Well, I guess I called the right brake shop. I didn’t ask a friend about where to take “Betty” our 2014 Toyota Highlander but the Brakes 4 Less on Tunnel Road was a pleasure to work with. Good response time on calls to their shop and accommodating with schedules for a free inspection. I was offered a comprehensive explanation of my vehicle’s brake condition and had an appointment the next day on the books. I was greeted with kindness and respect by Anne and David did fast work so I was out of the shop in less time tan quoted. It’s not always that srvice gets the acknowledgement it deserves but I am recommending this shop to hopefully provide you a similar experience. They even let me set up a small table in the lobby to conduct some business over their WiFi so I didn’t lose productivity for that time. Thanks, Matt

DUDE! this place is great idk why they don't have more stars. I didn't catch the man's name filling in at the desk, but customer service has been great every time I've been. The woman that's usually there is wonderful and was even super kind and friendly to my children. Service was fast af. Today they did my front rotors and brakes in 40 minutes. From the time I pulled in to the time I pulled out was 40 minutes! Health care workers also get a 10% discount. I'll definitely be going back. Thanks guys! Also, when I first took my car in they even brought me to look at my rotors and show me what was going on. They were super personable and tried to fully explain everything. Great great great service!

Unfortunately my mirror was damaged getting my truck on the lift; however, the manager Dave went above and beyond. He ordered me a new mirror, and actually replaced it himself! HIRE THESE GUYS!!! They are absolutely amazing, truly you will be treated like family when you come here! I’m from Mississippi, so I’m 10 hours from where I live and stranded. my camper van broke down.I went here and immediately was Blessed. The owner is incredibly diligent about the quality of work put out of this shop. No one had the parts or the capability of lifting my vehicle, in less than 3 weeks. Sure enough, my man Jabo was able to handle and do my brakes in lightning speed. Seriously all the employees were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable! So all in all if there was a 100 star rating I’d give it! Price was great! Truly a spectacular place! God bless these guys!

The guy I had to deal with was someone named Thomas and he was really kind and honest about my car! Had an appointment at 2:00pm and got out of there at 3:55pm. I had to go last week because I let my brakes get terrible. I paid a pretty penny but for service that I received and with everything that I got done. I think I got excellent service, especially since my parts had to be ordered Friday around 4 and got them put on Saturday. Out 5 stars, I give them 10. Them guys are jam up, no questions asked!

Had an appointment at 4 today to get my brakes changed. I was in and out in less then an hour and I had a lifetime warranty on them so it was totally free. I had my five year old with me and the guy at front desk was very nice to him even though hes a handful. Very nice people. Will be going back!

So I did give this place 5 stars because it will save you the shop fee ($11) if you show it to them. However, definitely not the nicest breaks for less I've been to! They did get the jobs done, new breaks and resurface the rotors for like $150 on wednesday but I got there for my appointment at 130 and didn't leave it just after 5!! Their office was not clean and could use some work to make the place look better. The guy sitting in the office was not the friendliest guy. Then at the end made sure I'll never go back. I wanted the $159 package and the total came to over $250 they tried to say they had to replace my hardware and upgraded my package. Yet i sat in the waiting room the whole time so they could have easily came over and talked to me about it. I never asked for that so I refused to pay the upgrade. I feel like they tried to take advantage of me because I'm a young woman. So an overall bad, way to long experience (always a good and easy 1 hour process in jacksonville fl) however, they did get the work done, breaks are good, and I only paid $145 for the $159 package on 15% off Wednesday and gave a review for a free shop fee. Sometimes the price isn't worth the hassle so I wont be going back again.

I arrived with no appointment. Dave immediately found an opening. I had to wait a little bit but that's fine. Turns out my brakes were worse than I thought. These guys ordered the part and had the car ready still on the same day...we thought.... Turns out the master cylinder was bad too. Dave and team had me bring the car back the very next day when they took the car in and fixed it as soon as I walked in the door. I spoke with the staff briefly and they were all friendly and efficient. Seriously good work guys. It was my pleasure to do business with you.

