This place is amazing. While I have only been here twice, they were both outstanding visits. They were extremely nice and had great attitudes. I initially contacted them about adding air to my tires because I was panicking when the cold weather hit and my pressures all dropped below 30. They added air to all 4 of my tires and made sure they had enough in them at no charge and in less than 10 minutes. I was so impressed I scheduled an oil change. They were able to get me in very quickly. And even though I overslept that morning, they were still able to get me in on my scheduled date with no attitude or annoyance. They made me feel very comfortable and like my business was valued! They even checked up on my vehicle to ensure everything was going well the next day after service! Top grade, next level service provided! 😊 Thanks so much Anthem!

My first visit to Anthem will definitely not be my last. A headlight bulb was out and I wanted brighter replacements to see better at night. Chris gave me the model number for my Honda. I ordered them online for under $70. They were installed in minutes and it was the first time in 30 years that I left a repair shop without paying $100 or more. PLUS I now have headlights that rival those on airplanes. The customer service area was immaculate. While waiting, I overheard customer conversations with the service staff. The atmosphere was welcoming, friendly and professional. I'll be back in a month for a radiator flush and oil changes. Thank you Anthem Automotive for restoring trust for those of us who can't change a light bulb!

My check engine light came on over a weekend. Anthem was recommended by a neighbor and I was able to drop my car off on a Monday afternoon so they could check it first thing Tuesday morning. I got a call early saying that everything was ready to go. They explained what the problem was and what they did to fix it. And it was covered under the cost of the diagnostic. Everyone I spoke to was incredibly friendly and helpful. I’m happy to have found an automotive place to take my car instead of the dealership. They certainly seem reasonably priced and trustworthy.

I would recommend them to anyone! They had such top notch customer service from the minute I spoke to them on the phone to the time I checked out. I was able to take my car in the next day, unlike the 5 week lead time at the dealership repair ctr. Even when my wife’s Grand Cherokee had issues that took longer than expect to fix, they made sure to get everything done correctly and to their standards while still giving us the best customer service. When Ford told me it would take 12 days to run a diagnostic test on my car to Figure out why my USB port wasn’t working I Googled other repair options and picked Anthem based on their stellar reviews. I was not disappointed! They got me in 2 days later and only kept my car for one day, diagnosed the problem, bought the part from Ford and repaired my car in only one day . Being on a fixed income a vehicle repair is tough and my repair would have cost me over $3000. twice my monthly check. It was a difficult repair it even confounded the techs. Not only did Chris Ramirez take care to always keep me informed on the repair status, he worked with with me to reduce my bill and when the repairs ran over the time we expected they said they would pay for a rental. My 2010 Jeep Liberty with nearly 200,000 miles runs great again. I highly recommend Anthem Automotive to anyone who is looking for a reputable auto repair shop, this is the place.

Proceed with caution: For the work they did that was necessary, everything was done well and timely, albeit on the pricier end but they use quality parts. However, they recommended a repair that would have run me around 2800$, that turned out to be totally unnecessary. All that was needed was a new part that was around 70$. I’m not sure whether they just didn’t know enough about the car (a Nissan) or if they were just trying to push the more expensive repair. Either way I recommend a second opinion if you aren’t sure about the services they claim you need.

Fix-in Stuff

This is the best mechanic shop in town. Forry Elsenhart got us in and fixed oir van in one day. They helped us out in a real jam. We where traveling through to see the Atlanta Aquarium and had a really bad power steering leak on our van. They got us in and fixed in one day so we could get back on the road trip to Florida. They didn't take advantage of our issue being honest and taking great care of van. Also fixed our tires that were out of balance giving us a bad vibration. Thank you guys ya'll are awesome!

There are many fine auto repair services in Atlanta. Anthem is certainly among the best. I have used them for several years with four different cars. The service has been uniformly excellent in quality, timeliness and price. Specific points I find important about their service are below - I would confidently send to them someone who was naive about cars and on a budget. I have overheard them talk to clients. I have heard them say – this can be delayed -this can be delayed for a long time - this is a safety issue and must be done. Their prices are on par with other intown shops and considerably below that of dealers. They give firm price quotes before work is started. Their location on Piedmont Road is convenient to the Lindbedrg Marta station and many intown neighborhoods ( they are about half way between Buckhead and Piedmont Park). They will shuttle clients up to two and a half miles away. They have lock boxes for after hour pick up and key drop off for off hours. Their waiting room is pleasant. It is quite clean. It has floor to ceiling windows (two story) and relatively comfortable furniture. Coffee and drinks were available pre-pandemic - I do not know about now. I had my car towed their because it went to Limp mode. within an hour, they had diagnosed my problem and given me a quote to fix the the broken alternator. the quote was fair and to my surprise, they said they could most likely have it fixed the next, assuming parts arrived. they did and I got my car back relatively quickly.

