My brakes starting making a grinding sound early in the day, which signified that my brake pads needed replacement. I went to multiple places beforehand and was denied service because I didn't have an appointment, which was frustrating since I would of course not have one given that it was something that had just begun. I'm happy to say that Bay Area Tire & Service Center took my vehicle with no hassle. I want to give props to Nate Terry. Mr. Terry was both professional and courteous and had someone look into my vehicle right away even without an appointment. I will definitely be coming back to Bay Area Tire & Service Center for future service needs.

The customer service and honesty shown from this Bay Area Goodyear is wonderful. They are not the closest Goodyear to us, but we are more than happy to travel the extra distance for the exceptional service. I called the shop right at 730am on a Saturday and Tim picked up. I asked for an alignment for my Tesla Model X and he said come in and they should be able to finish before the days end. Note, this place is legit because not all shops have the alignment software for the Model X. It was done 2hr 15min after coming in. And Tim was already aware of a common alignment problem for my vehicle. I'll definitely be back!

We went in on a Friday afternoon with a nail in one tire and a slow leak in another. On Saturday morning, we were informed of the issues and our options. Everything was explained well and we had our car back a couple hours later. Very pleased with the service!

They inflated my tires very quickly at no charge. This really helps me out a lot, because I can no longer do this myself without considerable difficulty. (Bad knees!) They also installed a windshield wiper for me. Nice, because it was windy and cold that day. Thank you for the great customer service.

Awesome service from the team at Bay Area Tire, I noticed my tire was low and added air but as I began driving it was still leaking so I stopped by and they took care of my tire right away. It had a large screw in the tread and removed the screw and repaired the tire quickly and still under warranty with no charge. Thanks team.

I’ve scheduled online twice for oil changes and never had any issues. This last time I got an oil change and my tire patched from a nail puncture in under an hour. Employees are friendly and the waiting area is clean and comfortable. $60 for the oil change and $40 for the tire patching. Very affordable. Would recommend.

Had a great experience with Bay Area Tire. They mounted a pair of runflats for my Corvette on brand new wheels perfectly, not an easy task. I've also had them put new tires on my audi - it took a day to get the tires, and I dropped the car off the next day - easy. I received a car care package postcard in the mail and for the price for what they were going to do I decided to give them a try. I was truly disappointed to discover that this location did not rotate my tires but they called to tell me that I needed new tires....just because I need tires doesn't mean that they couldn't rotate the existing tires and do a wheel alignment. I feel like it's my decision to make not theirs. I also don't feel like they did everything on the postcard. I will not be returning.

Apparently I ran over a screw which caused a slow leak on a Friday. Headed to Bay Area, where unfortunately, required a new tire. As I was set to leave town for the week, Matt assured me he could get a new tire by Monday morning. As promised, my flat was replaced and was able to get on the road by early afternoon. First time customer to Bay Area, and now I know where to go for my tire services. Great service and great support. As busy as they were, they did what they could to accommodate my tire replacement. Brought my car in for a check engine light being on. This was a Friday. Tim looked it over and had Matt pull up the codes. Matt said it was the solenoids for the intake, exhaust values. Work was scheduled (parts needed to be ordered) and done. Saturday stayed home. Sunday went to church. Started the car up. Still making the same noise and vibrations when starting. The check engine light is not on, but I didn't like this. Called and spoke to Tim. He had me bring in the car the following morning. He drove it and said he thought it was the ball bearings in the front drivers side. He wants to see if the sound gets any louder before pulling my car apart. I agreed but asked if there was any danger to me with driving the car. Tim said absolutely not. So at present I am driving the car and listening to see if the noise or vibrations get any louder. Please understand I trust Tim and Bill with my life. I believe what they tell me. Matt not so much (yet). The saga continues!!! Oh yes, the price Matt quoted to me was reduced by $100.00 when the work was completed. Yeah!!😀

I tried 4 different places to get my tire replaced because of a blowout, they were the only one that had my tire in stock. I told the young man to throw my spare into the back of my truck. He went above and beyond and put my spare back up under my truck. I would definitely use them again in the future. You don't get that type of service very often anymore.

