The owner Rasim is a very honest shop owner. He goes above and beyond for his customers. I am an auto technician and I recently was hired by Rasim and I am very pleased about the way he runs the shop. I have quit other shops because of dishonesty to customers and over charging. I highly recommend this shop if you want honesty and quality work. Best prices in town from oil changes to engine installation and everything in between

I’ve known Rasim for about 20 years. He’s always been up front and very honest. He took my father in laws vehicle on short notice for an oil change and discovered a leaking rear differential. I cannot say enough amazing things about this shop! My friend’s sprinter van was smoking and she was (understandably) freaking out and they quickly and efficiently not only solved the issue but helped my friend feel more calm about the state of her van. His pricing was sooo fair it almost felt like he was undercharging for the services he provided and the entire staff was kind, friendly, communicative, and efficient. 10/10 recommend, honest and amazing mechanics are treasures!

Being a mechanic of sorts myself (aircraft experience) yet with my lack of diagnostic tooling, space and resources, I sometimes know my limits. I troubleshot up to the point of knowing an aging fuel pump was at least part of my problem. Jameson gave me a straight forward estimate on that job. Within a day or so he call advising me that was half but not all of the problem. He further estimated that another hour of troubleshooting might reach the final conclusion. He called me soon to assure me that those two issues together were solving the problem. No problem, no surprises on the estimate for the labor, to include the part replaced, the fuel pump. I read before my visiting that there were people stating that the folks at Timi’s are honest. Add another one to that list. I’ll be back. honest folks that do good work as promised.

Great service, had trouble finding a place with availability to switch out tires quickly they fit us in. Followed by my wife dropping of her car for the same and an inspection of her vehicle. Great front office staff and hard working mechanics. Looks like we found our new go to place.

I love that they're open on Saturdays! Yay! They were recommended by the guys at O'Reilly Auto Parts on Old Seward/Walmart parking Lot. They were upfront, clear about the prices,labor fee & realistic on time frame that they would be finished. Would use them again.

My truck broke down at the grocery store on a weekend I was in town visiting family. I called them up on a Saturday afternoon, they got me right in, and had my truck running with a new starter in less than 2hrs. The repair price was very reasonable too. I highly recommend!

The owner was awesome and actually helped me out free of charge. I have a sealed unit for my transmission fluid so I thought I needed fluid and after opening it and realizing I did not need fluid, he did not charge me. No other shop would have done that. Very fair people.

I had my rear axle seal and bearings plus rear rotors and pads replaced, they were done in a reasonable time frame and it's performing as it should, the owner and his wife are very nice to deal with also.

I stopped by and asked if I could fill a tire that was low. They immediately said yes and asked me to pull the car to bay 3. The tire pressure was very low and Jeremy asked if I would like him to check for a leak. He took the car in right away and found a nail that was not visible to the eye. He quickly plugged the tire and I was on my way in less than 20 minutes. Absolutely outstanding experience. Highly recommend. I was so thankful for the help!

I have had 2 really great experiences at Timi’s Alpina repair. First was sort of an emergency…winter and heat didn’t work and was just picked up from the ferry in Whittier headed to Wasilla. I called and the owner said we are so busy, wait let me ask the mechanic. They fit us in, we needed it done that day and they delivered. First impression was a saving grace for us. Second, I have an import and wasn’t sure if I should go anywhere but the dealer. A valuable concept was reinforced today. Years of experience and wanting to do the right thing for your customer will win anytime over a dealership. I highly recommend this shop!

Excellent service! Fast, friendly and informative. Rasim quoted us quickly for the work, got us in the next day. Gave us options for the various repairs depending on how much we wanted to spend. Day of work Rasim stayed in touch with updates and recommendations. Work done on time and was exactly what we were told would be done. When picking up the truck he showed me all the used parts, explained what was wrong with them and why they chose the type or brand of parts they used. No BS. Highly recommend!

I needed a New high performance torque convertor swapped out in 5 days due to the warranty period ending , I saw all the excellent reviews on Facebook, and called Rasim , he said he could do it the next day, when I went out to meet him , the shop was very Clean and professional- I had somehow never heard of Timi’s Alpina repair , but they did an excellent job , and had it done before I got off work the next day , Thank you Rasim , I will be back , Highly recommend, Mechanic Ryan , did an excellent Job , Thank you

It's very difficult to find an honest Mechanic in today's world. I am beyond impressed with not only the customer service but also the transparency, honesty, and the workmanship. Rasim and his crew are top notch humans on top of being well trained and honest mechanics. Geanny at the front desk was also a real pleasure. I wouldn't look anywhere else in the state for all of your mechanical or automotive needs. After attempting to work with other shops in town, Rasim was able to not only beat the prices but informed me that the mechanics at the other shops were trying to sell me/ repair items that didn't need service. Timi’s Alpina is the best shop in town! They got my car in right away and saved me from spending more money than necessary. In fact, I spent less than what I expected to be the minimum! I am a natural skeptic when it comes to auto shops, afraid of getting screwed over or having “new” problems all of a sudden. But this shop has helped me with many many repairs on a car that was greatly neglected by its previous owner. And all repairs were done with reasonable prices, honesty, and quick time. Even the repairs that other shops would charge outrageously for. My car is finally running smoothly and with no problems, and I’m very grateful, especially since I need my car to work properly to do delivery services. Timi’s Alpina saved me $3200, yes, you read that right. Midas tried to scam me saying my head gasket was blown and my coolant and oil was mixing, telling me it would cost $3700 to repair and I took it to Timi’s instead to get it worked on and I’m glad I did. Rasim was honest and showed me that my coolant and oil were not mixing and my head gasket was not blown. Repair came out to be $531. I’m so grateful to have brought my car here and had it worked on by honest, kind, and hardworking people! Recommend for sure.

Great professional service. I needed my breaks changed on my BMW and took it in for estimate to the dealer. They quoted me a very high price so I decided to go to Timi’s Alpina. They not only changed my breaks for the most affordable price in town but also drove me to work and brought my car to me after I told them I was on my lunch break and in a rush. I couldn't be happier. I got referred by a friend and after talking with the owner I took my Tahoe in. Over 200,000 miles and I thought it was through because it was handling so poorly. A day later he called and said it was ready to be picked up. Very thorough going over everything and called before he did any work. It was thousands less then expected and its running like it hasn't in years. I'm recommending this place to everyone for now on.

Rasim listened really well to the issues with the truck : brakes were completely shot (had to drive before traffic at 6 am in the morning to avoid traffic ) and something was seeming to drain the battery (I thought it was the alternator) . I was able to drop off the truck and he said he’d get it as soon as he could that day! I’m like take your time I’ll need it in a couple of days. Next day I received the call that it was ready ... Rotors were grinding metal on metal with one busted caliper and battery cables were needing adjusting . I didn’t get charged for extra services like when you take your vehicle to other shops in town !!! Really Amazing low labor costs and no extra parts needed for repairs ! Rasim shows you the bad parts for peace of mind so you don’t feel like you have Been swindled. Truly honest, super quick and extremely efficient. I had an emergency where the cover on the bottom of my car broke loose and was plowing up snow. I couldn't get under there myself. I could barely drive. I called two other shops before calling Alpina. Both said they had just closed and even though I explained it was an emergency they wouldn't help. Alpina said they were closed too but to come over anyway and they would help out! I am soooo grateful! They were fast, friendly, affordable, and even funny! They turned a bad situation right around and I'm very thankful! I'll for sure be going back! Great mid town location as well! Also don't miss admiring the cool welded medal ostrich by the front door:)