My experience was nothing short of the other 5-star reviews you see here. This was my first time at Anthem Automotive and Forry and team were extremely welcoming and helpful. I did not feel like they were trying to do unnecessary repairs or inflated costs. They are genuinely good people and have BMW certified technicians with all proper equipment to work on your BMW. My 320i is now ready to hit the road. Not to mention they get you in a timely manner. Other shops were days or sometimes weeks out but Anthem does their best to get you in and out. I don’t know what they’re doing or how they’re doing it but don’t stop guys. Thank you again. I will be back.

I lucked up about 6 months ago when my Honda Fit needed motor and transmission mounts.They offered the very best price of all the places I called, so I went to Anthem Must say I was pleasantly surprised. It is such a clean organized place, with the nicest people. This week I called because my air did not function. I took it in at 6pm, placed my key in a lock box, and next day it was ready! Anthem offers expert work at very reasonable prices. The customer service is first class. I am so lucky to have found Anthem Automotives We own 3 cars and this is the only place they will go to. Recently, prior to leaving for 6 month trip, I needed an oil change and decided to go to Anthem rather than a quick lube place because I knew they would be honest about whatever they told me. I went online after hours and inquired about scheduling an oil change. I received an almost immediate email response (automated, I think). Got a follow up email the next day to call in and schedule my oil change. Very easy scheduling. Dropped off my car on the morning of my appointment and got a call back within a few hours that it was ready for pick up. Very smooth process, upfront pricing, no pressure to do other additional work. They did recommend a tire rotation with the oil change, but when I declined, no further pressure. I appreciate that. I plan on buying new tires soon, so no need to rotate. I did not even explain my reasoning for declining the tire rotation. I appreciate the professional attitude and the clean lobby. I have gone to this location three times, and I must same every time it is the same: quality service with a smile. When you call to make an appointment, Forry and Tim are excellent. They never make you feel like you are a bother; they take their time to understand the issue you are having and answer any questions you throw their way. It’s always so convenient because Anthem sends you text notifications the day before and the morning of your appointment as a reminder. When you walk into the facility, no matter how early, you are immediately greeted and treated well. Before any services are done on your vehicle, you receive a courteous call to explain the diagnosis, and YOU decide what work you want done. Even when I had an engine problem before, the service was completed in a day and I haven’t experienced any additional issues! At pickup, the welcome and professionalism is still there. It is the easiest process I’ve ever had related to auto work. And let me not forget… after your vehicle is completed, Anthem reaches out to you a day or two later to ensure your vehicle is working smoothly, and they have fulfilled their obligation to a job well done. I have told all my friends about Anthem and will continue to shout their praises.

I brought my car in to Anthem Automotive thinking I had a brake issue. Tim (service advisor) asked a few really good questions and he and the service team figured out that my brakes were fine but I had a serious safety issue related to the steering and suspension systems. They were able to fix it quickly and they worked with my extended warranty company efficiently so that I avoided having to come out of pocket on the repair. Also, since they told me my brakes were fine, they helped me save money on what would have been an unnecessary repair. These guys are great at diagnosing issues and working with you to make it as seamless as possible. They are also very professional and friendly.

These guys are really great - they communicated often, were clear about repairs and their costs, and worked quickly given the current supply shortage on parts. I had a day-of accident and brought my car in the day before a holiday, and they were one of the only places willing to take me in immediately. They were always very responsive over the phone, and reimbursed me for rideshare I needed to use when my repair needed an extra day due to part delays. For any mechanic, I always recommend doing your research on the repair you think you'll need - I did so, and they were responsive to my feedback, which ended up lowering my cost for what might have otherwise been an unnecessary (bot not detrimentally so) repair. I don't mean this as criticism against them - in fact it's great that they did listen, and were willing to have a dialogue over the repair, rather than just writing me off. A good mechanic will always listen, and communicate clearly and honestly - these guys did that very well.

My VW Passat 2017 engine warning light came on a Thursday afternoon. It was too late to make an appointment at the Dealer's. Decided to check for VW authorized Repair Shops closer to home. Anthem Automotive came up in my search. Went to see them on Friday morning to find out that the coulant was very low. At Anthem they were kind enough to top it off until my Monday a.m. service appointment to find the cause for the leak. The diagnostics test showed the need for a new water pump and related parts/repairs. What impressed me was that they suggested I check my warranty if this very expensive repair was still covered. While the warranty had expired, the Powertrain was still covered. The Dealer now has the car but is suffering from supply chain shortages to do the required repair. Meanwhile, I am driving a rental Dealer provided car until parts are available, my repaired car is ready. My gratitude goes to Anthem Automotive Associates for their immediate assistance and honesty which is a great saving. It was very impressive. All I can say is their professionalism won me over for future regular maintenance and repairs as needed. I can highly recommend them.