I got a flat tire the day before a long road trip and needed a completely new tire mounted. These guys got me in on short notice, completed the job in under 30 minutes, reset my pressure sensor, mounted the new and secured my spare for about $50 below the price listed on the website. They were super friendly, and during the 30 minute wait in a comfy waiting room they helped out like 3 or 4 other customers who were walk ins. They checked some ladies battery free of charge, changed a dude’s flat in like 10 minutes, it went on and on. Seriously the best possible experience for me. I was looking for the boss to tell him he needs to give these guys a raise.

I was very impressed in their work my family goes to this place all the time! I got a pretty good price on my tires they did a great job putting them on! I had an oil change did a great job there of course! The only problem I had was I have two headlights out I asked them how much it was going to be I understand my car is not your average just pop it out you have to take the bumper off but still they wanted to charge me pretty high for that so I was not able to get it done there!All in all I think they are a very good place to get work done!

I believe paying attention to customers request along with follow through shows concern and attentiveness needed for a successful business. Yes my alignment was addressed however simply providing me with a estimate would have gained me as a returning customer.

I'm using my work account to review this place again. My previous review, which I did update, was from 2 years ago and I want my new review to be more visible. This team is always honest even when it doesn't necessarily mean they're going to make more money from you. Their honesty made it so I could pay my rent on time. I've brough a couple different cars here over the years and they've done great work each time. I've recommended them to my family and friends, and I recommend them to you too. They will not lie to you to make money. They will do the work you need to keep your car driving healthily. This, in turn, guarantees return customers and makes them more money in the long run. The team is wonderful, specifically naming Austin who is the face of the company I've worked with the most. But given the consistency of the shop, the owners must be good as well.

Good price. Good tires. Good service. Issues were tires were not there and they had to go pick them up which added to my wait time. They were quick to fix that. Also, when i left my low psi tire indicator came on telling me one of my new tires was at 28 psi. It shouldve been at 45. I thought it was a glitch so i checked it at the house and sure enough it was right at 28 psi. Not sure how that happened but i can infer that someone there missed a tire when they were checking psi levels and then allowed me to drive off. Good experience overall.

Convenient, fast and friendly service. I stopped in before work, explained what was wrong and they called me a courtesy Lyft ride so I was able to go to work. They called me a couple hours later, told me what was wrong, how they fixed it, said my car was ready to be picked up and I grabbed it when I got off work. I initially chose this mechanic because of its location however I'll keep going back because of the quality of service. Tim worked on my car over the last few weeks and was helpful and communicative. He kept on trying when the wrong parts got delivered from their vendor and didn't stop until he found the right part. The service itself was faster than I'd expected with my car ready within 2 days each trip. Tim was also happy to put my car back together so I could drive it while he shopped for the parts. All in all, I've already pointed someone toward this shop and I intend to continue. UPDATE: 2 weeks later they helped me out again. They diagnosed and fixed a check engine light with no charge. They have a business to make money so it's not something you can expect all the time but it made my life easier for sure. Thanks guys! UPDATE 2021: 2 years later my old beater has been destroyed by a hit and run. I have a nicer car now. Last week I had some routine maintenance done at the dealership and the dealership straight up lied to me about some work I needed done. They also quoted me a high number. I took my car back without the work and called around. Bay Area had the best rates (again, as always) so I took my car there and explained the situation. They told me the dealership lied to me. 2 years later they're still honest. They did much less work when they could have given me a still better rate but charged me for work I didn't need. My vehicle issues always come in 2s and I hit a pothole a week later. Needed a new tire. They didn't try to force more than I needed. Yet again. Honest. I'm seriously recommending this place to everyone I know. Look at my other reviews. I don't get this verbose or speak this highly in them. I have nothing negative to say. Seriously, go here. Went here yesterday thinking I had a nail in the tire and was getting a flat since I had the check tire pressure light come on during my lunch drive. I've had three flats in the past 2 years, so now I'm extra cautious. I bought the good year tire warranty after the second flat and have been so glad to have it. The guys here were quick to make sure so I wouldn't have to wait too long, told me there was no nail and filled my tires, reset the light, and sent me on my way. No charge since my warranty covered it all. I gotta say I was really not expecting them to get me through so quickly, so thank you for this! Definitely coming back.