My breaks had been making a grinding noise and as I was coming down the interstate my "service brakes system" lights and dinging came on. I immediately went to breaks 4 less with out an appointment hoping I could be seen today. The guys told me it would be no problem to look at my truck and to give them a little bit to check it out. Once they came in to get me to show me what the problem was it was very clear that both back breaks, hardware, drums everything had to be replaced. They were very nice worked with me on the price and even let me use their charge box to charge my phone! Dave the owner was extremely nice and done everything he could for me! My break job would have literally costed more then I could have ever afforded any where else! I HIGHLY recommend Dave and his crew and will go back for sure especially since I now have life time warranties! Dave seriously saved my little family soooooo many problems by working with me on every thing and for that I'll be for ever grateful! Good Karma Dave 😉

I came in at the end of the day about 30min before closing...Dave took one look at my brakes and instead of making me come back in the morning, himself and his staff stayed late to fix my brakes to keep myself and my son safe!!! I was in and out in about an hour. They do a thorough inspection of what your cars undercarriage needs.(meaning shocks/struts,tires)they'll let you know.i visited it yesterday thinking maybe I may need new brakes?the tech. Told me that the brakes were good for a few more months,I had to spend no $.in my opinion,any lesser(smaller garage)may have just went ahead and replaced the brake pads and charged just for more money made! I highly recommend the brakes-4-less in Asheville,n.c. the tunnel road location. (Quick thorough service,and most of all a good price and HONESTY)

Excellent brake service. I pulled in there yesterday and my truck was shaking violently when i stepped on the brake .They rebuilt my calipers and machined my rotors. Within two hours i was back out the door with what drove like a brand new truck.Manager was extremely professional. Everyone needs to visit Brakes-4-Less (Tunnel Road, Asheville, NC). Bobby and team went above and beyond with the level of service they provided to me. I just went in for front brakes and asked them if they could identify why my car was pulling to left when braking. They diagnosed it and made the repairs, but the problem still existed. They diagnosed twice more and finally fixed the problem. My car was not safe and I had been driving it for over a year with this issue. Bobby explained the safety issues and ensure me and my children will be safe after their repairs were completed. Even though it took 3 times to get the fix, they made it well worth my while! Please try them out... you will be pleased! :)

That is an expensive fix, but they were honest and told me they were still fine and didn’t need to be replaced for a good bit. These guys are good at what they do. They helped me with a junker of a 92 Camaro and gave me brakes and peace of mind I can count on. I just went back for my second appointment to get my brakes checked for some bad squeaking and scrubbing. Turns out my rear left bearing is getting bad but they adjusted it for the time being and I drove off without paying a cent thanks to the Free Parts and Labor Warranty. Noone's perfect and I wished they had noticed that the first time but hey, they fixed it. That's all I care about. Thank you guys!

While Buck is a good guy and is working with relatively new staff who do a good job, I had to wait 5 hours in the facility for work to be completed. This rating would be four stars if Buck would have told us (two distinct customers) early in the process the work was going to take longer than expected. I intend to return to them for further work. My college child called to say he heard some squeks and couldnt remember the last time brakes were changed..i sent my child in and fully expected to replace pads..they called and told me my brakes had 75% remaining ..no charge..i then asked about doing a fluid replaced since i never do that on my home brake job..it was a fair price..i had it done and was in and out in minutes..so happy to have found an express brake shop that is as quick and easy as getting an express oil change..btw my 5 star review is genuine..there are only 2 types of reviews i ever spend the time writing about..either im really upset or really happily surprised..and brakes4less was a great experience fo me today.

This Brakes For Less does not live up to its name and runs game, the classic bait and switch. On the phone they quoted me a great price for brake pads all for wheels! Then at the shop, they would not print out an estimate! Then when my truck has all four wheels off, they said they only change pads if also I get the "kit" Now they want twice as much to change pads, and again they will not print out a written estimate saying "Im telling you how much it costs" Which he hand writes on paper. Now the price is back to typical market price. But Im taking my business to where there are no games. Then I came back on a Wednesday and got a discount which was a fair price. And maybe I did need a kit, The waiting room has fast WiFi and T.V. with option to change channels.