I took mine to Anthem today and they squeezed me in after I told them about my upcoming road trip. UPDATE: I have gone back since and they were just as wonderful the second time. The fix involved me needed new tires, and they did not push me to buy the tired through them. They went as far as to inform me, while they could change my tires, it would be cheaper at a tire place which I felt was incredibly kind to put the needs and budget of their customers over their own sale. Friends I have recommended have said great things as well. Check engine was on and I check it myself so I knew which issue I had. Called them up and they got me an appointment within a few days. The day of, my car wont start. I have to tow it in. They were super kind to me as I was having a rough day and explained to me what happened in common terms and answered all my questions. There was nothing but genuine empathy and kindness. Car works wonderfully now and they solved a problem I have been having for 10 months. No other mechanic was able to even find the problem.

Forry called me back within minutes, restated my issue and said they could work me in the next day! That is amazing considering what other shops are expecting (3-5 day backlog). I’ve been wanting to write a review for Anthem for a few months now because they have such amazing customer service. We worked with Brett and he went above and beyond to make sure we got the best service. We had a pretty expensive repair for my AC and we had been debating whether to get it fixed or not. Brett processed through the decision with me and was very patient as we took a few days to decide what to do. We went ahead and got the repair and Brett made sure to keep us updated throughout the process. They also have a guarantee on the repair for a certain amount of months/ mileage which is very comforting. And to top it off, I was running late to pick up the car and Brett waited until after they closed in order to make sure I received my keys. He could have just left my keys outside for me like other automotive stores have done in the past but he really went above and beyond to ensure I received the best customer service! About a month after the repair, we had been hearing an odd noise in the car (unrelated to the repair) and he even drove around in the car with my husband to try and figure it out. I highly recommend Anthem- you will not be disappointed!!

Great customer service! My car stalled and had to get towed there. They ran a diagnostic and recommended some services (as shops do), but I felt were really honest about what was urgent and what I could hold off on. They also recommended shops for services that they did not provide. I looked around around to compare pricing. Their pricing is resonable compared to surrounding shops. I didn't get my car serviced with them, but they cleaned it and handled the paperwork to get it towed to me. I was not able to make it to the shop to sign the paperwork myself. The guys at Anthem are great! I came in a few days after my service because I had some questions. I was concerned that they had done unnecessary work (at 120k miles) because I found a receipt from a different shop (at 100k miles) that had some similar things listed.They took their time to explain what they had done and how it was different than what had already been serviced. For instance, the guy at 100k miles added more transmission fluid and changed the filter, but the guys at Anthem actually flushed the transmission. David also pulled up some pictures on his computer to help me understand what they did to my car. It's anxiety-inducing to take your car to a mechanic when you know nothing about cars, but these guys have definitely earned my trust and future business. Update: I took my car to a Kauffman tire to quickly get new tires. They tried to tell me I needed a ton of brake work done. I called Anthem to ask their opinion although I don't live close enough to go to them for work right now. Wes answered and sent over my car's service record via email and advised me and gave me his best second opinion without looking at my car in person. I then took my car to another local, trustworthy shop and they agreed with Wes. It saved me unnecessary work and about $700! I appreciate their willingness to help, even though I couldn't give them my business this time.

From the first phone call with Forry to getting my receipt from Brett, every step was above and beyond. I love to learn about cars so when my CEL and EPC light came on in my jetta, I wanted to use it as another learning experience. I replaced my spark plugs and ignition coils, but my car still wasn't running right and I knew I needed to take it somewhere. The dealership was my first call, and after hearing it would take 2-3 days to just diagnose, I never called back. So I called Anthem Automotive because of the previous reviews knowing they would be timely and they had the tools to [hopefully] repair my car. They worked with my unusual work schedule and I was in 2 days later to get it diagnosed officially. We were hoping to have the diagnosis done that day and I would bring it back on my next day off work. But, instead, between 11am and 5pm, they diagnosed it, found all the parts needed, and repaired it! And they kept me updated with each step along with getting my permission to repair it knowing it would cost money. Most shops will just go ahead and "fix" everything they see an issue with and you find out at the end when your bill comes out hundreds of dollars higher than expected. But Forry and Brett, patiently, explained each step to me because they knew I was interested in learning and had it done quicker than I ever expected. The pricing is very fair and reasonable too! I can't thank them enough and they'll be my service shop of choice from now on.

