This is one of the best places hands down. They've worked on my Audi, and just recently my truck and will eventually my C8 corvette. They're very nice and very reasonably priced. One quote I got from one place was $3800 decided to go with Meineke again and it was $2000 for the same job. I was not disappointed. Bill was an Awesome guy and answered all questions, and Martin even reached out directly to make sure everything was good.

The staff over at Meineke are great. I visited the Alameda location looking to have my timing belt changed, and they got the job done in a matter of hours. Martin was very accommodating and understanding with what I wanted done and what I would fix myself; and continued to check in to ensure that my car was running well and the job was done right. It's been running like a dream for over 2 months and 2,000 miles now. If I run into any problems, I know the Meineke crew will be there to help.

I was impressed with my first visit. I thought my catalytic converter was rattling and needed replaced. I brought it in for my scheduled appointment, they checked it out and found the cat converter was fine, but the fuel line was rattling. They secured the fuel line and did a good vehicle inspection, then sent me the inspection report with recommendations. No pressure to fix anything else, just “here is what we see.” A less honest shop could have changed the converters and charged me a lot more when they did not need to be changed. I also appreciated the quick turnaround and follow up by the owner to see how my service experience went. I will be bringing my vehicles here from now on.

Seriously, the BEST customer service and extra quality of work in everything I need to get done. Also, as a woman, I never feel like they rope me into doing things that do not need to be done. Instead they show what’s going on, explain and have visuals with what’s going on and they will say something to keep in mind to get done eventually. I love this Meineke and will always go there. These are very friendly people. They worked tirelessly to repair my blower fan. The motor that came in first did not fit perfectly, so they ordered a second one. Because the delivery of the second motor was going to be delayed, they went and picked it up. This considerate action made it possible for me to meet an appointment scheduled for that afternoon. I consider Meineke an excellent repair shop. Maintaining a 19 year old car is difficult and can be expensive. The folks at Meinike are friendly to work with and do a superb job. They diagnose quickly and provide the repair needed without trying to push additional work. Their charges are fair and show that they want to be helpful and not take advantage of their clients.

They did a really good job aligning my 3rd gen 4runner after I upgraded the suspension and added larger tires. Before the suspension felt lose and noisy. After the alignment it was solid and tight. Great pricing only $150.

We were in Albuquerque for a vacation and had the engine light come on our Ford Focus. Stopped here and the mechanic did a complementary diagnostic test for us. He said the issue was probably the thermostat but that we should be able to get back home (Austin, TX) fine, and yes we made it home OK. Brought it to the local Meineke here in Austin, and yes the issue was with the thermostat. Next time we're in ABQ and have car trouble this is where we'll be going. Thank you.

This place has the best customer service! My husband found a screw in one of my van’s tires and when I called Meineke, Martin answered and said they could check out my car the next day!! I took my van in the next day and Martin and another great gentleman greeted my little kiddos and me. They had us wait in their waiting area and within minutes, one of the staff came and showed me the screw and where it was found. He went on to explain why it didn’t need to be patched and I really appreciated that. My tire didn’t need to be changed, nor did it need to be patched and THEN when I asked him how much I owed them, he said NO CHARGE!!! Wow! Thank you for your excellent service, care, kindness and generosity. This is officially our family’s first choice for auto care. Blessings to you all at San Pedro Meineke!!

One of the most kindest & best car care center in Albuquerque. I had began breaking down off the highway near this car center, I barely made it there & when I did I had asked I for some help. I began to let him know my issue & if we could possibly scan my vehicle, he did not even hesitate to get the scanner to help me. Now at this time it was near closing & he did not mind at all to help & to give me more information about the problem. Once we figured out the issue he unhooked & I asked “how much will this be for the scanning fee?” He said nothing. He told me things happen & people always need help that’s what we’re here for, I was speechless. I wasn’t able to move my vehicle so I asked the question if I could use the parking lot till my Fiancés towing company came from Gallup to come bring me back, he said again that’s not a problem, if this isn’t the best of kindness I’m not sure what is, I cannot express or even let you know how thankful I am for you & this company here. My car was towed to this AAA approved shop after a collision with debris on the freeway. Bill, the Service Manager, was wonderful doing the assessment of the damage and contacting the insurance adjuster. He determined that he and his colleagues did not have the tools needed to fix the damage and suggested I contact a body shop. His kindness, professionalism and knowledge are much appreciated.

