Had a collision oct 2022 since I have an older vehicle Quanz recommended totaling it or coming here. They couldn’t get me an appointment til Feb 2023 but definitely made up for it. got it done in a week and my trucks new and shiny again 😌 I can’t thank y’all enough for the honesty and taking care of my vehicle as if it was their own. Keep up the amazing work!

The first thing I noticed was their lobby was extremely clean and welcoming. Then everyone at Jay Walton was friendly, upfront and honest about the cost for collision repair for my truck. It took a while to get on the schedule to get the repairs done because of backlog, but once I dropped my truck off, it took a reasonable amount of time to complete the work. When I picked up my vehicle, the work done was fantastic and done very professionally.

Great first time experience with Jay Walton Automotive located in Albuquerque on Central between Eubank and Wyoming. Made an appointment, showed up and they started working on my vehicle right away, and were ahead of schedule getting the work completed. I waited in the reception area while the work was being done, and I was very impressed at the professionalism of the staff greeting customers and answering their questions. Everyone who went in was extremely happy with the services they received. I was also impressed at how clean the building was! I will use them again, and highly recommend to anyone needing automotive work done.

My car got hit. Much to my dismay, the responsible party could not be located and I had to get my vehicle repaired on my own. Jay Walton did a wonderful job of repairing my vehicle. It looks brand new. Its running great. Everything went very smoothly and was completed on time. They even washed my car before giving it back. Although I am disappointed about having to pay my deductible, I'm really happy with my repairs. I hope I never have to go thru this process again. However, if I do, at least I know where to go. Everyone was so friendly and competent about the whole process.

Took my car in for a serpentine belt replacement that they recommended n now my radiator is leaking bad. Nothing was leaking before! My engine overheated quickly n now i need a radiator replacement n most likely my thermostat. How ironic is that that i take it in n that same day my radiator is leaking not just alittle bit gushing. I never take my car in that shop again!

I am writing a post about this place and they didn't even work on my car. I broke down in Albuquerque and AAA recommended this place. They diagnosed the problem quickly and accurately. It was electronic and recommended that for speed I take it to the dealership. They were friendly, fast, and honest. They didn't even charge me a diagnosis fee. If I lived here, I would make this my go to mechanic. Thanks for your help, you made my breakdown during a road trip as easy as it could be.

The initial survey I was sent I gave eighths on my review and it was because I had an unresolved problem when I got my truck end of day on a Friday. On Monday I took the truck in told him my cruise control wasn’t working and it had worked prior to the attempted theft and burglary of my vehicle and Jacqueline was great! No questions no problems she had me bring the truck back told me it would take an hour to check the cruise control and when I got the truck back in an hour the cruise control was fixed. Other than the three unforeseen needs to wait on parts I feel Jay Walton did an excellent job. We can’t ignore Covid problems getting parts delivered in a timely fashion. So kudos to Jay Walton I would recommend and will take any vehicles that I need serviced back.

Learned about Jay Walton Automotive because they are AAA approved facility. A neighbor's dog had put some scratches on both sides of my truck. They gave me an estimate to have the scratches buffed out. They seemed very knowledgeable and professional and I asked them for estimates for other work I need might need to have done such as a tune-up. I will update this review once I've had work done there in the next week or two!

Brought my vehicle here after being involved in an accident so I mostly dealt with the collision side of the business. I had to go through my insurance and although I had many issues with my insurance company that prolonged the entire process, the shop did a fantastic job once I did finally get my car back. My car looks brand new and I feel that Jaclyn went above and beyond to help me deal with my insurance company and was just overall super helpful throughout the whole process. I had one headlight replaced and one restored and I can’t tell the difference because their headlight restoration job was 10/10.

Where do I begin? I have had Jay Waltons put two transmissions in two disentangle vehicles over the years. Had to have vehicles repaired after accidents. AAA towed my car here to have 2 flat tires inspected for repair. The people here were all friendly and engaged. My tires could not be repaired and so I bought new ones, which were very well priced. While I was there I was able to watch them help several other customers and I was impressed with the way they were so consistently personable and knowledgable in the way they explained problems and answered questions. Took in my 2004 mini Cooper S type to put on a carbon fiber hood. They did a wonderful job, customer service was excellent absolutely is a five-star place. Casey was wonderful and always a step ahead of my requests. definitely a full-service shop. They took care of my power steering leak found a leak in my oil pan took care of the worst problem of the two, and I’m definitely going back to get the oil pan work. Absolutely would recommend them to anyone the work was five star. They also washed and cleaned the outside of my car before they returned it back to me. My mini Cooper looks amazing with the carbon fiber hood they also did a few other things that I didn’t even remember to tell them about. My 2004 mini Cooper looks brand new again.

