I have been going to honest One auto care of Roswell for the past 18 months since I move here from Texas all I can say is that the entire staff has always been extremely kind, polite, very informative and as the name goes Honest. I have spent quite a bit of money with cars that I own, and I trust and feel they have never lied to me. They showed me the parts, they explain to me everything and they are very fast for my standards. If you need car repair go to Honest 1 Auto Care of Roswell.

This auto care shop truly lives up to its name. As a woman, I’m very skeptical about trusting mechanics because I’ve been over charged just because I am a woman. WELL, not at Honest 1. Although my first time doing business with them, it felt like I’ve known the staff for years. Shout out to Chuck the general manager there. He took time to explain what was going on with my car every step of the way. He even sent someone to pick me up from my home when my car was ready!! The atmosphere in this shop feels like family! I highly recommend their service especially for women that knows little about cars. Here you won’t feel cheated or rushed. They are HONEST and AFFORDABLE with OUTSTANDING customer service!! They will be my auto care shop for many years to come no matter what area in Georgia I live in. Please spend your money with them, you won’t be disappointed!!!!

I took my car to Honest-1 for a second opinion after I was quoted $2800 for a repair. Honest-1 found that the repair was not necessary and my car was in fact, in great shape. Honest 1 serviced the fuel injection system and replaced the front brake pads and rotors on my vehicle. The repairs were done quickly and fairly priced. In addition, they preformed a very comprehensive inspection of all the systems on the car and provided a report of their findings. This is helpful in planning future repairs.

What impressed me most is the comprehensive inspection text link they send with details and photos on everything they did and if a follow up is needed, why and when.Chuck was so friendly, as was the gentleman who brought my car to me. Prices were very reasonable, imo. I plan to use them for future services. Small update, I got a call from Chuck the GM alerting me that they’d accidentally overcharged me and planned to refund me. I asked for a credit because I absolutely plan to return. The Honest name is legit.

I wanted to let you know that from the initial call to explain our issue all the way to picking up our repaired truck, was one the best we have ever had. Used this business for a pre purchase inspection of a used car. Great, quick service. Price is a little higher than others, but you get a really detailed report that outlines everything they found complete with recommendations and estimates to repair found issues. So that’s worth the extra money IMO. Will use again.

We use honest one for all the maintenance on our vehicles. We have been using them for years! They've never put any pressure on us to do anything. They text us a break down that includes the results of the complete inspection. It includes pictures and describes the work that needs to be done. They give me a call, and we talk about the urgency (and lack of) for any items. I always feel comfortable and informed, never pressured. They also can shuttle me back and forth to my home or my office. Great service. Great people.

I have been here a few times with 3 different cars. Now their actual work is great and I can trust their inspections. The problem I’ve continuously experienced is their timing. I’ll set up an appointment online or over the phone and it will be confirmed but when I drop the car off I’m usually waiting anywhere from 4-6 hours for completion. Even for an oil change it will take that long. Of course I call about 2 hours in to check but I’m always told they haven’t started or that they’re just now starting. I just wish they were more honest with my time

We had a great experience. We don't live in the area, but were buying a used car near to the shop, so we had them do a pre-purchase inspection. For such a minor service, we were suprised to have one of our best experiences ever with a mechanic. The level of detail and concern put into the with really impressed us. I am a longtime customer of Honest-1 AutoCare in Roswell, GA. Recently I was in to have my brake system checked, Oil & filter service and an overall vehicle check. As usual I received an honest assessment of my brakes and they did not need to be replaced at this time. In the very thorough vehicle inspection several items were found that needed attention. I was provided with a very detailed written assessment including pictures for every segment of the complete inspection. For those items needing some attention a detailed quote was included with costs. There was a full explanation of all of the sections of the vehicle in the written assessment and verbal explanation each as well so I could properly evaluate the recommendations and make a decision what, if any, of the work to have done. I have decided to handle some of the minor issues myself, monitor those items that do not require immediate attention and have Honest-1 take care of the two pressing issues. If all businesses operated as professionally as Honest-1 there would be many more happy, satisfied customers.