This is a wonderful store that will complete the work quickly, professionally, and in a friendly manner. They’ll explain everything they do and why they think it should be done and make sure to get your okay before doing anything else. As a young woman, I go into any car repair shop guarded, ready to be overcharged, have repairs done I didn’t ask for, lied to, or talked over. This was definitely not the case at Meineke in Albuquerque. I arrived at the store during balloon fest, an undoubtedly busy time, and they still managed to get me in for an oil change within the hour. I mentioned there was a rattle and I believed it was the heat shield, and they repaired it (and the repair has lasted so far despite rough roads and driving all the way to LA). I also mentioned I was shopping for tires and thought I might need an alignment, as I’d gotten stuck in mud, and the owner took the time to research some tires for me, consult on whether I needed an alignment done, and let me know how much tread was left on my tires. I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this Meineke and felt respected and taken care of.

I contacted Meineke (San Pedro/Alameda location)as I am planning a road trip; wanted make sure I wouldn’t have any problems. They did a brake inspection as I suspected the brakes may be ready for replacement. To my surprise they sent me digital reports of the inspection and all was good! I arrived within 15 minutes of closing to request a quick assessment of warning alerts on my dashboard and the manager not only said he would be happy to assess, he ended up doing a complete diagnosis and told me how to correct it and where to get the auto part. When I asked how much I owed him for this priceless and timely help, he would not accept remuneration. All the opposite of the service I received at Firestone Auto Care up the street.

I had a rear suspension problem for a while and read online what it could be. Didnt fix right away as don't drive much and thought repair would be expensive. Took car to another shop and they couldn't find problem . I've used my nearby Meineke before and know they're suspension experts. They listened to my problem and evaluated the car and found a minor problem that they quickly fixed at a tenth of what I thought the cost would be. I was expecting $700-1000 and ended up costing $150..I am elated. Totally nice experience. Great staff, clean and comfortable waiting area with wi fi. They show u on computer monitor where the problem is and bring out the old parts too. I'll be using them all the time as close to my home and they're so th he way u would want your repair shop to be! And special shootout to Bill who handled my transaction with professionalism. I can be kindly grumpy but he made me feel great and took all kinda time to see things were done right. Thanks.

Professional and honest. Never perform work that my car does not need. The integrity of a mom and pop shop with the technology and training of a big shop. This is where you should be taking your car, every time. Just took my car back for brakes. They told me I only needed the front done, and with their rewards program, pads and rotors were free. Only paid for labor. This is the absolute best car repair facity in the state of New Mexico.

We all want to find that family-run place with honest, capable mechanics, friendly service, and reasonable prices to do work on our vehicles. This is that place! Brothers Carlos and Martin run a great shop! They are willing to tell me when something isn't worth fixing on an older vehicle; they are willing to chat with me about car issues. They always take care of me, especially if something doesn't go according to plan. I feel perfectly comfortable taking all my vehicles there. And, my wife feels perfectly fine going in there, as well. She has not always felt that way about other shops... some places she feels like the mechanics are condescending to her, but she's always had great experiences with Meineke on San Pedro. I recommend all my friends go there.

Leaving this review because I got a leak in my tire while driving and barely made it to their shop. Spotted a leak in my car but wasn't sure how serious it would be. Had a friend who recommended I go to this location. I'm not really a fan of chain stores but this location was different. Rather than seeking an opportunity to overcharge me on unnecessary repairs that would profit them at my expense, I was recommended an extremely simple and affordable option. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for an honest assessment on their vehicle to come here. Overall, I would say I was impressed with the customer experience. It's worth giving them a shot if you can.