I want to recognize the good folks at Anthem even though they were unable to help me with my engine repair. I have a modified van and not all shops have the ability to handle this type vehicle. Rather than do a sloppy job they were open about it and said that they would not be able to do the repairs the van needed. Have you ever had a customer service experience so above and beyond that you felt the need to immediately call your mom and tell her about it? Well I did and i'm still in awe. I had probably the best service here at anthem automotive of my entire life. I had a very unusual request and called to see if they could take care of it, they told me to come by in a hour and they'd check it out. I show up and they get me in right away and fix the problem i've been trying to deal with for weeks. The guy who was doing the work was wearing just normal everyday clothes and not all greased up like everyone else there. So I asked him what he does at the shop and turns out he is the freakin owner! I was amazed, the owner getting down and dirty and giving the best service around. I asked him, Wes, how much it would be and he said not to worry about it. Like, WHAT!? Now I was hesitant to mention this because I don't want you reading this to expect any freebies, that's not how this works. But it just goes to show the dedication, care and love for the community and their cars that this place has. I have some issues with my other car and there is no question in my mind that I'm going to bring it here every single time. I am absolutely blown away. Finally have found an honest, comfortable, and professional car repair shop in the Buckhead Lindbergh area. The staff at Anthem Automotive is professional and personable. They walked me through all the work they were going to perform and didn't try to sell me 'extra' services. We had our Ford F150 worked on and will now be using Anthem Automotive for all our vehicles. They were quick and have an incredibly nice waiting room with fresh Starbucks coffee, not the standard car repair coffee jug sludge. Shuttle service is also available, which I didn't need but saw two other customers utilizing. All in all, a great shop providing great service and a great experience. We will certainly be back!

I'm the owner of a 2014 Corolla S (CVT transmission) and these guys know how to cycle the fluid in the generation 10 Corollas vs the dealer saying it's "lifetime" fluid. Yes it's expensive however, the work is warrantied and anyone driving this type of transmission should definitely pay these kind gentlemen a visit. They checked my battery for free, replaced it with OEM (original equipment manufacturer) and swapped my spark plugs. The car runs like new and my gas mileage has gone up (even with Atlanta traffic!). I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for and for this particular type of vehicle/transmission, the dealer is hoping your car breaks down so they can sell you a new one instead of doing the proper work required at the correct intervals.

I had taken my car back to the dealer several times after they did the initial brake repair due a loud squealing noise but they were never able to determine what the noise was and said they didn't see an issue. I went to Anthem to get my oil changed and all my fluids checked. The guys here are great and super efficient. The check-in process was easy and their front desk staff are very welcoming and didn't make me feel foolish for not knowing a ton about my car. Their waiting room is clean and comfortable, with complimentary wifi and refreshments. When my car was done, the team walked me through what was done, what it should cost, and anything else they spotted as possibly needing work in the future - it was great to have someone walk me through what's going on in my car, not just throw a bill and my keys in my face. Overall, it was a wonderful experience... which isn't always true when trying to get one's car fixed.

Best independent auto mechanic I've ever been to hands down. Super, super friendly staff. I've interacted with Wes, Fory and Brett many, many times to investigate and address problems with my now 12 yr old aging Mustang. They've always taken the time and patience to fully explain (and answer questions) the investigation process, the results and to lay out the different options I have to choose from. On one occasion they were even open to an alternative option (which ended up working out well) I had suggested, that I'd only been able make based on the level of detail they gave in their explanation. Over the course of 5-6 years, I've gone to them for routine maintenance (air filters, oil change), oil & rain water leaks, dead battery, leaking A/C compressor, failing HVAC components and even an entire transmission swap (when my 2nd gear began to fail). Smaller jobs have always been finished same day; otherwise, they periodically keep me up-to-date on ETA. Excellent staff, service and cost; honestly best I've ever seen in their industry. They've even thrown in a free windshield wiper change for me before. =] P.S. - They also have lock boxes so that you can pick up your car any time after-hours (as well as drop off your car). ENORMOUS convenience for me; I'm usually pretty time-constrained during the day.

I've been here twice to have regular service on my car performed (oil change, overall inspection of the car, maintenance & fixes when needed). I'm very satisfied with their service. Both times I've been there, there were cases where they said "X is wrong with your car, but it's not urgent and you don't need to get it fixed right now." So they're clearly not just all about getting you to pay them for as much work as possible. Also, as other reviews have commented, they are very patient when answering your questions about your car, including on the phone. For example, I worked with Forry this last visit and there were several occasions on which I had questions and each time I spoke with him he was always willing to answer whatever questions I had and never seemed annoyed. Another thing I like is their transparency -- they post the prices for a bunch of common repairs online. And if a type of repair is not posted they will give you an accurate estimate beforehand. Finally, they make it convenient for you by allowing you to drop off & pick up your car after hours. Happy with this shop & plan on continuing to use them for my car repairs in Atlanta.