Long story short: For as long as I live near this shop, I won't be taking my car anywhere else. I went in to fix a tire and get a full inspection. It was easy to schedule an appointment online. Drop off was super quick and painless. Once they completed my inspection, I got a text with a link to a document that had images, videos and explanations of every part of the inspection (all with helpful arrows and circles. I'm not being sarcastic it was great lol). The doc listed concerns they ran into as well as recs based on how urgent the concern was. They noted several things that shops I've been to in the past few months said they inspected and should have caught but didn't. (Lookin' at you Speed Auto Repair.) While there was unexpected work I needed, I felt comfortable getting it done because they were so transparent. They also didn't push when it came to things I can do myself, like replacing air filters and tag lights. As we were discussing the work I needed, they were upfront about prices and the numbers they quoted me were very accurate to the final bill. Also, the final bill had a great breakdown of all of the prices and I was able to check online if they were fair. They were! Yay! And customers get a free roadside service for a year after getting work done at the shop. Details are on the final invoice ;) The only "bad" part: It took three-ish days to get the work done. I didn't find to be an issue as they were upfront about it. I'd much rather wait a few days and know that my car is going to be safer and well taken care of rather than be pushed through a shop in an hour. The final and most important (to me) thing: As a young woman, I *expect* to be taken advantage of at car shops, so I deeply appreciated that I could send the inspection doc to trusted friends and family (who know more about cars than I do!) for their review. In car shops and auto parts stores, I've frequently been hit on, groped, or treated like the world's stupidest moron. Here, everyone I spoke to was like talking to an uncle or cousin. I can't express how good it feels to walk into a store where you're expecting to be treated poorly and scammed and NOT have that happen. It seems silly but I felt so respected by these guys.

Great experience, went in for comprehensive inspection, was done free of cost and a detailed crisp inspection report was sent to my cell, was amazed with level of clarity in the report. Found that the Issue that my Mazda showroom asked to fix for hefty amount was a non-issue in real, so glad I went in here. Got my four wheel alignment done as well and it drives smooth and steady now. These guys are true to their name ‘honest’ and will recommend a repair only if it’s really needed. And the shuttle service is definitely a bonus.

I'm new to the Roswell area and was pleasantly surprised to find a highly rated place relatively close to home. My visit confirmed the ratings were justified. Honest-1 has mastered the art of customer service and, doubtless, that helps explain the many repeat customers I saw enter the facility while I was there. The service department was very busy the day I went for an oil change but they still had me in-and-out much quicker than a dealership would. I appreciated the vehicle inspection report which I received via text message. This is a place where they treat you like a valued customer rather than a number. I respect that.

I recently went to Honest-1 to possibly get a Tune Up plus new tires and an alignment. After they did an inspection, they told me there was really no need to spend the money on a tune up just yet. It’s preventative maintenance, and nothing was currently wrong with the vehicle. They were very thorough in discussing my vehicle to me. It was the first time I’ve ever gone to a mechanic, and they pevented me from spending money! Typically, I do my research before going in and am prepared to respond to whom ever the mechanic is when they give me an endless list of items that need to be addressed, usually none of which is required or hindering the performance of the vehicle. It was nice to get an honest assessment, the inspection, to fix what was actually needed and save money! I definitely recommend the shop and all who I’ve encountered there. I spoke to Jordan, Conrad and two front desk employees.

I had a great experience for an oil change here at Honest-1. I made an appt on the phone with them (super friendly) they took the car quickly and on time, gave me a check in on what the car may need and then we discussed the cost prior to getting to work. I discussed I was on a time crunch when I booked and they made sure to get me out with enough time to get where I needed to be. They even gave me a discount for being a first timer and a coffee cup! I've been going here for a couple of years now but this review is for work they did on my wife's Wrangler last year. The engine light was on and they handled that along with an oil change, but it also had a pesky coolant leak that required a few visits to finally resolve. While that may initially sound like a negative due to the multiple trips, it was a non-obvious cause and I really appreciated their persistence as they worked through the issues without extra charges even given their increased time and effort. Dennis and his team did a great job and did right by us, and I'm sure they'll do the same for you. Thanks again!

This is the second time I've dealt with Honest-1 in Roswell, and the second time they've amazed me on their quality of work and customer service. I brought my car in for a transmission fluid replacement and coolant leak investigation. Not only did they do a complimentary inspection of my entire vehicle, letting me know what was OK and what needed attention (and at what intervals said items needed to be addressed), but they called me at every step of the process to let me know what they were doing, what the cost would be, and how much longer it would take. The inspection report was beautifully written up in HTML form so I could view it on my phone or computer, with pictures of my own vehicle for proof/reference of each inspected portion of my car. All "needs work" items were written up in a quote that was emailed to me for my review, and they didn't try and weasel me into anything when I said excluded those items from my list of items for them to do. They were very reasonable with their prices and how they billed me, so my total bill came out to around the price I was expecting it to be beforehand. With the quote they gave me, I already know how much I will be spending when I bring it back for a tune-up and routine fluid changes. Highly recommend Honest-1 in Roswell!