Having been grifted by other mechanic places, I was a bit wary. But Meineke sent me photos of the repairs and problems, ( digital, right to my phone!)and also quoted well within my expected budget. They also were able 2 fix it within the same day, and they gave a 24000 miles 2 year warranty on all the work and parts. I was really impressed with how thorough they were. Will definitely use this place again.

In typical Abq fashion some scumbag tried to steal the catalytic converter off of my truck. They failed and made a mess out of my exhaust. I called early Monday morning and they were able to get me in and diagnose and fix my exhaust as well as the damaged 02 sensor all within a reasonable time. Carlos and his crew were spot on. I would use again and highly recommend.

Martin was a great guy! We were stranded right next to his shop coming from Denver, and luckily for us he was at his shop doing simple maintenance to his cars (wasn't open). He went the extra mile and helped us get our car back up and running on his own time. Within hours he got us going. Giving a great price on replacement parts he had in stock and for the ones he didn't have he refered us to a shop that did (Labor day weekend). With great prices and quality work go to Martin over at Meinike! Local guy that wants to have a great relationship with the community. We only use this location for are vehicle. We can call one evening and they always get us in the next day. We always have an amazing experience with each of the workers, they are courteous, kind and respectful. They explain what’s wrong with our car to me(and I’m a female) in plain words . While driving cross country I needed to get my oil changed so I stopped in here. The man behind the counter got me in immediately because someone never showed up for their appointment. While the changing the oil the mechanic noticed the breaks were worn down to 1mm, a strut was leaking, and a nail in the tire. They gave me a quote and told me how long it would take. The man behind the counter told me of some things to do while I waited and even offered to call me a car. Their waiting are was pretty cool, so I waited there for a while and eventually went to go get some food. I got a call 15 minutes later saying the car was ready to go. They finished an hour early!! I paid them and went on my way. Courteous staff, quick work, and a fair price. Their work is also warranted for a while after just in case anything breaks. I’ve put about 1500 miles on the car since then and everything is holding up. I highly recommend this location and Meineke as a brand.

We are from Texas, driving through New Mexico onward to Colorado when the car battery began to fail. We stopped at Meineke Car Car center, and we had to replace the alternator, to which the technician said that it would take a day as they are fully backed up with service orders. I had explained that we were headed to Colorado, that day and we had no place to say over here. Understanding that we were tourists due to the Texas licence plate, they agreed to fix our car while we waited at the food court next to Meineke Car Car Center called Tin Can Alley (a fantastic food court). Thanks to their exceptional service and empathy, our trip did not get derailed. I also want to give a special mention to Martin Segura (Owner/Manager), who took the time in explaining the problem with the car, and his high level of professionalism.

I called at 10:30 at night thinking that I could just leave a message for somebody to call me. This was a Saturday night. To my surprise somebody answered the phone! Granted it was forwarded to a call center but they were very professional and scheduled me in for the next available time. First thing Monday morning, I received a call from the manager to find out how they can compare for my scheduled appointment. Moreover, they repaired my car, communicated throughout the process, and I got my car back the same day. There is a clear reason why this place receives such high ratings. True professionals!