I experienced some really disturbing, inconvenient car trouble on my way to Atlanta for a week-long work trip. Knowing nothing about local mechanics, I picked the one with the best reviews. THANK GOODNESS for this place. First of all, the entire experience here is unlike any auto shop I've ever seen - it's clean, professional, approachable, hospitable. They took the time to troubleshoot and try different things until they located the root of the problem. Along the way they replaced small parts on my battery, costing around $100 in parts. Finally they determined that there was a larger issue that was covered by a Honda extended warranty. They fixed the car enough for me to get home safely, met me a the shop on a Sunday so I could pick up my car outside of business hours, DIDN'T EVEN CHARGE ME, and recommended that I get the issue fixed at a Honda dealer for free, which I did promptly. The owner even texted me to ask if I got home safely! I can't say enough good things about this place - not only could they have charged me for the parts they replaced (which I expected to pay for), they also could have "fixed" the problem and never told me about the extended warranty, to the tune of hundreds of dollars. They took my stressful nightmare of a situation and made it go away. I wish I were local, I would never go anywhere else. Thanks again, Wes!

Anthem is always trustworthy and reliable. I've gone there the last few years since they've open, and they give great service and do it at fair prices. I save a lot of money there thanks to their suggestions. They'll tell me about various price options I have and make sure I get the best cheap, still-top-quality option. Some examples: just today (which prompted my review, when I realized I had never written one) - I talked to Wes about a taillight part I needed fixed. He helped find the best cheap option for my car's model and saved me several hundred dollars. My car had a Volvo code issue, and Anthem walked me through how to fix it and handled it cheaper than the dealership would have. I had an A/C issue last summer. I did check around on those prices, but of course I ended up sticking with Anthem. The gave me the best price and saved me a few hundred there compared to other things I was told. They also were quicker about it. If there are issues with my car that turn out to be non-issues or cheaper, Anthem will let me know and give me the best price-point. They'll treat you well whether you wait there or leave to come back later. They have really nice people who will help you through your vehicle issues. I find that whenever I ask questions or am confused on things, they'll walk me through it and ELI5 things well. At other car places in town, I sometimes have not had this experience, or I've felt like the people refuse to give me any time at all. Here, they are good to you and treat your car well. Highly recommend.

I moved here last year. Not knowing where to take my car, I looked on Google and now I know why they have 5-star reviews! I have a 2004 Hyundai Sonata that had major issues with an emissions valve. I had it replaced in Arizona a couple of years ago, but it was apparently a refurbished faulty one; Anthem Auto replaced it and for the first time in a couple of years, the check engine light went off. However, the codes would not clear in order for me to get it inspected. I went by there for the first month probably once a week. The codes did not clear after 250 miles. I went back around the 500 mile mark - we reset it to see if we could maybe get it to clear that way. Meanwhile Brett, the manager - was trying to find out what the problem was with it. He spoke to someone who had a friend with a shop in Texas who informed him that this particular year car has to be driven a month or maybe even six weeks! After we reset the codes, I went back a few more times. Finally, at almost the 1500 mile mark - the codes were all clear! Crazy! But I have to honestly say, I went in there probably 15 times to have them check it. They always did it with a smile on their face. These people are the absolute BEST! I will never take my car to anyone else.

Still the best place to take your car for repairs in Atlanta! After taking car to the dealer for an oil change, the DEALER recommended $3000 of work and offered to sell me a new car. No thank you. I found Anthem online with awesome reviews and took my car for a second opinion. I told Wes the story that the dealer wanted $3k to fix the problem. While I waited for my ride to come pick me up, Wes comes back to tell me it's a $25 sensor malfunction. He popped it in, and 25 bucks later, I'm on my way. $3000 vs $25, and the car is still running great years later. Anthem knew that the dealer was asking for 3 thousand. Wes could've offered to fix it for 1 thousand and pocketed a huge payday on something trivial. Instead, he was honest. That really impressed me. The Jetta is still running like a dream thanks to Anthem. The staff advise me with what repairs are safety-related and which are less crucial. They help me know when OEM parts are needed and when we can get by with cheaper options. I've never had a bad experience with Anthem.

This is now my favorite and only shop for car repairs. Trustworthy and reliable shop. I personally worked with Forri and Wes and both were great in explaining the issues I had with my car. Had rear brakes and rotors replaced. New water pump, spark plugs and ignition coils replaced, cleaned out the carbon buildup that accumulated over the years and fixed engine oil leak. It was a lot of work but it was needed work and they guys at Anthem did a great job and the car now runs great. Give them a try.

I've called multiple times on very short notice (I wait until last minute to take care of my car) and although they were fully booked, they were so kind to always squeeze me in and were very nice about the fact that I didn't make appointments with solid lead time. The guys inside are friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to. I have had many (as I'm sure everyone has) bad experiences with car repair shops due to people taking advantage of my lack of knowledge about cars and doing what they can to get as much money--not this place! The guys here took the time to really explain things to me and went out of their way to make sure I wasn't paying for things I don't need. I mentioned I was in the process of looking for a new car, and they had genuine suggestions for cars to look at that you would expect to get from a caring parent or friend--they wanted to steer me in the right direction to keep maintenance low and to find a car that didn't need constant repairsreally great folks in here! They kept me in the loop with a phone call about what my car needed as well as a follow up text to let me know when it was complete. I went back nearly 3 months after my first and only visit, and they remembered me, my car, and our conversations from months prior--amazing! I could go on and on about specific experiences I've had with their team, but suffice to say, they are trustworthy and knowledgeable, decent people--something that is hard to find sometimes in this category of service. And to top it off, the lobby is very clean and comfortable with a Starbucks coffee machine.