Per usual, my experience at Honest-1 was a slam dunk. They’ve added a new software that sent a text of all the safety inspections that were done on my truck and the recommended services needed in the future. There were pictures to document everything proving their “honest” recommendations and services completed. Due to my regular car service with them I was able to present my “money back” coupon with the owner’s personal signature, which cut my bill in half! The staff top to bottom is always very polite and grateful for my business. Check them out if you need a good and fair mechanic.

Very courteous and professional on every level. Due to the coronavirus, I was not able to wait in the lobby so they shuttled me to my home and then picked me up when my car was done. Very enjoyable experience getting my car serviced. As a woman getting my car fixed is at the top of my list of least favorite things to do. However, since I'm, not married and my brothers are busy it's up to me. The team was very respectful and took their time explaining every detail of what my car needed. I've told every person that would listen about how I got an update (pictures included) of what repairs my car needed by text while sitting in the waiting area. These guys are really accommodating! I was a terrible customer but they were so cool about everything. I left my car over a long weekend while I was traveling and I missed their call. My car stayed in their very crowded lot for an extra day and they didn't even mention it when I finally called. They emailed me a thorough estimate of everything that needed work and patiently explained everything over the phone. I took another day deciding if i wanted to put any more money in my old car. They had no problem with identifying and fixing only the essentials and leaving the rest to a later date. They couldn't have made much money off me but still treated me like i had been spending money there for years. Be warned, the parking situation can be terrible. I couldn't find a place to park at all. I got frustrated and parked in one of the open space blocked by orange cones. Oops, i found when I was checking out that those spaces belong to the neighbor who doesn't like people like me parking there. Sorry, thanks for being nice about everything Conrad!

A quality national chain company enhanced by the fact that the franchise is locally owned by a Roswell resident who is involved in the community. I went for a pre-purchase inspection and they were backed up. But the owner came out to the vehicle and ran the codes, inspected under the car and even looked under the hood for me. He was so explanatory, professional and extremely helpful! He gave me his honest opinion and kept me from spending thousands of dollars on a lemon even with 45+ cars on the lot to work on today. He took time out of his day to help a random stranger and you don’t see that much anymore. My daughter took her car there to diagnosis a loud engine noise. They consulted with my life partner about the noise because he installed the engine. At the end of that discussion they thought it was a flex plate. We brought the car home then called the engine warranty folks. They required us to take the car back, then took days...to coordinate with Allen. After a few calls to them, they finally did what was needed. The car was brought home a second time because the warranty folks wouldn't cover the issue. This shop was top notch in their quick communication, responsive, and thorough in their inspection. Not only that but they could have charged us storage fees for having the vehicle there so many days and did not. I made an appointment for Friday at 9:30am for an oil change for my 2019 Kia Sedona. When I dropped it off I was told there was a little bit of a back up and they would get to it as soon as possible. They called me shortly after dropping it off to ask me if I wanted regular oil or synthetic? He explained that it would cost more for synthetic but I told him to go ahead with the synthetic. 8 hours and $102.90 (after a $10 discount) later my car was finished. I feel that this is just too long and too much for an oil change. Yes it was thorough, but this is extreme to wait 8 hours for an oil change and pay that much money. I called the dealership where I purchased the car and they quoted me $79 for full synthetic and oil change while I wait. Update: The owner called me to apologize for my experience and offered me a full refund. They always go a great job and everyone is always very nice. I will try them again and see how things go.

I was towed to Honest because my battery had died. It is unsettling to go to a brand new place where you have no history and my expectation was to be raked over the coals because I had no other options. To my surprise they were fantastic, took great care of me and got my car running with a new battery right away. Explained everything, it impressed me when I was told they would check some other (more expensive) things after the new battery was installed but didn't want to assume. Honest 1 could have very easily taken advantage of me and I would have never known. I can highly recommend this place, their place is clean, the staff is friendly and very courteous.