I worked with Jay Walton a year ago (4/2020) and I felt that I had been treated fairly and well. That is why I took my car in for an estimate earlier this month after someone had backed into my car in a parking area. The original estimate indicated that it might require a couple of hours of labor to take care of the damage in the front. I took my car in a few days later, prepared to sit and wait for two hours. However, when the techs got to my car they found that the damage could be eliminated by popping back in that which had originally appeared to be broken in places, and dismantling was not required. That was good news. The news got better, as I was informed that there was no charge. I was glad not only for the honesty shown by the folks at Jay Walton, but also that my initial instinct about this business was spot-on.

One of the best experiences I have had in awhile. After being hit, the experienced staff walked me through the insurance steps resulting in a painless and somewhat pleasant experience. The work on the bumper was exceptionally done while the custom wiring and high quality parts was a rather pleasant surprise. WOW - this is the second time we've needed the services of Jay Walton Automotive. The first time they repaired extensive hail damage on our Subaru Outback. They did a completely beautiful job - the large dimples were everywhere and when they finished there was NO EVIDENCE anywhere of the mess we brought them. The workmanship / expertise was simply amazing. A little over a month ago I was rear-ended in our Forester. The rear bumper flat-out exploded from the impact and the under carriage was damaged, and a whole mess of other things were damaged. The timing has been unfortunate due to the consequences of COVID-19 but JWA hung in there even with all the delays for parts, etc. They kept us informed all along the way and were so professional, thorough, AND thoughtful. I got to pick up my car this afternoon - no detail was overlooked and their work was, again, completely FABULOUS. I am grateful because there are less than 40,000 miles on the car (we tend to drive our cars forever) for it to look shabby while it is this 'young' would be very disappointing. It looks beautiful inside and out and the smashed back end is a distant memory. Every aspect of both repairs was better than we could have imagined. I HIGHLY recommend Jay Walton Automotive. Our car have been towed to Jay walton because AAA has recommended us to send it there. We don't know much about mechanic, but everything sounded super pricey. Man labor was between $48/h and $80/h. The work they performed on our car, however, was just amazing, the front and driver's door were completely crashed, but when we got our car back it was better looking that ever before, and everything works perfectly. Their paint is life guaranteed. The facility is really welcoming, with all sorts of coffee and tea, and sitting area, and the staff is courteous and helpful

My folks had recommended Jay Walton to me to take a look at my car a while back. These guys are 100% customer service oriented. They fixed up my baby in a couple days and didn't try to price gouge me. Having such a great experience, we decided to take my wife's car in to have it looked at. It was having an over heating issue that seemed to only occur with distance travel in the summer. Unfortunately they were unable to reproduce the issue, but refused to charge us asking only that we bring it back should it occur again. They have won my business so long as I remain a resident here in Albuquerque and I highly recommend giving them a chance to win you over too.

Thanks to all at Jay Walton Automotive. I can't say enough how happy I was for the water pump replacement on my 2008 Tundra. I've been bring my truck here since I bought it new. I had a quote for the same work at a Toyota dealership, but they were $300 more than Jay's. All the work was done without a hitch. Besides saving money, I know Jay Walton stands behind their work with a 24 month/24K miles warranty on parts and labor. Everyone at the service counter folks (even at the collision side) were happy to see me and truly interested in me and my truck. Highly recommend.

Charged me $250 to troubleshoot my air conditioning (I had removed the interior and the front bumper to facilitate easy access) and then they told me there was no leak found. I later found the leak in my garage in an obvious spot. Nice big shop, smiling faces, but you're going to pay for their many employees and overhead.

