad I had that extended warranty on the truck my service writer was Jay he was just great understood my problem attention to details and he just did everything he could to make things work in my favor I want to thank Jay personally and please give him a race I would recommend coons for it to anybody looking to buy buy a vehicle or trade-in they are great.

I have been coming to Koons Ford Baltimore for 4yrs, ever since I bought my car here. I like the quality and professionalism I get every time I bring my car in for general maintenance or repairs. So much so that I travel over 30 min to bring my car here.

Service was on time. Service writer explained needed and recommended services. My only criticism is that the writer offered full price for brake service when there was a discount offered on your website. I would have thought he would know that. It gave the impression of dishonesty, which can destroy customer confidence.

Yeah I know everyone says dealers are expensive to get cars repaired at, but the sense of knowing your car is fixed right the first time far out ways the cost. I bought my car here and they are the only ones that have fixed it or done maintenance on it. My car has lasted over 12 years and it is still running strong thanks to this wonderful maintenance department. I have not any problems with any advisor or mechanic here and I have not been overcharged. Each problem no matter how big or small was taken care of promptly and professionally. I will continue to be a loyal customer to Koons Ford and my next car will be bought here as well. Keep up the great work your the best in the business as far as I'm concearned.
Getting my car serviced was not a problem. Was kept up to date on progress. Got my car back sooner than expected. The problem had I was when I went to ask about my warranty. I got a sales pitch, and not the answer I was looking for.

Koons Ford of Baltimore staff and service departments provided professional and expert repair of my vehicle even during the effects of Hurricane Ida. Their exceptional service continues to keep me as a loyal customer.
I was advised to bring my 2012 Ford Focus in for a recall to check the door latches replaced a couple of years ago. After the latches were replaced I received an email from FoMoCo to send photos of the the latch serial numbers which I did and which FoMoCo acknowledged were the replacement latches. I was called the day of my recall and told the latches had been inspected by Koons during a previous visit by me.

Recall was done all was good they needed car another day to complete the job. The only thing not good was trying to contact some one in service Friday afternoon no answer left message but no call back. I needed a ride but I got ride !

Dead battery and transmission acted up shortly plugging in a "snapshot" device from Progressive Insurance. Transmission shifted roughly and sluggishly, and would not go into high gear. Koons was able to troubleshoot and fix by reprogramming onboard computers.

Service team was great only issue was the sales dept failed to mention there’s 100$ deductible to use the extended warranty that you pay a premium already for so if you have an extended warranty you will be covered for the work but expect to pay 100$ to pick up your vehicle

They changed my oil but I couldn't afford the other services like lug nut replace to high to replace and I feel the lugs that they put on the OEM part are cheap and they will not put good lugs on the the car from the start and to high for filter replacement

Was torn, in the parts department the service was fair at best. Associate was clearly bored and not very helpful. I stopped by the service department and found an associate that was extremely helpful and took care of my problem within 5 minutes.