My engine light was on,in my truck and I had to get my truck inspected. Where do I go and how do I take care of this issue was my question. I had gone to Honest 1 on Alpharetta Hwy in Roswell Ga. to get my oil changed so I knew Allen in the service department there. I gave Allen a call and explained the situation to him. He asked me come by and he would look at it. I have to tell you I am a single female and I have apprehension going to auto repair shops. I know very little about how automobiles operate. I try to inform myself by going on line as to the issues I am having about my automobile before I seek help from a repair shop. When I went to Honest 1 in Roswell they took care of me right away. They checked the issue with my engine light and then referred me to get it inspected. They checked and found safety issues regarding my vehicle. Gave me a report over the phone much sooner than I expected on what was needed in a descending order of importance with zero pressure. Cherry picked services - those to do now and what I need schedule in for the future. They even told me I really needed a new cabin filter and I totally forgot the car had one, which in 65K miles had never been changed. So what they told me I needed, I really needed. What they told me to be aware of was great to put on my radar. Had all work done on time (sooner than I expected) and the car ran like new. So the work was great and the services they provide are much appreciated (cafe, drinks, waiting room, roadside service, warranty on the service, handing out cell numbers). My car was towed their late Wednesday afternoon and Jordan was in charge of my vehicle. By Thursday morning, he had diagnosed that I needed a new engine. Cannot recommend this shop highly enough. They do not pressure you to get anything you don't need, in fact they are more likely to try to talk you out of something. But they will give you a thorough list of what your car needs, and they will help you prioritize the repairs as if they were in your shoes. They will tell you themselves that they aren't the cheapest place in town, and that's not a lie. They do have high prices for parts. But it seems to me that, as always, you get what you pay for. We've been taking our cars to Honest1 since 2012. We used to have two Toyota Sequoias, each with well over 200k miles on them. Dennis, Jordan, Tom, and the gang would always tell us, "Here's what you need to do, and here's what you can get by without doing for now." Jordan has fixed at least 2 flat tires for us after hours at no charge. I cannot count how many times Tom or Dennis has either picked me or my wife up or dropped us off at our house just so we could get our car serviced. Now we just bought a car for my daughter - another Toyota! - and they did the inspection. The found a big issue, and helped us knock $1,000 off the asking price of the car. You can take your car anywhere you want. We take our cars to Honest1 because we know that we know that we know that we can trust them. If you live or work anywhere near Roswell, GA, and you don't have "your guy", then Honest1 is "your guy".

My 00’ Silverado needed a oil change, and I had a oil leak. After replacing the oil pan and oil cooler gasket , all was fine til I noticed a puddle of oil underneath a few days later. I called Dennis (the owner) he immediately sent a tow, fixed the issue, and personally delivered my truck. I have always been in search for a shop that didn't speak down to me like I didn't understand how my car works. Honest 1 of Roswell has always treated me with the upmost respect. Allen and Jordan explain everything during the process. They will take you into the shop and show you what the part looks like and why it needs to be replaced. They always show integrity by standing by their work and going the extra mile to shuttle you home or to work while they take care of your car. Conrad and Dennis recognize you when you walk in the door. You can have a coffee, water or soda, connect to the wifi and scroll FB or get some work done while they are thoroughly looking at everything. They will be honest if you need to make a list. I had a list of things that need to be done now, things that could wait 30-60 days and a list for 6-12 months down the road. My Chevy HHR was great till I traded her at 192,000 miles. My husband bought a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee for our 16 year old daughter from some friends that were trying to sell the Jeep for their adult son. They took their son's word that it was in great condition so we bought it in good faith. Within 2 days, it started leaking oil so we bought it to H-1 to check it out. Jordan put it up on the rack and we were horrified at the condition underneath as it was all badly rusted out from being in the northeast! He spent 30+ minutes with my daughter & I estimating the cost of repairing the oil pan and showing us the dangers looming ahead if we kept the vehicle. He put a few quarts of oil in to get it home as it was leaking badly and did not charge us a penny. Thankfully our friends took the Jeep back and were mortally embarrassed and apologetic when they took it to a mechanic to look underneath! We finally found a 2008 Honda CRV and took it back to Jordan to be checked out and change the oil. This vehicle is a winner and should be safe & very low maintenance for years to come! You can always trust H-1 for their honesty (especially with women who often get over-charged) and great service. Make sure you take any vehicle to them to check out before you buy or even sell a vehicle.

MY SUCCESS STORY WITH HONEST-1: my AC stopped blowing cold air, and I brought my car first to some other shops that I doubt they even checked my car (and charged me around $100 just to supposedly "check"), and then claiming that I needed to basically change the whole AC system, and it would cost me around $1500 to do so. This didn't seem right to me, so I started looked around again for a hopefully honest shop to get a second opinion, until I found Honest-1 based on their superb online reviews and honesty philosophy (plus their claim of handpicking the best car mechanics around). I have no words to describe WHAT A GREAT DIFFERENCE they are! First of all, they were super courteous and nice, they were happily able to receive my car right away without the need of scheduling an appointment, I was not charged for the AC check-up, I was offered free drinks and snacks (and free wi-fi), they brought me back home in their shuttle service (I live 4 miles away), I was contacted back fairly quickly, and I was explained that I only needed new freon on the system... that's all, just freon! (just a very minimal reasonable fraction of $ from what other shops were asking for). They fixed it immediately (I have very cold air in my car again!), and I was also thoroughly explained about all the plan forward to make sure I don't have freon leaks and things alike. I'm definitely sticking with Honest-1 for all my future car repairs. Thanks so much!!!