Outstanding service. We were traveling from Taos to southern New Mexico and our truck was running running rough on the interstate. We did a quick search for Meineke and were seen quickly. The technician did a test drive and determined the back wheels were not balanced as either a weight had fallen off or something else was causing it to be out of balance. I felt I had to give these guys a review. I found them through Costco's Auto Care service, I checked them out online, and found that they are ASE certified, used by some of the big Insurance companies, and they have a pretty good reputation. Sounded pretty good, so I gave them a call to get a quote. I scheduled an appointment for a week out. When I got there they told me the situation, that one of their mechanics had to call in, that's understandable and I sympathize. I decided to wait and see if they could fit me in despite the possibility it may be there quite late. After waiting a bit, they were able to get an alignment done(which was a superb job) but unable to get my brakes done and unfortunately they weren't going to be getting to it that night. They were able to get me in at a convenient time the next day, I came in, and they got the job done quickly and they were able to remedy the situation to my satisfaction, and they did a great job. Great, fast, and actually friendly service. I usually do all of my own car maintenance, but changing out the cabin air filter on my Mazda requires you to take out the front panel. No thanks. I called Meineke and was told they could squeeze me in in between appointments. I went in and they were able to change out the filter in under 30 minutes! Cost was about half of what I was quoted at jiffy lube and tires plus. And while I was waiting I talked to one of the mechanics about some of my upcoming maintenance and asked some questions about a hitch installation. I got quotes for everything and there was no push to get anything else done. I've heard great things about this particular Meineke, and I have to agree. It's the highest rated shop in town for a reason!

My wife's van was towed to this Meinke Car Care shop after rupturing its oil pan from tangling with a rock slide near Los Alamos. It was late on a Friday afternoon, but Carlos and Martin got my wife an Uber ride to a car rental company, promised to check out the van first thing Saturday morning, had a new oil pan delivered by Monday morning and the initial repair and diagnostics finished by early afternoon. Unfortunately the engine was damaged beyond repair by the loss of oil, but Carlos and Martin worked diligently with our insurance company to determine whether to replace the engine or write off the van as a total loss. Ultimately a total loss was determined by the insurance company. During this entire process, Carlos and Martin were great to work with, very understanding of our predicament, and always fair and honest. We feel lucky to have been towed to their shop.

Our car was smoking under the hood and they were willing to help us on short notice. Parts charges, however, are *expensive* (standard ceramic brake pads at $88/ea) and labor charges are not actual (computer says to charge you 6 hours of labor for this... but the job is finished and car picked up in three.) These two drawbacks may easily double the price of a basic brake job or other services.

Last week, I did oil change myself but had trouble to take the filter off. Since I thought that it was Meineke to replace the filter last time, I went to its store for help. When the car was raised at the store, I saw that I was wrong because the filter's brand name did not belong to them. But the owner was still willing to keep his words to remove the stuck filter for free. Although it did take some time and his effort to take it off, he still did not accept my offer to pay his kindly work. I highly appreciate his service and recommend everyone to use his service. At least, he provides a warranty after his service.

Got a warning light on my car about tire pressure. Went to a gas station and bought a tire pressure gauge, only to find it maxed out at 50psi, and my big van tires were 80psi. Went to Meineke and was helpfully taken care of. We were just passing through town, but were treated like a long term customer. Yes, he got out a truck tire gauge, checked all our tires competently, put some air in our back one's as needed, and all at no charge. That wouldn't get me on to Google to write a review. Only been once but it seems like a very reliable and trustworthy place. Went in for a oil change and radiator flush. I knew there were some issues with the brakes so I asked them to look at the brakes while they had the car lifted up. They were happy to do so and confirmed my suspicions that the pads had worn down to far. Replaced the rotors and pads at a discounted price and I used a coupon to get 10 dollars off the oil. All in all $350 for everything, which seem pretty fair to me.

Everyone if you are having any problems with your car come to this place. My sweet friend Kieren and I We’re on our way from Phoenix to Colorado when we noticed a grinding sound in our back right wheel. It was coming out of the Chick-fil-A parking lot when we first heard the sound. I took a break from eating my sandwich to see what was going on and could not find the problem. Luckily we were right by these guys and took our car in. They immediately were able to help us diagnose the problem and fix and replace the bearing without overcharging. It was 5:30 on a Saturday evening when we pulled into the Albuquerque Meineke on San Pedro just off of 25, hoping they were open. They weren't, but four employees came into the parking lot anyway to see if they could help. After examining our tires and looking under our hood, they refilled our coolant for free and assured us that the shaking wasn't dangerous and that we would be able to make it to Colorado that night.