I had an uncommon yet overwhelmingly positive experience with Anthem I think is worth highlighting. I came to Anthem because of the great reviews and reputation. Unfortunately, things didn’t turn out according to plan with my car repair. To make a long story short, I drove my car to Anthem and was then told I’d have to either pay a full repair (which I was not willing to pay given the current value of the car) or tow it out, since it was no longer running. Needless to say, I wasn’t thrilled. After exchanging multiple medical metaphors (“It feels like you went in to remove a tumor but instead took the whole limb”….“It’s more like we went in for heart surgery and the heart stopped beating”) I understood the mechanics of what happened, but it was really an unfortunate outcome for me as a client. In front of the situation, folks at Anthem bent over backward to make things right to ensure that I would be able to drive my car out of the shop - and for many more miles, as a matter of fact - even if it meant they had to bear a huge portion of the cost. As a business owner, I understand things don’t always go right with the work we do for clients. The good and honest business owner manages a healthy business where there is room to accommodate the need to take a hit when things unfortunately don’t go as planned, so that clients are treated fairly and go home happy. That’s hard to come by in the car repair industry but Wes at Anthem got it right. I’ll be going back to Anthem precisely for that reason.

Trust-worthy and great people. Moving to Atlanta as a young woman, I was nervous that a mechanic would rip me off. I took a chance with Anthem Automotive and it was a wonderful experience. They are kind and treat you how you want to be treated. I had an emissions problem that would cost me $700 to fix. Not many mechanics would pass up the money by saying, "your car is perfectly safe to drive with. They can text message to communicate, which I love. They even offered to pick up my car from my house. And when I picked up my car, I realized they'd vacuumed the front seat floor. Absolutely amazing service. My car (2006 Toyota Corolla) had a malfunctioning A/C system. I had been to two other shops and they gave conflicting reports as to what could wrong (one said an electric issue, the other was blaming my compressor). My father worked in mechanics so I know what both of those issues would cause - neither explained an A/C unit not blowing properly. I looked about this shop and called on a Friday - spoke with Forry who was super helpful and was able to get me in as soon as Monday (they are closed on weekends). He explained that they would run a full diagnostic and then let me know what the issue was, the cost, and the estimated time of pickup. Turns out my resistor and fan motor short-circuited. They ordered the parts for me (Factory parts that come with 3yr/36000mi warranty) and the total was super reasonable ($400 total parts and labor). I really appreciate the efficiency, information, and professionalism of the gentlemen that work here. The waiting area is nice too if you wanna wait for your car - totally recommend this place!

I had a fantastic experience at Anthem Automotive. The service is top-notch, and you can't be the quality, especially at the price. Plus, it is only about a block or 2 from Marta, so really easy to access public transit if you need it. I drive a 2004 F-150 truck, and after I had to replace the engine 5 years ago, I am determined to keep this thing running until the wheels fall off. The service engine soon light keeps turning on and off, and I have taken it to several mechanics around Atlanta to be checked. No one was able to locate a problem, and mechanics just kept charging me minimal fees to turn the light off. So, with the light back on recently, I took it to Anthem to have it looked at. Wes, the owner, spent the time to take apart the entire engine to examine every nook and cranny and accurately diagnose the issue. He has now saved me several future trips to mechanics and $$, and I feel safe and secure knowing that the problem has been fixed correctly. I am sold on Anthem, and will never use any other mechanic for my truck - whether it is a simple oil change or taking apart the entire engine.

I LOVE Anthem Automotive!! I completely trust them with my vehicle - they have proven to be both reliable and honest. On my first visit to Anthem, my car was making a strange sound and I had gone to another car shop and paid for repairs that didn't fix my issue. At Anthem, they correctly diagnosed the problem - and here's the crazy part, they didn't even make money off of me. They correctly diagnosed my car issue: my tire was coming apart, even dangerous to drive on. Anthem doesn't sell tires, so I went to elsewhere to get tires and it fixed the issue (for less than $200, not the $900 quoted me by the other car shop)! The other car shop had told me I needed new struts, but Anthem and another shop both confirmed this was not the case. When I went into Anthem for my most recent car issue, as usual, they took me out to my vehicle to show me the problem visually and explain the repairs they recommend. As a girl, I really appreciate them doing this, as it not only establishes openness but also helps me become more knowledgeable!