I have always had a great experience at Honest-1 in Roswell. Love the friendly staff, the clean waiting room, free snacks and wi-fi (and even a computer to use). However, this is the first time I am writing a review because they completely lived up to their name by being HONEST. The original quote to replace my A/C compressor was going to cost about $1,000. My car is 14 years old so it seemed reasonable and I agreed to pay. However, after they replaced the part, they realized my issue was mis-diagnosed. Alan was clearly upset by the mis-diagnosis, but they owned up to the mistake, took full responsibility, only charged me $220, and let me keep the brand new compressor as well. It was a huge surprise and so nice to know they really are honest. I've been telling all of my friends, especially females, they can trust HONEST-1. Thank you, Alan, Dennis, Tom & the rest of the gang!

I had taken my '07 Sebring to many shops, including dealers, to get the transmission fixed. They all gave me a different explanation for why, occasionally, the car wouldn't shift out of first gear, but no one seemed to be able to do anything about it. When I took the car to Honest-1, last year, Allan and his team did an inspection, and he noticed that an earlier repair that had been done under warranty may have used sub-standard parts / practices in fixing the vehicle's PCM and transmission. He gave me a very reasonable estimate, so I came back this year to get the repair done. Although the first attempt didn't take care of the issue 100%, what really impressed me was that they covered the cost of my rental while they took another look at no charge. Needless to say, I am now driving a safe, reliable car thanks to them. Thank you, Honest-1. You live up to your appellation!

I came in for a full, 120K tune up and they ended up coming significantly under compared to other shops in Roswell. My Xterra also had a bad window, which I had been putting off fixing due to very high quotes. The guys went ahead and looked at the window for me, and then gave me a great quote for fixing it. The waiting room was extremely clean and I believe it had wireless internet as well.

My new 2012 Honda Civic requires full synthetic-- they were fast with the oil change and since I spent over $25 they enrolled me automatically in a roadside service that will reimburse me up to $75 (for towing or locking my keys in the car!) Only reason why I didn't put 4 stars is because 1) visibility of the shop isn't great (despite the bright coloring and sign)-- I passed it a few times trying to locate it; and 2) Dennis told me that full synthetic is $7 per quart for them-- I know that they get a mechanic shop discount. Normally I wouldn't make it a huge deal but they are named "honest auto." Still awesome-- will be returning to them for all my maintenance while living in Roswell

Have started taking my 05 Mustang here for almost everything now. I prefer to do my own car work but some things are either too messy or too difficult for me. I do my my own cabin air filter, fuel filter, cleaning my cold air intake etc... These guys are actually really honest and tell you what needs to be done in my experience. Took my car there for an oil change and was told "Well these problems you should take care of soon and these problems could wait a while". They have actually been Honest with me. They say this needs to be fixed but you can do it your self but they could do it for me. Like my air filter cleaner. Literally told me to get the K&N filter cleaner and do it myself which i did vs (what he told me) a $30 labor charge.

I had my rear brakes fixed here. Great experience. First we took a ride to determine the problem (i didn't know what was causing the loud scraping sound). Then they hoisted up the car and removed tires and wheels. Then I was brought out to the garage and shown the problem and given a comparison between my rotors and a new roter, they did the same for brake pads. They did the same with the brake pad. Heres what I liked. They kindly greeted me, explained what was wrong and what work needed to be done. They had a comfortable sitting area with free sodas, coffee, a desktop computer (for surfing), wi-fi and TV. They gave me a ride TO and FROM work, for free. They offered me a great price for my brake service with free roadside assistance for a week (free for 1 week after car repairs). I met a lady there who had been coming there for 13 years and refused to take her car else where, they treated her like family. The gentleman at the front desk (who gave me a ride) was very friendly, we actually bonded. They gave me a fair quote on the other repairs I needed, which they physically pointed out to me in the garage. They made repairs same-day as promised. They made me feel confident I was getting the right repairs done given that I was a bit low on funds (i needed both front and rear brake pads and rotors replaced but they told me my front rotors still had some miles on them but my rear rotors were so bad I was cause more costly damage to my car). They used quality parts for the repairs and the work the did was great!! Im definitely going back for the second round of repairs :)