Had by far the best experience IV ever had getting work on my vehicle here! The service Tech Austin came out right away to take a look at my car and help me size up the tires. Then walked me through all possibilities and options and explained all the differences between them. I was never up sold and was given honest advice. When we found the tire I wanted they did not have it but my tires were so bad I didn’t feel safe driving so Brad the Manager drive to the warehouse to go get my tires so they could get them on that night. With in an hour I was on my way and safe to get to work. I don’t normally leave reviews but this place goes above and beyond for their customers. They also cover all kinds of other things that are free of charge if you have any issues. It’s hard to find honest good establishes in this day and age. On May 20, 2021, I stopped at the Bay Area Tire & Service located at 7986 Crain Hwy., Glen Burnie, MD and spoke to the Store Manager, Tim Cronan about the unsatisfactory service I received in February 2021 for the same problem. Tim informed me that he didn't have anything opened to have my car checked. He then asked if I could bring the car back the next day at 9:00 AM. I was able to comply. Tim then talked with me and reassured me that he was going to check on the (oil dripping) problem and keep me posted of whats going on. I can only say that he kept his word from the beginning to the end. He is a man of integrity! At the end he gave me the print out of the service work that was done with a (0) balance! This was my first visit to Bay Area Tire in Glen Burnie. My tires were purchased by the previous owners of my car, so I just went there because they're under warranty still. It's a 25 minute drive from my house, so on the way out I was thinking that I would buy my next set elsewhere. I got there expecting to replace a tire because I have run flats, which usually can't be patched. Not only were they able to patch it, but they were also quite patient with me when I was insisting that I don't have wheel locks (I do, turns out). I also had my oil and air filter changed, both at pleasantly reasonable prices. I will definitely be going back for all of my tire needs in the future.

After going to several auto repair shops for oil changes getting various prices from $45-$80 at Walmart took hours to do only to say they couldn't turn the bolt on my oil spout was too tight from last oil change to other shops that charged $80 telling me I had other problems that needed attention... I finally found a shop with know how and confidence to get my oil changed using Mobil 1 synthetic and I never have to check between oil changes with a Walmart price. Oh and they run an ad in the local circular too for $10 off oil changes.

I was Worried about my truck after some serious vibration issues on the road coming from Pittsburgh. Texted the number on the website they told me to bring it by. The mech. realized it was a tire that was loose. After he torqued the lugs, and I told him I hadn't been anywhere to have the truck worked on, he immediately took my keys back, and put it in on a rack. If I could give 100 stars I would. I'm from the Baltimore route 40 area so it was more convenient to go to the Goodyear on route 40...Every time I would go there, I never would leave without a 1500 estimate for something....I use to go to this Glen Burnie Goodyear when I lived in Anne Arundel County....Back then in the late 90's the gentleman I dealt with, his name was Sandy. I remembered his honesty back then....So long story short. The route 40 location told me 6 months ago that I had a leaky radiator. I decided to hold off until I got another opinion and then like 3 or 4 days later, while I was at Walmart, it look like I had fluids on the ground under my car. Panicky, I called Glen Burnie to see if they would tell me it was my radiator and the guy checked me out thoroughly and told me "no leaks and no charge". He said it must have been something spilled under my car...So a few more months go by, no issues and then I get ready to do my cross country trip Apr. 10th with my 10 year old Hyundai Sonata and I scheduled an appointment with this Glen Burnie Goodyear on Apr. 4th and I ask for an oil change and a thorough check and I told them I'm ready to drive to Arizona so please tell me whatever I need to get done to make it there and I will...The gentleman (unfortunately I didn't get his name) told me the only thing my car was in need of was wiper blades, I replaced them for about 25 dollars....I took 7 days to get to Tucson and my car made it with absolutely no issues at all...These are the most honest men you'll ever EVER meet...if they were after my money they would have gave me a 1500 dollar estimate of lots of work that I didn't need like the other Goodyear always did....Thank you and I hope all good things go your way for being such magnificent people!!