Wow! I finally found a shop in Atlanta that offers honest automotive service! Wes has saved me a lot of money by giving me honest estimates when other shops recommended I have unnecessary work done. If you've just been hit with a huge estimate from your auto service provider, do yourself a favor and stop by Anthem for a second opinion. There was Anthem Automotive with its clear glass windows. And then there was Jason Statham. Boy, is he handsome. I stopped into to Anthem when my whole dashboard light up (10 lights!) Wes assisted me, gave me a free diagnostic to make sure I could leave safely until my scheduled appt a few days later. He found out it was just a sensor issue and recommended I call VW (since I was still under warranty). Most mechanics would have tried to take my business, but he was honest and tried saving me the money. I ended up cancelling my appt at Anthem because VW fixed the issues for free, but can wait to visit Wes and his team again. This is car repair at its best! I usually don’t take the time to write customer reviews, but Anthem Automotive offers such an incredible experience that I needed to brag... My little Honda - with many road trips and “beauty marks” under its belt, needed about a day's worth of work on it (my personal estimate). I had it towed at 7 a.m. right when they opened, and by mid morning the entire job was complete. I tried the Saab dealer and another specialty shop, but left feeling scammed and talked down to every time. In total contrast, everyone at Anthem is professional, trustworthy, and kind. I have now been in multiple times for oil changes, to replace a part in the front driver window, and because my car randomly stalled at an intersection. Every single time, I've received an accurate quote and estimate of how long things will take. They've also been extremely honest and informative with what they felt was absolutely necessary and have never pushed me to get anything done. When I brought my car in because it was stalling, Wes drove it around Buckhead for an hour and couldn't recreate the issue. He called me back in, let me know that he felt it would be overly expensive to fix all of the things that could cause a stall, and then actually got in the car with me and showed me what to listen for to help narrow down the cause in case it happened again. After all of that, he didn't charge me anything at all because he felt bad he hadn't found anything specific. I haven't needed to bring it back since then, but would completely trust Anthem and what they suggest at this point.

I recently had work done on my 2003 Saturn Ion at Anthem Automotive, a new spot on the edge of Buckhead. I had my back break pads and rotors replaced, replaced my air filter and belt, threw in an oil change, and had unexpected muffler work done. Here's my review on certain aspects of Anthem: The price: Everything was 25% off for the first week of service and the oil change was only $9.99 as part of their first week deals! What would have cost me well over $500 ended up costing me at the high end of the $300s. Without the discount, Anthem's rate are comparable to other shops. The service: Top. Notch. The owner Wes and his service manager David were men of integrity. Being the cynic I am, and having been to many a shop before, I can honestly say that these dudes were completely honest. The didn't try to gouge me or offer me unnecessary services. They told me things to keep an eye out for, but wouldn't need serviced for a good 6 months to a year. This is the kicker though: when pulling my car up the ramp they just barely scraped my exhaust underneath, which was completely rusted out from many a brutal northern winters. The pipe totally snapped in the middle. It was hanging on by a thread. The next time I would have scraped it, it was a goner. They knew it and I knew it, but since it was on their property, they took care of it, no questions asked! I got a few hundred dollar repair done for free! The locale: The lobby is incredibly modern, clean, and comfortable. With coffee and free wifi, I just decided to hang around while my car was getting fixed up. While I didn't use it, they have a complementary shuttle that will drop you off at the Lindbergh MARTA station right down the road. All in all, the price and actual location were great, but it was the incredible service that got me. They hooked me up and bought a life customer!

I have never been inclined to write a review on any social media platform regarding service provided. David and the team at Anthem provided exemplary service when repairing the air conditioning for my 2007 SAAB 9-3. Upon initial diagnosis, David's team correctly noted a number of air conditioning related issues with my SAAB, in addition to other recommended service for my vehicle (which I accepted). Due in part to my unexpected need for these additional services, he was kind enough to throw in a free oil change. My car was ready for pickup within 24 hours. Upon return to their location, David informed me that the true culprit within my air conditioning system was a malfunctioning compressor. As one might expect, I was disappointed to learn of additional services that would need to be performed. David then relayed that they had already performed a full replacement of a new compressor for my car, free of charge. I brought my car to Anthem based on the high rating shown (4.9/5.0) and fully endorse this based on my own experience.