I have a Toyota Sienna w/170k miles on it. Went to Jay Walton for a second opinion on a dealer estimate of $5000 to fix damage from overheating engine (dealer wanted to replace my engine! repair work would be ). JW did cooling system and engine block tests and determined that only the radiator was the problem, everything else was good. I went ahead and replaced the radiator and thermostat, too, just to be safe, and walked out $900 and change lighter instead of $5000. Been driving the van around all over the place in the heat at highway speeds and around the city, it's been two weeks and everything has held up perfectly. A previous time I went to JW to investigate a potential differential leak (on a Ford Escape, 100k miles) that an oil change tech identified, and JW showed me what's what, and quoted me a lot less than the dealer for the same work. JW were pretty busy at the time so had to wait a couple days before getting the fix done, but I was happy with the work. The staff at JW are professional, friendly and knowledgeable and not salesmen looking to squeeze you for all they can. They answered all my questions and kept me informed. Hard to find trustworthy mechanics, but I think I just found some!

When I first when to Jay Walton's I had just had a near miss of a horrible accident. I had taken my truck to 3 places prior to coming here to have my breaks fixed. The first place I had gone was Break Masters....I had a huge bill but the breaks still did not work properly, so I took it to another place, Wayne's Overall...what a disaster! OMG they broke my dashboard, stripped my lug nuts, charged me $489 for a part they did not replace and made the issue worse!!!! So I thought Midas had to be better.....NOT! They did not bother to tell me about the additional stripped lug nut. they just pretended to fix it. So, now I was out almost $1300! The day I was about an inch from slamming into a semi truck and had slid all over the road I googled repair shops and contacted BBB and they stated this place had very high ratings. Well I know why.... I HAVE BREAKS THAT WORK!! I can stop on a dime, don't slide all over the road and have EXCELLENT Customer Service. I don't think 5 stars are enough but that is all they allow!! Thank you guys for your excellent work and service. Oh and not only do I use their service but my neighbors also use them! Thanks you much!

I have been using Jay Walton's since +/- 2001 when my previous mechanic retired. My experience includes body work as well as regular maintenance on multiple vehicles. I trust all of the employees implicitly. When my brakes wore down prematurely, they have replaced the pads at no cost without me even realizing the quick wear. When a replaced door handle failed, they replaced that again at no cost. They let you know what work needs to be done in the near future (i.e. timing belt, brakes) so that you can plan, but ensure that your vehicle is in top safe condition. A good, trustworthy mechanic is tough to find, and I've been cheated, so I know the value.

Before embarking on a roadtrip to CA, we brought our 12pax van in to be serviced. I dropped it off at 0830 and it was ready for pick-up by 5pm. Everything was ship shape and we were confident of our vehicle's safety on our trip. We only take our vehicles to Jay Walton, where the services is excellent.

Jay Walton Automotive stands by their work. I had a transmission line replaced by Jay Walton in Albuquerque, NM on my Silverado truck. When I returned to my home in Angel Fire, NM, a distance of 180 one way miles, I had a leak in the lines when I parked in my driveway. Jay Walton offered to pay for the repair at a local shop. Since the local shop with certified mechanics was in Taos, a distance of 48 one-way miles from my home, Jay Walton agreed to pay for my mileage for the repairs in addition to the repair reimbursement. I believe you can rely on them for quality work notwithstanding this error. I did send them photos of the leak and before and after photos of the transmission line repair to validate the claim.

I recently moved here, and after a long trip noticed a leak under my SUV. I called Jay Walton based on a referral, and their excellent reviews. I was not disappointed. Delilah answered politely, and professionally and directed me to service. Brian told me to bring it in right away. When dropping off my vehicle, I found the lobby, and property in general very clean, very organized, and the staff all professional, friendly, and upfront. The cars were kept safely in a well gated and locked lot. Adrian was my contact, and was super communicative, professional, and kept me well informed about what was found by the mechanic, and when it would be done. My car was done on schedule, and under estimate. I am so grateful to the entire staff for doing such a great job. I had breaks replaced, an alignment, bearings, O2 sensor replacements, a washer fluid pump replaced, etc. So, the work was extensive, but definitely needed to be done. My brother is a service manager, and a certified mechanic, and my father was always in the garage himself. I've been around garages, and this was an atypical experience of the best kind. Thank you to the staff at Jay Walton... I know where to go now when my car needs service. 🙌