I usually split my repairs between the dealer and myself, depending on the complexity of the job. Stopped here as I had been curious as I watched them build the facility. Obviously this place is new, but you can always tell when someone cares about their facility. This place cares A LOT. And I couldn't say enough about my first experience here, either. Walked in to a clean, modern and well-kept lobby with comfortable couches and tables arranged for people to relax - just like in a coffee shop. And to that end, there is a complex Starbucks machine grinding fresh coffee to order and popping out a fresh-brewed cup of REAL coffee on-demand. Blonde and medium roast to suit your preferences. The manager was BEYOND helpful. Helped me research a part that I had been trying to find myself. The price of that part was also on-par with what I had found online. But the kicker was the labor to install it, less than 100 bucks and 1/4 of the time that the dealer said they needed to make the same repair. I don't think I could utter the word "yes" fast enough. My old truck was dead. I call these mechanical wizards to see if they could help. They were able to refer me to a tow service to get the truck to them. The tow service charged me less than they quoted me on the phone and had the truck to Anthem in less than two hours after my initial call. It was later in the day so they were not able to look at it until the morning. They called before I even got up the next day, the news was in, and the news was good. They found a problem in my engine and instead of taking a chainsaw to the operation, they got into it with the diligence of men on a mission. They pinpointed the problem and cut the prospective bill down by over 50%. They turned a 1 ton pile of metal, back into a beautiful working truck in less time than it takes Amazon to deliver a DVD under the best of circumstances. I will sing their praises to anyone that is in need of automotive work or repair, and I will also sing their praises to anyone that will listen. Could you go somewhere else and get similar service? Possibly, but when you encounter perfection, why on Earth would you continue to pilot your craft through the murky waters of automotive uncertainty If I could give them six stars I would..

I knew this guy Wes before he started the shop and he was a Mechanical Engineer traveling all over the nation(world?) because people needed his expertise in Industrial Engineering on their production lines (he's a brilliant, efficient engineer). And on the weekends he was fixing his friend's cars. Out of kindness and because he loved it! He worked for a while along side other mechanics to get a handle on the biz, and had gotten additional mechanic degrees and certifications beyond all of them so much so that one of his bosses almost insisted he wouldn't want to work with them because he was so far overqualified than himself and his other mechanics. Anyway, about the work. He did great work and stuck with it till we were done on my 1999 Honda Civic. He did the transmission flush and saved my $200-$300! I was with him through the whole process so I got to see his great problem solving skills. and he was kind in teaching me what he was doing along the whole way. He knew cars in general, and my car inside and out. And if there was anything else he needed he quickly knew which resources to tap. Got it all fixed up and it was running great at 240,000 miles when I sold it. I had him give my new car (2011 Civic) the one over too to make sure I didn't have to worry about anything. A+ for my car, and for him. His shop is a block or so away from a Marta station. It's beautiful and well thought out. And has top notch tools. A system to get parts from all over the city within 20 minutes. I trust this man with my cars. And he's just a fun, fantastic, Christian guy.

My self and another gentleman are in Buckhead from Louisiana for the past 3 months. My friend's AC stopped blowing cold air out of the passenger side vents, so he took it to Anthem, the problem was because he had put in a new battery 2 weeks prior. Was diagnosed by Wes, and corrected @ no charge. I decided to bring my Toyota in to check the brakes because they had a slight vibration. The folks @ Anthem could had replace needless parts, but instead gave my brakes a clean bill of health @ no charge. Wish I could move them to Louisiana, hope that Buckhead realizes what a great business this is and appreciates them. Thank you to the folks @ Anthem.

Picked Anthem based on the positive reviews here. My 07 Maz 3 threw a CEL for two failed sensors. While this turned into much more of a difficult (and expensive) repair than I was anticipating due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, Anthem kept me informed at every step and were very fair. These guys just can't be beat! My car died on the 285 and I had it towed to Anthem on a Sunday. Monday morning I get a call letting me know that they could fix it but in their opinion with the issues that they were seeing in the engine it wouldn't be worth the cost. It's rare to find guys that would rather lose a sale if it meant not being straight with someone but that is always how Anthem rolls. Then they go above and beyond, when I find someone to come haul the car away to the junkyard, they take care of handing over the keys and title so I don't have to run across town. These guys are one in a million! If you have ANY car problems take it to Anthem!!

Unparalled service - these folks really love their customers and go WAY above and beyond. Not only were they willing to talk us through everything the car needed, but in recognition of the terrible job that a previous shop had done, this shop gave us a discount...for a mistake that was NOT THEIRS! Wonderful - Wes really understands that care breeds customer loyalty. The will now be seeing every car in my family on a regular basis! It is also worth noting that upon arriving to pick up the car, the amount charged was EXACTLY what was promised - no hidden fees, undisclosed taxes, nothing. Also, Wes had taken out the broken part and kept it to show us just what the problem was. So then we're saying goodbye, and he mentions that they washed the car - our jaws dropped! Then they hit the floor when we went outside to find the car had not just been washed, it had been detailed - washed inside, seats shampooed, vacuumed - it looked like a new car (minus about 10lbs of dog hair - sorry whoever vacuumed the backseat!). This is the place to take your vehicle - nice people, doing quality work, and treating people honestly. Can't get better!!!
